This isn't our first time coming here, but every time we've had problems with the service. Something is constantly forgotten, and this isn't the first, the second, or even the third time. Today, an entire €12.99 meal wasn't given to us. After my boyfriend complained, about ten minutes later, a completely "lost" employee came out, wandering slowly between the tables, apparently unaware of who the order belonged to. He eventually brought our order to other guests. Even though the girls said it wasn't theirs, he simply left the food with them and walked away. When I asked him if it was our order, he took the food the others had already unwrapped and touched and brought it to us without even apologizing. Additionally, two sauces were missing, but I didn't say anything else, afraid they'd mess something up again. I understand that the employees here might not be enthusiastic about their work, but a minimum level of attention and respect for customers should be a given. My boyfriend and I have decided to avoid this location in the future and instead drive a little further to McDonald's in another city, because we've never experienced such poor service.

McDonald's offers ample parking, a drive-thru, and seating for guests waiting for their food. You can eat inside, outside under covered, sheltered areas, or completely outdoors. There's also a small slide for children, making it a particularly family-friendly visit. The staff is friendly, and the food is prepared quickly—all in all, a pleasant visit with delicious food.

Since remodeling its stores, McDonald's has changed its drink syrup. Now you can't enjoy Coca-Cola, Fanta, or Sprite anymore. It just tastes cheap. The Mac & Cheese sauce isn't the same anymore and doesn't taste as good. My conclusion: I won't go there anymore.

2025. September 7th, ≈10:30 am I was waiting there a bit long, I came with app order. The counter person (Indian looking women) is super impolite, I'm sure she said my number 126, but I checked the order it's not mine then she said why you said it's yours. Then she called 126, gave me the order for 226, then said impatiently isn't that your order. She doesn't even close my coffee cover, just put the cover on the dirty counter. in the end said super ironic "thank you for your order." It really ruined my Sunday. :( September 7, 2025, ≈10:30 AM I waited a bit long there. I came with a pre-order. The person at the counter (an Indian-looking woman) was super rude. I'm sure she said my number, 126, but I checked the order and it wasn't mine. Then she asked, "Why did you say it was yours?" Then she called out 126, gave me the order for 226, and then impatiently said, "Isn't that your order?" She didn't even close my coffee lid, but simply placed it on the dirty counter. Nice after the renovation. Unfortunately, many items are forgotten to be packed when ordering. Fries are always cold and count like rubber. Ice cream and drinks are prepared immediately upon ordering, so it melts and the drinks warm up.

I witnessed an incident today. A man wanted to pick out some food from the cart where the guests' trays of leftover food are set aside. He was aggressively yelled at by an employee and thrown out. A girl then approached the employee and asked what the problem was with him picking something out, since it would end up in the trash. But no, the three employees ended up defending the food cart and coldly kicking the man out. The girl also had to leave the store because she had defended the man because he was simply looking for something to eat. (No one was insulted or anything.) There were three of us there, we also left after this incident, and we won't be coming back. I haven't experienced such disrespect in a long time. 0 stars for the character of your employees.

I love McDonald's! 😍 The selection of burgers, fries, and snacks is huge, and everything tastes absolutely delicious. The restaurants are mostly clean, the staff is friendly, and ordering is quick—perfect when you're short on time. The drink selection is also great, and the Happy Meals are really fun for kids. One small drawback: ordering isn't always perfect. In some places, you can't order at all, and sometimes deliveries are missing something. But it doesn't bother me much, because the quality and taste make up for everything. McDonald's is always a highlight for me, whether for a quick lunch, dinner, or just a snack. I highly recommend it!

Hello everyone. Unfortunately, McDonald's wasn't that great. During the holidays, there were meter-long lines outside, long waits for the food, and forty-five minutes at the table, and unfortunately, the food was already cold. The same problem at the drive-thru as so often. The self-service machines also had long lines before you finally got to your table. So much has changed since the renovations; it's not as nice as it used to be, unfortunately. I wouldn't want to go there as often anymore. Maybe only when necessary. Best wishes to you all.

After a (pointless?) renovation, the space is poorly laid out and there's no waiting area; it seems to be a desired new image in the surrounding area as well. The system is constantly being manipulated; orders are simply booked out and disappear. Eventually, you get something, but it's late and the order is incorrect. Things are missing, or you get a "half" burger for more than three times the price of what was delivered.

