Kentucky Fried Chicken in Mönchengladbach

The taste was absolutely fine. The order was ready quickly, but the drink cup was missing at first. Once in the car, we noticed that the extra side dish we'd ordered was also missing. So we had to ask twice to get the complete order 👎🏼

I've never experienced anything like this before. There were no fries (the server shouted this out to us as we were ordering at the terminal), and the bacon on the burgers was replaced with cheese without any prior notice, as they were also out of it. This all happened at 1 p.m. I'm only sharing this because it was my second negative experience at this branch (on my second and, unfortunately, now last visit).

Please urgently put out something to deter rats.

I wish I could give zero stars! We waited two hours for our order and it never arrived. Very uncooperative and absolutely no help.

What a disgusting restaurant, all the free tables were filthy with trash, and the food was terrible. The fries were soggy, and on top of that, I was incredibly sick a few hours later, so I ended up with food poisoning for a night.

It was freezing cold. The air conditioning was running at full blast despite an outside temperature of 10 degrees Celsius.

It's fine as fast food, although they forgot to add ketchup to the order. I love ice cream for dessert, but it's not on the menu. The decor is modern and clean (including the restrooms). I think it would be more enjoyable to have a snack accompanied by some calming music.

I thought, after my awful experience during the pandemic, things couldn't get any worse. I was wrong. I thought I'd give it another try after such a long time. When I saw the restaurant from the outside, I thought it was closed at 11:30 a.m., because it was empty—not just two or three guests, but completely and utterly empty. I was the only customer. And what did I see? "Order at the kiosk." Wow, do they offer magazines and cigarettes there now? No, they meant the self-service kiosks. Is it really that bad now? Okay. Then I'll show you the instructions. But the two employees who were there helped me and patiently explained everything (the two gentlemen were fantastic, top-notch, friendly, helpful, and explained everything to me calmly. They showed me alternatives and accommodated me as much as possible). It used to be easier, so much faster. Finding what you wanted took forever. In the past, you could ask an employee what you wanted if you fancied this or that. Back then, the service was better—at least there was someone to help. Today, that was an exception, since I was alone in the restaurant. But that's the crux of the matter: two men had the time to help me? That shows how empty the place was. When I finally explained what I wanted and it was entered into the system, and then I asked for "spicy"—which used to be possible—the employee told me that it was only available with menu item XYZ. It used to be available with everything. I thanked him for his help and advice and left. I'm not surprised the restaurant was so empty. And the prices... For a simple cardboard bucket full of chicken pieces, regular (not spicy)... If I had gotten it the way he wanted it (spicy), maybe, but like this... no, thank you. I'd rather go to a traditional restaurant, not a fast-food place. I pay the same, but customer requests are taken into account, and I don't have to order through a machine. What if the two employees hadn't helped me? The 5-star customer service rating goes to those two men. The rest isn't worth it. Kentucky Fried Chicken isn't worth it to me anymore.

The simplest order they could deliver. Despite that, it was delivered to the wrong address. Nobody answers the phone, and you can't report a wrong delivery through the Uber app. What a waste of money!

One of the best KFC restaurants I've been to. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. The food is also very good, and the exceptionally delicious fries on the side make it even better.

Terrible when it comes to orders. Something is always missing, no matter what time you order. Or drinks arrive completely frozen, which has happened twice so far. Burnt food is normal there. Apparently, trash in the restaurant is part of the decor.

One star is being generous. I placed an order, but initially they said there was no record of it and I should contact Lieferando. Which I did, of course, but received no response there either. After driving to the restaurant because I was simply fed up with waiting, I was treated incredibly rudely and told again that the restaurant had nothing to do with it. The bottom line is, my money is gone, and the delivery was marked as delivered, so now I have to prove that this isn't the case. The service is absolutely appalling.

It was my first time visiting a KFC restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised. The place was very quiet, with a wonderful atmosphere. The service was excellent—fast, friendly, and attentive. A truly pleasant experience!

