McDonald's in Leipzig

Hello, I tried to make a birthday reservation here. Unfortunately, it didn't work out, but the employee on the phone was very friendly and very competent.

I wanted to buy the new Tiny Tan BTS individually today, and the big, fat guy at the counter said in an arrogant voice, "We don't sell them individually, only with Happy Meal." At other McDonald's in Leipzig, I got them individually without Happy Meal. P.S. The cashier was very friendly and wanted to help me.

The shift manager (male, mini-pli) was arrogantly unfriendly. Customers are often provocatively and loudly reprimanded for seemingly getting in his way in a very busy store. The fries were only half full, one item had been swapped for the wrong, smaller one, and everything was crammed into a bag that was too small. That was my last visit here.

The employees know they are at the station and do not pack everything when they order takeaway.

Service is abysmal!!!! I waited an hour for my order, went down to the managers, and the manager told me to wait upstairs. When I asked how long I'd have to wait, as it had been 40 minutes, he said, "Can you hear me? Wait upstairs!" Even though the numbers were 30 spots higher than mine and they were already being issued. I will never, ever go to this McDonald's again. I just wanted my money back and leave. I wasted so much time. And the girl upstairs advised me to go downstairs and sort this out. Service is terrible. I received my order an hour and 5 minutes later. I think the girl from the second floor simply collected it to avoid conflict. The manager should be fired. He didn't understand what happened and didn't want to help in any way. On the contrary, he cut off another employee who wanted to place an order, spoke rudely to me, and ignored me.

Open 24/7, which is really good. However, the vending machines are always very full and you sometimes have to queue, plus it takes a little longer for the food to arrive because there is such high demand.

I was in the dining area upstairs on the first floor today. The short-haired employee was quick and friendly. The entire area was clean. There were plenty of towels by the sink, and the restroom was also well-organized. ​That was a positive change from the last time, when a young employee with glasses was on duty. Back then, the restroom smelled unbearable, and the tables were sticky with sauce residue.

No. There are beggars everywhere, lingering at the tables and standing there until they get something. I ordered an iced caramel coffee today for just under €5, and the cup was filled to the top with ice cubes. From McDonald's to the escalator, I found that after pulling on the straw three times, the cup was empty except for the ice cubes. A complete disappointment. The cheese on the burgers wasn't even remotely melted.

Unbelievable! No food due to understaffing. Then close the hut!

Fix the toilet properly, it's impossible to pee.

Unfortunately, I really can't understand it. There's nothing going on in the store, and yet the employee forgets to pack a burger. I really don't understand that.

I didn't even get a straw when I asked. The food was so-so, too.

The McDonald's is open 24/7, but at night there are no tables, no seating, and the staff are unfriendly.

The restaurant is truly abysmal. It's dirty, the tables are sticky, the floor sticky. The trash cans are completely overflowing. The staff gives the impression that they're completely incapable of putting together a decent menu due to a lack of communication and coordination. Paying is extremely slow, as there are visible arguments among the employees about who should be paying... Unfortunately, it's truly a complete disaster. Sorry, the restaurant has definitely become unviable. What a shame!

Juice shop has already given me wrong castles in the right packaging several times, I have to check with 8 employees again if it is really the stuff I ordered

The cake is much too small for the large container and easily tips over. Today, a coworker dropped the ice cream, spilling a little onto the paper bag. She simply wiped it away with a rag, and the bag ripped.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and ready to assist with any questions. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Its central location is also ideal for exploring the city. We would definitely choose this hotel again. I highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, I only got half of my order and was billed for the entire amount. I ordered again 10 minutes later and again only got half. It seems to me like they're just trying to rip me off. The staff isn't the real deal either.

Unfortunately, I had to give up on using the toilet. It stinks, and I had to carry the smell around with me for two days. It's a disaster.

After attending an event, this branch was my go-to place for an evening snack. What can I say: terrible. Two-thirds of the ordering terminals weren't working, and the stairs leading upstairs were filthy. I unwrapped my chicken burger and was met by a swarm of fruit flies (at least 10!!!). Disgusted, I approached the employee on the first floor, who told me to go downstairs to order. When I got there, a German-speaking woman was called. She brusquely said she would give me a new burger. I declined and wanted my money back, because after the disgusting fly experience, I was done for. But I was wrong. So I asked for her name, but she didn't say it. She glared at me with angry eyes and said brusquely that she wouldn't tell me, after all, she has data protection laws. So I stood there with the fly burger on my tray and will be contacting the branch manager today, or even higher up. Never again!!!

