Bad treatment, I ordered via the McDonald's app but when I paid they didn't want to accept the toilet vouchers even though they said they can be redeemed on the next purchase, just cheeky.

Despite the difficulty in accessing the branch, it is very busy. As expected, the branch is busy, so you may have to wait for a free table. The wait for the ordered food also felt very long. Operations are obviously running at full speed, which can lead to delays. One positive aspect is the view from one of the windows, which offers a good view of the busy Ernst-August-Platz. The food itself is "okay" – typical McDonald's quality, which you would expect. Another point of criticism concerns the use of the restrooms: a fee is charged. This raises the legitimate question of whether customer restrooms shouldn't be free in a fast-food restaurant where food and drinks are consumed. Conclusion The McDonald's at the main station is a popular destination and benefits from its central location. However, the fundamental accessibility issues (long stairs) and the paid restrooms seriously tarnish the overall impression. In addition, there are potentially longer wait times when the station is busy. Those who are satisfied with the typical McDonald's offerings and are willing to accept the aforementioned hurdles will find a quick meal here. However, people with mobility impairments must resort to other, more accessible alternatives.

The food was good and warm, but it was made as if they wanted to and couldn't. I have major reservations about the ordering system at the kiosk. My fiancé and I ordered food, and it didn't even appear on the ordering screen. There were no Tisch Service numbers. When I approached the cash register, the man (I think it was the manager who prepared the order) announced that it should be in a paper bag because they didn't have the trays in the dining room. They just needed to hire more staff and collect them. The restaurant floor was a complete mess. Moreover, the cleaning man thought that someone with bad knees, showing off their left knee brace and right knee brace, would deliberately look for another table to eat at because they couldn't clean up where they had so much space. It was a complete disaster. I don't recommend it, avoid it completely.

I ordered my food at this McDonald's branch, and aside from the fact that there's a bit of a lack of space during peak hours, the food was okay. Then, after eating, I wanted to use the restroom and paid the 50-cent fee. The sign next to the restroom also confirmed that customers don't have to pay a fee. Unfortunately, the restroom was very dirty, and there was no soap left... So, I went to the cashier and asked for my 50 cents, after showing the receipt and the bill. The cashier yelled at me, saying I had to buy something and wouldn't get anything back. That's really unacceptable...

They didn't add potatoes, the food is tasteless, takes a very long time, the worst Mac I've ever had.

On Saturday, October 3, 2025, at approximately 10:00 PM, I witnessed a very unpleasant incident at this McDonald's. An employee (presumably the shift supervisor) spoke loudly and disrespectfully to team members and delivery drivers from Uber Eats, Wolt, and Lieferando. Her tone was aggressive and completely inappropriate – no one should be treated this way at a company like McDonald's. I hope management takes this incident seriously and takes appropriate measures to ensure respectful interaction within the team.

Very dirty, only homeless people, no one actually eats anything, people just come to sleep and lie with their heads on the table, tables haven't been wiped even once in an hour. Don't eat here!

Countless drinks without lids and straws – this is completely unacceptable for McDonald's. The manager must immediately ensure that sufficient lids and straws are always available.

My brother and I made 3 orders, none of them were made as we asked.

The food came quickly, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. But the food was some of the worst I've ever eaten at a McDonald's. The fries (pale and cold) and the chicken burgers tasted like they'd been sitting around all day, just reheated, or like they were using expired products. I couldn't finish either the fries or the entire burger, even though I hadn't had anything to eat all day.

I was a bit disappointed with my recent visit. The staff seemed unsure of McDonald’s usual service standards, and the food didn’t feel as fresh as expected. Honestly, I had a pretty rough experience here. I popped in for a quick bite, but "quick" was definitely not the word for it. I ended up waiting over 25 minutes for my food, just standing around and watching other frustrated customers. The team handing out the orders seemed really overwhelmed and it showed in how they interacted with people. It's a shame because I usually enjoy McDonald's, but this visit was a real letdown. Hopefully, they can sort things out, but I'll probably try a different location next time.