The food is no different than at other McDonald's. The service, however, leaves a lot to be desired: We ate there, and once again, something was forgotten in our order. I don't understand how they can't manage to get the order to the table correctly when it's written in bold on the order slip. A mayo was missing, a burger, and both drinks were simply not brought to the table; we were practically missing half the order!! This has happened before, and we were brought a regular Big Mac instead of the Chicken Big Mac. When we asked for a new one, no one came to our table again until we went inside after a 10-minute wait and were asked to pick up the burger ourselves... Lack of communication and constantly making mistakes, which is very annoying in the long run. Hence only 1 star.

Can I recommend this place? Definitely not. The parking lot is far too large compared to the number of seats available in the restaurant. It's packed, the noise level is infernal, and even if you do get a seat (which I strongly advise against), there's no separation from the person sitting next to you. People are happily jumping over tables and chairs, of course not just the one currently occupied by their extended family. The staff has very limited German and is hopelessly overwhelmed. You stand at the checkout counter and call out a number in a thin voice to the crowd. Not the one on the slip of paper, which is the order number, but any number. I had number 202, recognized the menu I'd ordered, and so went to the front. The person who was called out was "neununneune." The Sprite I ordered was Coke, and the burgers were cold. As we left the scene of horror, we saw a KFC right next door. We'll try there next time. It can't be worse.

Things like sauces for nuggets or fries are missing, and it can be really frustrating. These "half-finished" things can seriously spoil the overall impression, especially when you're looking forward to your meal. It might be helpful to pass this feedback directly to McDonald's customer service so they can work on their quality and service. Have you had positive experiences, or was that more the norm? Well, you usually have to be careful. There are people who come from a little further, and in the end, things are missing. So it's a real shame. You have to pay more attention. You have the confidence that everything is there and you get home. In the end, things are missing. A very poor rating.

Since the renovations, it's been an absolute disaster. The staff are completely overwhelmed. We were shocked last night to see the amount of rubbish that had accumulated on the tables outside. Nothing had been cleared away. Of course, the customers who just leave their rubbish lying around instead of taking it out are a problem, but the staff don't seem to care. Maybe they're just understaffed. The new seating arrangements are also rather suboptimal. The food at the counter could be better protected from customers. In any case, I don't see any real improvement after the renovations.

My experience... Every second order was incomplete. Orders through Lieferando, which stated 30-50 minutes, actually took 100. Orders in person often take 20-30 minutes. They claim there's no coffee, but everyone drinks it, and if you speak to another employee, they suddenly serve coffee. It's annoying.

Overwhelmed since the renovations. I ordered to take it to a table. 20 minutes later, no food. I asked right away. Another 20 minutes later, a shrug of the shoulders, and it's just full. Meanwhile, cars were being processed and didn't arrive until I'd already been sitting there for 20 minutes. I got my money back and will walk to the drive-thru and then go inside with my food. Drive-thru is preferred because of the photocell. One table doesn't have a photocell, so it can wait.

The store was incredibly crowded...this new system is completely cramping the space, I remember it from before. The employees were extremely stressed, which is understandable – one look inside and you can see that the fish stinks from the head up. But I'm sure it's passed on to the workers, who have my deepest sympathy. You feel rushed and uncomfortable. This is due to the narrowness of the store, the new, hectic system, and of course, the workers who can't keep up. The screens are impersonal and too small. Then we went to the employee, and he was really nice, which is why there are stars here at all. There was so little lettuce on the chicken burger, it's absolutely sad. The MC Chicken had lettuce on it that was simply brown and disgusting. The sweet chili sauce for the nuggets has changed; it tastes absolutely disgusting. The prices are more than double, and the quality, which is already poor in these stores, has plummeted. All in all, we now have stomach aches, we feel sick, and we're never coming back.

An absolute disaster! Anyone going to Rahracker McDonald's should bring a lot of time and patience... and whether that will be rewarded is anyone's guess... it's best to show up without hunger - but don't worry, with the wait comes an appetite! We waited over 70 minutes for two meals and a Happy Meal. When my husband first asked, he was met with a shrug and a "I have no idea!" The staff is completely overwhelmed and apparently not very organized... When we asked again, we were assured our food would be ready immediately. Meanwhile, customers who had arrived quite a while after us received their orders before us... After another 25 minutes and no change, we canceled our order, which was unfortunately handled in a completely unprofessional and unfriendly manner. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened. We've decided not to eat there anymore, because the drive-thru has nothing to do with "fast" food...they constantly forget something, and the response is unfriendly. We can, however, wholeheartedly recommend the McDonald's in Wickrath, right off the highway! Super friendly staff who seem to be much better equipped and organized! The food arrives quickly and is hot!

