McDonald's in Hannover

I need to edit my review... Today, on October 25, 2025, at 12:30 PM, there was a lady serving table service who was absolutely on the ball. She constantly switched between all her tasks and ensured a clean interior and fast, friendly table service. Any restaurant would be licking its fingers for such a dedicated and motivated employee. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Never again to this place 🫣🫣🫣 I ate a Japanese burger there for two hours, I let the whole thing go through my head 🤮🤮🤮🤮 and it all broke out again

Actually, it's a very good McDonald's (one of the best in the Hanover region)! The food tastes good, the service is incredibly helpful and very friendly, but the atmosphere isn't that inviting. The tables are dirty, and the noise level is loud between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., but you can still hear the person you're talking to! Today, however, we felt sick after eating. Luckily, we didn't throw up! We'll probably come back, but not if we feel sick again afterward.

Overall, it's a bit dirty, and the tiles give it a somewhat slaughterhouse look. The food is typical Mecces. But I must emphasize that the staff was very friendly. The visit was on October 23rd.

I haven't been to the branch in a long time, which has since been remodeled and modernized. Since I haven't been there in a while, I was shocked at how expensive McDonald's has become. The burgers were fresh and hot and were brought to the table within five minutes. It's not the same dining experience as it used to be. In fact, by the end, I immediately felt guilty about having "sinned" 😂. I can definitely recommend the branch!

Every time something is missing unfriendly staff

At the beginning of my visit, I was initially charged €2.60 too much. So let's be honest. To top it all off, after eating my McDonald's wrap, I was allowed to empty my entire stomach contents. Thank you, dear McDonald's team, for the free stomach cleanse. Well, at least I don't have to visit my doctor for this anymore. I'm looking forward to our next appointment (just kidding). Clean, friendly, fast. Just as a McDonald's should be. Other branches in Hanover could take their cue from this.

The service was terrible when we were there! I've never seen such an overwhelmed crew. Half an hour before closing, there was an announcement, and the lights were partially turned off inside and almost completely in the parking lot, despite several customers waiting and eating. A disgrace! And that after waiting over 30 minutes for my order... I've never had a worse McDonald's experience in all of Germany than this one!

The parking lot is a complete disaster. I don't even have room to get out of my Astra.

Do not use the left lane when driving through. There is a risk of damaging the rim on the curb.

Very friendly staff (despite the stress). Food served quickly. The food was even hot. It's very commendable that the tables are cleaned immediately after meals.

The food isn't that good I've had better at McDonald's for my money

Slow Food - no one else there, and I waited what felt like an eternity for two burgers. Then someone came after me and got their order before me.

We bought 7 fish menus there and when I got home we opened them and saw that they had been outside for a long time. The fish was very old and the bread was hard. When I called they said that it wasn't there and they wouldn't refund us. I wouldn't recommend the shop to anyone.

Mäckes, as you'd expect. Despite rush hour, I was served quickly. Unfortunately, the code scanner didn't recognize the QR code from the app. Still, this is a good burger place. Edit: I've recently started ordering exclusively via the app. It works great. Almost no waiting time. I'm now giving the service 5 stars. Once the renovation is complete, I'll re-evaluate the ambiance. After the renovation, everything has become a bit nicer. However, I miss the display for the pickup numbers. That's a drawback.

Fries were lukewarm, as usual. Perhaps this is the new standard? I hope not! Tables could be wiped more often, and the floor was interesting. Fries, receipts, and napkins were found on and under some tables. I don't need to have that again.

Unfortunately, I have to say that the food quality wasn't great. The McMahon rib was completely boneless, and the fries were cold. The nuggets had been in the oil for far too long. Unfortunately, a disappointing McMahon experience.

If I could give 0 stars, I would... Coffee tastes like nothing, food is cold, burgers are dry. Half of it is forgotten.

I ordered a burger menu, opened it at home, and instead of my large burger, I got a pack of nuggets. The receipt matches the order I was given. Next time I'll order nuggets, so maybe I'll get a burger.

There were two of us and we wanted to eat in. Finding a seat was difficult. The first available seat was at a dirty table right in front of the restrooms. The next available seat at the counter was also dirty. I don't mind wiping the table myself, but unfortunately, they don't have any napkins anymore. We ended up going outside. There were a few tables available, but all of them were covered in trash, which we then threw away. The staff was completely overwhelmed and couldn't even manage to bring our orders, let alone clear them. This McDonald's is another example of how staff cuts come at the expense of customers, service, and the overall impression. We won't be coming back.

Simply a rude place and disastrous service. The waitress spilled drinks on my €300 leather slippers. Nobody cared. No apologies. Nothing.

It's just Mecces, so what can I say? The place is pretty clean, and the food comes pretty quickly. There is a parking lot, but it's usually occupied by people parking in two spaces.

Ordering food via McDrive is unreliable. Several times, something was missing from the order. So far, fries or nuggets have been missing when ordering multiple meals – or even a cheeseburger. But ordering food inside has always been reliable. Addendum: I've been there again for the first time in a long time. Twice in a row, an item from my takeout order was forgotten. Once, it was noticed on site...

Unfortunately, this branch has disappointed and ripped me off again. Since I always place a larger order, something was forgotten again and the most expensive item was over 10€. This was already the third time in this branch. Thumbs down, too bad.

