The employees immediately mark orders as pick-up, even though you have to wait 20 minutes. They do this only to improve their statistics, which they constantly mess up to avoid looking bad. The food is more bad than good, and things are often forgotten.

Fast food was a thing of the past. I waited 20 minutes for a single cheeseburger. And it wasn't even full.

As with every McDonald's I know, you have to make sure you get hot food. Who wants those sticky corpses from the display? We also had to exchange our nuggets because they were cold and had a rubbery coating. I advise everyone to do the same if the food isn't up to scratch; maybe McDonald's will learn a lesson.

Quite okay, the wait time is a bit shorter compared to other McDonald's restaurants, but still acceptable. Unfortunately, there are often homeless people lying in front of the door, which somewhat spoils the visual impression. The tables are anything but clean, and the staff are unfriendly to customers, which I find completely unacceptable.

I'm very disappointed. I was there around 6 p.m. today, on a Wednesday. All the tables upstairs were dirty, and the food was prepared with total care. The worst were the fries. They were cold, stale, and soggy. It felt like they'd been sitting there for two hours. The Samurai Chicken Burger was extremely poorly prepared. It practically fell apart while eating, the sauce was unevenly distributed, and the buns weren't evenly spaced, which caused the burger to fall apart. This used to be my favorite McDonald's as a kid. We went there so often in the 2000s, and it was always great. It's just sad what it's become. 😢 And as a reminder to all McDonald's in Hanover: Please get rid of the self-service checkouts. It takes much longer, you have no overview, and the food is always cold because it's always left lying around at the front. Standing in line multiple times is also annoying. Once for the terminal and then again for the food. It's customer-unfriendly.

It's NOT LEGAL to charge paying diners for the restroom! Are you serious? After asking the staff who were there today, September 2nd, at 11:30 a.m., they confirmed that I have to pay! There are some states where fast food chains are allowed to do this, but NOT in Lower Saxony. Once, never again.

My code didn't work at this place

I had a terrible experience at this McDonald’s. The waiting time was over 40 minutes, which is unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant. The staff didn’t speak English, making communication very difficult, and when I asked to speak with the manager, he literally avoided the conversation and walked away. On top of that, the place was unhygienic – flies and other insects were flying around inside. Definitely one of the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever visited.

The food was really crappy, it took way too long. Don't go there. A bad review, maybe McDonald's is the same everywhere. We waited for our food, and three things were missing. Two things were swapped, and the food wasn't salted. The Coke was moldy because there was no ice in it, which was really disgusting.

I'm speechless!!!! My girlfriend and I waited 40 minutes for two ice creams. The staff were unfriendly; I think it was the boss. I understand that you have a lot of customers and a lot on your plate, but you should still treat each other with respect!!!

I was here on August 21, 2025, at 6:45 AM and, as usual, ordered two coffees and two snacks with table service. I always do this because I like to drink my coffee from a glass and don't want to walk to the counter and pick up my things while working on my phone. I was called over and asked to pick up my food and drink (which was in a bag on a tablet). When I replied that I had ordered table service, I was ignored and told to get my food myself. I got my coffee in a paper cup, which I hate to death. I only drink my coffee at McDonald's because it tastes best there. If I want a paper cup, I go to Becker. Service is terrible. I'm never going here again.

We've been here several times, ordered a Big Mac twice and always forgot to put something in, the staff always forgets about your orders, we usually wait about 30 minutes for our order, it's always uncleaned, awful!!!

The toilet didn't work. The halls were dirty. The order wasn't brought in full at once, I had to go three times.

Part of the order – a burger – was completely missing. When we called the restaurant, the manager on the phone immediately became rude and unprofessional. Instead of addressing the issue, he literally said it was "not his problem." A replacement order was refused. Instead, he told us to "just order again." As if it were only natural to spend money again – with the risk of something being missing again. I find it completely incomprehensible how someone with this attitude could take on a shift management role. The way they treated paying customers was disrespectful and anything but solution-oriented. For me, this is a no-go, both from the restaurant and when dealing with issues via Uber Eats.

The food wasn't great, and the restaurant and especially the restrooms were dirty. I've never felt so bad at a McDonald's.

I was at this McDonald's today and I'm very disappointed. The coffee was covered in grease from the top, as you can see in the photo. We also received a chicken nugget just like the one in the photo—already bitten into and incomplete. We didn't eat it ourselves; we received it exactly as it was. The restrooms were also very dirty. That was a very unpleasant experience.

It's disastrous, orders are never correct. The frying oil is clearly not changed often enough, and today I ordered a Royal TS Burger, but I got one with a vegan patty. It was packaged incorrectly. Imagine if it had been the other way around.

