Extremely slow service and disgusting food. The worst McDonald's out of the over 50 I've been to.

I pulled up in my most expensive outfit, the scent of champagne in my hair, walked in—and Sandhofen's McDonald's was suddenly my shame, so true. No shine, no sparkle, just a hint of decay, as if they had missed the concept of "freshness" a hundred years ago. "Fresh" here? Oh, the saints laugh, even the icons there, because this food is so old, it was fresh when Jesus still wore sandals in town. A burger that breathes history, petrified like papyrus, one bite—and you think: That's the end of decency, noble splendor, and enjoyment. The fries? A tragedy, an oily, limp army, they stick to your plate like lost postcards—crispy? Never again. You chew, you wear yourself down, and instead of taste comes only annoyance, as if you were playing billiards with rats inside—and the rats would have more enjoyment. The Coke tastes of asphalt, the juices of soot, one sip and all dignity immediately leaves your noble consciousness: It's over. The water has hints of hospital corridors, metal, and resentment, one sip of it banishes even the last hint of well-being. They serve me donuts with smiles as sweet as pure vengeance, "Eat it in fifteen minutes"—as if it were a time-travel to doom. Fifteen minutes of aging? No, a countdown to agony, as if the dough had to mature first to finally become rotten and toxic. The staff—as friendly as extras in a tragedy, their eyes tired, without shine, as if any laughter were already too much. The cash register beeps mechanically, the timers sing their doomed tune, you get the feeling: This is a place where they serve routine, cold, monotonous food. The well-being of the people? Oh, don't ask about the price, because here more than just the palate suffers—heart and stomach pay the price. Whoever eats here doesn't just lose their appetite, no, they lose their trust, because such food corrupts the holiest of holies, even makes angels see. The kitchen—a laboratory of indifference, no master anywhere, a place where care is a foreign word and freshness has long since been divided. They push the food around, they don't light the stove with feeling, they serve disappointment in boxes—that's the game here. Sandhofen, hear this judgment, engraved in gold and mockery: This McDonald's is a disgrace—culinary junk. I, born with a silver spoon, speak this dictum clearly and loudly: Close the doors, stuff the burgers, extinguish the fire that's brewing here. Because it's better to starve in splendor than to taste pure disgust here; it's better to eat dust from the parquet floor than to cure this uniform taste. Anyone who still smiles and orders here lacks a sense of taste and reason—this place is like a myth of corruption, rotting in its own land. Well, that's it, my dears; after this experience, all that's left for me is the autopsy.

Very slow and very often items are missing from the order

Went there and got a "liquid" from a milkshake machine that had been broken for two days. I complained, but no refund because I ordered as part of a set meal...? I was actually told it was my own fault and should have ordered separately. ???? Complaining to MC directly was also unsuccessful. Everyone was very indifferent..... Very abysmal, unfriendly restaurant management with mediocre German skills. Conclusion: Never again, avoid this place!!!!!

The tables were all very unclean and the atmosphere was not that nice.

I've driven through several times and there's ALWAYS something missing from my order. Last time, there were two fries and a burger missing. That was definitely the last time!!!! 😡😈

Well, here we go! Once again, they brought me the delicious chicken nuggets, but once again without the promised mustard sauce! They offered me other sauces, but a true hero would eat the nuggets with this sauce alone. So I chew dryly like a beggar on hard bread. Woe betide me! A nugget without sauce is like a knight without a sword.

Ordered via app, walked in, and received my order after about 3 minutes. Good service. Update 09/01/25 as before... Note: the restrooms seem clean. Other branches could learn a thing or two from that.

Ordered today through Lieferando. Waited over two hours. Called and asked where the order was. The employee barely speaks German and blames Lieferando, not providing any information about the order. The food arrived cold and inedible. I don't recommend ordering for delivery. P.S. This isn't the first time, hence the review!

Worst McDonald's ever! It doesn't even meet the minimum standards of McDonald's or a fast food chain. Employees are overwhelmed and can't even hand out orders in chronological order. People who order 10 minutes late get their food first. And the food gets cold because it's been sitting there for 15 minutes, just waiting for it to come out of the kitchen.

Ordered through Lieferando. The order was accepted, but four minutes before the driver was supposed to arrive, the order was canceled. If they didn't have the capacity, they shouldn't have accepted the order.

This is the worst McDonald's there is. I've been there twice and was disappointed both times. The first time, I waited 40 minutes for a burger. The second time, I was intercepted at the entrance. The woman in dark clothing with an accent told us not to order. They had too many open orders. So we went to another store...they urgently need to improve their staff. The store wasn't full, and there were four people behind the counter.

Service was somewhat disorganized and seemed disorganized. Everything took forever. Management wasn't much to be seen. Given the prices charged for this crap, you'd expect better service.

Tables, benches, and lighting were dirty with food scraps. Table service on Saturday evenings at 11 p.m. isn't possible because they're supposedly closing right away (they're open until 2 a.m.). It was impossible to have a conversation because the man at the cash register immediately started getting louder. The dirtiest McDonald's I've ever experienced, with extremely unfriendly staff.

