McDonald's in Mönchengladbach

Well, I have to agree with the previous reviewers' bad reviews. The place is dirty, the floor is sticky. We waited 27 minutes for our food. Neither the Big Mac nor the Royal Thai were warm; only the fries were good. I won't be going back.

Friendly staff. The food quality was good. Restrooms, tables, and outdoor areas were well-maintained.

Disgusting. I would never eat here again. The floor is sticky, the tables are dirty, and there's trash everywhere. The kitchen is also incredibly dirty. When I asked a member of staff about it, I got a rude response. She then told them to just sit downstairs. We waited half an hour for the food, by the way.

Poorly prepared Big Macs and totally chaotic conditions behind the counter. There were probably 10-12 employees running around. A lot of cooks spoil the broth, is all I'm saying. Was there around 3 p.m., maybe there was a shift change 🤷🏻‍♀️ If not, way too many people in that area. The lady who served me was friendly, even though she was totally stressed. Was there again today (February 22, 2025) with the children...... Mega unfriendly and you don't feel like a customer, but more like a nuisance.

Even one star is too many. From there I got something to eat for my service. A few hours later I was in the hospital with food poisoning. That showed me no more MC’s!!! I wouldn't leave a cent there.

According to the internet, this McDonald's is open until 1am. However, if you order something at 10:30 p.m. and wait 20 minutes, you will be lovingly informed that the branch will be closing in a few minutes and that you should please leave the restaurant.

Unfortunately, you have to control everything. Even the burger individualization, because the staff apparently can't read and instead of the double ingredient they paid for, they leave out this ingredient entirely.

You save wherever you can! So we were there today. To be fair, I have to write that it was very crowded. So we ordered and went up the stairs, on the way an MC employee came flying towards us, she had visibly hurt herself, which she didn't notice, she hit my son on the head with the table number when he fell. I felt very sorry for both of them. Our food came, there were fries in the soda (1 tablet instead of 2), unfortunately there were no toys in both Happy Meals, so my son went back down, explained it and got the missing toys straight away. It can happen too!! Bite into the chicken burger, no sauce. 🥴 Went back down and got a new burger without any problems. Unfortunately, our fries weren't really hot from the start, so cold fries🙈 The kids wanted some ice cream, perfect would like a milk shake. Vanilla with chocolate sauce (+0.40€), which of course wasn't in it... The chocolate sauce. I think we would have received another new item, but honestly we didn't feel like it anymore. 🙊

So disgustingly dirty, I don't understand how a shop like that can sell food 🤮

Dirty, greasy and above all nothing to do with FAST

When you drive to McDonald's and/or McDrive, you assume it's fast food. But there is absolutely no question of that here. I'm well aware that there's more to do on a Saturday evening, but if I stand in the drive-thru for 40(!!!) minutes, then the concept here is completely out of the question. If I hadn't ordered via the app, I would have turned around - so unfortunately I was "forced" to wait for an incredibly long time. Food was then also thrown into the packaging, as if the burgers had been thrown in from five meters. Luckily I have wet wipes in the car, because if you touched the burger box your hands were so full of grease it was like I had bathed in the oil tank.

Staff, as always, unfriendly because you don't order at the terminal. They immediately said it would take much longer, even though it was pre-ordered online. And then I stood in the drive and waited for another 15 minutes. By far the worst Mc I know

The fast food restaurant is a disaster. Waited 20 minutes for the food and then it was cold. After the complaint it wasn't really any better. The whole restaurant was dirty and greasy. The staff has a range of motion of a meatball. Everyone is completely overwhelmed, uncoordinated and unfriendly. You can see that the team is having fun while working (irony off). I waited a full 15 minutes from the time I ordered to eat just for the fries to be cold and the fries to be half warm. Wow fast food restaurant was different.