Today I had a bad experience at McDonald's at Rahracker 5 in Mönchengladbach. Even the students who have a booth at the summer festival will do better. The display didn't work, and I had to wait so long for my food, like at a fine dining restaurant. The espresso was served in a long cup. There was no spoon or napkin provided with the food, but we couldn't find one in the restaurant either. Pathetic service, pathetic food.

Absolute disaster! We had to wait over 15 minutes after paying for our food (for special requests, there may be a wait, which we understand, but 2 hamburgers, 2 chicken burgers, 2 small fries, and 2 Cokes is absolutely unacceptable). Meanwhile, 18 other customers were being served (at the drive-thru alone). After pointing out that we'd already been waiting 15 minutes, we were given ice-cold, soggy burgers and fries. The Coke was cold but had hardly any syrup, so the ice cubes in it had more flavor than the drink itself. It's outrageous, considering it's a fast-food temple, where you don't have high expectations to begin with. That was today at lunch, by the way, and we still have stomach problems.

I ordered a chicken burger and a cheeseburger from the drive-thru... the employee was super nice and polite, but unfortunately, both burgers were COLD... what was that again? They're only allowed to sit in the counter for a maximum of 7 minutes? They definitely sat there longer, as the bread was already a bit hard... really COLD!

Delivery took over an hour. I ordered a double meal, unfortunately without a glass, and was very disappointed... The food was almost cold. The ice cream was only half full, if at all, and that for a whopping €4.49. Sorry, but McDonald's isn't even what it used to be anymore... Plus, no response from customer service... Unfortunately, not really recommended. Prices... They're out of this world. A discounted meal with a coupon was €14, back then it was less than €10, if not even under €8. What's wrong, just your money, you vultures!!! Disgusting.

Always check your orders; I was almost always missing something, especially point redemptions. And who planned the remodel? More counters = more problems (confusion, mix-ups, crowds), etc. Makes no sense to me. Wait times seem longer because you order earlier (double the number of orders, but the food still takes just as long as before and is still only served in one lane). Theoretically, you'd have to build a small branch in the parking lot to make the two lanes worthwhile. Currently, you've created more problems for yourself, more work for the same result. You haven't saved time, money, or employees; quite the opposite.

Unfortunately, we had to wait a good 25 minutes for breakfast. In my opinion, that's far too long for a fast food restaurant, especially since we ordered at the terminal and didn't have to wait in line at the cash register. Furthermore, the restaurant wasn't full; most people were waiting at the service desk for their orders. It was 10:00 a.m. This definitely needs to be improved.

If anything, the renovation made things even worse! It doesn't matter when you are there, the employees are completely overwhelmed! You sometimes have to wait up to 45 minutes for a meal for two people, so this location should definitely no longer be called a fast-food restaurant. Something is always missing, most of the ice cream is already melted when it is served because you prepare it before the rest. It's a shame, in the past you didn't have to constantly check the bags to make sure the order was complete.

Disappointing visit to McDonald's after renovation After the recent remodel, I expected this McDonald's to be improved both visually and functionally. Unfortunately, the opposite was the case. Technical problems: The ordering terminals were mostly out of order. At midnight only one machine was working, which led to considerable waiting times. Quality of service: The staff seemed more concerned with private conversations than taking orders. Customer concerns were dealt with only hesitantly, which gave the impression of disinterest. Hygiene and food quality: The condition of the food delivered was particularly worrying. The lettuce was already discolored and unappetizing, indicating a lack of freshness and inadequate storage. Given the general appearance of the restaurant, the question arises as to what the kitchen looks like. Overall impression: Instead of an improvement after the renovation, this McDonald's seems like a step backwards. The combination of technical deficiencies, inadequate customer service and questionable food quality makes the visit unattractive. It seems like the operators are not responding to customer feedback. Numerous similar complaints can be found online with no apparent improvements made. This gives the impression that customer satisfaction is not a priority. We will avoid this branch in the future and advise others not to do so. For a brand like McDonald's, which should stand for quality and efficiency, this situation is disappointing. Unfortunately you have to give away an unwanted star 🌟.
