McDonald's in Kiel

Ambiance is terrible and can only be tolerated when drunk or on MC-drive. I will never leave the receipt behind because I only got two cheeseburgers instead of two double cheeses. Such rags who work there!

We ordered vegan nuggets and got normal ones. When we asked an employee about it, we were told that they were simply in a different box and would not be exchanged. However, my friend (omnivore) and I (vegetarian for 10 years, at least to date) agreed that it was definitely meat. In addition, an apple turnover was forgotten and they just said that it would take a little longer (bs). When we noticed that the sundae (unlike what was ordered) couldn't be vegan (the only vegan option was chocolate ice cream, I got vanilla) we didn't even bother with it. All in all, something like this can of course happen, but the extent to which it is handled and how it is dealt with is questionable, especially if you actually have allergies or intolerances and are not “just” avoiding it out of conviction. By the way, there were no straws, but that was probably the smallest problem.

Drive in here is unfortunately repeatedly disappointing. Today I received completely different things than what I ordered and only noticed them when I got home. The photo shows a “Double Royal TS”. Unfortunately I can't take a photo of the missing large fries and instead of regular nuggets there were "spicy nuggets". Really annoying and way too expensive.

Slowly very slowly wrong food output! Just not that good. I wish things get better.😉

BOTTOMLESS IMPACT! We were at McDonald's on March 6, 2025 and waited for our food. An employee thought that we weren't picking up our food and then insulted us. Huge impudence!

I was there on the evening of February 5, 2025 and was called a Toni Kroos a**hole. I had order number 150 and number 135 was called. When my colleague number 136 picked up his order, the employee told him that the Toni Kroos a**hole should finally pick up his order because the store is closing. Then when I picked up my order at the counter I was called Toni again. Make up your own mind about the situation - I think the whole thing turned out very unfortunate.

Food received quickly as usual, unfortunately it was also quick to see when I unpacked the food. It tasted as usual 👍🏻

Where should you start? We waited almost 25 minutes for our food - how can an order get lost despite electronics and personal requests? Various mistakes were made even though we ordered via the app. For example, there were only 5 nuggets in the box instead of 6. The cheeseburger without sauces was completely normal, the Happy Meal toy was wrong...oh yeah, instead of orange juice we got apple juice. I think they had the opposite day today -.-

Customer service a disaster!!! Ordered online beforehand and picked up. The Big Mac was missing from the order. I then called the restaurant and was treated very unfriendly. "It would be my job to check the order." "I should contact the service office, I can google the number." In short: DISASTER

Unfortunately no napkins were received. The roll from Big Morning was totally dry, the McToasts were also older and sparsely topped... They were also stuck to the packaging. I waited quite a long time for the “old stuff”. I found out that things are much better in Hamburg!

This store is a disaster. Empty hardly any customers and no staff there to order. Standing in the corner doing nothing and talking loudly about private matters. We ended up having to order at the terminal, even though we said we wanted to order at the checkout, we got the answer right away, after 10 minutes there was still no one there. So we had to order at the terminal. It took forever for the food to be ready, so it was better and quicker. To top it off, the toilets were dirty, no paper, nothing really square. The dining area, unfortunately, wasn't any better. There was dirt on the floor and where the mopping was done it was soaking wet, so much so that you almost slipped. Never again. Not recommended.

I've never been treated so badly. I got everything to go even though I wanted to eat in the restaurant. The waitress said I couldn't eat in the restaurant. The food was cold. Sucks... honestly true...

Unfortunately the order wasn't complete and the burger and fries weren't even lukewarm, the nice service person completed the order immediately. The food is very McDonalds like! The service is just bad, half of them are always forgotten and then they become really unfriendly when you ask for the things! We would like to say that the ambience of every ToiToi/Dixi toilet is more great! From the entrance to the toilet it was just dirty! It certainly won't look any different in the kitchen! This is now the third time that things were forgotten when ordering a McDrive. Is there a concept behind it? that was the last time. refrain from doing so in the future.

Very friendly staff and fast delivery

Unfortunately, the McDonald’s restaurant I visited was anything but inviting. The tables were dirty, the floor was sticky, and there was an unpleasant smell near the trash area. The toilets were also in an unhygienic condition. It seemed like cleaning wasn't done regularly. Although the food tasted as usual, the cleanliness significantly spoiled the overall impression. I would really like to see more emphasis on hygiene here.

I received a cold portion of fries and complained about them, but they wouldn't make me a new one. So unfortunately I had to order and pay for a new one - and even it was cold again. The employee was a southern guy with a backwards cap and a slight beard.

Everything in the store was dirty and there was rubbish on the tables. Ordered to eat here and received everything in a bag, some with incorrect contents. Burgers carelessly wrapped and topped in a completely chaotic manner. No need to repeat. Staff rather unfriendly.

There was a lot going on due to the Cros concert on December 15th, 2024, but they still did a great job! The orders were often wrong, but it was solved quickly :). We even got a free order because of the wait and the errors. Super dear workers! <3, Even though some people were unfriendly, I thought it was great! I will be here more often

Disaster... there was a bit more going on and the employees were extremely overwhelmed. The burger slide overflowed, the packaging was already opening... Order numbers were no longer displayed and no one was called. I then simply went to the front and firmly insisted on my order. The orders were then processed, whoever came forward... Burgers were quite dry, lukewarm and quite bland. If an older person was sitting there with a grandchild or granddaughter, they would still be sitting there at five in the morning waiting. Sad...for me it was McDonalds for the last time. Then it's better to pay half at the kebab shop and get twice as much.