From the once best McDonald's, it's gone from being the worst. Burgers are cold and dry, something is constantly forgotten, and the iced caramel coffee tastes like water—no wonder, given the number of ice cubes. Tables aren't cleaned. Absolutely terrible shop, a disappointment every time. I just placed another order and waited two hours, only to end up getting a cancellation without any compensation or apology. :) Cool, right? Now I can cook myself at midnight.

Today I ordered a cappuccino, latte macchiato, and hot chocolate. I waited about 10 minutes, and then the drinks were brought to me without any labeling or explanation of what was what. Absolutely not customer-friendly 🤔

My boyfriend and I went there today. We got two McDonald's Classic Chicken and two Chicken Big Macs. The meat looked undercooked. Then we had six chicken nuggets and a McDonald's Sunday, which tasted like it was bad. When we got home, we felt really bad. We had to throw up and, after seven hours, we still have stomach aches and feel sick. It's an absolute disgrace. The place should be closed.

The food is typical McDonald's quality. The service, however, is abysmal. The staff were completely overwhelmed. We waited over half an hour for our food, and after we'd already spoken up three times and asked if there was any compensation for the long wait in a fast-food restaurant, the manager got even more rude and asked if we thought we were kings and to keep quiet.

Ordered takeaway. Waited over half an hour, and in the end, the sauces were missing.

Absolute disaster!! Waited 25 minutes for two Chicken McMuffins. They were completely soggy, the chicken wasn't crispy at all, and the bread wasn't even toasted. Whoever was in the kitchen at 10:15 today should be fired. If I'd tried the McMuffin in the restaurant, I would have sent it back. I had to throw one away because it was so disgusting.

After the renovation, it's just horrible, and definitely not fast food. I've never waited so long for my food. There's no display for order numbers; the numbers are called out, although calling out isn't quite right, more like whispering, and only once. If you don't hear it, the food sits there until it's cold.

The ice cream was bad, yellowish, had a bad consistency, and tasted spoiled. We had to throw it away. The service was uncooperative.

I order a lot locally and every time the most expensive thing is usually missing. They screw up every time. The more you order, the less they pack in. Every time the food is cold.

Long waiting times, especially in the drive-in, the orders are generally cold and incorrect. Update after years: In the meantime there was an upswing where everything was going well. But unfortunately the quality has decreased significantly again in the last few weeks. Some of the meat is still raw. Unfortunately I often had stomach pains etc. afterwards. Too bad. However, the service on site is solid and far better than the food.

The MC diverse is a very tightly built. With my van it is not possible to do it without the tires being crushed. When you leave, you will be greeted by branches that have not been cut back.

I had just ordered take away for just under 33 euros.. tchjaa unfortunately they were apparently overwhelmed with 2 happy meals, a 20 nuggets and a coupon:( my BICMÄC was "forgotten" - unfortunately this is the second time in half a year. I'm a bit pissy and still slightly hungry.. After the conversion, the Mc'es is no longer so generously equipped with seats and the McCafe is rotting away unused... what a waste of space! About the food itself: if you actually get what you ordered, you can say - yes, you can eat. Fries are always delicious, unfortunately the cheese on the burgers sometimes doesn't melt. Very bad staff, waited 37 minutes for food

It couldn't get any worse: the patty was dry and black on the edges and there was a sad pile of bacon and sauce on the hash browns. Compared to the colorful advertising images, it's pure bullshit.

Unfortunately, every time we are disappointed with the service and food. Received multiple orders where parts of the order were missing. Food tastes sticky. Simply disappointing.

Well, what can you say... The recent renovation and redesign was probably not well thought out. Fewer parking spaces, fewer seats, but now a McCafé. Less child friendly. Only one place to play, the outside playground is gone. The issue for take-away orders was also more modern. Screen away, the numbers are called out again. Beautiful is different. Too bad!

Quick and tasty. The team shows how good fast food can be for us. I've seen such good timing and structure from McDonald's employees for a long time. Really an exemplary shop with great, friendly staff.

Unfortunately I am very disappointed. At first the employees were very friendly and the order was processed quickly. Among other things, I ordered “vegan” nuggets to take away. Absolutely vegan. Of the 20 McPlant Nuggets, 6 were not Plant Nuggets, but real Chicken McNuggets. Why is this option even offered if the employees still sell the real nuggets to customers? For me this is absolutely outrageous and disrespectful, check your order before you leave!

The place used to be recommended until the renovation came. There were hardly any parking spaces before and now you just can't find any at certain times. The room was simply reduced in size, the sliding door makes the 2 tables at the door unseatable in certain weather conditions. Anyone who thinks that MC offers anything else for children is misinformed, MC offers zero point zero.

I think it's a shame that this branch no longer stirs the McFlurrys with the machine, even though there are reusable attachments for this. Unfortunately, many branches no longer do this.

December 2024. We have two children and my daughter, probably because she is a daughter and not a son, didn't get any Mario Kart toys with the excuse that there weren't any left. Which is very strange because my son actually got this toy. Likewise, children from neighboring tables who were there a long time (25 minutes) after us. Thank you for this great trip home!!! I had to comfort my child for so long that I definitely won't go there again.

What's wrong with you? MC Donald's is a fast food restaurant. You order from a machine, it takes forever and the quality really leaves a lot to be desired. And to be honest, paying almost €5 for a bad coffee is simply not possible

Typical Mäcces location. Tried new spicy chicken burger (really spicy). It was tasty...what I personally find impersonal in all branches (including the Burger King chain) is the mandatory selection at the machine...service should always be personal...that's why our visits have been greatly reduced.