So far the worst food I've ever had, waited over 20 minutes and then it was ice cold

The lady assigned to the top floor today is so slow she's almost walking backward. The food sometimes sits in the elevator for five minutes, and tables aren't wiped down. Unfriendly. The food was cold...hunger drove it down. Never again.

The cleanliness, the smell, and the appearance are an absolute disaster! How can you let your restaurant fall into such disrepair? It's a shame that cleanliness, order, and hygiene are rare in 2025. We will never eat here again.

This was by far the worst McDonald's visit of my life. First, the bathroom: It looked like a run-down rest stop—and smelled exactly like one. The floor was littered with urine; there was no soap or towels. Every single footstep echoed through the room, as if you were in an abandoned parking garage. To top it all off, one of the many flies pooped right on the lid of my drink. Yes, really. Pooped on it. After I finished my burger and my hands were completely covered in sauce and grease, we were horrified to discover that there were no napkins. Not at the table, not on the tray, nowhere. In fact, the entire dining area was a disaster. Fries, burger scraps, and crumpled wrappers were littered across the floor. The chairs were sticky. It was as if no one had cleaned the place for days. Regarding the hold music: in addition to the annoying fly noises, we had to endure a remix of horrible car ride songs. The food was still warm and quite tasty, though.

The 24-hour McDonald's at Leipzig Central Station delights visitors as much as it soothes their souls and stomachs. The food is comparable to any other McDonald's, which is why I can't go into it any further and would rather talk about my experience at 2:30 a.m. Despite the late hour, the staff were still awake and carefully took my order. It was ready quickly, as you'd expect from fast-food chains. However, the entire upper seating area was cordoned off, meaning there was nowhere to sit and you had to flee to the cold, empty, dark platforms to eat your order. The restrooms are also located upstairs, which is why they were unfortunately unavailable. I find this extremely tragic and not positive, considering that this is a type of restaurant. Unfortunately, I know from daytime experience that the restrooms are rather unhygienic even without it. I don't want to complain—after all, it's a service to find something to eat at 2:30 a.m.—but this place could still be a bit more welcoming. A few seats should be enough to start with.

That was my last visit to that McDonald's. I waited 15 minutes in vain for my order and then had to catch my train. Might as well throw away money when the staff at a train station take their time.

We just bought food for the kids here while passing by. It's crowded and there's a lot of traffic. There's no place to stand. We quickly checked what we bought but we missed that we were robbed for one French fry and a water for the youngest child. We only realized this when we got to the hotel and saw what was missing from the bag. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food and drinks are fine. Female member of staff upstairs was rude. I bought meals for 3 of us but my son sat quietly eating a sandwich (he doesn't like McDonald's food). She told me that he couldn't eat his sandwich there - I am cross as he is only 9 and I'm not sure where he should go whilst we all ate our food. We then visited the toilets. This was a terrible mistake as they stank of nappy bins. We couldn't wait to get out of there which was a shame as we wanted to relax after a long journey.

Incredible slow as for a fast food chain. And there’s nothing to justify this, there was enough staff at the time when I was there and there constantly were a few staff members who were doing nothing, like literally just standing and chitchatting despite the large crowd of people who couldn’t even pay (let alone lot people who were waiting for their orders) for their orders.

This is the second time I haven't gotten an apple turnover at this McDonald's. There are very few napkins. The restrooms look like prison, and you have to ask for them to open them. There's no toilet paper or towels, and it stinks of urine. Flies are flying everywhere in the café. There's no cashier at the register to accept cash payments. You have to push through a huge crowd and ask to be taken to the cashier, and only after 5-10 minutes do they come up to you with disgruntled expressions and take your money. After a long wait, I finally got my order. I checked it, and again, they hadn't included an apple turnover. Finally, I objected, but they rolled their eyes and put the apple turnover in anyway. After such service, I wasn't in the mood, but thankfully, everything was warm and delicious.

