McDonald's in Karlsruhe

In my opinion it has nothing to do with fast food. I would say it's quicker anywhere else at the station. And today there was a lot of staff there, but the coordination was apparently poor. I left the store without eating because I didn't expect to wait in line so long before my train left. Consider it a small donation to optimize processes.

I had ordered breakfast at my seat around 10:20. After waiting for a while, I was surprised that nothing came. So I checked my order again and found that I had specified table 53 instead of table 35. So I move forward. The ladies were very friendly and saved the food. Since the coffee was already cold, I even got a new one. Thank you, you are the best!

I ordered a tea at the ordering machine and paid for it. When we picked it up we were told that they could no longer serve hot drinks because the hot water preparation was already turned off. No money returns!!! Totally annoying!!! Never again!!

The place smelled like pee and was overall really dirty. The workers ignored us completely while we tried paying and kept laughing (mind you that they looked at us for about 5 times and just chose to ignore us. Don’t go here!!

I ordered food on site today and my ICE left 30 minutes after ordering. Unfortunately you didn't manage to provide my food within 25 minutes. Stopped by this morning for a snack and coffee. There were up to 10 visitors in the entire establishment. Having placed the order, I went to the cashier with the receipt to pay in cash, the payment was 12.32 euros. The cashier (she also collects orders, makes coffee, issues orders) seeing my money, and this is a 10 euro bill, 1 euro coin, 50 cents × 2 pcs., 10 cents, 5 cents, the rest are 2 and 1 cent, asks me strange question: “Where did you come from? From Ukraine? All Ukrainians only give coins...” I didn’t even know how to respond to such rudeness, but I just smiled sweetly at her. Next was the wait for our order, which was chaotic, our coffee had already been ready for about 6 minutes, and the roll and burger had not yet begun to cook. By the way! In the kitchen, everyone worked without gloves; they handled absolutely everything with their bare hands. And the icing on the cake was the “spectacle” when one of the employees, wearing shoes, climbed onto the table to wipe the lampshades. So, we had cold coffee and a completely tasteless breakfast. The child ordered a muffin and cheesecake separately from us. They gave out what they had leftovers in stock: a weathered cheesecake and a muffin “As it is!” Don't set foot there again.

Terribly long wait. They give out orders out of order, some wait a minute, others wait half an hour. Service 0 stars!

I packed everything and made it to the train almost at the last second. On the train I discovered that instead of a double royal cheese there was a chicken burger, no ketchup for the fries, Diet Coke with ice instead of without ice, and no napkins at all. By far, the worst McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had. Ordered the Royale (quarter pounder) or whatever it’s called, and a McPlant with fries and a drink. I ordered a Sunday with chocolate sauce. Unfortunately the ice was no longer good. Tasted like old milk. When I made the complaint, I asked that the employee try the ice cream himself. Nobody knew what was going on with my order (it was never shown). I then returned the receipt with the order ID and had my money paid out. The one time I got food it took well over 30 minutes. although there was very little going on. I have the feeling that they can't handle the new system at all. It was definitely my last visit there - in contrast to previous times, the atmosphere has been zero since the renovation and the tables are also dirty. I'd rather go to Ettlingen, everything there has always been great!

Everything was great. However, the feedback voucher cannot be redeemed. You're told it can't be done. No attempts to serve customers well. You are sent away. Next time I'll go to another fast food chain.

Was here for the second time today and massively disappointed for the second time. The employees are apparently not able to type out the order placed at the terminal. (In fact, it was grossly incorrect that instead of 9mc nuggets there was a bic mac and instead of a pomes there was an mc flurry) When I noticed when I called up my number that my order had been typed incorrectly, all that came was a “there’s nothing I can do” The last time the staff was similarly incompetent because several employees were able to answer me whether the reusable cups could also be returned to this branch.

Order system, but no display, calling out the numbers is difficult to understand when there is a large backlog and a long queue. What was really bad was that my order was in two small bags and the drinks were put out without a bag or holder, and there wasn't a bag to carry even when I asked. I had taken a rough look into the bags, but it wasn't until I got to the hotel that I realized that 2x large fries were simply MISSING, the mayonnaise was there, so I didn't notice it straight away. Instead of 4x sauce for the 25 nuggets, there was 3x mayonnaise for the missing fries and only 2x sauce for nuggets. This is bad, bad work at best, or is it systematic? Today, August 12th, I was a guest at the Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof branch with my girlfriend. The first thing we were allowed to do was wait too long even though there was nothing going on and the second thing that shouldn't be is that we only get cheeseburgers with pickles that weren't really wrinkly Sauce or something else on it, just bread, meat and cucumber, a coke that tastes like water and burgers that were missing, so I've never seen such service and hospitality in any store I've visited so far. We had a longer stay at the station due to a delay. Mc Donals was normally full for a fast food restaurant. The order took 35 minutes to arrive, which gave us interesting observational insights into the operational processes. The team processes the orders (kitchen, service) in a completely chaotic manner. An unfriendly tone towards the guest when accepting the order and paying is a long-established and well-maintained practice. In particular, the older employee at the checkout, who has already achieved film fame (!) with the reviews here, makes the customers clearly feel that they are unwanted and shoots the bird with her incompetence. The customers seem to be rather annoying to her. Since Germany's European Championship game against Spain was just starting, the rush of customers could have been used for a "bomb" deal: "Perhaps you would also like to try our delicious offer... Now new...". The boss repeatedly intervened to bring order when the chaos became too great and employees were shouting at each other or standing around lazily or striving away from the workplace, simply leaving the waiting customers uninterested. The boss seemed intelligent, but also deeply resigned and probably didn't know what to do in this chaos team. But after finally 35 minutes we had enough of the spectacle and asked for the money for our milkshake, which had not been made available for collection. One of the worst branches ever! There's just nothing wrong here! Lots of crowds, certain clientele… My order was picked up unnoticed by other people (are there order numbers?) When I asked politely where my order was, they just said: “It's gone, not my problem.” The exact same thing happened to two people next to me, so it doesn't seem to be an isolated case. If such a problem is already known, you should pay more attention to the order number, right? Overall employees extremely arrogant and rude. We wanted to eat at this McDonald’s branch on May 31st. Unfortunately, the incredibly incompetent and unfriendly team in this branch was unable to allow us to eat because our order was completely ignored for around 10 minutes.
