McDonald's in Heidelberg

The manager didn't understand how to deal with customers.

The staff mostly speak only German, and some of them are unfriendly. The restaurant is within walking distance of a nearby tram and bus station. The food quality is average. The place is clean and has a good atmosphere.

I'm never going to McDonald's again. You can rename the Big Mac to a small mac or mini mac.

I'm currently sitting here in the restaurant and there was a slight issue with my online order because the coffee machine is out of service due to maintenance. The shift manager resolved this perfectly. Thank you very much.

Absolute disaster of a place... I ordered food from them for delivery for the umpteenth time... just like tonight... And again everything was cold,... even though I booked priority delivery with Uber and paid extra... The same thing happened with Lieferando in the past... everything was cold and disgusting!!!!! That was the last time.

There was hair in the food, and you are accused of having put it in the food yourself.

Garbage, you'd think the oil hadn't been changed in a year, what a disgrace!

We ordered McNuggets but they forgot to deliver the sauce. The Pommes taste like they were from yesterday. This was my worst experience with McDonald.

It's a real shame that they're supposedly open until 3 a.m. on Sundays. I walked there from the train station and found the doors locked. At least I was able to order via McDonald's Drive-Thru. However, several people without cars turned around. The employee was friendly.

Never in my life have I been treated so rudely in a restaurant as in this McDonald's. We were there at 11:50 pm and ordered to eat in. The cashier told me that only takeout was available because they were closing. I asked why, since the website said they were open until 3 am. At that point, an employee came running out of the kitchen and yelled at me that only the drive-thru was open until 3 am. I have never encountered such a tone or such an unfriendly manner. It's simply unbelievable... I will never set foot in that McDonald's again.

Sometimes the tables are still dirty, but otherwise quite a good standard for a McDonald's and super great table service that clears your trays.

I've been there three times now and I have to say everything was always fresh, which isn't the case at McDonald's here in Reutlingen. Everything was always freshly prepared and they were very quick at cooking. That's how it should be; your franchise colleagues could learn a thing or two from them.

You get what you pay for. Always loving it.

I was there today, September 26, 2025, and ordered a small item. A smiling employee greeted me with chocolate chips. I thought, "How sweet is that?" All the employees noticed me and greeted me warmly. My order was processed quickly. I left with a smile on my face. I've rarely experienced such a great team and such good service. Thank you!! Keep it up!!

Many standard products have not been available for days...

We were there at 2:30 a.m. on September 13th. The employee was very good—decent and pleasant. I give him 5 stars for his service at the McDrive.

I would like to once again thank the Mc's crew here in Heidelberg for this exclusive and princely dinner and best wishes from Mannheim 🔵⚫️💪, can only be recommended and we will definitely 💯 be back.

The food came quickly, the staff were friendly, but it deducted one star because the restaurant was dirty. The burger was beautifully presented and the fries were warm.

McDonald's as you know it. There's a lower seating area in the back, with a conservatory feel—something different. Otherwise, ordering via the app and table service are fantastic, of course, and great for a fast-food restaurant. The burgers were freshly prepared and tasted great—nothing to complain about ☺️

Children like McD, once a year with each grandchild is enough 😅

We're a Spanish family of six traveling through Germany. Today we went for breakfast and were served by Martín and a friend, both very kind. But we especially want to thank Martín for being incredibly attentive to us. We'll be back for dinner thanks to his wonderful service. Service makes all the difference, even at McDonald's. You don't expect much from McDonald's, but the store is completely deserted even though there are only two customers in the store.

I prefer KFC over this any day. The customer service is not that good and the food is not good. I really hope they can lock in and make their food better and make the customer feel good and get a good experience for them and make it a priority to make the food good and healthy and not just for them and the customers are very happy and they will appreciate the service they are doing to them as much and will appreciate the effort.

I was very satisfied with my visit to McDonald's. The burgers were fresh and well-prepared, as you'd expect from a good McDonald's. The food was prepared quickly, so there was hardly any waiting time, which is especially nice during the lunch break. The service was particularly positive: The employees were friendly, attentive, and cheerful, which made the visit much more pleasant. The cleanliness was also top-notch, both in the dining area and in the restrooms, which is unfortunately not a given everywhere these days. All in all, a thoroughly successful visit. This is what you'd expect from a good McDonald's!

The little garbage man is constantly harassing the guests! Disgusting little rascal. I'm about to slap him in the face. Very damaging to business!!!!!!

Ordered a Double Big Mac. It was ready quickly, but not cooked correctly. The service was good; I received a new one right away.

One of the nicest McDonald's I've ever been to! Clean and nice furnishings, good atmosphere. Coffee came in ceramic cups. Food is decent.

Wednesday, June 4, 2025, 2:17 p.m. Staff rather unfriendly and flippant. The Chicken Big Mac was rather thrown together. Given the service and food quality, this was a definite no-go.

Had food delivered. Burger and fries were cold. The burger was flying around in pieces in my bag. The highlight was the long, black hair on the burger patty. The delivery also arrived very late. That wasn't food, that was simply an insult. I'm speechless.

Compared to other McDonald's restaurants, this one is quite nicely decorated. The selection and service are the same as at all other branches, but the young man who brought the food was very friendly.

A great store. Plenty of parking is available. The restrooms are very clean. I forgot something once, and there was no long discussion. It was replaced immediately and easily. :)

I'm not saying anything, the one with the giant birthmark was more than unfriendly. They were all students who wanted a few euros.

I don't know if you've already noticed, but we have right-hand traffic in Germany. This means cars park on the right if they have to wait. This also applies to McDonald's. What kind of VP planned the passage.

