For MONTHS, you haven't been able to order, and deliveries are constantly canceled, if they even go through. Supposedly, you can always pre-order and be delivered at 12:00 PM +/-. Then, when it's ready, they say "50-80 minutes delivery time." And in the end, 95% of orders are canceled, and then you have to pay such high prices. This has absolutely nothing to do with "inflation." This can't be explained solely by operating costs, labor costs, etc., nor by Lieferando fees. The best example of this is Coke, where the gross margin is 90 to 95%. A 0.5L Coke costs almost €4 at McDonald's, even though the production costs for syrup and water are just €0.20 to €0.30. That's a markup of 1200 to 1800%! ... So much for "because of increased raw material costs." The profit margin far exceeds the costs that would actually be necessary. Production costs for 0.5L of cola syrup = €0.05–€0.10 Water and CO2 = €0.05–€0.10 Cup, lid, ice = €0.10 Operating costs: Wages = €0.10–€0.20 (minimum wage €12.41/hour, approx. 1–2 minutes per drink) Energy/Rent = €0.05–€0.10 (proportionate costs for refrigeration and store) Franchise fees = €0.20–€0.30 (5–8% of McDonald's sales) Total = €0.35–€0.60 in additional production costs, total costs approx. €0.55–€0.90 per 0.5L of cola Gross margin = 90–95% (after production costs) Net margin = 70–80% (after operating costs) So, costs alone do not explain why the markup after all costs are included. 340–600%... That's pure profit maximization! No McDonald's spokesperson needs to tell me about "increased costs." And the same goes for burgers, fries, and nuggets. Charging €8 for a Big Mac, or €4.50 for a large 160g fries, which often don't even contain 160g. I've even had only 120g in them. 40g is quite a lot missing, considering the price. 25% less content, or in other words: €1.12 paid for air because employees put less in by pushing the bottom of the package upwards (common practice). Here's the reality of fries: A large portion weighs 160g, whose raw material value is approximately €0.12–€0.15. Frying oil consumption per serving: approx. €0.03–€0.05 Salt, etc.: negligible, less than €0.01. Subtotal raw materials: approximately €0.18 – €0.20 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Operating costs & personnel: Production, serving, cleaning): approximately €0.30 – €0.40 Energy (deep fryer, refrigeration, lighting): approximately €0.10 – €0.15 Rent, administration, franchise fee, taxes, etc. (calculated per portion): approximately €0.30 – €0.50 Total operating costs: approximately €0.70 – €1.00 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Packaging & logistics: French fries box + napkin: €0.05 – €0.10 Transport & storage: €0.05 – €0.10 Total: approximately €0.15 – €0.20 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Total costs / raw materials cost factor = €0.20 Personnel & operation = €0.90 Packaging & Logistics = €0.20 Total costs = ~€1.30, which is a 125% markup... That's a profit of €3.19, after raw material costs + incidental costs are taken into account. Profit margin (as a percentage of the selling price) = 71% Profit margin Profit markup (based on costs) = 245% McDonald's could easily lower prices, thereby easing the burden on customers, which would increase sales, and still make a profit. The only thing that has been done: prices have been the same for several months, because the 1-3% drop in sales was probably not so welcome, and further increases were intended to avoid the risk of further customer decline. Not out of goodwill to the customer.

This is NOT how you treat customers – an absolute disgrace! We were at this branch today and had the worst McDonald's visit ever. After waiting about 20 minutes, we got our food – some were only half-filled, others were full, and a Coke was missing entirely. When I politely pointed this out at the counter, two employees aggressively confronted me. • A tall man with gray hair and glasses seriously claimed there was "even too much in it." • The other, shorter man, also with gray hair, was just as disrespectful and rude. Instead of an apology, I only received rude replies. I eventually got the missing Coke, but it was the wrong one – a regular Coke instead of the Coke Zero I ordered. Unfriendly, disorganized, disrespectful – this is how you lose customers. I will never visit this branch again and can only advise everyone to stay well away.

We ordered two plain cheeseburgers at McDonald's – and had to wait a full 30 minutes for them. Absolutely unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant. While we were waiting, they didn't even explain why it was taking so long. No concessions, no "sorry." But that wasn't enough: As we were about to leave the restaurant, the entrance door was suddenly locked, without any warning or assistance. My 80-year-old grandmother stood outside and had to seriously try to climb over a small fence because no one from the staff responded. Absolutely disrespectful and dangerous for the elderly. That's no way to treat guests – we certainly won't be coming back. 👎

A disaster! Zero service. Is there a single employee in this branch who even remotely enjoys their job? I mean, chain restaurants are among the easiest. They're all given pictures showing how to top a burger and what the finished product should look like. Not a single visit, not a single order, has been completed flawlessly. So far, something has always been missing, or requests have been ignored. And if we're being honest, MC's is no longer one of the cheapest fast food restaurants in terms of price, so I expect that at least the approach to the product is right. Unfortunately, you have to give one star to give your opinion. Personally, you're not going to get anywhere. If this weren't a globally popular chain, there would be something useful at this location.

