McDonald's in Kassel

On Sunday evening I felt like fast food 🍟 and didn't feel like cooking anymore and you should eat something once a day. So I grabbed something to eat at McDonald's. Since Monday morning I've had stomach aches and the like. Is that probably due to the food? 🤔 I think for sure! So I went to McDonalds first for myself.

Food not as ordered, no table service, no breakfast and “to eat here” is generally not served on a tray, but also in a bag to take away.

Ordered menu, comb at home and fries are missing. Husband paid and got little what kind of service. Now I should go there twice because of McDonald's mistake. It's better to get a kebab. Everything McDonald's

I placed an order worth approximately €92 this evening (November 27th, 2024), but it was incomplete. If it's difficult to read an order on a receipt or on a monitor, find another job. I wasn't the only one who had problems with the order. Completely disappointing. I don't recommend this place.

Not everything is always the same... The staff (who don't speak German) make a real effort, but when the crowds increase, trained staff should be there. It's not nice for everyone involved to see the semi-skilled staff frantically running back and forth looking for solutions.

I ordered in the drive. Two burgers were missing. Found in drive and replaced. At home while eating I noticed that the patty was missing from a burger. Something was always missing from 4 of the last 5 orders in the drive (each time I received a replacement because this branch taught me to always check my orders).

Rarely have we experienced such overwhelmed staff in a fast food chain. Language problems, lots of errors, sometimes long waiting times... Unfortunately, complaints were also handled in an unfriendly manner.

Absolutely unfriendly staff, machines apparently don't work at night, had to wait 10 minutes to order even though I was the only one, food was okay

You advertise that you are open 24 hours - Thursday at 3:00 a.m. we were at the drive-thru and were told “we are closed”. 👎🏼

Food okay (Mecces just ate). The cleanliness in the McDonald's is terrible. Tables totally dirty, floor dirty and there are 6 pieces of chewing gum in the squat toilet in the men's toilet... I wonder when the last time this was cleaned was

It was on the way, so I ordered it and checked immediately upon receipt to see whether the order was complete. Of course not, a burger was missing. No apologies or anything like that. The biggest disappointment, however, was my McRib. The sauce used to be everywhere, but today you won't find it. No longer enjoyable, dry and no comparison to what you used to get. Not worth the money here.

That's supposed to be a McRib??? The thing costs €5.89!!!!🤦‍♂️ Dear Göttingen team, there can be no question of price-performance here. There is no achievement here. This is not what I paid for. How can you even release something like that? I hope you can get this under control, but I can't figure it out anymore...

Please make more for children or make it entirely

Nothing further needs to be said about McDonald's. We go there occasionally and appreciate the standard.

The employees were very quick. I ordered locally around 2 p.m. The drive-in was well attended and the restaurant was also quite full. The burgers were really hot and had everything on them. I didn't pay attention to the cleanliness of the dining area because I took the order with me. The toilets were clean!

You order double mayonnaise and you don't get it, you complain about it and are called a liar in a very unfriendly manner. Only after checking it did she realize that it was her mistake then she said yes, I said it would always be 60 cents so she became really rude and claim to have apologized, which defensively wasn't the case. Apparently, because of my non-Muslim beliefs, I don't deserve to be treated with respect

Ordered 2 cheeseburgers without pickles, they were declared that way. But unfortunately both cheeseburgers had a cucumber on them.

I don't even know where to start... When we ordered, neither cola nor still water nor iced tea were available. When the order finally came after 30 minutes, I was brought a Sprite instead of Fanta without asking because Fanta was out. The sauces were also missing. Then I went up to the counter (on crutches) to ask about it. The floor in front of the entrance to the kitchen was so greasy that my crutches slipped. Luckily I was able to catch myself. The staff didn't care much. After that, they just put up a “Beware of slippery” sign, but nothing changed. During the meal we wondered why so many people had bottles around them. Apparently you can get all drinks in bottles (25ct deposit) if you choose reusable cups (cost 2 euros) when ordering. The fact that I have never eaten such stale plant-based nuggets was the smallest problem. It's really a shame that you lose an hour on a long car journey in the evening for a stop like this instead of just half an hour like at any other branch and then drive on so dissatisfied. :( Oh yes, display boards for order numbers that are being processed or finished are not used either.

Today I ate in Kassel and it was great. The food was very hot and the staff were very friendly

Mc Crispy was way too dry. The flesh was deader than dead! Sure, I could have exchanged it, but the food is just too good for me to throw away! In the future, just be careful not to style your hair for too long. After crispy comes hard... Otherwise everything was as usual. We cleaned the table ourselves beforehand, so we could have been a little more late!

The restaurant is very busy. Nevertheless, the staff is always friendly and nice. respect

+ The choice of food is really large: I'm not a vegetarian, but I still enjoy the cappuccino with oat milk or the vegan chicken nuggets. - It could also be due to the somewhat unusual choice of food, but 20 minutes of waiting time is a bit much. - Biggest deduction point: Using coupons via the app often doesn't work on the terminal on the first try. In the past, it was much easier with only numbered vouchers.

Edit after the owner's answer: We ordered via the app. We were unable to answer a question about the order due to the language barrier. The tables were dirty and some of the food was cold, despite the long wait.

