the most disgusting service. The order was not given in full. They did not put dessert, also the happy meal was not assembled in full, they did not put juice and apple slices. As for the quality of food: french fries were cold and without salt, they did not put sugar in the coffee, the dessert, which was supposed to be hot, was stale and cold. I strongly do not recommend this place

Honestly, everyone there is pretty rude. The food is simple, but waiting in line for 20 minutes almost makes you miss your train. Numbers aren't displayed or are processed in the worst possible way. So, it's almost nothing to do with Ford anymore.

I was able to order quickly and received my order about 6 minutes later. My burger came without onions as requested, but it had far too little sauce, the cheese was dried out, and I only found 1.5 small pieces of pickle. I don't eat at McCain's very often, so I'm not sure, but I'd say the burgers weren't so dry otherwise. The problem, however, was my iced matcha drink. I ordered an extra and only received it after asking for one. I didn't get a straw, and after asking for one twice, I still didn't get one. The worst thing about the drink, however, was the amount of ice cubes. Even after 40 minutes, my cup was still at least a third full. I'd say that at least half of the cup was ice cubes when I bought it. I've had this drink at least once at another location, so I know it doesn't have to contain that many ice cubes. Someone in my family works part-time at McDonald's, and I'm well aware that it's not a great job and the pay is simply ridiculous. I also understand that mistakes can happen quickly, especially in a crowded restaurant. But this time there were only a few orders, and I still felt like I was being ripped off and fobbed off.

The employees are not interested in doing their job. Shameful experience! Not a single one out of the 4 people at work was interested in completing the many orders!

I also have a picture as proof. It's just horrible and disgusting. I will never order anything from there again.

Ordered to eat here. You'd still have to wait in the front. And then they call out your number, which isn't ready. You get up especially for that. Ice cream with Smarties is simply stirred in.

At this McDonald's, every day is truly "Opposite Day." You order hot fries, but they get cold and soggy. "No ice in your drink, please?" Bam, the cup is a glacier. Would you like ketchup? Of course, there's mayo. Or nothing at all. Cleanliness? The tables are stickier than any flypaper. An experience for anyone who's ever wanted to stick to the furniture. In conclusion: Ordering here is like playing the lottery, only you're guaranteed to lose. A dream for anyone who wants to experience disappointment firsthand.

Update: I was here again today. And lo and behold: everything was fine! The store is clean, the staff is friendly, and the delivery of a featured meal was excellent and quick. For the sake of transparency, so I can understand my old text, but of course, I've adjusted the stars. I have to say, McDonald's can be really good, but the branch at Kiel Central Station couldn't care less. I waited over 12 minutes for a simple burger order. The fries had been sitting in the warming container for 10 minutes, and the included glass wasn't provided. Since the staff couldn't speak German, I couldn't articulate my request. There are even better McDonald's branches in Kiel; to be on the safe side, they should take a look at how things are going at Kiel Central Station so they know what not to do.

Careful, like a blind tasting in the dark. The atmosphere? Between "I could have made toast at home" and "Why am I crying over chicken nuggets?" 😢 So thank you, McDonald's, for this involuntary detox day. My stomach may have been empty, but my heart... was full of disappointment. Orders are prepared fairly quickly, which is convenient if you're in a hurry or want to pick up something for the train ride. There are self-checkouts and cameras. However, the cleanliness in the open kitchen and parts of the dining area leaves something to be desired. If you have a few more minutes to spare, you might want to head to the other McDonald's nearby—the experience there is much more pleasant.

Customer service was bad. The lady there is not polite. Had to go back and forth several times to get a catchup. Tables are not clean. looks like they just want you to pay and not deliver the services you deserve.

I placed an order at 10:20 PM and wanted to use the customer restroom... No, it was closed. When I asked an employee, I was directed to the "cooperation partner" Sanifair train station restroom. There, the urge to urinate was up to my neck, as the restroom is closed from 10:00 PM. After I pointed this out to the shift supervisor, he said there was nothing he could do... which didn't really help with my increasing urge to urinate (my pupils were swimming). To top it all off, the order was made incorrectly... Never again... A complaint has been filed with the Trade Inspectorate...🤬

The wrong table sign was issued at the cash register. The system isn't working. One portion of mayonnaise isn't enough for the large portion of fries. The tables should be cleaner. The staff was friendly.

The caramel iced latte tasted of caramel at all and when we asked, we were just told that there was caramel in it but we couldn't taste any of it, so bad service and bad coffee, simply disgusting.

You'd think there are standards regarding cleanliness, but you'd be wrong. The following situation was on Tuesday evening, June 17, 2025: Store almost empty, order placed, so far okay! I'm waiting in front of the counter and see a man walking to the counter. Apparently, he knows employees here or works here himself? Twice, without even covering his nose, he enjoys the full force of the hygiene area where my food will later be placed. No one says what he's laughing at, then goes back to the kitchen and hugs the colleague. Another guest is allowed into the staff restroom. Food - no thanks Cleanliness - dirty, sticky tables Hygienic beyond all dignity Mc Donalds Kiel Hbf - never again Food left lying around and gone. I hope a company hygiene officer reads this!!!

