McDonald's in Bremen

A little small in stature, but big in action! I've rarely met and observed such friendly people under extreme stress. Thank you for this experience..... 🏳️‍🌈

We ordered a White Chocolate Macchiato and got the wrong thing three times. The manager even said the receipt said Matcha, even though "Macch" stands for Macchiato. The manager couldn't even manage to make the coffee and was even very rude to us. Never again.

Hamburger was tasty, service was okay but a bit dirty.

I was there yesterday morning around 8 a.m. The woman who answered the order was grumpy and didn't have a smile on her face. She half-threw the order at the customer. You could tell she wasn't interested in her job, and when you see a face like that early in the morning, customers are going to stay away anyway. And I had to wait almost 30 minutes for my order even though it wasn't busy. So, employees who are unfriendly to customers have no business being there.

The service was exceptionally fast, the workers friendly and they gave us three cheeseburgers instead of two by mistake, very happy

This has nothing to do with a fast-food restaurant! Waited 20 minutes for a happy meal and two cheeseburgers... and then, on the train, I discovered I had the wrong toy and forgot the two portions of ketchup.

So this place doesn't deserve any stars. I was just there and ordered takeout, then my order was simply thrown onto the counter. I politely said it was for takeout, and she yelled at me, "No, it says tablet, good thing I ordered via the app and could prove it." Then I got insulted and slapped the bag on my burgers. No, not just placed on them. My burgers were crushed with my hand. Sorry, but I would throw someone that unfriendly out on their end. Never again, I'd rather go to Burger King. Thanks for nothing.

Long wait times, staff sometimes completely overwhelmed. Orders made via app sometimes go "lost." Far too small for Bremen's train station.

Very dissatisfied with the staff they also forgot my order had to remind them after 15 minutes and my order was mixed up

I specifically asked for the happy meal which toy I wanted. Then the employee pointed at it, I nodded, and then she brought me something completely different. When I wanted to exchange it, she said there was only one. Why couldn't they say that from the beginning? I only bought the happy meal because of the toy, and now I get the wrong one. I would be happier if I didn't have a happy meal and no toy, instead of a meal and a toy I didn't want.

Instead of a Yuzu cheese bag, I got an apple bag without the cottage cheese, and the manager claimed it was cheese and just ran away.

Everyone there is very unfriendly and you don't get the right food that you ordered.

The old lady at the checkout with the pink-and-red bowl cut and glasses was the unfriendly woman I've ever met. She spoke to us in a very derogatory manner. We won't be coming back.

We waited a long time for someone to come to the cash register to pay. Given that there was no line at this cash register. After 10 minutes, we finally managed to pay and in 5-7 minutes they brought the order. They forgot to put a straw in our order and we waited some more. When we got the straw, it turned out that they brought us the wrong burgers. The staff is not at all friendly. Often, something is missing from the order. And it can take a bit longer. If you're in a hurry and want to catch the train, it's not recommended. You should plan on at least half an hour, or even 45 minutes.

Unfriendly boss, yelling through the kitchen, babbling insults. One employee was also furious. You're only supposed to place orders at the "kiosk," meaning the terminals. Beggars wander through the store. Bremen... If I didn't already know the city, it would have been a great first impression.

A few minutes ago, I left this place and opened a Chicken Honig-Senf McWrap. I literally burst out laughing outside 😂😂😂😂😂 I don't even know what to call it, I've never seen a worse failure in my life 😂😂😂 I leaned over the wrap and thought, "What do we have here, hey, where are you?! 😂 (and it was cold, as if it had just been taken out of the fridge). And I thought, "Should I go back and throw it to them to eat?" Why? They'll have a good laugh, they don't care anyway. It's a McDonald's at the main train station, and there are tons of people passing through who could be made to look like idiots, because half of them won't come back anyway because they're visitors. The most important thing is that the money is good... and the karma comes back 🤷‍♀️

Took a matcha and a Coke - only a straw was given. Me: "Excuse me...? Can I have a straw, please?" Middle-aged woman with bright red square hair: "What?" Me: "This drinking thing, please [shows hands]." Woman (sharply and loudly): "This drinking thing" for Fanta and Coke hasn't been available here for three years. While I stood there in shock - repeated once in German and once in English. Rude, unfriendly, and above all: Why do I need this information?

To ensure the statistics are correct, orders are marked as ready for pickup and then deleted. You wait five minutes in the pickup area looking for your order and wondering if the burger was stolen...

I was eating at Bremen Central Station. Unfortunately, my boyfriend didn't have enough money, so we entered the code at the bottom of the receipt. We clicked through and wrote a justifiably bad review (although we didn't know this at the beginning). Then, when we went to pick up our €0.50 fries, the shop manager insulted us and yelled at us for giving us such a bad review. Then he said I wouldn't get my food next time if I didn't give a good review. And the worst part is, there are crackpots running around the shop like crazy and asking for money, just like the shop manager does later.