I was there for breakfast. I didn't have to wait long, and everything was complete. The staff was really friendly. Unfortunately, some of the tables were dirty. But the view while eating was really cool.

I stood there the whole time waiting for someone to check me out. They walked past me 5-6 times, stared at me, and when I said something, they ignored me. Eating inside wasn't possible at 9 p.m. because they were supposedly cleaning the drains? Come on, you could tell everyone was in a bad mood and didn't feel like they were there. You weren't even greeted with a smile or a hello. The food was just packed up like it had been slapped on the table.

I didn't find the food and drinks any better or worse than at other McDonald's locations. I find it a shame that I have to pay 50 cents for the restroom (there are hardly any restrooms at the station), and then I can only redeem it at the checkout and not at the ordering terminal. Also, there was no paper to use after I washed my hands, which is a shame.

One of the worst McDonald's there is. For many, it serves only as a lounge or a warm place to sleep. No room for paying customers. We were the only ones who placed an order, and still had to wait over 20 minutes for two cappuccinos. We ordered a McDonald's coffee from the "regular" fully automatic machine. The lactose-free milk we ordered was soy or oat milk...

The two of us came here to fortify ourselves for our journey. We ordered two Happy Meals. It was quite crowded, so we had to wait a while. Once we got our orders, we quickly ran to our platform. When we opened the Happy Meals, we were completely horrified: My McPlant Nuggets, which were supposed to strengthen my weakened body, were completely missing, and the second Happy Meal, instead of my beloved McPlant Nuggets, suddenly had bacon on them!! I was definitely not happy about that; perhaps renaming it the Depresso Meal would be a more appropriate idea. Luckily, we were at a station with plenty of platforms and trains anyway.

Absolutely outrageous! We were passing through and wanted a snack. We wanted to avoid the area with the homeless people because we wanted to enjoy our meal without any smell. There were already guests sitting on the other side. We sat our toddler with his suitcases there, and then a staff member came to our son instead of us and told him to get out of there!!! The staff were incredibly unpleasant and rude. You say something like that to parents and not to the child... And then only to the child and not to any other guests... Never again.

We were here last night. The tables weren't cleared, there was dirt everywhere. I've never seen so much oil in food at any Mac. The nuggets were tasteless, you could only feel the oil.

No. Someone was sleeping in the restroom. Completely filthy. Okay, it's open 24/7, but it doesn't look neat and clean. All the carts were full. About an hour later, they started cleaning. A customer said the health department should take a look.

I visited the McDonald's at the Hanover train station on August 23, 2025, and ordered table service. My order, placed at 10:27 AM, was never delivered. At 10:51 AM, I had to leave the restaurant without food because I had to catch my train. It's unacceptable to offer a service that you can't fulfill. Such incidents damage McDonald's reputation.

After 20 mins of waiting for the order, I have up, took money back and left the place. Unbelievably incompetent service.

I understand that there are staff shortages and bottlenecks everywhere, but the incompetence of the employees there truly surpasses everything... If you order here, you mustn't be in a hurry!

They advertise 24-hour opening, but apparently they don't have the place under control at night. Half the tables were blocked, the other half were either completely occupied, smeared with leftover food, or littered with trays that hadn't been cleared. When I asked if they could free up more tables, the lady answered with a shrug, an unintelligible mumble, and a gesture toward a table already stacked with trays. I then had to wade through the leftovers and clear my own table. Outrageous and disgusting. Next time, I'll go back to Steintor for kebabs; even the worst is better (and cheaper) than this.

The place is okay, but it's dirty. Don't ask me about the restrooms. There are a lot of people, and you can't hear the service. But the food is okay. The game table is broken.