A dog at McDonald's?? Today, a dog sat next to our table. It came in wet and, of course, sprayed us and our food. I've never experienced anything worse in my life. Can't you eat in peace? Is that hygienic?

The food and drinks are like any McDonald's. However, the store overall gives a rather neglected impression. The tables, chairs, and benches were very dirty and unhygienic during my visit.

What do you expect when you order at the electronic board at McDonald's and then enter the number of the sign for table service, which you take with you to your chosen seat? Exactly: that at some point after a few minutes, someone from the service counter will loudly call out this number into the room. "Table service" in self-service combo. ;-) Otherwise, it's a McDonald's like any other. They could increase the frequency a bit when emptying the return trolley and the wastebasket in the bathroom, but it's not necessary. And if you ask me, there's no need to prove to humanity that the restaurant has the world's best air conditioning. A jacket is recommended. But nobody asks me. You get full in the usual fast-food way. So, everything's fine.

Store is shit too long waiting time and food is cold and half is missing

Instead of big tasty BBQ there was the normal one, again forgetting the sauces. That's what happens when you hire people who can't even read the board and speak two words of German. PS: check your burgers had hair in the big mac two days ago.

So sometimes the staff is simply unreasonable. You get bullied because you order 3 sauces during your meal and use the table service available. Then comes the big deal: you specifically order the burger that doesn't have BBQ sauce and you get the one with BBQ sauce. Instead of taking it back and making a new one like it says on the bill, the person who told me about the sauces has to tell me that it doesn't matter whether it's BBQ or Big Tasty Bacon Sauce and rolls his eyes. I think that's definitely not the way to deal with customers, and she picked her nose and then didn't at least wash her hands afterwards as expected. Luckily, a competent employee came and resolved this situation and simply made me a new burger without much discussion.

Today's situation, 10:20, I go to the kiosk to order breakfast and the lady behind the counter shouts KEINE MORNING. I looked at my watch, the breakfast offer was available at the kiosk, so I paid with a smile and waited for my order. Another issue is the staff, I understand that working at McD is not a great idea, but if you can't smile at least artificially, it's better to change your job. To sum up: McDonald's is like any other, here working people always have time, so if you want to eat McD's quickly, you'd better go somewhere else. Also remember that breakfast here is served until 10:20, not until 10:30 as the official McD website states.

No good restaurant lasts too long, bad service

I'm now really disappointed with this McDonald's in Sandhofen. Today was the highlight again: First my fries were forgotten - unfortunately I didn't notice until I got home. Then I ordered two apple turnovers. Instead, I was told there was only one left, and when I politely asked, “What do we do now?” I was simply ignored. No “wait a minute,” no “sorry,” just turned away. I stood there as ordered and not picked up. When I asked again, all I got was a snide answer in broken German that I could get mini fries instead. Wow. Apple turnovers paid for TWO. I took it because I didn't feel like discussing it anymore. But the service? An absolute disaster. I rarely give bad reviews, but something happens here every time. If you live in Sandhofen – eat somewhere else. Your money and your nerves are worth it.

I am very disappointed with my last visit to McDonald's. We placed our order in advance through the app in the hope that we would receive everything we wanted and to ensure that the products were in stock. However, when we arrived on site we discovered that many items were no longer available. The staff's excuse that they would be closing soon was incomprehensible to us since that's exactly why we used the app - to see what was available and to make sure we got everything in full. For me, this raises questions about the reliability of the app and the planning of the restaurant. I expect an order like this to be better coordinated, especially if you order in advance. Very unfortunate and very weak!

CATASTROPHE! The health department really needs to take a look here urgently. I politely asked if the tables in the otherwise empty McDonald's could be cleaned, and was only asked, confused, which table I meant. All the tables were dirty and disgusting. The place looks ok and it's clean, but the service might be under mc D standards for Germany. I've ordered my coffee to drink in, but was brought to me in a paper cup. I'm allergic to formaldehyde and I took it back to ask for a replacement. When I said "Excuse me, I've ordered my coffee to drink in", the answer was "Yes, and?". 😄😄😄 "And this is a takeaway, not a drink in" I said. "But we don't have ceramic cups" was the answer. I said "Look behind you, on the coffee machine". There were lots of ceramic cups stacked on it. Finally, seeing how ridiculous the situation was, he agreed to make another capuccino in a ceramic cup, like he should've done from the start. I don't get this kind of work ethics very often in Germany, but....

Hassle-free drive-in, staff friendly. Update: Unfortunately it gets very busy from time to time, but the staff gets what they manage!