Staff are antisocial and very aggressive. Half of the order is missing. Always make sure you have change. You get lied to and cheated. The fact that something like this calls itself McDonald's is insane, and in Germany

Fries are made in advance and then served cold. After a complaint, a different cold portion was served.

The food only came after 20 minutes (only half) after we asked 5 times it finally came after another 30 minutes (almost everything) there were still two fries, nuggets and a burger missing which however was not on the receipt and the sauce was also missing

The service was absolutely terrible. Of two trays, only one was brought, with the words "the second one is coming soon." We spoke to the staff twice, and an hour has passed, and we haven't received anything else.

Moving the venue to this location was definitely the right decision. Terminals at last! Unfortunately, you're often not allowed to eat in very early, or seating is so limited that you can't eat in.

After asking several times where my order was, I was accused of having already picked it up, even though I showed my receipt. Then they didn't want to hand me my order at first. After much discussion, it was handed over to me but I was still threatened with being banned from the house.

Haven't experienced anything like that in a long time. Waited 15 minutes for my food (small order). Since I had to catch a train and that was becoming scarce, I asked in good time whether I could cancel or how long it would take. The only answer was that I only ordered 15 minutes ago, others have been waiting 30. This is McDonald's and not a normal restaurant. Had to leave without my order and ended up giving it away. I went to McDonald's in Kiel train station today and unfortunately it was a real disappointment. The employees seemed completely overwhelmed and extremely slow - even with a fairly short line, it took forever to get served. What was particularly annoying was that instead of using the numbering system correctly and showing the order numbers clearly on the screen, they were whispered quietly across the room in very bad German. Nobody really knew whether he was meant or not. So there was chaos and unnecessarily long waiting times. Things are going wrong organizationally. Too bad

In order to obtain good statistics when there are too few staff, the order numbers are immediately confirmed as delivered, even though I then had to wait 15 minutes. The numbers that have not been on the screen for a long time are then called out verbally. Hire enough staff and don't cheat your franchisor! As a customer, I am also dissatisfied with the behavior.

Of course mistakes can happen, but then you should correct the mistakes. Store is dead/closed for me.

We ordered a chili cheeseburger, a Big Mac and a Filet-O-Fish from McDonald's and had to wait over 15 minutes even though there was only a single order in front of us. In the kitchen you could see that the employees didn't seem to be in a hurry - instead of working quickly, they stood around, chatting and moving at a pace that was more reminiscent of snail racing than fast food. Meanwhile, there were chips everywhere on the floor, but instead of grabbing a broom or at least working efficiently, people preferred to continue chatting. For a company that advertises speed and efficiency, this was an absolutely disappointing experience.

No toilets Extremely long waiting time I waited 35 minutes for 1 chicken burger and 1 chillie cheeseburger. My order was deleted from the screen and I had to ask for my order again. Chilli Cheeseburger actually tasted bad, especially the sauce. Chicken burger was without lettuce, or 2 small mini strips, which fell out when the paper was opened.

The new McDonald’s has finally bloomed. No longer the small box with limited offerings and no longer the run-down restaurant opposite the cinema. No, the golden seagull shines in new splendor above the Rewe. More space, fast and friendly staff, 6 digital ordering terminals and 2 independent counters. The spacious room layout allows for a pleasant wait for a connection. The quality of the food is the usual, lukewarm burger, wrapped up so that you get spilled on it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Absolutely great McDonald's. I might have been able to handle the half slice of cheese on the Filet-O-Fish at home, but not the missing wrap.

Die Pommes gibs Kalt , Toiletten für besucher nicht vorhanden und Sitzmöglichkeiten vor lauter bestell Computer kaum möglich . Erinnert eher an ein kleines lokal was schlecht gewirtschaftet wird als an ein grosskonzern wie MCDonalds .

I've been to MCs many times and every time something has been forgotten in my order, and the prices have risen so much in the last few years that I still have the feeling that the more expensive it gets, the worse it tastes. The staff is different everywhere, but most of them are on the unfriendly side.

This restaurant gets my award for the slowest fast food restaurant in the world. There are additional prizes for the unfriendly service and the worst products that McD has to offer! The only reason this place makes sales and doesn't go bankrupt is because they're at the train station and there's no alternative other than a (very good) kebab restaurant. Unfortunately, I also “have to” come here again and again for exactly this reason and every single visit leaves me disappointed in one way or another.

What times were those when you could place your order in person and take it with you immediately after paying? It was great, I was there often and enjoyed it. Now, after ordering, you wait at the column for minutes for 2 burgers that you want to quickly buy on the way to the train. McDoof will never see me again! SHAME!