Great place to hang out if you need to kill time or are coming back from a party. The restrooms cost €0.50, but they're not clean. And there were no paper towels to dry yourself with. You can redeem the coupon at mcess. It's just annoying if you need to go to the bathroom after eating. 😂

I stopped by here for something to eat at 5:00. The cashier was very friendly and relaxed. The food was fresh from the fryer and tasted very good. One star deducted for the overflowing leftover carts. Three out of four stars is only due to the friendly employee.

Ordered by bus, the food arrived in just over 40 minutes. We complained about the cold food and were then given a new one. Why not just warm it up?

Very bad...forgot capri-sonne and apples at the Happy Meal and chose Squishmallows and got that in the photo... annoying!!!

I wanted to order normally, but then I waited 30-40 minutes for my order, and people who had ordered after me were served first. When I finally got the food, my friends and I sat down at the table completely covered in food, and that wasn't all. There were no ice cubes in the drinks, the burgers were untouchable because they had sauce all over them, and the fries were cold. On top of that, a friend and I had stomach cramps for the rest of our day in Hanover after this meal. The health department should definitely check this place for hygiene...

There's a fairly long wait for breakfast at 7:30 on a weekday morning, even though there aren't many guests. Of course, the restaurant was cleaned overnight, so the restaurant—and the seating areas—are clean. Large windows provide a good view, and the rooms are bright. When I'm finished with breakfast, a staff member kindly takes my tray.

I've never seen a filthier McDonald's.

Food is below average. Fries were soggy and the burgers were rushed! The cheese was half in and half out of burger and salat was just thrown around the burger in the box. Staff is robotic and looks overworked or angry. We asked for straws and the lady behind the counter just yelled "NO". Come here only if you dont have any other option.

The air smells of mold and it's very messy. For an order for three people, there were only two napkins. There wasn't a fork for the salad.

Unfortunately, I was treated rudely and with very unprofessional behavior at this branch. The way customers were treated was arrogant, disrespectful, and condescending. This is not what customer service should look like. The employees showed little friendliness and a lack of professionalism in their interactions with guests. Very disappointing.

That's not a portion. I wasn't served enough. I pointed it out, but the employee refused to give me more. At other MCs branches, I get twice as much.

Meat was raw and a junk kept screaming through the store the whole time. Also when I walked into the toilet someone started puking, probably because of the raw meat. When my friend picked up the order the lady behind the counter started screaming at him.

There's a nice, slightly older employee who brings the orders to the tables. The guy is awesome! So super friendly, always smiling, and he runs instead of walking. He's super sharp. This guy needs a raise <3. The food is like any other McDonald's, and the atmosphere is really cool because it's on the first floor of the main station with a view of the station forecourt. Points deducted for the paid restrooms (50 cents with a voucher) and the strong smell of food in the counter area.

By far the dingiest McDonald's I've ever been to. Dirty floors and tables, disco-like music on a Tuesday night, and people begging for money every two minutes. The fries were soft and wobbly, and the cheese on the burger wasn't even remotely melted.

The tables and chairs were dirty and sticky. We had fries and Chicken McNuggets, and they were never as greasy and soggy as they were at this location.

The food tastes like the 120-minute train delay. The staff is very friendly. I can only recommend it if the DB is delayed again (as always).

Are you seriously saying that without this it was impossible to make a bacon burger? I don't believe the cashiers who said that it was so flat because of the grilling technology. I'm sure that everyone was just too lazy to do it properly, because other McDonald's don't have this. They remade it for me 3 times. The first was flat as paper (in the photo it still looks NORMAL), the 2nd was without bacon, and the 3rd you can see for yourself what it was like.

I ordered food at the table via the app and paid. Then I went to the restroom: you have to insert 50¢, but I didn't have one. Then I would get a 50¢ receipt back, which I could redeem when ordering. Find the mistake! You then have to go to the counter and present your request along with the receipt. Then you're granted access to the restrooms, which are in terrible condition.