The service on Saturday night was friendly and organized. The food was good for McDonald's. The cleanliness upstairs in the dining room was abysmal. Dirty tables, the floor covered in food scraps, and the cart for returning trash/trays was overflowing. To add insult to injury and rip-off of paying customers, the restrooms were only accessible via a pay turnstile. I'll just say it straight out. You were standing in urine, it stank, there was no soap, no paper towels, and the hand fan was broken. It's a total rip-off for customers to have to pay for such a mess. I have no problem paying for a clean service. So I feel like I've been ripped off, or is McDonald's making extra money?

Easy to find. The establishment has two floors. Metro station nearby. City center. The toilet is on the second floor. If the toilet is only for customers. Why is it so dirty.

The branch at Steintor is truly subterranean. The staff is completely overwhelmed and doesn't know the pickup number on the display. As a paying guest, you have to pay 50 cents for the restroom. You get a food voucher for that. But what can you get for 50 cents at MC Doof?

What's going on here is truly a disaster. The tables are permanently dirty, there's sticky stuff everywhere, no one clears, no one cleans. The place seems completely neglected. The orders? Pure chaos. Nothing's displayed on the screen, and you have no idea when or if your order is ready. You just stand there and wait in emptiness. And anyone who wants to pay in cash is out of luck. I had to stand around for almost half an hour before someone came to the cashier—even though I had already completed my order at the machine. Absolutely disorganized. The highlight: Today, there's a hair floating in my drink. Are you serious? This isn't fast food, it's frustration food. I won't be back anytime soon.

Processes are catastrophically poor. The term "system-based catering" only partially applies. Long wait times of more than ten minutes whenever there are more than three customers in the store. Staff seem completely unfamiliar with processes; it seems as if people are wandering randomly through the store.

Cash payments are not accepted. The shift manager deliberately turns away customers with cash at 11:00 PM on Saturday evenings.

Linkin Park concert attracted almost 50,000 visitors. The store was packed after the concert. We waited 1.5 hours. People standing at the counter were given priority. Others waiting crumpled up their receipts and threw them behind the counter without any food. What kind of store manager lets three people work in a store after an event like that? Absolutely disgusting. Meat nuggets instead of vegetarian options. The staff were relatively friendly despite the excessive stress. I hate McDonald's, now I remember why.

In my opinion this place is terrible, the only positive thing is that they brought the food straight to my table and prepared it pretty quickly There are a lot of negatives here Firstly when I ordered I was brought a yellow glass but I had ordered a green one. This is already a mistake with my order, it seems like the employees are color blind. Thirdly, the floors are very dirty. The cleaning lady was bringing out dirty trays and as she was carrying them out, some of the trash fell on the floor without her noticing. In addition, the conditions were completely unhygienic, the tables were dirty and flies were flying everywhere in the restaurant. When I wanted to take a bag, I asked the employee, but she didn't understand me twice. I think I'll never visit this place again!

Totally catastrophic fillale with unfriendly staff. The fries were soggy and not warm. The worst thing, however, is that as a guest you have to keep 50 cents for the toilet. Theoretically, you can only get this back if you FIRST go to the toilet before ordering and then redeem the voucher printed there when ordering. But who does that? Of course you don't know that beforehand. A big sign says that the toilets are free for guests. The practice looks like this: Of course, you go to the toilet after eating, even just to wash your hands. So we wanted to redeem the voucher at the checkout and were rudely told off "that's the rule". That was it then. Never again !!

Only after we bought the meal we found out that toilets were “out of order”. How are you even allowed to serve customers inside without a working toilet? And if you do, shouldn’t you at least say so somewhere before we buy? Like “just before you pay we want to let you know that our toilets are not available so you’ll have to eat your French fries with dirty hands”.

The products are anything but fresh - the fries are often cold and soggy, the burgers seem carelessly put together, and overall the quality has deteriorated significantly. You can tell that savings are being made here in every corner, be it in the ingredients or the preparation. The store is making an increasingly poor impression, and unfortunately that is also reflected in the taste. Für mich der letzte Drecksladen. Immer wieder wird man, wenn man nach dem feiern am Steintor etwas essen möchte und mal auf die Toilette muss, darauf verwiesen, das die gerade gereinigt wird! Das dauert wohl stundenlang?! Für mich als zahlender Gast ein absolutes no Go. Ich würde euch am liebsten mal das Ordungsamt auf den Hals schicken 😡

She is the greatest woman I know and no one has the right to doubt that. Especially not when she says when asked that she is a woman and then has to identify herself. It doesn't work at all. I'm horrified at how absurd and stupid you can be. There was a big complaint to the branch management. I'm still thinking about whether I should even put an ad out there.