Mc Donalds with McDrive, terminals for ordering or classic at the checkout. Seating options both inside and outside. It is very loud outside due to the main street next to it and overall a bit uncomfortable. The restaurant is generally clean.

Super nice staff, fast service, fries and special fries were super fresh... The boss seems to have changed...

Almost all of the drinks and some of the food were sold out, then the delivery came to the table with an eye-rolling appearance, unpleasant.

I repeatedly had the wrong sauce on it!! I changed it at the terminal when ordering and pay extra for it and then it doesn't get done! (I can't tolerate the honey mustard sauce!) And when you're home and you're the last citizen, you don't feel like driving again! I'm curious to see if there will be a little concession the next time I bring it up. And everyone is very overwhelmed. 1 burger was missing, which I addressed straight away.

The staff is difficult to understand through the drive-thru and the staff doesn't listen to you.

Order via Lieferando, forgot fries twice, no answer on the phone, clarification via Lieferando takes forever. Too bad, not good service. Food very cold upon arrival!

So if you're in the mood for food poisoning, go here. We were there recently with a friend and the next day we were dirtier than ever, almost as dirty as the tables and benches in this restaurant. It would also be cool if the employees showed some manners and didn't constantly stare at the girls

So far ok, toilet a bit unclean and parts broken.

MC typical standard, employees seem overwhelmed, toys were forgotten, unfortunately noticed too late, display board didn't really work. I'll put it this way, if it weren't for the youngsters, I wouldn't really buy anything at McDonalds.

It's really fascinating how people who have such a monotonous and simple job still can't manage to put the right sauce in the bag. You'd think it couldn't be too difficult to process an order correctly, but apparently even that's asking too much. The staff appear to be lazy and clearly lack the ability to read simple instructions. A really disappointing experience that unfortunately just shows how little value is placed on customer service here.

Unfortunately I have to correct my rating. During the most recent visit only half of the order was delivered. There was no cutlery for the salad. There were no napkins at all. Tables were dirty. Men's toilets dirty. Staff didn't speak German. Fries cold. Salad tarnished. Apple pieces rotten.

This McDonald's is definitely not recommended. The toilets are completely dirty and the faucet is no longer properly attached. The guest room was completely dirty and I don't have any pictures of it. After visiting the toilet I had already forgotten it. It's better not to stop there.

It was delicious, but the staff looked and acted very unmotivated. The music played here is too loud that you can hardly understand your own words. The toilets are not clean at all, everything sticks to the floor. It just looks disgusting on the walls by the sink. I have no idea when the last time this was properly wiped down.

Food was all good. Unmotivated staff who almost wipe the customers' feet with a mop. You have to ask a question three times before you get a decent answer. The service leaves a lot to be desired.

The ice machine seems to be broken or being cleaned more often than it is in use. This is very disappointing because you look forward to a delicious ice cream sundae after your meal. In this case, please provide a second machine or optimize the cleaning plans.

You order a burger without cheese and pack it at home, surprised it has cheese. Or the sachet of ketchup is missing In the high season you can often hear the saying “ice is out”. Wanted to order cheeseburger with extra pickles. We were told that wouldn't work. Then we ordered 2 more cheeseburgers to eat down the pickles. Instead of the classic 2 gherkins, they only added one. Bad service!!!!

There's nothing to complain about about the food. It's just McDonald's. Unfortunately, the rooms are very unkempt. Tables stick and are often not cleaned. The floor looks just as sticky, dusty and dirty. The staff often don't understand what you're saying to them. Also often very unfriendly. Better to take the food with you!

I ordered a McMuffin with egg and got it without, after asking the staff if my McMaffin with egg without egg looked like that😂. They said I ordered one. The coffee spoon is dirty and has not been washed

Disaster! Waited half an hour for breakfast even though it wasn't busy! Food also very carelessly topped, there is frying fat stuck to the breakfast roll, simply disgusting! Staff also rather rude and incompetent, an order every 5 minutes when it comes up! Orders were forgotten by other guests!

I recommend it to anyone who likes it. They are not so nice everywhere, but unfortunately there is no chocolate ice cream, as in many others.

Ice cream machine is ALWAYS broken!!! Tried 3 times in the last 2 weeks - broken every time. Others have also complained about this here and they claim that there are no known downtimes. Aha?? Then why don't you ever have ice cream? Update 04/2024 Ice cream maker is still broken hahaha

Extremely long waiting time. We came at 3:45 p.m. and ordered. A few people got there before us, but they had only been standing here for a few minutes (not half an hour like us). After these few orders came before us, after waiting half an hour we were told that the food had been forgotten somewhere in the counter. ATTENTION intellectual allergy sufferers! I think the employees have to dance their name or probably count to 3 as a requirement for the job... what could be so difficult about reading a piece of paper? Again there were ingredients in the dishes that I expressly didn't want. You get something unhealthy once a month and almost every time the order is wrong. I'm beginning to suspect that people there can count their IQ on one hand... but nothing is being done about it. Despite the tons of negative reviews here. Having to throw 10€ of 30€ of purchases in the trash because of the intolerance. Thanks for nothing!

For me, this is a particularly well-run McDonald's restaurant. You can get your food quickly both in the restaurant and in McDrive. The cleanliness is good, including in the sanitary area. The staff is friendly even when there is a lot of crowd. I like being here.
