Super crowded, drive-through takes forever, had to wait 15 minutes for a mobile order to pick up.

I ordered two. I repeat, TWO chicken burgers. What did I get? A cheeseburger. New slogan: Pay for two, get something else.

Unfortunately, by far the worst McDonald's in Hamburg! Absolutely unfriendly - long wait times... the shift manager is the absolute worst... Never again to this place!

If you pay a €5 delivery fee per order and the driver delivers multiple orders, I call that business practice fraud.

Disgusting shakes were bad. We ordered through a supplier, and just like the last order, half of it was forgotten! Never again!

Unfortunately, for the second time in a row, products were missing during self-pickup. One on the first visit, which can happen in stressful situations, and today two in a row…that's definitely unacceptable.

I Ended up here by chance after getting dropped off from the airport ✈️ and honestly, what a surprise. Perfect spot to unwind, grab a quick bite, or just take a breather. Most places around shut down after 10 PM (classic Germany), but this one’s open until 1 AM. Total lifesaver🙈 if you’re landing late or just hungry after hours 🙄😁🫰🏼 The staff? Super friendly, genuinely welcoming, and they speak multiple languages , not just German ! which makes things smooth and easy, especially for travelers. There’s free Wi-Fi, which came in handy while waiting around. Menu’s what you'd expect from McDonald's—fish, meat, vegan ... but everything was fresh and well-prepared. Even though it was a bit crowded, service was quick and the food came out hot. Outdoor seating available if you want some air, and the place is fully wheelchair accessible, with adapted toilets and staff ready to help. All in all, stumbled in by chance, walked out impressed. Great little find near the airport , reliable, friendly, and efficient.

€50 for cold food! I ordered takeout and while waiting, I noticed that two bags (which were for me) had been sitting around for 10 minutes until a very unfriendly employee handed them to the wrong customer, which was then noticed. After a long discussion between two truly confused employees, my number was finally called and given to me. What a shame considering the amount of money involved.

A cheeseburger arrived cold and we also got an ice cream that had less than usual in it

The wrap was very tasty. The fries were delicious, as always. I really liked the table service.

The order for a shake and a coffee was forgotten twice, and in the end, the coffee was cold and the shake was flavored water with ice cubes and sauce. What a bad joke.

Absolutely terrible. We waited almost 40 minutes for the food, and then it was almost cold. The burgers were stacked behind the counter, but unfortunately, they weren't distributed. It was similar on previous visits. Sometimes they sell you Coke that's actually just sparkling water with a splash of color. The tables were dirty, and the customers around us had already brought their own cleaning wipes. I'll be avoiding this McDonald's in the future.

We could have saved ourselves the trouble. We waited 40 minutes for our food, and it was only lukewarm and dry/sticky. Better to go to nearby branches. As always, not enough staff for the number of customers.

We came specifically to buy a Happy Meal so my child could get a specific Playmobil toy. It was already on display in the display case. However, when we bought the toy, the employee couldn't offer us the Playmobil animal we wanted. I asked her to remove it from the display case, but her supervisor wouldn't allow it, and he himself didn't want to. I've often read that the last item in the display case is sold upon request or given out with the Happy Meal. We were very disappointed – especially my child (3.5 years old). We couldn't understand this unfriendly and unprofessional attitude.

Dear Sir or Madam, in all my time in life I have perhaps 30 times bought something to take away from this McDonald's branch and out of those 30 times something was missing 10 times, be it sweet and sour sauce or curly fries instead of chips or the other way around, ketchup was missing, drink maybe maybe wrong again, always accepted everything, never complained and then this time I make a mistake and only expect to be accommodated once, but no, I am immediately blocked and rude, but my dear McDonald's, if you make a mistake next time I will send you the whole order back.

Forget too often to give individual parts of the order

Terrible service, long and rude...totally disrespectful to the administrator (a man in a shirt with a beard), a constant problem with receiving a full order, always not putting something from the ordered, it takes a long time to sort out, no apologies. I advise you to find another place.

