The Burger King on Duvenstraße in Mönchengladbach is truly awful. The first thing we noticed was that all the exterior lights were off. The staff was completely overwhelmed and unable to process the orders, so a crowd had already formed at the checkout. On top of that, three out of four order displays weren't working, and after we had already entered everything, we and several other people had to go to the cashier and order everything again. It also took forever for the food to arrive. We also had to complain about five items because something was missing or made incorrectly. As a result, I had to eat half of my food cold. And my girlfriend's Whopper was simply opened up again and cheese was added because it was missing. (See photo) Furthermore, all the tables were dirty, as was the floor. The table where we wanted to sit reeked of urine! One star is far too much, but unfortunately you can't give less!

Typical franchise. I probably don't need to upload any pictures here; anyone who eats here will likely be familiar with the relatively consistent quality, which I personally find quite tasty. However, one characteristic of this branch is that there's categorically no soap available for handwashing every time. I've gotten used to that, though. Today, to top it all off, there was also no pepper to season my food, which really bothered me. But there was an endless supply of salt. When I asked, I couldn't get any information about whether or when it would be replenished.

Worst branch, by far. Burgers were cold. Drive-thru monitor broken (estimated for the past three years). Employees were overwhelmed. Extremely long wait times. The opposite of fast food. Today, four years after my last visit to this branch, nothing has changed. It feels like it's only getting worse. We waited 25 minutes (at the drive-thru) for two junior bags, a small meal, and a couple of cheeseburgers. There was no one else in front of me. At the end, the toys and an apple juice were missing. A complete disaster.

Pure disappointment – never again Burger King here! We ordered milkshakes here and were truly speechless when we received them: The cups were only a fraction full (see photo). When we asked about it, the only answer was, "That's just the system" – so apparently that's normal? 🤨 No refills, no concessions, no apologies – they just resold us as if everything was fine. Getting so little for full price honestly doesn't feel like an oversight. If a "system" treats customers like this, then something is fundamentally wrong. No matter how you twist and turn it, anyone who orders here doesn't get what they pay for. And everyone should know that before spending their money here. 👎

Burger King. I really can't say it's the worst Burger King I've ever eaten and ordered from. Delivery 0/10. The store is empty in the evenings. It takes over two hours for delivery, then the food is still cold and things are missing. I live nearby, maybe two kilometers away. The burgers aren't as good as the chicken nuggets. The burgers are good, but fries are fine. I'd rather eat a doner kebab than deal with the unfriendly staff.

When we got to the drive-thru ordering window, we were told that the card payment machine was apparently not working and only cash payments were possible. The change was simply rounded up – without any question or receipt. This approach not only strikes me as extremely unprofessional, but also gives the impression that the billing is not correct. In my opinion, this raises questions about proper accounting and possible tax irregularities. In addition, our order was delivered incomplete – ketchup and mayonnaise, which we specifically ordered, were simply forgotten. For a company of your size and standards, this is disappointing. I don't understand why people work there who have no experience and don't even care. The lady who worked there with these gloves touched her glasses every now and then and that is impossible and the gloves weren't changed. I think it's outrageous that the drink piss was warm and not even cold, it's an outrage. I would never pick up or take food from you again. As I said, there was a burger missing at number 830. Unbelievable, they keep changing staff because they have no experience and can't read and I waited over 20 minutes. Also unbelievable. I've never seen that before.

Today is May 13, 2025, at 8:00 PM. After waiting 5 minutes at the drive-thru, the employee asks me what I want. I give him the menu, and he says, "Please wait a moment." After waiting 15 minutes, and now there are 5 cars waiting behind me, I hear a honk from behind. Two minutes later, the cars disappear one after another. I, who's still standing there after 25 minutes, also honk twice. And walk away. Outrageous! I wouldn't be surprised if the store closes soon. I went to McS, and my order was ready in a minute. Best

I was there yesterday to grab something quick to eat. 20 minutes later the order still wasn't ready. The burger had been there for 15 minutes. When I asked how long it would take, the employee barked at me that I could see that he was moving and that I should wait, he was alone. With all my love, I understand when there's a lot to do and you're understaffed (I've worked there myself). But I won't tolerate being bullied like that. Apart from the fact that my burger shouldn't even have been sold after the amount of time it was lying there. When I wanted to speak to the shift leader, the employee became rude again and the shift leader wasn't interested at all. He didn't say anything and threw my money in my hand when I said I would like to cancel. It's an absolute disgrace to treat customers like that. So this branch is really a disaster! Not only is the food regularly cold (even in the store), when you drive through the DiveIn, things are missing. And not just things like mayo or something, but big expensive burgers. How can this even happen?! Normal restaurants are faster. This is not a fast food restaurant. You also have to wait a long time at the drive-in. Beginners, take a look at McDonald's and KFC! Absolutely not recommended!!! It's so dirty here, it's really disgusting. We were here on Saturday lunchtime. The dirt can't have come from half a day, which means it hasn't been cleaned in a while. The floor is stained and sticky, there are stains/splashes of an indefinable white liquid on the table and chair legs. The tables are dirty and obviously not wiped down between meals. Soap and disinfectant were missing in the women's toilet. One toilet was full, the other was leaking water and the toilet paper cover was on the floor. You actually have to inform the health department.

