McDonald’s in Hamburg

Since the train was delayed again and there's apparently nothing else there, I had to spend some time here. I didn't consume anything; I wouldn't do that to my body. There are no restrooms, of course. You have to be a bit careful with the crowd. But with just one stupid comment and almost being bumped into, I made it through the hour just fine. 3 points for the seat and the roof over my head.

Well, I ate there once and then I had really bad stomach pains because my Big Mac wasn't cooked through or rather the burger maker wasn't in a good mood that day!!

The food wasn't delivered because the order was forgotten. When I asked at the counter, the order was no longer open but already ready. I still didn't get my food.

There's no point talking about the food, but they don't have a restroom, so they refer you to the train station restroom. The train station restroom was closed. Yeah, then I'll piss you off. You have to offer restrooms if you call yourself a restaurant; it's the law.

No restrooms. How can that be allowed? 🥺

My son (2 years old) drinks juice with only straw and we requested one from the man who works here. He said no, I saw many many straws on the stand and visible to everybody. He answered me they can be given with only shake. Then I told “Ok, I want to order shake.” He said we dont have shake. It is like a bad joke but it was occured!!! Please educate your employees about communication. Because his even behaviours were not friendly, unacceptable!!!!

This place is always very busy. There was about a 20 minute wait for food last time I was there. The food was mostly fresh, although the fries were definitely old or way overcooked. Overall, a place to grab something if you really need it, but not the best fries around.

Employees seem overwhelmed. They quickly click orders away from their screens and then lose track of the order. One employee clearly favored customers he knew and brought them their orders directly, while others sometimes had to wait 15 minutes. Of course, I'm aware that Hamburg Central Station itself is very crowded and full, but it's actually quite possible that you could almost miss your train because of a simple order (2 standard burgers), even if you've allowed a 25-minute buffer.

Saw a racist Karen there who thought you could reserve a seat at McDonald's with a suitcase in the middle of the restaurant

We were there for the first time since the renovations - and we probably won't be back! Ordering is only possible at terminals, not at the counter. At least a friendly employee stepped in and gave us a quick briefing. There are no restrooms anymore - unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant! The worst thing, though, is the food! The burgers are getting smaller and smaller; a "Big Mac" is barely cheeseburger-sized in diameter - "big" is only the price. The chicken nuggets were freshly prepared, but the proportions aren't right either - they're pressed meat, not fillet! All in all, a disappointment!

That's just how McDonald's is. The big drawback: no on-site restrooms. This is incomprehensible given the size of the restaurant and its location.

We actually wanted to order for €20, but due to a lack of communication, the cashier charged us an additional meal and we ended up paying €33. Attention! McDonald's is violating applicable law by not providing restrooms to customers. Despite eating on-site, no restrooms are offered, and no vouchers or refunds are offered for the use of paid public restrooms. This is not only customer-unfriendly, but also violates legal requirements regarding the provision of sanitary facilities for guests.

It lacks cleanliness. There are no restrooms, and the staff are unfriendly. I was brought an incomplete order, and when I told the staff member who delivered it, she told me to get the missing food myself. I've been here a few times in the past, and there hasn't been a single day when the staff were friendly.

Of what felt like 10 checkouts, only one was open, and there were long lines at the half-broken ordering terminals. That's unacceptable in one of Germany's busiest train stations. It's great that they're now offering plant-based options. This was long overdue. The nuggets are actually really tasty, but the burger isn't my cup of tea. The fact that it's advertised as vegan when it isn't is also outrageous.

Because our plane was delayed, we missed our train at 10:37 p.m. The next train wasn't until 4:50 a.m. We paid over 60 euros for food. At some point around 2:00 a.m. my wife was nodding off. The service manager wanted to throw us out because of this. We weren't allowed to sleep at the table. I sat at the table with my cell phone and watched a movie. I ate fries at the same time. There were plenty of free tables. In the background you could hear him throwing everyone out, regardless of whether they had ordered food or not. In the store itself we were approached several times by beggars asking if we could give them something to eat. The tables were very dirty and we had to clean them ourselves. The staff didn't have time for that. The food was okay. The employees were okay. The service manager, if you can call him that, doesn't deserve a star and shouldn't be working in customer service. We won't be going to the store again.