Unfortunately one star is still too many for this branch! I waited over 20 minutes for a menu and two individual burgers. The number is called to adhere to the times, but then you just keep waiting. The employees seemed very unmotivated, no one knew what the other was doing, everyone was sneaking around each other, but there was more than enough time for long conversations with the Lieferando driver, these customers must have received ice-cold food. The women's toilets were also unacceptable - torn toilet lids and dirty floors were the picture that greeted you when you entered the room! IT was by far the worst branch I've ever seen!!

Mc Drive drove 3 Bicmac 1 Burger., paid and drove to the window. The store was empty and I waited for what felt like 10 minutes. The workers were having fun with each other as I could see. And the bag in his hand was mine, which he just held on to during the small talk. And stupid customer can wait……. When we got home we noticed that the burgers were cold and didn't line up properly... I had a bad experience with the branch a few months ago... Won't happen again

Not just that 25 minutes! Waited for three burgers, it was very dirty everywhere in the entire restaurant. Burgers that were complained about by customers were returned to the serving!! Except for one nice young woman, the staff was very annoyed.

So my nuggets were missing, so when they told me to pick them up myself or I'll get them next time, that's the only thing you can do now. Instead I had a burger that I hadn't ordered. Where I then saw that on my Royal TS!!!! The tomatoes were missing and my mood was completely down. The guy who's missing the burger can get it from me, maybe he'll have my tomatoes too. So then I'd rather let people complain about the wait than screw up entire orders over and over again. You don't even have to be an expert to pack an order of 5 things correctly and come up with a burger recipe! Seriously people. At least the ice cream maker is working.

I order 2 cappuccini. I want these drinks in cups to be sustainable. I get the cappuccini served in paper cups. I complain about the order and get an answer. "I do not care" Why I got 12 paper napkins with the drinks was also a mystery to me. Conclusion: the employee is unsuitable!

Food is just McDonald. You like it or you don't. What I don't like about this mc is that you stand in the mc drive for the longest time. But maybe we were unlucky.

Sorry, that wasn't possible today! We went in specifically to order it so that it would be warm or hot. At the beginning everything was good until your order was almost ready, the things were lying around for ages and the fries and the potatoes were ice cold and the burgers were only lukewarm. You don't expect too much when you have warm food, right?! The staff doesn't really seem to care, well maybe you should think about it.

Sie parken auf dem hauseigenen Parkplatz, gehen in das Restaurant und im gleichen Moment springt jemand, der sie zuvor beobachtet hat, aus einem Auto, rennt zu ihrem Fshrzeug und verpasst ihnen eine 24.- Euro Zahlungsaufforderung weil sie keine Parkscheibe im Fenster haben. Sie kommen nach genau 5 Minuten zurück und haben das Ticket. Obwohl man dort 90 Minuten stehen darf und die Parkplatzaufsichtsfachkraft genau gesehen hat wie sie ins Lokal gegangen sind. Mit Worten kaum zu beschreiben. Vielleicht trifft es „ Asozial“ ziemlich gut….

I am absolutely disappointed with my last visit to McDonald's. We ordered via the machine and paid by card. After an incredible 40 minutes of waiting, we finally got our food - but without the iced coffee we ordered. None of the employees informed us that the machine was broken. We only found out when we received the order. To make matters worse, we were then told that we couldn't get any money back because we had paid by card. Instead we got a McFlurry worth €3, even though the iced coffee cost €5. This behavior is completely unacceptable and shows poor customer service. I will definitely not recommend this location and will avoid it in the future.

Food, well, was soft and not nice to look at. The service seemed listless, and the store looked accordingly. No table was clean and you could eat off the floor, there was so much lying around.

McDonald's is McDonald's and basically only differs in tiny ways. Here we liked the slightly more challenging playground, the really freshly made food and the service staff, who were friendly and humorous.

A good modern McDonald's. Despite the large number of visitors, the waiting time was reasonably short. Otherwise, the taste and price are like any McDonald's.

We had to wait three quarters of an hour for our food even though there was no one at the drive-thru and there was no line, which I find to be outrageous.

Things are forgotten, burgers are not filled correctly, food is served cold, unfriendly staff and a dirty shop.

