Kentucky Fried Chicken in Mannheim

After a long time, I felt like eating KFC again. I haven't felt like eating KFC for a very long time. We wanted to order at the counter, but were then directed to the self-service kiosk. Unfortunately, no one speaks German anymore. The hot wings are great, as always, but everything else is a flop, as is often the case. All the tables are sticky, and the music is way too loud and annoying. So we went outside. Outside, all the tables were sticky. So we had no other choice. It was very windy today, so everything flew off the plates. Perhaps you could put small trash cans on the tables so that everything doesn't fly around. When I then went to the bathroom to wash my hands, I was hit by a smell that I only knew from my grandmother's retirement home bathroom. It also smelled so strongly of urine that I didn't feel like touching anything at all. The water dispenser was touchless. Thank goodness. But it got me wet because it was completely covered in limescale. Unfortunately, I had to touch the soap dispenser. Thankfully, I was able to open the door with my shoulder as I left, and I only got stuck for a moment. I waited outside until my friend had finished eating and watched the restaurant employees, four of them in their work clothes, pulling weeds. Even if they change their gloves afterward, I still find it a bit disgusting. All in all, after my next visit to IKEA, I'll probably not be going to KFC again. Oh yeah, those €1.50 burgers taste like the old sponge from my elementary school... Insane...

The food was good, but the restrooms were a complete disaster. It's a shame there's no smell-free phone, otherwise your phone would have fallen out of your hands by now. They desperately need cleaning!

I'm blind and wanted to eat at KFC in Mannheim-Sandhofen – accompanied by my guide dog. As soon as I entered the restaurant, the staff rudely asked me to leave immediately because "dogs are not allowed." I calmly explained that my dog ​​was a legally authorized guide dog and showed my official ID. Instead of understanding, they offered me another insult: They wanted to ban me from the premises – supposedly not because of the dog, but that was clearly exactly what they were talking about. And that's precisely why there are clear laws that protect people with disabilities and their guide dogs and guarantee access. Only after consulting the store manager did they respond with a half-hearted "I'm sorry." But that doesn't make the incident go away. I was treated disrespectfully and discriminatorily – all because the staff isn't adequately trained. KFC should urgently ensure that its employees know what a guide dog is and what rights those affected have. I will certainly not enter this location again.

For me, this is one of the worst fast foods. You have to look for the chicken under the breading. I'd rather just eat bread.

Ordered food and it wasn't delivered. The money was still debited. I ordered through Uber Eats. No one answered the phone at KFC. Addendum: Uber Eats is refusing to refund the amount ordered! The food was unilaterally reported as DELIVERED in the app. Customer satisfaction is bottomless on both sides. What an extreme disappointment!

They put chili cheese sauce in my zinger burger

They're stingy with mayo and don't include wet wipes like they used to. It's definitely been better.

The staff is totally confused. They're almost asleep while serving. They look like they haven't slept in five days. They barely understand German and are unfriendly. It's not worth eating at a fast-food restaurant like that at these prices. It would be cheaper at a steakhouse.

It's 2025, and dogs aren't allowed in KFC. We were moved outside with our baby (it was cold). However, the waitress was very nice and brought us water for the dog.

This KFC is an absolute disaster. You can order there, and nothing happens for 2.5 hours. It's practically impossible to reach someone by phone. If someone does answer, they lie to you coldly. They said there was a traffic jam (for 2 hours?), but a check revealed there wasn't any. I called again after 2.5 hours, finally got through, and then they said the food was cold and the driver wasn't delivering it. Unbelievable. Never again.

It's just not like other KFCs. The meat, especially the hot wings, were a disaster: weird balls of breading, sometimes spicy, sometimes not quite as seasoned. It also upset my stomach. The restrooms smell really bad, and cleanliness is a different story. I've eaten there twice now (in 2024 and 2025) and won't be going back a third time. Thank goodness there are still fun KFCs in the Mainz area...

Nobody ever answers the phone here, and if they do, they yell at you and simply hang up. The food is either delivered way too late or not at all. Extremely rude service – go to a different KFC instead.

We wanted to sit outside and eat on site since we had a dog with us. Unfortunately the seating is in the blazing sun & although there are parasol holders in the floor, none were provided when requested. That's not exactly very accommodating/customer friendly 😡 considering the business location is quite remote.

The tables were very sticky. There were a lot of flies. The meat didn't look fully cooked. There were insect wings on the fries. Unfortunately, I absolutely don't recommend it.

Here's my review of the delivery service. I've ordered several times, the food was always hot, and I've never been short of anything. Delivery times were always approximately 40-50 minutes. Today, only 17 minutes.

Ordered twice for delivery, received the wrong order twice, side dishes were missing, and dips weren't there either. Tried calling 10 times, but no one answered. It couldn't be more antisocial; we'll never order again.

First of all: This review mainly refers to deliveries Unfortunately, things are often forgotten during deliveries. Be it drinks, sauces, etc... It's rare that everything arrives. Once you have come to terms with this, the delivery will arrive either after 20 minutes or 2 hours. There is nothing in between. Even if you have come to terms with this, it is of course still possible that some food items are already cold. Otherwise, the suppliers are usually quite friendly. A clear plus point. Kris in particular is a man of honor. He also drives back if something is missing and drops it off. It's only because of him that you have one more star in your rating.