I was there spontaneously yesterday, but I have to say that the staff was really nice and friendly 👍🏻 and even though it was my first time there, I was really surprised that the employee even showed me where the toilets were because I didn't know where exactly they were supposed to be. 👍🏻 -> and not McDonald’s like in Weinheim Bergstrasse! The employees there are very unfriendly!!

The McDonald's is overall okay, just a typical McDonald's. There is also a small playground for the children.

Opening hours until 1:00 a.m. At 12:15 a.m., a chain, barely visible in the darkness, is already hanging in the driveway. There's also a curb in the driveway. The other entrance is blocked off by a barrier. Everyone inside is already cleaning up.

Dear McDonald’s team in Kilsheim Heidelberg, I would like to express my disappointment with your opening hours on weekends. It is very annoying that your restaurant closes at midnight and after that you can only order via McDrive. This excludes many customers who travel on foot or by bike. Especially on weekends, when a lot of people are out and about, it would be desirable for the restaurant to stay open longer or at least to be able to order indoors after midnight. Very nice McDonald’s. I usually visit during the week for breakfast or lunch. Staff is always kind, courteous, and respectful. Food is good for fast food. It’s consistent. There are some healthy options and the Cafe is always nice and stocked.

I can recommend it, the cleaning staff is very attentive and as soon as something is dirty they clean it up.

Check your MC Drive order before you go home... Forgotten toys, mixed up your order, the meat patty was completely missing from a burger... Employees are mostly okay, but a long-time employee (male) is becoming more and more the reason why you shouldn't eat there anymore. (unhöflich, polternd, teils handgreiflich)

Completely unsuitable staff throughout the store. Point 1 You order at the terminal and are interrupted and sent away because the “nice” cleaning person sends you away because he absolutely has to clean there now… Point 2. This “love” when it comes to burgers (see picture) is incredible. And you pay just under €15 for that This branch is rude. Actually, one star is too many for this juice shop.

It's just a McDonald's. Fast food for a lot of money... when I think about the fact that last Friday I had a huge piece of cod fillet with risotto and salad in a restaurant for €11 and today I had a burger and (cold) fries for €20... here comes it you start to ponder.

Ich bin aus Heidelberg, und der Service in diesen Mc Donalds ist furchtbar, Bedienung sind nie freundlich ausser 1 oder 2 Mitarbeiter, dann bekommt man zum Cappuccino kein Hahnen Wasser mehr dazu ,nur zu Espresso ergibt keinen Sinn ,ausserdem mittags Böden kleben Tische schmutzig ,es macht kein Spaß mehr in diesem Mc Donalds es sollten mehr Kontrollen erfolgen auch zwecks Sauberkeit der Toiletten ,ekelig, alles in allem fahre lieber zu Mc Donalds nach Kirchheim

Got food poisoning after eating there.......nausea, diarrhea, stomach aches & fever.

Even worse is it with the prices, irrational changes to the menu without drinks or without french fries? And even more expensive because of it. We're out! Sorry, but the toilets stink of urine, the floor is sticky, the tiles on the floor look awful. There is no one to wipe the tables anymore, in fact all the tables outside are dirty! At the prices that the Mackie now charges for the same performance as ever! Hardly any customers left, I'm no longer surprised!

Friendly staff, helped me with my coupons. The food is good, and the place is usually not too crowded. The toilets are very clean and the rest of the restaurant is also clean.

what can you say. it's just megges. But what unfortunately happens too often is that special requests for food are not taken into account due to intolerances and then I get food delivered that I can't eat and I then have to throw it away... I would really like that again see what is sent out :)

Sorry that I drove into the barrier chain, which was still stretched invisibly over the exit in a dark place after it opened ~7'10 / weekday. Luckily, after the chain had already taken half of the car, I noticed it and was shocked to free myself from it by reversing. My tip: Maybe you should remove the chain when you open and not just when the first customer drives into it. Something like that is incredibly careless 😒

A very dirty food and very strict employee and the Iranian employee is very disrespectful and just go there

My husband and I used to really enjoy ordering there. Today it was a no go. Burgers were cold and the nuggets were stone hard, as if they had been warmed up again in a microwave. After an event like that, I don't think we'll get something to eat there again and switch to the competition... it was a real shame...

We ate there on Sunday...afterwards I had nausea and severe stomach pain when I got home. This branch also has a problem with the lack of cleanliness: dirty toilets, dirty tables, garbage on the floor, etc. Absolutely cleaner than many other branches of this chain!!!

Unfortunately it is rather remote or a little bit away from the main train station as a pedestrian, but can definitely be reached within 15-20 minutes. Has a parking lot with around 15-20 spaces, has an integrated drive in and a McCafé. You get your food quickly, delivered to your table and the staff are friendly. Much cleaner than many other branches of this chain.

The opening hours are not right we only get food on the drive in we can not sit inside.

Sooo sports fans Unfortunately the food was cold today and the drinks were warm. The service was extremely unfriendly and we were given the wrong food despite the late time. When we asked we were insulted and we were turned away despite the receipt. The ambience was only worth 3 stars because a good friend accompanied me and calmed me down. My wife, our daughter and I went to this McDonalds late Tuesday afternoon. At the next table were two very nice women of advanced age who had been searching through the restaurant trash for carelessly thrown away competition stamps. My wife redeemed these tokens using her app, and when her limit was reached I used my app. Unfortunately we couldn't redeem all the tokens because the restaurant manager forbade this. It would be good for a company like McDonalds to serve a menu "pro bono" to those who are obviously in need without them having to dig through the trash. A disgrace in my eyes.

I don't leave comments often after McDonald's, but this one deserves 5 stars. Fast, clean, staff is smiling and friendly to kids. They have a small indoor kids corner and outside kids climbing for the most impatient guests.
