McDonald's in Mönchengladbach

Many thanks to the night shift team from December 7th to 8th. Our company cafeteria was closed, and we needed food quickly. The team produced 500 burgers in 40 minutes, were very friendly, and even helped us load them. Excellent service!

I'm furious! I didn't order much, and then only half of it arrived – absolutely outrageous! Four cheeseburgers and one six-piece nugget pack – how could they forget that? It was clearly deliberate. If you can't do your job, you shouldn't be doing it!

At the drive-thru, it took 5 minutes to get a call for 1 fries and 1 drink, and another 7 minutes to get the fries and drink. The fries were without ice, the drink was without ice, and the change was dropped between the counter and the car when returning the food. No napkins or mayo, even though they were requested when ordering. Employee training is needed.

The food was delivered promptly. The burger was fine, but unfortunately, the fries were very limp, though warm, so they should have been fine. I also ordered apple pie, but neither the apple pie nor the warm chocolate/cherry apple pie arrived immediately, meaning they weren't freshly baked and the dough was tough. This, too, was warm, perhaps due to heat lamps, but unfortunately, it wasn't fresh. I'll choose a different one next time.

Unfortunately, I have to give at least one star, otherwise I wouldn't give any at all. It was dirty, items were missing from my order, and the staff were extremely rude and reacted irritably when I politely pointed out the missing items.

Despite complaining, we received two cold burgers after being told they were freshly made, and yet they were still cold every time 🤮🤮🤮 They'll never see us again.

I had to wait 45 minutes for my food because the computer messed up. I had to explain what was going on to four different employees. It was really annoying. The food was fine, just like it always is at McDonald's, but it was a real shame.

The service was great, the driver was super nice. Unfortunately, two Cokes were missing, and instead of 20 chicken nuggets, there were only 18. Ketchup was missing, and my Big Mac was completely fallen apart in the bag; the box had apparently opened. What a shame!

Looking for a McDonald's for a quick lunch stop while passing through, I was surprised by the terrible reviews all the McDonald's restaurants have. I've never had a reason to leave a negative review before, so I just went for it. It's right off the highway, with good parking (don't forget your parking disc, just to be safe). The restaurant itself is a decent, clean, and modern McDonald's. The food arrived in a flash and looked very fresh and good. The taste was great too – it was one of my best McDonald's experiences. 👍🏻 Based on our visit on a Monday at 1 p.m., I can't understand the bad reviews. I'd gladly go again if I'm passing through. ☺️

I think the food is the same in all branches. It's been renovated beautifully and in a modern style. However, I think it's a shame that the children don't have any outside activities.

Food was okay, but staff was unfriendly. The food came with insects.

My Lieferando order wasn't complete. Ordered large fries, but they were barely filled (about 50% full) and weren't cooked through. Tried to contact me by phone, but couldn't reach anyone; they just hung up. Not recommended!!!!!

Currently, the evening staff at the checkout area are terrible, unable to handle stressful situations during peak times and blatantly lying to guests. This has been particularly noticeable since the renovation.

I tried the drive-thru parking lot today, purely out of curiosity. What can I say? I waited 15 minutes for my food, and the fries weren't even fresh. The regular drive-thru wasn't particularly busy. Personally, I can't recommend this option.

First of all, we were not served in the drive-in with our bikes, well, that's not surprising, but we had to wait 20 minutes for our 4 cheeseburgers and it took forever until we could pay, really not suitable if you're pressed for time

We arrived very early and were the only guests, so everything was clean and quick.

They forgot about me. I waited an hour for my food and received no compensation.

Worst mac ever! We wait a hour for our food, it was flavorless, they don' listen to our feedback and they forget our food!

What can I say!!! McDonald's is simply top-notch in terms of quality and service!

I'm incredibly disappointed. As usual, Sprite is just water because they apparently ran out of syrup and nobody cares. Large fries are sometimes 30% underfilled (example today: 110g compared to the promised 160g). I'm now going straight to the consumer advice center because unfortunately, no one there answers the phone to clarify the matter. Everything was documented with photos. I tried 10 samples spread over the entire year. Not a single packet of fries came anywhere close to the promised weight. Massive fraud!

