We were here today with 13 people: 8 children and 5 adults. The service was incredibly friendly, and we each received a crown. We'd love to come back. Despite this, I received them with hot ketchup. The children couldn't eat the food, and the staff refused to return it. What disappointed me most was that the staff showed absolutely no interest or understanding. As a result, I had to order again and pay twice. This is unacceptable to me, especially when you clearly state what you want at the register.

My last visit to Burger King at Hanover Central Station was, unfortunately, an experience one would soon forget. As soon as I entered, I noticed the lack of cleanliness: sticky floors, overflowing trash cans, and tables that clearly hadn't been wiped for hours. For a branch in such a central and busy location, this is simply disappointing. The staff seemed not only overworked, but above all disinterested. A brief inquiry about my order was met with a shrug – service doesn't look that good. On top of that, the wait was far too long for a simple meal. When the food finally arrived, it was not only lukewarm but also carelessly prepared. Of course, I don't expect culinary excellence from fast food, but I can certainly expect a minimum level of hygiene, friendliness, and organization. Especially at the main station, where many travelers are just making a quick stop, the goal should be to leave a good impression of the brand and location. Instead, I ended up with the feeling that no one here really cares whether the customer is satisfied or not. Unfortunately, that was my last visit to Burger King at Hanover Central Station. Next time, I'll opt for a sandwich from the kiosk next door—it's easier, but at least it's reliable.

Since it's supposed to be a fast-food restaurant, the wait times are just as long as in a regular restaurant. The employees work so slowly you could resole their shoes while they work. On top of that, their German is bad, so it's sometimes hard to understand the order numbers. Overall, you can tell that the place only survives on walk-in customers.

It was a disastrous experience! My onion rings were neglected and replaced with two disgusting lumps of chicken. The person behind the counter was incredibly rude and agitated. The large portion of fried potato sticks was the size of a regular small portion of fried potato sticks at McDonald's. On top of that, the wait was terrible, and the location at Hanover Central Station meant that there were some characters lurking around that you wouldn't want to meet in the dark.

The service is usually great, and you always get what you need, but the restroom attendant is incredibly unpleasant. She always demands money from customers outside, otherwise they're not allowed to leave. I don't think that's in keeping with Burger King's philosophy. She also holds coffee galas and chats with her friends in their own language. She even rudely asks customers for "money" when they go to the restroom, or she acts really smart and gives them a paper towel to dry their hands with, then thinks the scam will work. Truly rude and the biggest reason, for me, for not going to this store.

Very unfriendly staff. Our order number wasn't displayed on the screen, but when we asked after a while if it would be much longer, we were rudely accused of having finished long ago and of not picking it up until so late. The result was lukewarm food, which also left much to be desired (brown bits in the salad, etc.). Furthermore, I was charged €1 for a toilet without a lock, even though we had already ordered. We'll go somewhere else next time, which is a shame.

After my receipt was simply crumpled up, and I pointed out that I needed it for my accounting, the employee tore it up (property damage). Furthermore, the boss tolerated aggressive behavior from his employees. Anti-violence training is recommended! I also thought the scam was really well covered by the other employees. A real rip-off place, the organization is abysmally bad. Sunday at 10:50 PM, I ordered a burger (some kind of double cheese for €4.49) via the terminal. When I walked in, the place was half empty. They hadn't managed to prepare my burger in half an hour, but they let a bunch of group orders that came in after me go first. When I asked if my burger had been forgotten, I was told "wait, bro," and they just turned around and handed my receipt (number 800 on July 20, 2025) to another guy. My train left at 11:20 PM. I ordered an ice cream with two ingredients. After a seven-minute wait, the ice cream was ready. However, it only had one ingredient. I was politely asked if I wanted a different ingredient. I declined and was referred to the "boss." He was extremely rude! He disappeared, but came back a short while later – with a pile of paperwork! I was supposed to fill it out. The whole thing cost me almost 15 minutes of my time. When I asked who would compensate me for the lost time, the man was baffled. If the ice cream isn't available in the desired combination, that's no problem. But the worst thing is to be treated so unfriendly and made to feel like you're to blame for the situation. This Burger King branch is located in the middle of Hanover Central Station. It is strongly aimed at the young generation. When you enter, you think you're in an arcade. Because personal advice does not take place here. Various computers or should I say “order terminals”. You can scroll through photos and put together your own menu. Unfortunately, not all offers are listed here, because combination offers with corresponding lower prices can only be found if you have downloaded the APP beforehand! Normally you pay with a card at the terminal, although cash payments also work. After placing the order at the terminal, you will be given a number, which will then be displayed on the screen. I did it the old-fashioned way and went straight to the counter for advice. I took up the suggestion to download the app. But then two men had language difficulties, which meant that a price was displayed on the checkout terminal that did not correspond to my order. I ordered 2x chicken with fries and coke for the price of 10.9..Why 10.9? Because the second digit after the decimal point is not shown on the receipt in terms of price! A fork to pick up the fries was not offered. The visual presentation is weak, but I didn't expect more. The “dining room” reminds me of some company canteens.

If you ever find yourself stuck at Hannover Hbf in the middle of the night and just need a place to wait until around 3 AM (that’s when the patrols usually show up and 28 Days Later vibes outside finally settle down) Burger King isn’t perfect, but it’s a decent option. It’s warm, relatively quiet, and there’s a dedicated janitor who genuinely cares about keeping the place clean and safe by firmly escorting out anyone causing trouble. Much respect to him.
