McDonald's in Kiel

Actually, it used to be one of the best McDonald's branches in Kiel... but it's now really dismantled. Waiting times were far too long - sometimes we waited 45 minutes for the food. And then there were always mistakes when preparing the orders. Sometimes the fries were missing, then the drinks or the BigMac. Really a shame :-(

Anyone who offers a charging option for electric cars or bicycles deserves at least 5 stars!! The food goes like this

You wait in line at the normal checkout for 5 years because everything else is prioritized. I placed my order at the terminal but accidentally pressed “pay at checkout.”

In itself it's okay as a branch, but today - once again - I only received 3 of the 4 items I ordered, which is particularly annoying in the MC Drive. What do you want to do? Disassemble the entire order to see whether all the food ordered is distributed in the car, but in case of doubt, see what is missing or risk someone staying hungry? Both crap, unfortunately not an isolated case...🥴

Customer service is a disaster, me and a friend both ordered the same order at the same time and got it 20 minutes apart. While waiting, another customer was complained by the shift manager that they didn't want to pay by card and said: "If you don't have a card with you these days, it would go much faster, you don't have to wait, you expected." When asked where our order number is on the monitor, we were told that there were too many tickets and they just print everything out. The shift manager also threatened another employee that he wouldn't be able to finish work now because the store was full and that otherwise he would have to close the store, and that he can't do that now, what does he think? You can also say that everyone was very stressed but at the same time super disorganized and unfriendly. And just a reminder, the ladies' conditioner also needs to be repaired.

Unfortunately, we waited a very long time for the food...70 minutes...Staff at the limit...Maybe McDonalds should do without Lieferando and concentrate on the local guests...Luckily my children were patient...Oh, my A drink was also forgotten...But cola at night isn't that good anyway...They thought about it...😅 and a burger was ice cold...Can be done after an hour of course...

Clean restaurant with reliable and fast service. Preparation of the food. The ambience is typical McDonald's and can therefore only be pleasant and relaxed to a limited extent, although it is one of the best I have been able to visit so far. I had to wait 35 minutes for my take-out order early yesterday afternoon. My request as to whether we could get 2 additional toys due to the long waiting time was brusquely rejected. At home we noticed that out of two Happymeal bags only one contained a toy. In 30 years of Mcdonald's experience, this is by far the most chaotic store where an estimated one in three orders went wrong in the past...

We had to wait minutes until we finally received our order after repeated requests, even though the store was almost empty! It's a shame that they don't wear gloves when preparing meals, but as we found out through Google and also through the boss there, it's not compulsory in Germany... We previously ordered 2 menus to take away. The cola didn't have a bit of carbon dioxide, the burgers were only lukewarm and when the son wanted to eat his fries, there was a thread of slime hanging on the fries, as if someone had spit into the container beforehand. One of the worst McDonald's I've experienced in my life. I live nearby and have often fetched something via Mac Drive. For example, out of ten orders, seven orders are incorrect and something is always missing. You always have to look carefully into the bags and rummage around to see if everything is there and when you go back and say something is missing, they look at you stupidly, shrug their shoulders, pack up the missing food and say sorry, nothing more. I think what's going on is beneath all dignity. It was the fifth or sixth time that I had to drive away from home and pick up the missing food. There's no way you can run a restaurant like that, so people always check your bags carefully so you won't be as annoyed as I am now

The store is always full, FROZENYOGUHRT seems to be a unicorn which only exists as a fable because they never have that but it says so.vThe same goes for milkshakes etc. The burgers are peppered on top as if you were trying to play beer pong with them. The number display hasn't worked for a million years, i.e. they just scream through the store (what else can you do) but you can forget about sitting relaxed (yes in a MC Burger). Oh and if you order there you have a 60/40 chance that they will sell your order and you will be missing half of it.

Sat morning, empty shop 3 parts for breakfast takes more 25 minutes. Extremely Not Fast!!! They can do that better elsewhere in Kiel. It's not particularly clean either.

Not recommended. There was only one car in front of me in the McDrive. It took me almost 30 minutes from driving up to driving down the yard. Staff are extremely overwhelmed and barely speak German. Sauces were forgotten and fries weren't salted. Unfortunately there were no napkins either. At least the burgers were fresh and good.

Usually not bad, i mostly get what i pay for except like once... this time I noticed the straw got soggy really fast because i was trying to drink the "iced shake choc oreo" and HALF of the cup is filled with ice cubes (4.69€ btw)... took me 15 seconds to drink

I find it rather sad for the ambience, the staff can't do anything about it but everyone leaves their rubbish lying around and doesn't put it in the existing scales. The service is sometimes friendly and sometimes completely unfriendly. The food is completely okay and you can have some approval. It would be nice if the staff would make sure that if lettuce gets on the citizens, it doesn't all fall down again.

I wouldn't recommend this "restaurant": although there are plenty of free parking spaces in front of the building, the building itself isn't very comfortable. This is because the interior is very spartan. The furniture is quite run down. The tables are simple and without any decoration (no plants/flowers, no tablecloths, no table lighting). The terminals where you can place your order are quite battered and scuffed up. The screens are badly smeared. The table service works quite well. Unfortunately, napkins or wet wipes are all too often forgotten. Overall, it's not very pleasant to eat here.

Hello dear fast food lovers. Unfortunately I don't have any good news, I don't know where to start... The store started off being very busy but it didn't pose any challenge for me. Since the ordering terminal was very full, I decided to order directly at the checkout. After about 5 minutes, one of the few employees who had nothing to do dared to take the order. Unfortunately, the question of whether I wanted to eat here or outside didn't come up, even though I wanted to eat on site. Oh, after about 20 minutes of waiting, I finally received my food in a bag, of course. After waiting politely for a tray, I was unfortunately only given the cold shoulder. End of song cold food... not recommended

SWINE FLU So what can I say. The reviews speak for themselves. Unclean, rude and facilities so-so. One employee shouts through the store: 'The swine flu has broken out here, either I got infected here or... there have even been two deaths' I don't have to say anything more about that.

The McDonald's in Kiel offers typical fast food, is centrally located and offers fast service. So overall a solid option for a quick meal.

So, the 5* refers to McDo quality, but... Best McRib ever - fresh, lots of sauce! Best Filet'o Fish (FishMac) since homemade* - sauce perfectly distributed, cheese in the middle, bun freshly steamed! (Both, no irony really) *and that was over 30 years ago 😉

Catastrophic! An employee with a ring on his finger has no place in the kitchen or preparing food without gloves! When asked about it, the explanation was that it was a wedding ring and that it was allowed in the kitchen! Total nonsense

It must be really hard MC's. Everything according to the school box system especially for not so good people. No matter where, no matter when and how you order. At first they don't want to understand why you're making a complaint and when you understand it, you're looked at terribly. A lot more MC's would have to be checked by test buyers from some companies who are sales managers.