Well-connected McDonald's branch with drive-thru. Ordering via the touchscreen annoys me a bit. I prefer to order from a person in person. Additional plus: there is a gas station and a car wash right next to it on the same site!

That was really really bad. There were three of us, with different orders. Although it took a really long time, the food was not only almost cold but also tasted bad. The toilets 🚽 were the most disgusting thing we've seen in a long time.

The store is clean and the employees are friendly. But I understand less and less how McDonald's can still exist.. in general the food tastes like nothing, 90% of all surrounding restaurants offer better quality and taste, and at least 80% are also cheaper.. I would like to share my dissatisfied experience with the four McFlurries I recently ordered. Unfortunately, the quality of the products did not meet the expectations I have of a well-known brand like McDonald's. The McFlurries tasted more like flavored ice cubes rather than the creamy dairy ice cream I'm used to. It was really disappointing as I was looking forward to a delicious and refreshing treat. Instead, the consistency and taste was anything but satisfactory. Furthermore, the amount of ice in the cups was extremely small. When I asked the staff about it, I was told that they had already put in more ice than usual anyway. However, this statement is difficult to understand since the ice cream didn't even cover my entire pinky in the cup. It felt like I was paying more for the packaging than the contents. Given this experience, I feel compelled to give a negative review. I hope that this feedback will help improve the quality of the products in the future so that other customers do not have to experience the same disappointment. It would be desirable for McDonald's to review its standards to ensure that products meet customer expectations. At least the places were reasonably clean🥰

The restaurant was dirty, the staff was unfriendly and the food was really poor when I ordered an MC Flurry I expect it to be at least half full and no empty excuses will help, plus it was already melted when I got it and my burgers looked like the staff had played Frisbee with them, never again.

Unfortunately it's getting dirtier and dirtier there, tables etc should be wiped down, ideally with a clean cloth. There are also only two trolleys for the trays, which are always full to the point where they can't be used anymore. Most of the time you don't even get the whole order and it takes forever until you get your food. Cheeseburgers and the like have less and less sauce and are carelessly slapped on top of each other. It didn't used to be like that

No matter when and at what time, the wrong food is always served. But this seems to be a serious and widespread problem. The rolls look shabby and thin, most of the time the rolls are crooked or wrongly packaged... it's dirty, sticky chairs and tables... baaahhh why I have to do this to myself all the time to always have the same experience it's not worth it. It doesn't even taste good, not even the Coke!!!! Aaah even the aforementioned toys for the kids are packaged incorrectly despite pointing and pointing fingers at them. The staff looks bored and also likes to throw citizens into the bags as if it were a basketball.

Twice I put the wrong food in the bag because the product I ordered was sold out...without any notice I just gave it different food.

The store and surrounding area is clean and kept tidy. The food ordering process is well implemented so that you are served quickly. The staff was very friendly.

They don't know anything like a broom there, and there doesn't seem to be a rag to wipe the table with. The latte (coffee) is not a latte but a milk coffee. We were there in the morning, there was hardly any activity, something was missing from both our order and our neighboring table. The employees only have to process one piece of paper. Ordered two Big Macs, discovered when unpacking them at home that they weren't completely filled!!!! For the price it's a disgrace.

Extremely impersonal customer service without any friendliness, waiting time too long, incomplete and cold food at prices that are now significantly too high. Burger pressed together very carelessly and incorrectly. It was good that the necessary complaint about incompleteness was handled without any major problems. However, dealing with tax law is problematic. Although I ate in the restaurant, to maximize profits, takeaway was automatically charged, i.e. 7% VAT. Actually there is nice seating and nice outdoor spaces. Unfortunately nothing is cleaned. There is no longer any provision for waste separation. At least in this branch, which is certainly very profitable, it would be time for official intervention.

The entire store is just dirty and unkempt. The terrace is constantly full of rubbish, the chairs are broken and the tables are dirty. The staff would rather sit around and smoke than clean the place. The one 2 years ago was significantly better. A shame!!!

They are fast and the branch is clean. The Caesar salad is always fresh. However, the acoustics are terrible in all branches. Beep, beep, beep, peeeep, peeeep, pip, beep...etc.

I ordered the McSmart menu and was really looking forward to my fries. I thought to myself “just a medium fries, two burgers and a Coke Zero for €6, you can’t really go wrong with that, right”. Then I had to wait 10 minutes for 4 things. Then I get home and my wife complains again because she had to wait too long. Great, at least eat some big fries now. I look in the bag… no fries! I'm super mad. I would have liked to go back and pull down my pants in the house. But well, then I had to take the dog out. Super duper. Never again!

I went to this McDonald's with my best friend again after years. Let's start with... Ambiance: floor dirty, tables sticky and smeared. The Citizens Cardboard, hardly any mustard or ketchup on it. And lukewarm...And rather sticky. Probably done too much and the next person gets the trash!!! My McRib's were carelessly slapped in. Both Cola's are way too watery. Hardly any cola. When you consider that it costs money, you feel pretty ripped off. It didn't taste good. I really hope that there will be consequences. I will complain to McDonald's Germany. I can't include my email address here, sorry!