Could be clean, the tables are cleaned too rarely. Toilet sticks to the floor every time. And the service/preparation also takes a little longer.

Unfortunately, the third time something is missing... with larger orders you think you can't check everything on the counter and in the future the bag will be completely emptied again... just an outrage. Just ate there again today. Menus were all cold, including fries. Burgers were literally thrown into the box and everything shifted. Hopefully this was just a one-time exception, I've always enjoyed eating there.

Service was subpar, the order receipt at the counter was gone and the food was only prepared upon request.

I wonder how it can be that when you place your order in the app, enter everything correctly there and everything is listed correctly on the receipt, it is simply not possible for the employees in that branch to issue a correct order even once. It's always the case that something is missing. I just don't understand it. Today the glass is missing and unfortunately I didn't notice it because I was busy checking the menus. Ordered at the drive-thru order with personalized burgers. Don't pay extras just get standard burgers. Apple pockets and currently raspberry pockets. Will probably be relabeled. Cool sticker had until 1840. 1830 ready only lukewarm. Or the stickers are completely missing. It's a shame the food used to be good.

I am very dissatisfied. This is the second time it's happened to me that the personalized burger wasn't topped correctly. Paid extra charge for double topping, unfortunately only realized too late that both burgers were correctly declared but the double meat was missing. The same thing happened to me last Saturday, you could almost think the system was behind it.

It wasn't until we had placed our order and wanted to sit down that we realized what a mess we had ended up in. If we had noticed it beforehand, we would have left again. Only when we complained did they try to put things in order. We will never enter this store again.

Pure disaster. I ordered 5 small things including Mc Flurry and a squeeze water ice cream. I saw how the employee prepared it. First he did the MC Flurry. For the other things (2 apple turnovers and coffee) I have a whopping 25!!!!! Waited for minutes (the employee preferred to fill up the milk in the coffee machine. When it said the order was ready, I realized that my son's water ice cream was missing from my manageable order. The answer was I know and the employee gave it a water to drink. After repeated times he understood and gave me the ice cream. When we sat down at the table, we realized that the mc flurry was also a frozen yoghurt to the counter and the employee probably didn't understand it again. A pure catastrophe that cost me my nerves and 30 minutes of my life just to get a correct order.

If I order something, I would just like to have what I ordered. Every time I order something from this McDonald's the service staff are rude and forget half of it and then complain when you point it out to them. Also, if you forgot half of the ingredients on a citizen, I don't understand how that works either. All in all, just a bad store.

With visitor kids at McD.,Krefelder Straße. The hamburgers we ordered were served lukewarm. Various tables dirty, leftover food on the table and floor. You don't want to sit down there. The outside area was also unkempt. Found space for 5 people on the upper floor. The service is not particularly friendly, even a “bon appetit” is asking too much. I would like to share my experience at your McDonald's drive-thru. Yesterday around midnight on the way home I drove to the drive and even though it wasn't busy, I still had to wait about 10-15 minutes for my order, which consisted of 4 cheeseburgers and fries. I paid the full amount, but a burger was missing from my order and the food was lukewarm. Despite the long waiting time and relatively little activity, the employees couldn't manage to serve hot and complete food. Unfortunately, since I had three sleeping children in the car, I wasn't able to queue again or get out to complain about the missing burger. It would be nice if such inconveniences could be avoided in the future. At the other branch in the city on Rharacker, which is a hell of a business, something like this has never happened to me in 20 years.

The condition of this branch is extremely questionable, a very dirty branch, sticky floor and tables. French fries leftovers and packaging residue flying everywhere under the tables. Simply disgusting. As for the quality of service: the waiting time is a complete disaster. Regardless of the order, it takes at least 40 minutes. I don't have unreasonable expectations from McDonald's as it is not a restaurant, but a 40 minute wait is not normal, especially if this is not the first time. It seems as if the employees are simply overwhelmed and can't get anything done.

Ordered from mcdrive today, noticed at home that something was missing. Drove back, the problem was explained and I was treated very well and the missing product was replaced. Super friendly thank you