I was there with my little son. When we sat down and unpacked everything on the table, he had to go to the bathroom. I was almost shocked when I was told there were no restrooms. So we had to pack everything up quickly. You're supposed to go to a platform and use public restrooms, which 1. cost money and 2. were so disgusting that we were too filthy. It was a disaster! If you offer food and drinks, there has to be a restroom. How can you simply do without restrooms during renovations? I think it's a disgrace to paying customers. Otherwise, the staff were nice.

I ordered something and got two burgers too few, and instead of a squeezable bag, I got a pack of apples. If you're going to do this, you should be focused.

Disgusting service, you wait for your order for 1 hour and then they look for it, the employees are rude, they can’t explain everything properly even though the discussion was equal, the food is not fresh, the potatoes are cold and not tasty, the burgers are cold.

German (Polite and direct): Hello, I would like to share an unpleasant experience I had in your store today. I bought an ice cream for 3 euros and gave the employee 4 euros. After he gave me 1 euro in change, he suddenly said in front of all the other customers: "Give me back the euro, you only gave me 3 euros." This was very embarrassing and uncomfortable for me – especially because I'm sure I gave 4 euros. This kind of behavior in front of other customers is very disrespectful and disappointing, especially for 1 euro. I would have preferred a more polite and professional approach. We were stranded at the train station in Hamburg overnight today. We went to this McDonald's and were always served very friendly. Every now and then, strange characters appear in the restaurant, but they are immediately escorted out by the staff. So, if you're looking for a safe place near the train station in Hamburg, this is a great place to go. The shift supervisor was particularly noteworthy for his friendliness today :)

On a normal trip you are obliged to offer toilets as soon as you offer food on site. Apparently McDonald's has a different rule. Our hands were really dirty after work and we were told that there were toilets in the station. Of course, it's totally logical that if I want to eat something, I'll walk through the entire station to look for toilets. Honestly more than disgusting! And the meal didn't take almost half an hour. Great “fast food”

I had the absolute worst and most unfriendly experience I have ever had in a restaurant here. Admittedly it was very busy, I ordered via the terminal and after 52 minutes the order was called - completely incomplete! A burger was missing and instead of a Coke Zero there was a Sprite. I waited patiently and kindly and brought this to the staff's attention with my receipt. I was shouted at to get out, I was blocking everything and in the end I was actually pushed out by a completely unfriendly and aggressive security employee... AMAZING... If I hadn't had to catch my next connecting train, I would have tried to clarify this with the police. So I wrote down names and took photos - a complaint was made to the headquarters asking for a statement.

Simply great staff: I was there to grab some nuggets and coffee for the train as it was an additional 20 minutes late. I ordered everything relaxed and waited to receive my order. But suddenly it was announced that my train was canceled and that it would be replaced immediately. I was afraid of missing the new train and asked the staff to give me my order, even if it was incomplete. But the great staff showed compassion and completed my order very quickly. So I was able to catch the train on time and with nuggets. Thank you to the staff for their understanding, response & service. P.S. Yes, sometimes the metronome trains fail and need to be replaced, miracles happen a few times.

There's no point in redoing everything when you have staff like that. There is zero adherence to hygiene. The things taste like they are old, which they probably are. You get wrong things. We'll never go there again.

The fries and milkshake were fine, but the double cheeseburger looked like it had been played with. However, I can't say who won. Unfortunately, I wasn't asked whether I would like some iced tea in my ice cubes.