After four years, I visited this branch again yesterday, March 22nd, and... Nothing has changed, it's only gotten worse. Everything was covered in dirt, the garbage trucks were full. The kitchen equipment is terrible, and many things are broken. Get a different Burger King!! I've been to your store, located at 15273 in Mönchengladbach-Rheydt, four times in the last seven weeks. I mostly visited this branch on weekends between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Two of my visits followed the following pattern and ended the same way. Due to the current coronavirus situation, only the drive-thru was open. When I arrived, there were only three vehicles there, so the service was quick. As I approached the order booth, a gruff voice asked for my order. Once I had placed my order, I drove to counter two as instructed. Here, I wanted to add another item to my order, but this was only possible with great resistance. After waiting for 7 minutes on the hard shoulder, my order was handed to my car without comment. When I asked where the kids' drinks were, I was told they were all included. Upon arriving home (a 5-minute drive), the perfect disaster unfolded. All the dishes, including the burger and fries, were cold—not just a little bit, but completely cold. The orders were incomplete. There were no drinks for the kids (Fruit Tiger was simply replaced with Coke even though Fruit Tiger was available), no fries, no mayo and ketchup, and no tomatoes or lettuce on the burger. Instead of the nuggets I ordered, the Happy Meal contained a cheeseburger and nuggets. It just didn't fit! Furthermore, the following deficiencies were noted during my visit: - The display under the order counter at the drive-thru was visibly broken (for an extended period of time). - The employees were unfriendly, harsh, and clearly overwhelmed by the situation at counter two. - In addition, the employees' behavior was unprofessional. - Payments with Payback or collecting points were unfortunately not possible at this branch, despite extensive advertising. - The prepared food in no way meets the quality standards of SCHLOSS BURGER GmbH.

Sorry guys, but you definitely need to come up with something when it comes to your customer processing. I'm really not quick to complain, but you regularly have to stand with your legs in your stomach and tires in your car, both in the store and in the drive. Everything takes time, I understand that. But unfortunately what's going on with you is really over the top. Update: the new crew seems to be making an effort. However, it still takes a damn long time. It seems like the store is simply understocked. Unfortunately, the quality of the burgers has deteriorated a lot... I think I'll avoid this location for now. I've been there many times because the nearest Burger King is very far... But unfortunately, with small exceptions, it's always disappointing, which in my opinion is due to the tense staff situation (sometimes there were only 1-2 people there, even at "peak times"!) It's simply unrealistic to get your food in a timely manner and at the same time have a clean restaurant...it is often very full or overcrowded at the tray drop-off point. During mosque times the parking lot is regularly full, which is something you should keep in mind if you come by car... I was really surprised that everything was full but there were only two guests in the restaurant! However, when it comes to food, an effort is usually made - it was rarely something that was poorly put together or "cold".

It's really terrible and simply disgusting what they're doing!!! Went there again today and they wanted to sell us meat as vegetarian. Unfortunately, we only noticed this when we got home because we had food to take away. This isn't the first time. Next time the authorities will be informed!

We will not visit this store again. The first time we were given the wrong order at the drive-thru. The second time a card payment was not possible. The third time, the intercom at the drive-in apparently didn't work. In any case, the young man didn't hear us, but we heard him. The employees fall asleep standing up at the pace they work, there are hardly any customers and you still wait almost 20 minutes for your food. This isn't our first time coming here, but every time we've had problems with the service. Something is constantly forgotten, and this isn't the first, the second, or even the third time. Today, an entire €12.99 meal wasn't given to us. After my boyfriend complained, about ten minutes later, a completely "lost" employee came out, wandering slowly between the tables, apparently unaware of who the order belonged to. He eventually brought our order to other guests. Even though the girls said it wasn't theirs, he simply left the food with them and walked away. When I asked him if it was our order, he took the food the others had already unwrapped and touched and brought it to us without even apologizing. Additionally, two sauces were missing, but I didn't say anything else, afraid they'd mess something up again. I understand that the employees here might not be enthusiastic about their work, but a minimum level of attention and respect for customers should be a given. My boyfriend and I have decided to avoid this location in the future and instead drive a little further to McDonald's in another city, because we've never experienced such poor service.
