McDonald's in Ingolstadt

All good things come in threes. For the third and probably last time, I placed my order from the parking lot. Unfortunately, it took about half an hour each time, regardless of how busy the place was. Today again, I waited over 30 minutes, one burger was forgotten, and an extra topping on another burger was once again ignored. It's a shame, but their reliability leaves much to be desired. Maybe this is a sign that I should finally start eating a bit healthier. 😊

I've ordered so many times and always have to wait 20-40 minutes! I'm furious! I waited 30 minutes for my McSmall meal order, then suddenly my order number disappeared from the monitor. I asked a woman where my order was, but she knew nothing and had to keep asking. After almost 40 minutes, she finally gave me my order and told me to put the lid on the Coke myself! That's completely unacceptable! What kind of service is that? The renovation is all well and good, but the service and the staff are clearly incompetent. Sorry, so only 1 star!

We waited over half an hour for our food (with table service). When we complained, we were rudely told: "If you're already here, you can just take your food with you." Then we finally got it. Next disappointment: the drinks tasted like water, even though we ordered Coke and Sprite. I've never experienced anything like that at any McDonald's before.

I never imagined that a simple outing with my children would turn out to be so disappointing and frustrating. Instead of a relaxing visit to McDonald's, we were confronted with long wait times, defective and cold food, and disrespectful treatment. What's especially sad is that my children found the visit unpleasant and stressful – something I wish I could have spared them!

I gave 3 stars to the food cose I don't like the fast food's in general but the people here were really kind and smily. Even the service were fast. The atmosphere positive an relaxed. It was really nice to eat here! I can easily raccomand this place!!

You wait too long for your food

The ambiance is quite nice. However, I ordered a salad (shame on me), and these days they've even started skimping on the tomatoes and cucumbers in the salad. There are only leaves from the lettuce head left.

Incredibly friendly staff member (Nadja) and at 11:30 PM, too. Really nice staff, and given their friendliness (truly outstanding), I'd be happy to come back.

Since McDonald's Germany took over, you've been waiting 30 minutes or more for your food (fast food is something else for me). Furthermore, parts of the order are missing, and the staff is overwhelmed and unfriendly. I'd prefer to give it 0 stars.

Before the renovation, the service was great, but now you wait 30 minutes for a Big Mac. My friends and I wanted to go here for a normal meal. We all had a Big Mac meal. My friend and I got our food in about 30 minutes, but my other friend had to wait at least an hour. When the food was finally ready, four nuggets were missing, and we had to takeaway, but everything came on a tray.

Hello, I ordered a Big Tasty Bacon, but when I opened it, it was without bacon. It was a real shame I couldn't go back because I had to keep working. It's a real shame.

An employee told me that the wrap we wanted was available. When I tried to order it from an older gentleman, he gave it to me. When I pointed out that the colleague had claimed otherwise, the man suddenly started shouting at me in an incredibly rude manner. The employees worked in slow motion, and we had to wait forever. When we finally got it, the burger and coffee were lukewarm.

Mr. Thiel is truly a very good person; he brightened all of our days. I've never experienced such an attentive service employee at McDonald's before. This man definitely deserves a raise.

Since the renovations, you've been waiting over half an hour for your food. This place has nothing to do with a "quick fast food" restaurant anymore. Lieferando orders are constantly being prepared before the food customers order here! Absolutely outrageous. After about an hour of complaining, our order wasn't even on the screen anymore. It was quickly dealt with. But we weren't the only ones who had this problem; several orders weren't processed and were only processed after people arrived. I don't need a terminal where I can select table service for that.

Since the renovation, you have to wait forever for your food. Recently, even though the shop was empty, I waited 20 minutes for an ice cream. It always came during my lunch break. I can't do that anymore because it takes too long. You wait as long as in an expensive restaurant, usually 20-40 minutes.

We waited 40 minutes for our order, until we finally had to ask how long it would take. Only then did our food arrive promptly.