I bought a plant-based burger at the store on Monday. I'll keep it short: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE NASTIEST FOOD POISONING EVER! Fever, chills, non-stop thunderstorm abdominal fever. In the meantime I thought about ordering a TV from Amazon that I can hang in the bathroom because I spend 20 out of 24 hours a day there! Even my exorcist was overwhelmed by the situation! The restaurant offers: Delicious, cheap and quick food, as well as a clean bathroom and activities until late. I recommend the McSet (Big Mac, fries and Coca-Cola), ice cream and coffee ;)

Very rude staff, there were loud arguments among the employees. We placed our order at the terminal and chose table service. When the food came, we distributed it around the table and after biting into the Mc Crispy we realized that the Mc Crispy was with curry sauce (this was not what we ordered). After I went to the checkout and told them, I was told that it was standard with curry and that this was the only way it was available. After I told the employee that we had chosen it that way, she said it wasn't available. I then went to the terminal and looked for the burger I ordered again and showed it to her. The only response was a shake of the head. Furthermore, the sanitary facilities didn't smell clean and the ladies couldn't even wash their hands.

It would be nice if it was only open until 4 a.m. in the drive-in, so I walked there for an extra 30 minutes only to find myself in front of the locked door. I'm now walking back home through the bitter cold with my stomach growling, thanks for that!!!

It is a pleasant atmosphere, the sanitary facilities are in great need of maintenance. The handle on the toilet was gone and the door for the ladies was broken and couldn't be used. Otherwise it was nice and warm and the food was good. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'll take a look there again. Then I'll go upstairs and take a look.

I've been to this McDonald's branch about 3-4 times in the last six months to buy ice cream and on each visit I was told that the ice cream machine was broken.

No water to drink, no squeezes in the Happy Meal (just left out without comment), extremely slippery floor - overall a very disappointing experience. By far the most unhygienic and worst McDonald's I have ever visited.

Just at the Drive Inn 15 minutes ago Bought 2 Big Macs, 3 cheeseburgers and a large portion of fries to take away and a BigMac is missing at home! So always check whether everything is in there. Nobody answers the phone after 9 p.m. Otherwise just normal McDonalds. Makes a clean impression.

I would advise everyone not to come here after 11 p.m. It was around 11:30 p.m. I ordered 20 nuggets and unfortunately they weren't cooked properly which gave me food poisoning so avoid this MCS! Employees also terribly unfriendly.

Terrible, stinky place with low- educated, rude staff, that has no common sense of what hospitality/ service is. Worst Mcducky in the area. Unfriendly and annoyed employees, ordered food without cheese and received it with cheese. Unfortunately I only noticed this when I got home. Employee motivation from 1 to 10: minus 19. Impossible .

Employees do everything they can to circumvent the system. After ordering, it is immediately ready for pickup and then the number disappears even though they have only just started preparing it. After that, it takes its time because the number no longer exists. So it was like that for me and the other 5 people who waited with me. In the end I got something different than what I ordered....

My favorite McDonalds from Mannheim. Fresh preparation, always nice and hot, friendly staff.

We had ordered plant nuggets for the children and received the chicken nuggets with the comment, "we couldn't imagine anyone ordering these for the children and assumed it was a mistake." Afterwards, we initially forgot to bring the right nuggets and the book we wanted and ordered wasn't in Happy Meal either.

Always have a nice meal. There is also a nice playground for children.

We really like this particular McDonald's in Mannheim. The service is always very fast despite the large number of visitors. The tables are always clean and the room is tidy!! The worst fries and burgers I've ever eaten. Fries lay around for 5 hours and that's how they tasted and I don't even want to start talking about the burgers. Never go to McDonald's again, that's more of a physical assault

If you never go into Drive on a Sunday evening, you could end up stuck in a traffic jam for an hour!

We were there for breakfast a few days ago. There was nothing going on, we were the only guests at the time. Hence the sad fact that the staff still seemed overwhelmed: We had to go to the checkout twice because we noticed things that had been forgotten, and then the staff argued in front of us and our children about whose fault it was. The tables weren't really clean, even though there would have been more than enough time! Unfortunately, my daughter received a donut that was still completely frozen and I complained about it. She immediately got a "fresh" one, which was also frozen. The employee then said that we would just have to wait a bit until we could eat it. But since my daughter was now hungry, I also gave this donut back, which (after I... It was already in our hands) and we were then allowed to choose something else. So all in all a very sad affair!

Burger cold, strange aftertaste

Mac is like mac, the expensive one and quite tasty, but one sandwich was made very ugly, but it was probably because I was in a hurry, the sauce flowed out of the side and the other side was dry 😅 The double bic mac was also too dry, but I could eat it and eat it. I've had the same sandwiches prepared more carefully in other places, so only 3 stars here.

I ordered a Bigmac menu with friends and ordered a double cheeseburger menu and 20 nuggets, only got 1 double cheeseburger and 19 nuggets, sad that they act like that, even though it was empty you can't even make the menu properly.

I was shocked, I found the team that prepared cold food for him :( The restaurant itself was dirty and sticky. It was an unpleasant stay. I very rarely write negative reviews, I had to do it here for future guests. Good luck!!