My son and I just wanted a quick bite to eat on the way home and were shocked. Absolutely not the McDonald's feeling you're used to. Everything was clean, no noise, no idiots, everything in an extremely tidy condition. What a scandal! Almost all branches could learn something from this; we'll be happy to come back 😉

As with every McDonald's, you take your food with you, but unfortunately the qualified employees don't manage to pack the right sauces.

Sorry, €24 for forgetting a parking disc even though you ate at your place is NOT okay.

A clean, modern, renovated McDonald's with ample parking and even two drive-thru lanes that can be served simultaneously—very convenient. The downside, however, is that there are no more seats for waiting customers. You have to wait standing, right next to the tables where others are eating—an unfortunate solution. Furthermore, the exit door leads directly onto the street, where cars leave the parking lot. This is a poor solution and especially dangerous for children. Otherwise, a good location.

Something always gets forgotten when ordering. How can they check this on-site when the bag is full? Are they unable to process an order? It's getting more and more expensive, and then things get embezzled...

A few things were missing when I picked up, and I had to wait 10 minutes because I had to re-enter the line (I went straight to the pickup station and was irritated and asked to pay). Cold nuggets and a hair in the burger. First and last time there.

Came here at 10:31 and didn't get breakfast. Ridiculous... If the expert had worked faster, this wouldn't have happened.

Ordered at the drive-thru counter. That in itself was a disaster. The numeric code that had been generated beforehand with the app was invalid. They couldn't understand us properly at the drive-thru counter. The background noise was too loud. It took forever until we were finally allowed to go to the first counter to clarify our order. After paying, we got two bags and a tray of drinks at the second counter. By now the whole thing has caused quite a backlog. When we got home, we realized that one bag had the wrong contents. Paid €40 for something we didn't order. Keep it up, McDonald's. Next time, if there ever is a next time, I'll unpack everything carefully and check every single box to make sure the right thing is in it.

Since the renovation it has been going downhill, the employees can hardly speak German, you have to use your hands and feet to get along and half of the food is always missing and after 1 hour we had the entire meal, that is not acceptable at all

We went to the drive-thru, and despite the huge rush, everything went very quickly. The food was fresh, and everything was perfect.

Best McDonalds in a very long time. I got my menu within 3 minutes. I was able to take a milkshake without additional costs. It's possible to switch your drink with another side. They spoke perfectly English and it's cheaper than my home country. Just amazing. Very satisfied.

The new drive-thru causes long wait times, as both ordering terminals are operated by one person. Plus, there's a huge back-up behind them. I have no idea who came up with that. However, I'll only come during off-peak hours. If at all.

It works without a voucher, maybe you don't know the value of it, although there is nothing on it that says that you can only get it at the McDonald's and

I couldn't write anything bad. Everything is clean, tidy and delicious as always. The staff is friendly in the morning and smiling.

We ordered takeout for three people yesterday. Thank goodness we checked the order. Three items that we had ordered and already paid for were missing. Unfortunately, when I pointed this out, none of the employees understood me. By the time the supervisor came and I resolved the issue, the rest of the order was already cold. Why do they hire people who don't speak German? Problems like this are inevitable. We definitely won't be back.

The food was just like any McDonald's, it tastes good but it's way too salty. The staff was very friendly, and gave us extra fries when they messed up our orders. Inside it really stank like cigarettes and piss, so we had to sit outside because of that smell.

I waited 30 minutes and the food still wasn't there. The steakhouse served the food faster. I went to KFC across the street and the food arrived in 2 minutes!!!!!

The fries were cold, the entire order was crammed onto a single tray, and there were no straws or napkins. One of the worst McDonald's experiences in years.

Incredibly bad service. If you order a milkshake and only get sweet milk twice in a row (the second time with sprinkles), something's wrong. And apparently, they're out of reusable cups; the restaurant has whole stacks of them on the shelves (presumably they just don't feel like washing the cups). Honestly, I'd rather go to the Subway next door next time.