It's absolutely stressful going into this place, even if you know what you want to order. I've had a mistake with every order so far: one time a whole patty was missing from a double-patty burger, then the sauces for four meals were missing on my next visit. I don't know how over-organized people can be to make such fatal errors in every order (!). I give the place another chance every time; at the moment, I'm no longer surprised or disappointed, but simply disenchanted. The employees are nice and the food arrives relatively quickly, which isn't surprising, though, when 50% of what you ordered is missing. The food is as you'd expect: bottom-notch fast food.

On July 22nd, at around 10:01 p.m., I simply wanted to order a hot chocolate at McDonald's at Leipzig Central Station. I ended up waiting over 16 minutes before I could leave. The cash register was unmanned for over 10 minutes, even though several customers were waiting in line. When an employee finally came, he was completely unfriendly and seemed half asleep. It took another unnecessarily long time for the hot chocolate. Conclusion: I missed my train because of a drink. And as if that weren't enough: €4.29 for a bottle of water? Sorry, but that's a complete rip-off. For a fast-food restaurant, that's an absolute no-go. Never again from this branch.

Dear Sir or Madam, when I entered the McDonald's at Leipzig train station around 4 p.m. today, I had a good feeling I was about to end the day on a high note. However, when I was given two paper bags and was told to put them in the larger one, which ripped badly and my fries fell out, I was deeply disappointed. And to my horror, I discovered that my beloved apple turnovers were also missing. I'm never going to this McDonald's again. Next time, I'll go to KFC, I know they have a loyal soul and won't sell me out.

The food arrived quickly and the staff was friendly, BUT the food was simply awful. The burger arrived completely squashed, and my medium fries weren't even half full. And as if that wasn't bad enough, everything was still cold...

This was the second time I've waited endlessly because none of the waitresses knew how to make a milkshake. When I finally asked for my money back because my train was coming, they deigned to ask a supervisor how it's done. Truly abysmal.

An absolute highlight of modern urban dining. Once you've overcome your fear of entering the shop, you won't want to leave, as the floor has amazing adhesive properties. After you've more or less received what you wanted, you spend your meal in silent reverence for the countless digestive tracts that are abused here. The visit was perfectly rounded off by a concerned text from my neighbor after I went to the bathroom at home a few hours later. Shoutout to my toilet keys (2012-2025, RIP) and to the poor social media manager.

The food is like everywhere in Mac, the question is more about the service... For two (cola and milkshake) 1 straw, 0 napkins, mixed up the sauce. Stupid glass with cola, from which pieces of ice fall into your mouth. There is nothing to wipe your hands with after washing, no one knows where the toilet is, all the doors are locked, there is no sign anywhere that this is a WC. The hall and the tables were clean, there were few people

They constantly forget to pack the fries. This time, the fries were inside, but my cheeseburger was missing. Since it wasn't busy, I didn't bother to check because the employees were working quietly and it wasn't busy. Never again!

I was there today for lunch. I ordered the MC Smart menu. I didn't get many fries. I wanted to tell the employee, but she ignored me.

I've been here three times this month to order a simple cheeseburger. Cash, of course. I left without eating each time because there was simply no one at the checkout. The employees saw me standing there, but no one responded. It wasn't busy, and there was time to laugh and chat. But unfortunately, there was no time to pay for a cheeseburger. From now on, I'll go to Burger King when I feel like a cheeseburger.

When you urgently need to go to the bathroom and have to buy something just to be allowed to do it...that's inhumane! I wasn't even allowed to use the bathroom for a small fee!

Got McFlurry instead of milkshake

I've been here several times and I've noticed that the service is getting worse and worse. And then the restrooms, they're unacceptable. I told an employee that they needed to be used, but there was no response. The restrooms were so dirty, and you couldn't walk on the floor because it was so sticky. I then told another employee and asked if they weren't ashamed. I found it simply disgusting.

I had a Fanta, a burger, and fries. But the Fanta tasted like lemonade, like it had more ice than Fanta in it. I didn't like that. Everything else was good.