For the first time, my son refused to eat the chicken nuggets and fries after the first 3 or 4 pieces. The nuggets taste old and the fries are brown and flaky. It's a shame as we had to catch our train so we could only order it to take away. That's why it was unfortunately only discovered that it had to go in the bin, otherwise we would have complained about it. We didn't want to offer that to anyone else anymore.

Omg never go in there. When I paid, the old one gave me €20 short of change. Had to point it out to her and atone for not understanding me. Our drinks were all delivered to sparkling water instead of Sprite and iced tea. The McFlurry was just runny and the burgers were wrong. All of this was within one order. Never go in there

I've never been so disappointed with a Mc. I ordered 2 milk shakes with caramel and therefore paid 80 cents more and it was lame without caramel sauce. We didn't get anything served and it was really dirty. It smells like beer and the employees are very unfriendly. Very unfortunate

The plant-based McFlurry I ordered was out, instead I was asked if I wanted "yogurt or regular". There was a toddler sitting on the table next to us! The raspberry bag was packaged as an apple bag due to the lack of suitable packaging, which leads to confusion. The view of the tracks was good. My grandson Kevin-Justus couldn't go to the toilet because there isn't one. So I would have had to pay for entry to the pay toilets one floor below for a small child and myself! There is so much choice in the station that you can safely avoid McDonalds.

It was a complete disaster. Completely incompetent. Stay at the train station for 30 minutes before continuing on the train. I waited 25 minutes on site and pointed out my order several times. It's a fast food restaurant in a train station, how can you not hand out food to customers after 10-15 minutes at the latest? After 30 minutes I had to take the train and gave away my order to the first person who came through the door and thus 20€!! This has nothing to do with fast food anymore. The staff at the serving desk and probably also in the kitchen were completely overwhelmed. Some numbers were left out and not edited. It's not possible to get this problem under control at peak times and I can't remember that I used to wait 25 minutes at normal checkouts.

Typical fast food shop. Unfortunately the prices have become a bit newer recently. It's hardly cheaper than going straight to a restaurant. And you can't compare the quality. But if you get hungry quickly you can definitely eat here. Definitely recommended for a fast food shop.

If you want to have the Worst Experience ever in McDonald's, go here! I had to change train in Hamburg, so i had some time to spend. I looked for the nearest McDonald's like i always do when i travel. Unfortunately i stepped in this one. My fish burger and the fried chips where barely warm, almost cold, the juice - lot of ice and no bubbels. It was a mess all around, on the floor, on the tables, they were not cleaning at all after each and every client. And they did not owned a toilet, or at least this i've been told. The employees were a bunch of guys who have nothing in common with Mcdonald's, but more with selling fruits on the beach in Mallorca- they didn't aloud to a young guy who bought just a juice to sit down at the table, i saw it. The truth was that outside was super cold and everyone was looking to spend some time inside. But the employees where simply selecting people who were buing more than that. Disgusting!

The food was tasty and the view was something different. It was very busy and therefore very full.

I was there this morning and placed my order, paid at the register and was given a number (116), I waited a whole 40 minutes, my food wasn't prepared and delivered to me and when I asked I was told mealtime was over and they only served breakfast. I was greeted with a sarcastic tone to get your payment back. No smiling staff, they are not friendly, I had a disgusting morning. I will not return and do not recommend.

The McDonald's in the main train station is in an easily accessible central location, which is also made special by the beautiful view. The service was impeccable, but the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. The food was okay, especially the fries, which were delicious, but my Hamburger Royale (TS) was missing tomatoes and lettuce, which is absolutely unacceptable! So, unfortunately, only 3 stars, even though the place has potential.

I went to this (terrible) establishment before an important and nervous trip, but instead of a normal order (and I only ordered coffee) I had to have a chai latte, and in the end I was transferred some water from the coffee washer with some instant coffee, ruined the mood for the whole day, a disgusting place.

