McDonald's in Mannheim

Surprisingly improved compared to my last visit, I wanted hot fries and hot burgers and got them, the menu navigation when ordering is catastrophic compared to other burger shops and there is no need to talk about the atmosphere at McDonald's but the food and service have positively surprised me

My ice cream has almost no chocolate sauce. The people working with me yell at you, etc. It's terrible, better not to eat anything.

My girlfriend and I were tired after our stay in Mannheim and wanted something quick to eat, so we decided on McDonald's. Ordering food at the kiosks was easy, even with the coupons available online. There was no table service, so we had to pick up our order at the pickup station. My number was called out, but that wasn't the case for everyone. With the temperature at a pleasant 32°C, I had hoped the air conditioning would provide some relief, but I was sadly disappointed. It was really warm inside; there was barely a breeze. A minor drawback, but otherwise, I was largely impressed by the cleanliness, the food, and the staff.

One employee thinks she's Kim Kardashian—sadly, really unfriendly, but also really ugly. She says we don't have any ice, even though there's a whole tub full of ice cubes behind her. I don't understand some people. If they don't want to work, then they should just stay home.

It's just a trashy McDonald's. The people coming and going there take some getting used to, but the people who work there are still very polite and courteous. Unfortunately, the place is just filthy, although they constantly try to keep things tidy.

Atmosphere: It's just a McDonald's, so don't expect fine dining, but it was reasonably clean, which isn't always the case in all branches. All in all, I had the feeling that at least one more person on the shift would have been really good.

This McDonald's restaurant is located on a shopping street in the center of Mannheim. There are two floors here, the second one is led by a not too convenient and safe spiral staircase. There are toilets on the second floor. A woman sits near them and collects money for visiting the toilet. I don't know if it is necessary to pay them, but everything looks like this. This is not acceptable, in my opinion. The food is the same as in all establishments of this chain. The ice cream only made me sad: there are few flavors, it is fresh in itself, it melts quickly. It takes a very long time to wait for an order during busy hours. The hall has comfortable seats with sockets near the tables.

Frankly, it is a beautiful and wonderful place. I have beautiful memories with this place. McDonald's was always a delicious meal and a meeting place for loved ones and friends. I visited my brother in this wonderful city and we always met him here with his friends. My greetings to you from Morocco.

My girlfriend fell on the floor this evening because of the rubber carpet at the entrance door. I wanted to talk to the restaurant manager but unfortunately he wasn't there. Then I told an employee about the problem and the only thing he did was say thank you and laughed at my wife with the colleague. So you just have to be ashamed, because McDonald employs employees who have no idea about hospitality, who have no knowledge of the German language and you only find African employees in the toilets, which I personally find similar to racism.

A few years ago I enjoyed visiting this branch regularly. However, on my last visit, I got a soggy, lukewarm chicken burger and the staff wasn't exactly friendly. But the atmosphere is still pleasant. Especially in the upper area you have a good view and can eat in peace. That's why I still give it three stars, especially because of the rest of the employees who of course can't do anything about it.

I had a horrible experience with McDonald's because I received cold, old, bad tasting fries. The nuggets are old. The Chicken Crips sandwich has dry and almost burnt chicken. I ordered online. McPlant, veggie nuggets, fried potatoes. Horrible burger. The potatoes were a total disrespect: terrible, withered, OLD (!), possibly fried many hours ago. My impression: For now, I would like to say that I am a bit conflicted. Let's start with the food: In total I had four items for breakfast. Two of them – the McToast Bacon & Cheese and the McMuffin Egg – were a complete disappointment. They were not convincing in terms of taste; the bacon had no real flavor and the cheese was completely tasteless. The Big Morning Farmer and the McMuffin Fresh Chicken were able to partially compensate for this, so overall there is a reasonably balanced rating. Service: Unfortunately the service was very poor. An impaired person was ignored and not noticed. Table service is also offered at the self-service terminals, but this does not work because the relevant signs are missing. The waiting times for my orders were acceptable: the first time I had to wait exactly 3 minutes after paying, the second time just over 4 minutes - even though no other customers had ordered. So there is still room for improvement here. Ambiance & cleanliness: The ambience is okay and the cleanliness is generally okay. Nevertheless, I had the feeling that everything seemed somehow dirty, which dampened the desire to eat a little.

Hmm. Well, I don't share the many negative experiences. I only go there every now and then - you want to stay healthy - but I always have a pretty good impression. The last time I was there was a few days ago at lunchtime, the shop was full of kiddies and Insta mice in vanilla (that's sooo 2023!). Nevertheless, my order came friendly, fresh and quick, and after a few minutes I was on my way again. So I can't complain.

I ordered some apple turnovers on the app. Then I had to pay in the app, whereupon the payment wasn't recorded, but I could see it being charged to my card. When I was at the restaurant to pick up the order and asked how exactly it worked or what was going on, I was insulted. It seems to me that was the senior employee. This senior employee didn't deal any better with his co-workers, he spoke pretty broken German, which made the conversation pointless because he didn't understand the problem. Nevertheless, he thought he had to treat me like the last person. I then simply left the store without turning around.

Food is just McDonald's. There are homeless people lying around on the upper floor or people snoring at you while you eat. Apparently the operator doesn't care that his customers are harassed. If you give Lieferando a delivery time of 35-55 minutes, you expect it to arrive shortly afterwards! If you can't meet your delivery time yourself, then I ask that you write down a delivery time of 2-3 hours. That was the last time I ordered here if I received this delivery. Kind regards