So, after I've recovered, I'm wondering who this place is actually trying to fool? According to the reviews, it seems to be their policy to get customers to order something expensive, only to then give them something significantly cheaper. We ordered two Grimace Shakes (unfortunately, we only realized at the hotel that they were two crappy vanilla shakes)...that's a way to make money, of course!!! Several times, later customers were finished before us, and our drinks and food were left on the counter like counterfeit money!!! Never again!!!!

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this branch. There's no way to wash your hands before eating—neither in the restroom nor anywhere in the dining area. This is very unhygienic, especially in a restaurant. I hope this problem will be resolved soon.

One of the worst McDonald's, by far! Reusable food is never available, it feels like half the menu is usually sold out, and the wait times are sometimes absolutely out of this world! The staff often seem stressed and overwhelmed, which they often take out on the customers or let them know. The quality of the food also leaves a lot to be desired, even for McDonald's (not to mention issues like poor animal husbandry and the like within the franchise itself). Furthermore, the branch is significantly too small and usually massively overcrowded. The prices are significantly inflated (which, of course, is McDonald's itself and not the individual franchisee's fault), and then you still get half-empty food. From my point of view, I can only sincerely advise against a visit.

I act like I'm working there as punishment. I waited more than 20 minutes for the fourth McFlurry, and when I noticed it was abnormal, an employee started yelling at me until my husband came up to me. I will never come here again.

A very small McDonald's branch in the Bremen train station building. Overall, the decor is modern, with a few indoor and outdoor seating areas. Here, too, the order number was displayed for pickup, even though the order was still being processed, and removed as picked up, even though the order wasn't ready. So the system doesn't make sense if it's just about statistics.

Rude cashier and manager. They got the order wrong and didn't change it. We asked for a hot cappuccino with hazelnuts and they served hot caramel and a cold cappuccino with ice.

Incompetent staff, even though there are cash registers where you can pay with a card using an EC card terminal, you have to order via the screen. When you ask why, the only response you get is "I want it that way." Then you just order at Burger King.

A complete disaster. The people who work there don't feel like working. They take several minutes to order, and they handle it with two or three people. I ordered an Iced Latte Grande half an hour before the train was due to depart. Unfortunately, I decided to skip the line three minutes before the train was due to depart because I didn't want to be late. I wasted my time and money. I can't recommend this place. Price increases have already been announced twice in 2025. Today, another whopping 10% increase for the hamburger, from €2.00 to €2.20. Gladly, one less customer then! Appropriate, since the new minimum wage has been passed.

You order online via the app for pickup. You arrive and wait 30-40 minutes. Not even everything is correct; a few orders are incorrect. The staff are unfriendly and hectic. Arguing about an online order that you then have to pack yourself in bags. The food isn't cooked properly either; the work isn't done properly (burgers slapped together, fries unseasoned and soggy). Don't go there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff just stood around, especially in the kitchen, most of them were on their phones. There were at least seven employees there, and they still couldn't get anything done. I won't order from here again!!!! On the subject of "fast food." If you order takeout, you don't even get a bag. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to!

Many people waited 45 minutes for their food. Those who asked where their order was were given priority. Ethics are terrible. The employees are all running around in a heap. In the kitchen, you can see employees watching the fryer at work. I'm going out on a limb here, but I think it can do it without anyone watching. Unfortunately, I only saw the bad reviews after ordering there. Please avoid this McDonald's. If you walk to the nearest one (15-20 minutes away), order there, and walk back, it might be faster.

I stood in line for 25 minutes for two things; everyone else who ordered after me got their turn first. My train arrived then, and so in order to catch it, I had to leave my order, which wasn't ready anyway. A complete waste of time and money, and the prices there are outrageous anyway, especially for us young students. I really understand that it's stressful there anyway, but I'm really annoyed about the lost money. I'd prefer not to give it a star.

Cold fries. Refused to change a wrongly issued burger. No straws. Tried to trick visitors into paying with cash.

The branch is small and cramped. The staff is unfriendly and doesn't pay attention to you when you're standing at the counter. The tables are so close together that you're practically sitting on each other's laps. No restroom. Since there are few seats in the station concourse, the tables outside the McDonald's are taken by waiting travelers. The food is hot and, as is typical for McDonald's, delicious.

Just close the place, it would be easier. All reviews are true, couldn’t imagine that I have to spend 15 minutes to get one burger in the morning. Most machines does not work probably as well, since some people in front of me get refunded or change their order manually

The atmosphere was very authentic for Bremen Central Station. The food was delicious and fresh, just as ordered. The friendly staff member even ran after us because we forgot our chocolate cake. Very good service compared to before.

Guys, fast food comes from the word fast-fast. Waiting 20 minutes for an order at MAC is a failure. Please change the staff or teach them to at least work normally. Ordering at a poppy shop shouldn't take any longer than ordering at a restaurant. You may miss your train because of the wait. And going out an hour in advance to grab a snack at Makka is complete nonsense.