Best store! We used to always go to Mc's, but we stopped using them about a year ago. Since then, we've been going to KFC here. For €20, my two children and I get our fill, plus a flat-rate drink package. The food is good. But the service is absolutely top-notch. Especially Samat, he's the best! He handles three things at once and is the picture of calm. Everything's always hot, super fast, and simply top-notch with him! We prefer to only come when he's there. Sundays are sometimes very busy, so you just have to wait a bit. But otherwise: "This really makes going out for fast food fun!" And shout-out to Samat👌

After a long time, we went back to KFC Mönchengladbach. We had fond memories. We ordered at the kiosk, received the food, and everything had been fine up until that point. We sat outside, and a short time later, the first homeless person came looking for food on the tables. He found what he was looking for at a table where children were sitting alone (without adults). He reached into the bucket full of wings and simply took them out. The children screamed, and only after we intervened immediately did he leave. Then we started eating. Some of the fries were still raw, and the burger was a disgrace. The pictures show the burger we ordered and the one we received. A thin piece of meat and a blob of sauce. The burger was simply dry. Luckily, I had a large Coke. Before we had even finished eating, the next homeless person arrived. He reached into the trash can. Since he couldn't reach it properly, he tried to pull it out of the rack. A staff member saw this and, after they shouted at each other, was able to chase the man away. We then left. We won't be coming back.

Chicken pieces and other snacks from the fryer or from the baking tray. It's a matter of taste. Orders are only possible on-site at the "kiosk," or vending machine. Without the personalized service, it feels like a pure food factory.

Of course, this shop doesn't have cheese sauce either, even though it's officially listed everywhere in their menu. It's a shame, because that's exactly what I wanted to complement my meal. I get the feeling that the employees decide what's on offer and what's off based on their mood – that doesn't seem very reliable. If you come in as a customer with clear expectations, the selection should actually be available.

I request that four things be changed immediately! Then I'll give the whole thing 5 stars again. But I have four serious complaints. I actually like it here, but it's unacceptable that the ice cube machine is simply gone. After all, the drinks are much better with ice cubes and have a much better taste experience! Please put a new one back there or replace the old one! Also, homeless people are often in or near the restaurant (in front of the entrance) asking for money and harassing you. The third thing: The new version of the fries is an absolute disaster!! The fourth thing: When there are problems with your order, a compromise or solution is almost never offered or provided.

The fries are simply a disaster. A complete lack of respect for people – the potatoes aren't peeled, and you can immediately see that they're bought for 5 cents a kilo and then served to people. They buy old, unsold potatoes because they have nothing to do with anything edible, and they want money for it... It's high time to change jobs, ladies and gentlemen, if you don't feel like it.

We just thought we'd try KFC again, but it was a complete disaster, so disgusting. The burgers were just meat and bread, no sauce or salad on them, and the fries tasted like they'd been taken out of the trash and reused. It's an absolute disgrace to offer something like that for so much money, and the chain should shut down. We'll never eat here again.

I've tried this restaurant three times. The staff are very inattentive to customers. If you're not paying close attention to your order, they might get it wrong — and even when you point it out, it takes them a while to admit the mistake. The portion you get in the bucket is about half of what you see in the picture when ordering. I won't be coming back here again.

The worst service I have ever experienced, whether it is at the drive-in counter or inside, the employees are generally in a bad mood, have no desire to work and are very unkempt... All in all, a decent KFC with a full menu. Unfortunately, there have been times when the toffee milkshake was empty or other items were out of stock. Plus, there are the odd bum who hangs around there, begging very aggressively. The last time I was there, they wouldn't let me alone at the drive-thru counter, even after repeatedly saying no.

I think it's absolutely outrageous how people treat you. You order something, but then you don't get any coleslaw and the wrong drinks. When you call and ask, you just get stupid answers. The meat on the Colonel Original Burger isn't cooked all the way through. I'll never order anything from here again.

No, not necessarily, we had to wait a long time for the food... the food was pretty greasy (chicken wings, etc.) outside at the tables, leftover food was flying around like packaging, and there were quite a few people who were also waiting for the food... it's a shame that could be better.

My recent experience makes me leave a negative review - however reluctantly I do. 04/09/2025 - Order for 2 people, over €30 (which is really cheeky), almost half an hour of waiting time and then half of it is missing. The employee barely reacts to my suggestion that something is missing. Then I experience how, while putting together another order, an employee puts a few things in the bag, asks the colleague what they are and the answer is "I don't know". Then why are you tackling it? So that it doesn't end up in the bag like when I ordered? Almost all of the employees speak virtually no German. If there are problems like the ones I had, the shift manager or branch manager must always be called. Overall, a very sobering situation. It is the better location than the two in Mönchengladbach. PS: Mayflies when it comes to drinks? Really people? Then almost all the syrups are empty in both machines?

The food is cold and the meat seems to have been fried for many hours and has an unpleasant color, the fries are equally cold and ugly in color, I didn't like it at all, I was super happy with the KFC food but it is local, nothing like KFC.