Today I had a truly frustrating experience at McDonald's. When I entered the restaurant, it was already very busy, which isn't usually a problem—after all, there are rush hours everywhere. However, there was only one functioning ordering kiosk, which meant I was forced to wait a full 20 minutes before I could even place my order. After I finally ordered, I went to the cashier to pay—in cash, as I usually do. However, I was surprised to be informed that cash payments weren't currently accepted and that I could only pay by card. This was completely unexpected, as there had been no prior notice of this, neither at the entrance nor at the ordering kiosk. When I then asked if I really had to wait another 20 minutes to place the order again and pay by card, I didn't receive any helpful answer. Instead, my concerns were more or less dismissed. I asked several times—as did other guests—if they could unlock additional kiosks or at least provide information about the payment method. But it seemed as if the employees were simply ignoring the situation. Constructive suggestions or legitimate complaints were ignored. In the end, I skipped my meal and went to Burger King – everything was faster there, the staff was friendlier, and, frankly, the food was better. It's truly disappointing how little consideration was given to customer needs – especially in such a routine situation.

So much trash, and it just stays there. WHY, people? Take your trash with you! As for the restaurant: often overcrowded, ice machine sometimes doesn't work, service staff barely speaks German, food gets cold because the place is packed, long wait times inside.

Catastrophe. Friday night, the fryers were already being cleaned at 1:30 a.m. There were endless fries produced that then sat for a long time. The fries were soggy, lukewarm, and tasteless. I don't recommend the Chicken Big Mac. The combination doesn't go together. The sauce is very sour, which you don't taste as strongly with the regular Big Mac, but the beef counteracts it well. However, with the chicken, you only taste the strongly sour sauce. On top of that, the combination falls apart when you eat it. You bite into it, and everything falls out the back. Too much sauce. Conclusion: The burger and fries ended up in the trash.

I've never experienced such a terrible McDonald's in my entire life!! We'll never be back!!

Unfortunately you HAVE to give one star...it doesn't deserve it. First we drive to the drive-thru and after what felt like 10 minutes we were shouted at: "Drive-thru closed, you have to come in"...You could only order at the terminals. 2 of the 4 screens didn't work. And on the ones that did work, you literally had to hit the screen for anything to happen. After 15 minutes of pressing buttons, you could order and then we waited a total of 40 minutes for our order (for a Big Mac meal, 20 nuggets and a hamburger with fries)...there was only ketchup on the hamburger, and the fries felt like they had been fried 3 times, they were so brown and oily. Who hasn't been there while waiting and watched the employees and everything going on...the kitchen was totally filthy, there was a huge puddle of oil on the floor by the deep fryer - extremely dangerous! It felt like employees were touching every single part of the burger...especially after constantly touching your face...simply disgusting...considering that every McDonald's has the same standards, this is simply unacceptable. This branch is completely out of touch with the food, the ambiance, and the friendliness. They should just hand it over and let someone else take over...

The stupid ice cream machine is always broken

Just got food and luckily noticed that a Big Mac was missing. So I went back in and waited, everything was getting cold. Then I noticed at home that two hamburgers were missing. Totally disrespectful and very disappointing. You can make mistakes, but if you can't get five burgers together, you're not allowed to stand in that spot in the store. He yells at other people but can't count to five.

I'd rather not give it any stars at all. I advise everyone to stay well away from this place. A 40-minute wait for two cheeseburgers and six nuggets has nothing to do with fast food, no matter how busy it is.

Sunday 5:30 p.m.… The store is absolutely overcrowded, and the staff is overwhelmed. Burgers sometimes sit there for ages, even if they're ready. The monitor that shows which orders are ready doesn't work. This means you have to stay close to the counter.

So far, my favorite McDonald's in Hamburg. So far, I've always been lucky with the staff; they usually have a smile on their faces when they bring the food to the table. I have no complaints about the food either; the nuggets are nice and crispy, and the egg in the breakfast muffin is just right; at other restaurants, it's runnier/greasier.