Unfortunately, it's not uncommon for parts of your order to be missing at the McDrive. Be sure to check everything before driving on!

Makes the best bacon and egg muffins. Unfortunately, the staff seemed overwhelmed this time. It took over 15 minutes from ordering to receiving the food. The coffee, however, was made immediately and sat there the whole time. After I asked, it was remade, but accompanied by various comments.

I was just there. I ordered two cheeseburgers and a small Sprite. They initially wanted to pack me something with fries. The waiter repeated my order and then packed me two chicken burgers. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until later 🤮 If I could, I'd give it 0 stars.

Waited less than 5 minutes even though it was busy

Another McDonald's and another disappointment. The service was okay, but the food was terrible. Everything was cold. My child's nuggets were cold and old. Served quickly, but cold. We pay so much and still get crap for so much money.

The new renovation hasn't improved things. The wait is very long.

We had food delivered. The driver left so quickly that we didn't even have a chance to check that everything was there in his presence. While unpacking, we realized that one Chicken Big Mac and two 0.5L Cokes were missing from the menu. McDonald's couldn't be reached by phone, so my husband had to get in the car and drive to the branch. The employee was extremely unfriendly, downright rude, and initially refused to hand over the missing items, commenting, "I can't even check whether what you're saying is true!" Even my husband's suggestion that the drivers should wait at least one minute to check for completeness was ignored by the lady, who simply replied, "We have no control over that because the drivers are from outside." After endless back and forth, the missing items were finally handed over, with the lady saying, "You get the items now and then leave. You're too loud." This lady definitely has no idea about empathy, customer-oriented fair dealing, or friendliness. Any recognition of the faulty handling and packaging was simply in vain. Other people would probably be intimidated by such behavior and leave without accomplishing anything. Things can go wrong, no doubt. But then, as a restaurant or its employees, you have to take ownership and resolve the matter reasonably, not essentially portray the complaining customer as a troublemaker or scrounger. This was definitely the last time we ordered or ate there.

Fast, really super fast, 3 minutes, just as I ordered. That's how fast food works.

Highly recommended. Dogs are also allowed. I'm deducting one star for the ambiance because the terrace is very close to the busy street. However, that's the case with many McDonald's.

I ordered my meal and requested table service. My meal was delivered by a well mannered and professional young man, willing to be of any further assistance. I was impressed.

The Mc Chicken was soggy, the bun was soggy, the fries were undercooked, limp and still very slightly yellow and we got the ice cream somewhere else, the choice here was disappointing

The level of unfriendliness is unmatched. The technology that is available is not being used. The first time, no receipt comes out of the terminal. You stand at the counter with nothing in your hand and you have to ask an employee what's wrong with your food and what my number is. The staff does nothing to insert a new roll of paper into the terminal. Today, the culmination of the incident. I ordered food at the terminal and paid with a card. I got a receipt, my number is on the counter, and the food is being prepared. Then the food is ready for pickup. But the food isn't ready. When I asked, I was told in a more than unfriendly manner that the food is ready when you're called. When I asked again why the available technology wasn't being used, I was told even more unfriendly that complaining is useless; it's just the way it is. When my food was finally ready, 10 minutes after my number was no longer on the screen, and I asked again why it was happening, the next employee reprimanded me in a more than unfriendly manner and told me I could complain. If that's how you treat your customers, I say goodnight. Personally, I'll never go to that McDonald's again. Almost €30 for four burgers, so I'd rather go to a restaurant in the future.

MY DAUGHTER'S FAVORITE TRIP DESTINATION

We ate there for the first time today after the renovations, and I have to say that McDonald's looks really good now. The terminals work perfectly and everything was clean. The food came quickly and everything was clean. What I also like is that there are two counters at the McDrive, so you can understand the employees very well. I also like that there are reserved parking spaces for people who have ordered via the app. A McDonald's of the future that other branches could learn a thing or two from. 👍👍👍

The employees are very rude! It would be our fault if we pre-ordered online and McDonald's then made a mistake. I paid for fries and didn't receive them, and the employee refused to give me the fries despite having proof of order. When I complained, she replied that I didn't need to come back. Anyone who employs such staff shouldn't be surprised that McDonald's is losing customers. If the store management reads my review and wants to take action against the staff's behavior, I'm happy to help.