An absolute disgrace and disgusting! Ordered a cappuccino and received a cold drink. I complained about it and then I saw how the lady wanted to pour a stale, already cold coffee grounds into the new mug at 2:28 p.m. and wanted to pour the cold, stale, foamed milk that had already been standing there for hours. Yesterday I visited the renovated McDonald's in Hamburg Central Station. It was just terrible, shocking. An employee of this McDonald's created a conflict situation. I ordered a small ice cream and a small cola from the self-service machine. Received a check payable in cash at the register. The receipt had the correct order name and did not indicate the total cost. I went up to the cash register to pay for the order, which was accepted by a young employee, either a Syrian or an Afghan, of oriental type. Seeing my receipt, he counted 14 euros. He rudely demanded this amount several times. When I realized that I had made a mistake, I recalculated it correctly, the order cost 4 euros, and without apologizing, he began throwing me my change. Didn't issue a check for. further receiving my order, left. When going to this establishment, be aware that you may encounter vile and inappropriate behavior of such employees at the checkout Who are rude and do not apologize to clients.

So your guests should then go out with their greasy Big Mac fingers to find a train station toilet where they can wash their hands for a fee? And I had to pee too. In a "restaurant" where you eat at the table, you also assume that there are suitable rooms on site (it's not a stand-up McDonald's like at some train stations). I briefly considered whether I should alternatively leave my stick of yellow water at the counter. Or where your toilets used to be. But then I didn't feel like stress and the police. And your employees can't do anything about the lack of toilets. But probably for the cold food that was served to me at the first attempt. That didn't make the overall experience any better.

I was in this McDonald's and they refused to serve me because I have bad eyesight and don't speak German. If you are disabled or don't speak German, you shouldn't come to this McDonald's. I was even attacked by the seller. Then this man who was standing behind the cash register attacked me, grabbed my hands, said something in German and even chased after me. I had to flee this establishment because I feared for my health and the safety of my belongings. For some reason he wanted to take my phone away from me, a strange, very aggressive person.

Coke from a menu was forgotten, milkshake was ordered in a reusable cup and received 2x cardboard. Of course, 2 euros per cup were charged. However, since the piece of paper with the order overview was taken away when the complaint about the missing Coke was made, you could not complain about the 4 euros. Service was somewhat okay but at first there was rubbish everywhere in every corner over all the dirt, no toilet... and if you ask for a toilet or if you want to go to the toilet you are ignored or rudely sent somewhere else... It is part of human dignity to be able to do one's small and large business in a toilet. Completely messed up the order. If I hadn't had to catch the train, I would have complained. But it's not the first time. In the Happy Meal, the toys are forgotten, Coke is ordered, apple spritzer is given, etc. The only thing that works is the cucumbers on the cheeseburger.

Had Big Tasty Menu! You think that when a restaurant is super crowded, the food is hot. Wrong thought! Fries were room temperature and soggy. The burger underneath. Complaint. By the time the fries were hot, the burger was still cold. Not recommended and I won't be coming back!!!

Absolute catastrophe! Was today on February 2nd. 25 from 6:35 p.m. to around 7:10 p.m. there. Ordered to take away. Number 276. There was complete overwhelm at the issue, it felt like a big game of bingo. Wild numbers were called out one after the other, and many numbers were not understood because they were not pronounced correctly. There were no monitors with the status of the processing. Then at 7:10 p.m. I was handed a tray and 2 bags to pack myself. Really guys, this has nothing to do with professionalism. Then only one toilet for people with disabilities. Otherwise no toilet. Even if the crowd was big. There is still a lot of room for improvement here. If you don't have time and want to catch your train connection, I would advise against a visit ;-)

absolutely chaotic. Staff totally overwhelmed. After waiting for over 20 minutes (after ordering with table service) we received our order after complaining. unfortunately incomplete. After another complaint, there was a subsequent delivery. Unfortunately wrong again. If you're thirsty and expect 0.5l and then (after a total of more than 1/2 hour) you get 0.2l children's apple spritzer, it doesn't calm your mind (at least for me). It's good that the train was late, at least we didn't miss our train.