Today we went to the drive-thru. We placed our order and got the wrong thing again. It's happened to us three times already. Today we wanted the Big Mac chicken and cheeseburger. We got the Big Mac chicken and chicken burger 😮‍💨🙈🙈🙈🙈 This is sooo stupid. You're hungry and want what you want, and yet again you don't get the right thing. Last time, we got one item too few... 🙈🙈🙈😮‍💨but we paid the full price. And once again, the exact same thing happened. They gave us one item too few. But we paid for everything. I'm really getting a bit annoyed at this point. I work in retail. I can't give you an item or pack the wrong thing. Sorry 🤦‍♀️. But maybe just give the staff some tips so this doesn't happen again. I/we've always accepted it, but today I've had enough. Sorry 🤦‍♀️

Ordered two Big Macs at the McDrive, one with chicken (it's heavily advertised). When I got home, both had beef (one of them in the Chicken Big Mac wrapper) and were thrown together completely randomly. Mistakes happen, but I definitely won't be eating at this place again.

Disappointing – unfriendly and overwhelmed Over 30 minutes of waiting time for a meal, a coffee, and two cheesecakes – in a fast-food restaurant! When the food finally arrived, the dessert was missing whipped cream, and the iced coffee was served in a to-go cup, even though we were eating in. The service was annoyed and rude, with no "please" or "thank you." And communicating in German seems to be the exception rather than the rule here. Overall, a very unpleasant experience – definitely not a place I'd like to return to.

Today, we waited over 30 minutes for our food. The place was very busy, which can happen. However, the food was cold and the fries were soggy. The Caramel Frappe is made with 50% giant ice cubes. They used to crush them, but they don't anymore. For €5, that's an absolute joke! The screens on the ordering kiosks are very poorly responsive to fingerprints, making the ordering process frustrating. This applies to all McDonald's branches, though. With the revenue you generate, it should be possible to install properly functioning kiosks!

We ordered a cheeseburger without onions and then received a cheeseburger with onions. 5. Things were missing from our order. 6. The toilets were very dirty. Also, the toilets stank. 7. A bit too many people, very long wait and we only ordered coffee

My friend wanted to order but can't read and was laughed at extremely badly by the employees, especially one woman. He was then directed to the store by a very arrogant white person who said if you can't read you shouldn't eat here. Unbelievable!

Service completely disastrous. Toilets dirty, never towels there. Tables dirty. Floor dirty. Sometimes the waiting time is brutally long. Children's play area desperately needs a makeover. All in one 1 star. Unfortunately the only one in Langenhorn.

I asked for a cheeseburger in a normal and nice way. Then the employee insulted me. She looked stupid and then: "Turn around and the machines are there. Very very unfriendly service. The store seems to have several problems since I wasn't the only customer who was yelled at. The slightly stronger lady with shorter hair and glasses should go into the kitchen to minimize customer contact.

When you order takeaway food, it's best to try it straight away. My fries were undercooked and totally soft. Salt completely absent. You had to look for the sauce on the cheeseburgers with a magnifying glass, but at least they were pretty expensive...

This restaurant simply doesn't deserve the "almost" rating. We waited almost 25 minutes for our food. Many proper restaurants are quicker.

I had the N.Y Cheesecake and Iced Shake Choc, both very tasty! The staff who brought me the food were very nice and the atmosphere was very nice and clean, not like other McDonald's (with small flowers on the tables) I'll be back!!

Full 5 stars deserved, ordered everything fresh on a Thursday at 12 p.m. Fries were so hot, like they came out of the hairdresser in 1 second. Cheeseburgers were seasoned correctly and everything was great. Service very, very friendly I haven't seen a pinnacle like this for a long time!

You should always check your order (to take away). As many others have already written, things tend to be forgotten or overlooked.

What is positive is that it is always clean and the food is usually fresh and hot. The burgers are consistently what you would expect from McDonald’s. However, the quality of the fries varies greatly. From super tasty and crispy to soggy and greasy, everything is there. The ordering system with four touch monitors is unreasonable for the customer. The response time of the devices is subpar and the usability is catastrophic. In addition, the staff who used to take the order at the counter are now standing behind the counter, bored, while the customer is annoyed at the touch monitor 5m away. Families with children especially must hate these devices. And yes, there is also the McDonald’s app. But it is a data octopus and therefore unacceptable. Too bad McDonald's. This was at least 1 star better 10 years ago.

The drive-thru in Hamburg always runs quickly, I think that's great! The staff is friendly and the burgers taste as always. Just a solid McDonald's. I never waited long. Especially when there is a lot of traffic, everything works quickly and smoothly.