I would advise everyone not to eat at this restaurant! After waiting what felt like an eternity for my food, I asked the staff at the counter if my number had been called yet and how long it would take. Twice I was simply told "I don't know" and to wait. The third time, they checked and said they had already finished and handed out my food long ago. If they had checked the order slips, they would have noticed that someone else had apparently just taken my food. After that, it took another long time for them to finish my food, and they even made it a takeaway, even though I had indicated I was eating in. To top it all off, my glass of Coca-Cola wasn't in my bag as ordered and stated on the slip; I didn't get one.

My visit on Thursday at 1am I had a transfer time of around 2 hours and wanted to shorten the time with a relaxed burger menu at McDonalds. The staff is friendly and works quickly. However, almost all of the seats were occupied by people who were just spending time there but not eating and therefore the tables were no longer available. The remaining tables were mostly occupied with leftover food, which made my stay really unpleasant.

My recent stay at your so-called “branch” was less of a culinary experience and more of a study in the complete derailment of all service standards. As soon as I entered the establishment, I was greeted by an atmosphere that was reminiscent of the sterile dreariness of a waiting room - only with poorer lighting and a pungent smell of frying. The gastronomic offerings, if the hastily cobbled together, lukewarm cardboard products can even be called that, not only lacked any claim to taste and quality, but also raised serious doubts about the definition of “food”. The “burger” – a sad heap of soggy bun and taste-amorphous meat – was an affront to even the most modest gourmet sensibilities. The service was a lesson in disinterest, coupled with the elegance of a frying pan. Friendliness seemed just as rare as hygiene - a fact that was only too clearly underlined by the state of the sanitary facilities. In summary, anyone who enters this establishment with even a hint of expectations will be bitterly disappointed. It was an experience that you wouldn't want to inflict on even your worst enemy. For my part, I will avoid this place like a plague in the future.

The store is way too crowded, even a queue to pay. Afterwards, after pointing out that we should check out the cash register, we got our turn after waiting forever. Then our order, half forgotten. Big Mac is missing and a glass too. But since we threw away the receipt, we didn't get anything and were stuck with the costs after asking friendly questions at the order counter. Real juice shop the lerrek just serves one burger instead of two and also forget the cola glass. They joked about being rude and had no idea what they were doing. Then we come back because we wanted the second burger we ordered and then we got a torn mccs bag and a completely different burger even though we asked for the right one. Don't go there, dead shop, poorly overcrowded, waited half an hour just to pay. Despite the heat outside, the shop was even warmer and then waiting in this dead shop with 60 others at 40 degrees for what felt like an hour was unbearable.

Terrible service!!! Long and careless service!!! Not everyone delivers what was ordered!! We waited a very long time for our order. 248 have already been served, and 233 was still waiting. The Happy Meal didn't include sauce, fruit or a toy!!!! They didn’t check it right away because while we were waiting for the order, we almost missed the train. On the train, the child was upset when the box with the order was opened. The second order did not include a sprite. And the napkins were crumpled, as if they had already been used. We will not go to this establishment again and do not recommend it to others!!!

Rarely have I eaten such disgusting fries and they ended up straight in the trash. The staff was crazy, forgot to give us our ice cream and gave us other drinks than we ordered. I'd rather eat somewhere else!!!

If you quickly order a coffee to take with you on the train, you are told twice at the counter that it will unfortunately take a while, but that you will take care of it straight away. After waiting for 15 minutes and asking if I would get my money back because my train was about to leave, unfortunately I didn't get a real answer and so I had to run to my train without coffee and without my money because they couldn't manage to make a coffee in a total of 20 minutes. It's a real shame, but I won't be standing here again.

Not recommended, at least not after our visit 4 days ago: dirt, residue on tables and floor, 1 tray was sticky on the bottom, ketchup or something similar, so it wasn't washed or checked. Using the toilet costs money, but it's fun to fish change out of your jacket with sticky fingers. ;/ Ambiance etc. everything was ok, with a window seat you have a good view.

I just forgot to put in the fries but put in the mayo. I had to get some cheese breadcrumbs but the burgers were awesome so 2 stars