I ordered a meal this morning and waited a long time, but the food never arrived. When I asked the staff, they said they couldn't prepare order 241. I said, "I was able to order and pay through the ordering system—if you can't prepare it, why can I pay at all?" I asked for a refund, but the manager said it wasn't possible and I should write an email! Is that how you treat customers? In the end, they gave me something else and a croissant, but I missed my train because of this!

If you are used to Ukrainian Mac, where everything is fast and always in order, then calm your appetites. It is not like that here. Just accept it. They may not put a napkin. And if they do, then there will be only one for a huge bag. They do everything for a very long time. Are you used to the fact that for waiting at Mac they will give you a voucher for a free drink/cone? This does not happen here. You can wait 30 minutes, and no one will be embarrassed. Yes, check that they put the sauce for you. Well, in general, it is better to immediately check your entire order, at the moment of receiving it

Coffee was quite watery and toilet unpleasant, I disinfected there first

My burger is extremely dry. Asked Management to meke a new one. She said sorry there is nothing I can do for you. I tok one bite out of it. Maybe this will help just bought this as well

I ordered after my boyfriend, got mine later, and it didn't arrive until his was already cold. And that was only because an employee asked us because they were closing soon... and all this while disgusting crackers were hanging around in here... His fries arrived cold... The restrooms? A disaster!! It used to be better here, but these days it's just gotten worse. I'm simply dissatisfied with this juice bar.

What I experienced in this branch was almost unbeatable in terms of customer unfriendliness! I ordered at the terminal and wanted to pay in cash at the counter. After waiting for several minutes and being ignored, I politely asked if someone could come over. The cold answer I got was "Nooo!" I turned around and left. That's just not acceptable to me, and I certainly won't be coming back!

If you eat in, it's okay... the staff are quick, but if you order takeout, it's easy to find that a medium fries, for example, are just a small fries. Sometimes there was no gift for Happy Metal, and the child was sad at home.

Had to wait a whole lot for a simple McSmart Menu order. Almost lost my train. Incredibly slow for a fast food at a main station. The service was rude when telling them when my train left and that I had to catch it. I'd recommend you go somewhere else if you want something quick before leaving.

Would be cool if the fries were hot and fresh instead of cold and soggy... considering you're paying €5 for a pair of fries. 👎

It may be new and sleek, but the table service is beyond reproach. You wait 20 minutes at your table for your food. This is no longer fast food. Long wait times and broken ordering terminals are the order of the day here.

Since the juicer unfortunately took over 20 minutes to make a meager McSmart meal, I couldn't take the order because otherwise I wouldn't have made my train, applause.

What should I say about the atmosphere at McDonald's? 3 stars, I guess? Service was terrible, no one at the checkout for at least 15 minutes. I get it, it's packed, lots of customers, but the staff isn't small either, and they could clearly see the massive line at the checkout. The cashier only came when asked at the pickup area. 1 star. Food is just McDonald's. Cripplingly addictive poison. 4 stars.

Every time something is missing from the order. Either a whole Happy Meal if you order 2, or individual burgers/drinks. And then there is still discussion when you go to the checkout to get your missing stuff. Or a certain toy is offered in the Happy Meal, but then you get something completely different because it's no longer available. That really doesn't work at all.

Unfriendly and most unpleasant branch in Germany

The fries were cold and very salty. The contents of the drink were unclear as it consisted almost entirely of ice cubes. The burgers were also cold and the salad on them was no longer fresh or appealing. The quality of the food was extremely disappointing. Toilets were closed and open and very dirty. What are you actually paying for?

This McDonald’s is pretty similar to other locations. Since it is inside a train station, it can get a bit crowded with travelers. But the staff were all very friendly. They handled even small or annoying requests with a smile. Special thanks to the Korean staff member at the counter — she was super kind!

I ordered an MC Crispy, 9ner Nuggets, an MC Flurry (totally drunk) and two cookies and I didn't even get the cookies and I paid money for them, so not recommended at all.

We came here just for Minecraft toys and asked to put a Creeper in the happy meal. They put something completely different into it. We asked to change it. They shouted at us and took away our toys

I was heavily pregnant there today and felt like I was being bullied when I asked for a container for two drinks. You couldn't directly see what drinks were coming. I ordered something else and got something that was inedible. Even my husband couldn't define what it was. Lunch business or not. But I no longer try to fool customers who want to take something with them. Food was ok