This review refers exclusively to the drive-in service. Order acceptance has improved, but unfortunately the other points remain. The output is quick, but the food is often only lukewarm; It shouldn't be hot, that's clear, but it shouldn't be almost cold either. The drive-in is usually full, but the fact that orders are taken and everyone behind you gets their food while those in front are still waiting is not right. I got my food and there were 4 cars waiting in line in front of me. After I waited 10 minutes and nothing happened, I ate in line. Of course the fries and the burger were already cold.

If you're looking for completely overwhelmed, listless employees and only want to get half of the goods you paid for, then you've come to the right place. My complaint was completely ignored. I didn't expect to get a replacement after a few days on the next visit anyway, but a "sorry, sorry" would have been nice. Instead I was just left standing. Service is completely different!

The very dark-skinned shift manager doesn't work at all. Something so unfriendly. No hello/goodbye or please/thank you, no smile. If she doesn't want the job, she should look for something else. I'll go somewhere else when she's there.

We were at this McDonald's in the drive at 5 p.m., ordered and paid for everything until then. We were allowed to wait in line for 20 minutes, which didn't bother us, but of course it did bother the customers behind us. We took our order and checked it straight away and immediately noticed that 2 burgers were missing... My wife then went in with the bags to make things right, of course. When my wife asked the staff about it, they cheekily claimed that the missing burgers had to be in the bag and that we should have taken them out. Seriously for 3€ (worth the 2 burgers) it's not worth that kind of effort to me. But the behavior of the staff is incredibly disgusting!!! The discussion about whether the burgers were missing or not only stopped after we asked the staff to look through our car... This was followed by a laugh with the honest staff in “the kitchen”, which urgently needed to be cleaned properly. Even other customers behind us were stunned by this manner and I can only say it again: disgusting!! I expect a statement from the manager, please someone who you can talk to in sensible and, above all, understandable language.

I have often had to argue with staff because criticism was not accepted and incorrect orders were dismissed as “bad luck”. The store is dirty and the employees are the definition of unfriendly. Even if it is “just” a mini-job or you work as a temporary worker, you should do it sensibly. Otherwise you have lost nothing in terms of service!

This branch can also close better. Nothing works there anymore. Today it happened to us again, so now a review. Ordered 2 menus and 20 nuggets. The sauces go well with it. These were not included in the packaging. So out of the drive, into the parking lot and in to get the sauces. There I was treated so below the belt that words fail me. I should prove that there are no sauces in the bags. I would be a stupid German person looking to get free sauces. PLEASE..... after asking again to give me the sauces I had paid for, they slammed them into a bag, which was then slammed in front of my nose. This branch has become the last. We have been eating here for more than 20 years. But that was the last visit here...

Very unfriendly restaurant manager who doesn't answer messages but if she needs something you have to answer 😉 ... it's better to work somewhere else than there ... This review is not directed at the delivery men, they are without exception friendly and nice. However, it has happened more than once in the store itself that the employees seem to be completely overwhelmed, you have to wait 45 minutes and you will probably be forgotten without asking. But with digitalization you have already paid. Ordering via Lieferando means that you have to accept longer waiting times. But if you wait for 2 hours, try to reach someone by phone several times, then a supposedly responsible person answers who you can hardly understand, who blames everything on a technical error, even though he has access to my order, then that is not credible , especially since I was refused written confirmation of non-receipt. Lieferando shows the order as delivered. Then in my opinion it is a suspected lie to cover up incompetence. How are you supposed to prove that as a customer? The fact that I could pick up the meal I paid for, which was suggested to me, is cheeky. Why do people order? Who knows whether the almost 30 euros will be paid back? The confirmation was refused for no reason. Lieferando and McDonald's were notified of the incident. That doesn't work at all. And if you wait patiently because it can take longer, you end up hanging on the phone without food, what was paid for, only to be treated like that after various attempts and with no possibility of ordering somewhere else because it's too late. That's not how it works. This is simply brazen and unfriendly and if the money is not returned it is a reason to take legal action. It's just sad how incompetently the branch is 'managed'. Thanks for the hassle.

A large McDonald's on two floors, but the tables and chairs/benches are very dirty, and the floor could use a cleaning. It gets extremely crowded at lunchtime, so it takes longer to get your food. Otherwise, you can go there. Very friendly employees. My daughter spilled her hot chocolate, and we got a free replacement. Great! Today we found cigarette ash on a chair inside, a no-go.

Drive-thru out of service. You should be able to get in. The manager can't seem to manage to put up a sign. So, quickly grabbing a bite to eat isn't possible. Just keep driving. 👍 Great place! 👎

Unfortunately, the staff was very overwhelmed, and I believe the shift manager was very unfriendly. They forgot many things or handed out the wrong sauces. We were then rudely told that these items were on the tray, which they weren't. Afterwards, he said "Abla" in an unfriendly tone to a friend and left. Completely disrespectful!