I have never seen such a dirty, disgusting store like the one behind the train station in Mönchengladbach. Not only was there food leftovers on the floor everywhere, no, the toilets surpassed everything. Clogged bowl so that all the poop was floating out and in the other toilet I use a women's sanitary napkin open and just on the floor. There is an urgent need for action in this branch!!!!!!

I recently got a chili cheese burger from KFC to break my fast - no extras, just normal. At home I took a bite and after the second bite I realized something was wrong. There was bacon in the burger - which is an absolute no-go for me as someone who doesn't eat pork. I find this particularly disappointing during Ramadan. I deliberately didn't order any extras, and yet something like this? Very unfortunate. (you couldn't see the bacon from the outside)

Despite being busy, a positive experience! Since McDonald's was closed today for unknown reasons, KFC was busy. The waiting time was therefore a little longer, but the staff was still very friendly and accommodating. Overall a positive experience – thanks to the team!

I had a very unpleasant experience in this branch. There was a fly in my fries and the meat was undercooked! This is absolutely unacceptable and a health hazard. If you're craving fly fries and raw meat, then you've come to the right place! I have attached photos as evidence and hope that KFC urgently improves its hygiene standards. Today was absolutely the last time we bought/eaten anything in this branch. The new thick fries weren't even NEARLY done and therefore disgusting. As is often the case, the chicken pieces were so dark and "crispy" that they were only fit for the trash can (they usually have timers on them and are foolproof to prepare, so what happens to the food???). It's a shame about the price we paid for it, but we've finally given up the repeated complaints. We pick up/eat in this branch NEVER AGAIN!!!

I had dinner there yesterday and sat alone at the table. Then the cleaning lady came, she pushed the other chair against the table so hard that my table banged loudly and my drink almost tipped over. What's that supposed to mean? No respect when dealing with customers. Afterwards I could see that she “cleaned” both the floor and the chairs at the same time with the same broom. What kind of hygiene standards are there here?

Once again completely pissed off, you order a bucket with burgers and what is delivered only the burgers .ok we got the money refunded but something like that shouldn't happen especially since it wasn't the first time. I won't order there again

Food is OK, just KFC. Store was acceptably clean. The staff were friendly but not outstanding except for one employee who seemed to be enjoying his day. Just smiling and laughing. Otherwise a sweat shop in the system catering. No different than McD or BK.

Visited Mönchengladbach for the first time today and ordered takeaway. When I got home I noticed that the 2 classic burgers were missing from my original bundle and I only received my additional Crispy Burger, as a side dish I also added cheese and bacon fries, instead I received fries without everything and I was missing The bundle even includes two portions of fries. I think that's cheeky and a disgrace, especially since you're paying for it. I can't go back and say that some things were missing here. I ADVISE EVERYONE WHO ORDERS FROM THERE TO LOOK INTO THEIR BAG. THIS IS REALLY A BOLD RISK AND FRAUD CASE. Next time I will check this on site and if it turns out that the oak mesh is being done again, then I will confront the boss about this matter with legal advice if necessary. OUTRAGEOUS AND DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR.

Lettuce leaf and tomato on burger was forgotten Instead of Zero Cola, I got regular Cola. Fries not fresh. Despite little activity and 3 employees in the kitchen and 1 employee taking orders, we waited forever. Overall it was NOT tasty.

Terrible service, dirty tables, take away numbering not working, things advertised and paid for not available. Had to serve myself a drink which didn't taste like the pepsi I ordered. Altogether a very grim experience.

Yesterday at 9 p.m. we were there and ordered 1 bucket with stripes (tasted old and musty) and chicken something with fries (cold), 2 x mayo and 2 Pepsi zero. The staff was rude and unfriendly, the hint that something was missing was obviously too much. The shop was really dirty, the toilets were unacceptable (ladies). An employee pulled a giant garbage bag across the store and left a wet trail of dirt, which stayed that way. I also felt sick after eating... That was the last time I was here.

Once again the very last one! Waited an hour for a little bit of food. Then get the wrong burgers. This was complained about... Then got a cold replacement. Other parts of the order were also inedible. 60% of the €35 order was left behind! Stray screaming homeless people harassing customers in the store. When asked by several customers whether these could be referenced. It says "there's nothing we can do about it". After 5 minutes of screaming, an employee gave the woman money. Instead of a house ban and police. Then you don't have to be surprised if the visitors keep coming back!! Conclusion: We then went over to the Goldene Möwe where we received excellent service and were able to leave the store satisfied!! We don't come here anymore!!

Best fast food restaurant (better than Mecces and BK). Nevertheless, the shop is actually always empty, but you can refill drinks endlessly 👍🏻