Typical KFC experience except the chicken is seasoned to German taste. Ordering is simple through their electronic kiosk and having them in English is a huge plus. The one thing they could use help with is customer service. Getting orders ready seems to take a little bit longer than usual and employees are not friendly in my opinion. Other than that if you're here for the chicken... Enjoy!

One of the worst KFC, the staff is apparently unable to take simple orders, kept quiet about the change, I only wanted one chili cheese fries instead of 2 individual fries to my bucket, when I wanted to order at the checkout I was told to order myself Terminal was brought and I was shown like an idiot how it works (which I know doesn't exist at MC and Co.) When I repeatedly said that I would like chili cheese fries instead of 2 fries, the waitress had to turn around and answer foreign questions that works. Answer only with an additional charge (it's clear that I eat at kfc more often, well not anymore, at least not here in Sandhofen, that wasn't the first time there either.) Unfortunately, only staff should serve and be at the checkout if they understand what they are doing Customer wants. Personnel who are not up to the task should be planned and deployed elsewhere.

First a BIG shook was how little the range of food was in the US there's way more items on the menu. I recently visited the KFC branch and was extremely satisfied with my experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made my visit very pleasant. The portions were generous and the value for money was excellent - you definitely get what you pay for and will be full. The cleanliness and high level of hygiene in the branch were particularly impressive. Overall I can say that this is the best KFC in Mannheim. A big compliment to the entire team!

We got the food very quickly and the service was extremely nice. Everything tip top. The only thing I can complain about is the lack of umbrellas, which makes it impossible to eat outside on a sunny day because the heat is pouring from the sky and it is very uncomfortable. I've been there many times, but I often order there too. In terms of prices, KFC is really expensive, but you can treat yourself every now and then. I only have the BBQ Crunch Burger and usually the Chicken Bite or Crispy. I find them very tasty 😋 The fries here are totally soft and disgusting, but they are included in the menu. Employees there are always friendly.

The other employees also joined in the friendly support. This branch is absolutely recommended. The cleanliness and quality (freshness of the preparation) were also top!

On May 4th, 2024, my husband was at KFC Frankenthaler Str. 125a, 68307 Mannheim and ordered chicken wings. On the night of May 5th, 2024, he had to vomit several times, plagued by nausea. This condition lasted into the following hours, so that he had to call in sick at work. Never again KFC there!

Wir waren heute gegen 12 Uhr dort. Bestellung am Terminal. Das kleine Restaurant wirkte sehr sauber, auch die Toiletten waren sauber, das Personal empfing uns mit einem Lächeln. Unsere Bestellung wurde z.T. frisch zubereitet und war dementsprechend schön heiß und sehr sehr lecker. Der Colonel Original Burger ist eine Empfehlung wert, ebenso wie die Cheese Bites. Kommen gerne das nächste mal wieder👍

Wir waren schon öfter hier essen, es war auch immer super. Dieses Mal war das Essen nur lauwarm und die Musik, die im Hintergrund lief, war uns zu laut und zu hektisch um gemütlich zu essen.

Eine Enttäuschung auf ganzer Linie! Ich bin auf dem Weg nach Hause kurz in den KFC gesprungen und habe mir ein Menü „4er Crispy“ bestellt. Die Bilder auf dem Bestelldisplay und die Realität könnten nicht weiter auseinander liegen. Schon fast den Tatbestand der Täuschung erfüllend (große Pommes kommt in der Verpackung einer kleinen Portion; Crispy sind alles andere als crisp). Die Pommes haben die Friteuse nur kurz und vor viel zu lange Zeit gesehen ( haben wohl auf der Warmhalteplatte gestanden). Die Crispys sind ebenfalls überhaupt nicht kross eher gekocht und nachlässig paniert. Dafür werden 10,- Euro aufgerufen! Diese kann man besser investieren! Ich rate von einem Besuch ab! (Fotos erspare ich euch)

Kleiner KFC neben IKEA, Media Markt und Diversem. Nix besonderes, aber ausreichend. Auch wenn KFC hochpreisig im Fastfood Segment ist, liegt die Qualität der Hühnchen ebenfalls hoch. Dicke Panade die gut füllt und sättigt. Alles besser, als die Pappburger bei der "Goldenen Möwe" oder dem "Burger König" Coleslaw Salat ist auch sehr gut. Wie immer. Die Pommes sind länger knusprig, als man es gewohnt ist. Vorbildlich. Restaurant wie sonst auch. Üblich hässliche Franchise-Deko mit Bezug zu Colonel Sanders und seinem Geheimrezept. Fazit: Geht immer mal, sättigt besser als die Mitbewerber, kostet zwar was mehr, aber man geht ja arbeiten.

War eigentlich immer zufrieden, die letzten 3 Bestellungen waren leider alle Falsch verpackt, entweder wurde was vergessen oder es war komplett andere Artikel dabei. Heute hatte ich normale Burger bestellt und nur Veggie burger bekommen (schmeckt übrigens überhaupt nicht)