The driveway at the drive-in restaurant has been expanded to 2. Result, it's quicker but the food is no longer fresh because it is prepared and warmed up to do everything quickly. Nuggets were warmed up and the cheeseburgers were cold.

Was there yesterday for the first time after the renovation. People sit chatting like chickens on a perch in the store. It's very loud. The employees try the best but everything is very stressed and from behind you can hear the boss scolding the employees. You wait a long time to eat. I don't find it pleasant to eat there because the stress reflects back on the customers, which unfortunately the employees have. I waited 10 minutes for my food and during that time there were a few complaints because the wrong food was served.

Totally overwhelmed employee who then becomes unfriendly (the gentleman with the headset). Press on the monitors that the order is ready so that they cheat on the system... and you are then harshly approached and told to keep the areas clear, and when you ask why it says at the top that the order is ready for pickup, they say the system is new, the same monitors that have been used at Mcdonalds for years...

it's just McDonald. System as usual. you can't complain. Great connection in any case. especially because KFC and Subway are within walking distance.

Been there three times, three times at least one item ordered at the Drive Inn was missing, which was paid for according to the invoice but wasn't in the bags. It says you should check the completeness of the order immediately, but when there are already 5 cars waiting behind you, you always trust that everything should be there and then you are disappointed every time you get home. That's underground because packing a bag isn't rocket science. Plus, it adds up over time and it's usually not the cheap things that are missing, but the expensive burgers. Never again McDonald's Wickrath.

I didn't think I would rate a Macces, but here and now I had no other choice. There was a woman on site with a “crew training” t-shirt and this person made us feel so well taken care of, it just had to be mentioned. She felt omnipresent without being intrusive; as soon as a brief question mark appeared on her face, she was there as if she could smell it. Mega friendly and peace personified. Today Macces was a star restaurant in terms of service. Thank you for that

Today I just got hamburgers like McDonald grew up. Just no cheek, small, hardly any meat in it, you won't see me ripping off again.

After the reopening, we were able to look at and test the new business for the first time today. After ordering we had to wait 15 minutes and received no status after we asked. The goods were all lined up on the side counter, but nothing was served because the beverage representative also carried out table service. The food was cold and not at all attractive. The front round lamp to the parking lot was full of dead flies and there was no handle on the men's toilet. Washing your hands was therefore unnecessary.

We picked up food here last weekend. The branch looks well maintained after the renovation. The employee who served us didn't even say hello. The food was disastrous. My salad was rotten, there was a quarter of a cucumber salad cut into two parts, totally dried out. Not even our guinea pigs touched it. My burger looked exactly the same and I've had problems with my stomach ever since. That was the last time I ate something

If you want to eat something from McDonald's and be served by absolutely unfriendly, completely overwhelmed people, and in a location that is worlds worse than before, then you've come to the right place. They said we should wait in the waiting area. When asked where it was because it wasn't signposted, a young woman said 2 meters back. Then you stand in front of the toilets, but what the heck. Food was ok, cold as usual, fries warmed up, but that's standard, but I definitely won't go into the store again. Everything is very narrow and impersonal. The store was worlds better before.

One of the few branches where it tastes relatively good. However, staff should be friendlier and we don't need to talk about prices, they are far too high everywhere. Unfortunately they are often very dirty.

I have never in my life given a review on Google but this time I had to do it. Staff, rude disrespectful to customers, food cold and not fresh. Although the restaurant is completely empty. The employees don't know hygiene either. Tables all dirty, where you want to sit down, all full of leftover food I had my food returned and took the money back. Simply outrageous. Sorry to mention this, but very disappointing.

I've never had such a bad, almost corner-sized Mcripp before. Unfortunately I was under deadline pressure, otherwise I would have driven back and thrown it at their feet.
