McDonald's in Kiel

It was really quick for a McDonald's in the city, but the toilet was so dirty. Absolutely disgusting :( But you can't complain about the food.

No!!!! When we were sitting next door, the trash can was overflowing. Because there was a storm on the Baltic Sea, all the gulls were in Kiel. They were being fed. Because of the trash, there was real stress and fighting between predatory gulls and real gulls.

A pretty good McDonald's. Clean and friendly. And right in the city center.

I brought a cold kebab and refused to change it when asked. There were also flies in the restaurant, making it impossible to eat, and flies were getting into the food. Furthermore, there was a dirty table.

WOW - you can't invent such a terrible burger, I thought. A written review is unnecessary because the pictures clearly demonstrate the abysmal quality. This burger manages to massively destroy culinary dignity, visual appeal, and any form of enjoyment in a single bite. The inconspicuous rectangle in the photo? That's supposed to be the cheese. In any case, everything was as delicious as it looks. This burger deserves all of our pity and is hopefully just an oversight.

The service could be friendlier

The bench is very comfortable to lie on, but my girlfriend was pissed off after the visit because she met her ex. She's now my ex, too.

I got the impression that it's a popular place, yet it wasn't overcrowded. The food arrived quickly. And when time permits, they even take care of the place, wiping and sweeping tables. The staff is friendly.

Food was excellent. Fries were hot and fresh. My kids were pleasantly surprised that they still have the Grimmace shake here. It was so good! Bathrooms were pretty dirty. Other than that it was great.

Why they'd give a choice between a most casual salad and fries — nvm, just me being dumb. The service was, however, not friendly at all. My order was ready, I came to grab, and the cashier ignored me straight for a few minutes until the order was actually delivered.

A nice restaurant in itself, but a huge minus for the restrooms. One of the toilet seats was loose, and there was no smell of urine, which was disgusting when you want to eat afterward.

The "waiter" preferred to talk to the people in the kitchen instead of taking my money (she saw me standing there, mind you). She stood there for 10 minutes and nothing happened, so I left the store and had a better meal somewhere else.

Compared to the past, it was a smaller McDonald's, but the service was very quick. It's really nice that you can now sit outside by the water when the weather is nice and eat your food.

The toilets are the absolute most disgusting thing I've ever experienced. I'd rather have a motorway toilet.

I come here occasionally with a classmate and enjoy eating there. There's enough space for everyone inside and outside. The staff is also very friendly and charming. The seating is all comfortable, and you can have a good conversation even when there are so many people.

Wait 17 minutes for some pancakes. Because of the alleged power outage, no hot drinks, coffee, etc. for breakfast. Men's toilet doors broken. This shop should be closed

I cannot recommend this McDonald's. The food I ordered at the kiosk wasn't available. I only got my money back reluctantly. Then the restroom 🤮 The door opener was dirty and covered in grime. Then the toilet itself. Absolutely filthy. It was 1 p.m. The dirt certainly wasn't from earlier that morning. Never again.

The food is delicious as always. I loved eating here as a child. Unfortunately, the ambience has not been as nice since the last renovation. The service was better, but the new employees can't smile or talk. It's good that there are still a few "old people" there. We often eat here when we're in the mood for a delicious burger.

The service is fast since you have to place the order with the screens and if you prefer to pay in cash you just go to the counter, then they bring the order to the table.

That's not possible, not only that the ordering system doesn't work properly, the receipts were thrown out, but they were probably not the right receipts, so everything had to be done again at the counter, at least and thank you very much with the help of a friendly employee. Otherwise...sorry...the situation is difficult, no question, but that's not possible, sticky floor, shoes stuck, dirty sticky tables and chairs, you reach under the chair to push yourself to the table and bam , so off to the washroom... dirty, sticky floor, broken toilet seat, no toilet paper, no paper towels to dry hands, nothing, even the door handle was sticky, so wash your hands again, in the meantime the food was on the table, lukewarm, everywhere There is rubbish lying around, the storage trolley is full, no wonder the tablets are left on the tables... no thanks, I haven't been there for a long time, I won't go there again.

Very nice staff. Order is placed and then you are served at the table. Runs well. Food is again at every other McDonald's. Prices have already increased quite a bit.

Normal nice McDonalds. On a Saturday afternoon it might be busier than usual and therefore a bit of a wait. But everything was great. Correct order, reasonable service and tidy store.

Really bad. It felt like the beef still had to be raised and processed for my burger. Despite ordering online, you have to wait forever because they only do it when you're there and say beforehand that you're there because of location tracking. I want a quick meal, not a good warm one! If I want to eat well, I don't go to Mecces. Employees are uncoordinated, overwhelmed and forget orders. Thanks for nothing.

As always, the burger was served cold and I didn't feel like complaining about it as this is already standard at McDonald's. I only went there because of my son, it's just too expensive for what you get. As a tip, get the burgers out of the trash can, they aren't any colder, they're enough to make you poop. Totally normal Macces. Staff was a bit overwhelmed. Food marked as ready for pickup, but not ready yet. Very loud because it's close to the outlet.

Ordered Cola Zero because I'm diabetic. When I got Cola, the employee pointed it out and he was totally rude because they have to order correctly and I showed the cashier the receipt that said Zero on it. He just said, everything tastes the same and that's not a bad thing, so I was there last time and Dear diabetics, please be careful whether you also get sugar-free drinks

Food cold dry and the fries are a joke. Ordered a large portion and had a small amount of bacon burger without bacon. Just sad, all special students there. Unfortunately we only saw it too late because we ate out of the house

Somehow not as cool when I was there. A lot of trash and dirt in the store and in front of it. Yes, of course that also depends on the guests. I was ashamed of our society. We stopped by today with the family, my daughter left her gray jacket on one of the chairs near the self-service machines while we ate some ice cream. The jacket was stolen. My child has been in tears for two hours, it was her favorite tracksuit. The employees saw nothing and know nothing. It's very annoying.

Dirty, dirtier, McDonald's in Kiel... After the grievances were announced to the staff several times, nothing was done. Toilets absolutely filthy, three out of four cabins are unusable, the fourth was politely rejected. In the photo you can see why... Employees don't seem to have any desire to work, nobody feels responsible.

By far the dirtiest branch I have ever visited. We, a family of three, usually visit a fast food shop when we're on vacation. The outdoor area in Kiel is beautiful, the rest is dirty. The floor was so sticky that I put all my shoes in the washing machine when I got home. The rolling container for the empty trays was sooo full that everything was stacked on top and there was still a lot underneath. At some point a lady took pity on emptying the container. She left everything that had fallen wrong 🙄🤢 without words! The tables were stuck, even the flies were stuck. We were there around 7 p.m. and it wasn't particularly busy, so you could have easily cleaned it. My chicken burger had lettuce everywhere but not between the buns. We were all served after the visit, my daughter was so disgusted that she went home with herpes. This branch is without words!!! 🤢🤢🤢

Another bad experience. Table service wasn't even offered, the children's play area was out of order, and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Having to wait 20 minutes for a fast food meal is a contradiction in terms. It wasn't particularly busy, the staff is just slow and seems overwhelmed. All the workers looking at you like you are just a piece of trash. It’s just stupid how bad the McDonalds over here is. You should change all the workers you got and teach the new ones properly.