Since the branch was renovated, the place has unfortunately been a complete disaster. The staff shortage is clearly evident, as in other industries; here, cost-cutting measures have been taken once again. You now wait a full 25 minutes for a burger and 9-pack nuggets. And that's not enough: there isn't really a waiting area, and after 10 minutes of waiting, there are already 8 other people waiting in vain to pick up their orders. If you ask, you don't get a reasonable answer, so you keep waiting. The only thing that pleasantly surprised me is the option to place your order in the parking lot using the app, and it's then brought to your car. Funnily enough, you wait a fraction of the time here. Unfortunately, this applies to all branches that have been renovated.

Great! McDonald's restaurant. Chicken McNuggets are freshly prepared and delicious! I love going here. The Watermelon Sprite Fizz is really good and refreshing.

30min wait for a 2.50€ cheeseburger

The matcha I received was initially way too sweet and had warm milk in it, which didn't meet my expectations.

Since the renovation, it's been a disaster in terms of waiting times and ambiance. The parking situation was already terrible. Otherwise, the food is as good as it gets.

10.09 Forgetting a salad, a straw for your milkshake, or a toy—that's kind of understandable. But throwing toys on the customer's table and being happy about the compliment is a bit off the mark. It's a shame you can't give zero points.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other bad reviews. As someone so beautifully wrote, "It was already chaotic before the renovation, and now after it's terrible." We ordered a chocolate frappé, a vanilla milkshake, and a Sprite WITHOUT ice cream. We only received the first two; after waiting a few minutes and showing the receipt, we finally got the Sprite. What can I say about this mess? The frappé in the photo; no ice cubes! Tasted more like banana, coffee? No idea, and I found a small splash of chocolate sauce. The thing went in the trash. Thanks for nothing! The vanilla milkshake also tasted more like sour banana, and after a bit of stirring, it became tasteless. We live almost next door, but unfortunately, McDonald's is really a no-brainer. We hope the little bit we tried stays where it is 🤢🫣

The food was sometimes raw, and the customers there were very antisocial. But things have improved since the last renovation.

A whopping 25 minutes for a to-go order, and that's during the week. Nothing more needs to be said. The atmosphere is as cozy as an emergency room. The food was warm, but not what you'd call fast food. The branch has been unrecognizable since its third remodel and isn't recommended. I don't know what McDonald's was thinking...to scare away as many customers as possible?

This is truly outrageous!!!! A drink (hot chocolate) was ordered half an hour ago and not served! That can't happen in a fast-food restaurant! If the food doesn't arrive within a reasonable time, this can be considered poor performance or delay under civil law! If the waiting time is objectively too long, I have the right to set a deadline and then withdraw from the contract that was concluded when I ordered the food. In my opinion, the transaction was not properly fulfilled because the service was not provided within an unreasonable time. Therefore, I will not visit this establishment in the future and unfortunately cannot recommend it to anyone! Have a nice evening!

POOR SERVICE AND DISGUSTING STORE MANAGER. I ordered my food via terminal, paid, and waited at the table with my receipt (table service). My three friends at the table were served, but my food never arrived. After 20 minutes, I inquired. "Food will be here soon," was the response. Another 15 minutes passed. I inquired again, and they brazenly claimed my food had been brought to the table long ago. When I asked to speak to the store manager, she accused me of lying. This was despite the others who could testify that I was the only one who didn't receive any food. This woman was absolutely disrespectful. I expect an apology.

Coffee now comes from fully automatic machines instead of portafilter machines. When asked, the same excuse as always: it's so busy today, even though the shop is half empty.

Awful mess!!!! I had to wait 45 minutes for two cheeseburgers, every time. The burgers are just thrown in without any care, so the burger sits in the bag without any packaging. Since the McDonald's was remodeled, nothing's been going on. The employees are just standing around lazily in the kitchen. That was the last time!!!!!!!!

We waited for our order for over 30 minutes, with children, no one warned us. There are always a lot of people, the staff can't cope. The toilet is always dirty, there are no paper towels, and so often. They don't always give napkins with your order.

Unfortunately, McDonald's has deteriorated considerably. The food isn't what it used to be. Ordering is a disaster, and I tried to complain three times on our last visit. But no one understood us; German is out in this restaurant.

I'd actually like to give it 4 or 5 stars because everything was great before the renovation. Comfortable, no long waits, etc. Now the decor is very spartan, functional, and no longer inviting people to linger and come back... The parking lot has been reduced in size. The air conditioning and ventilation seem to be out of order, and the temperature is never pleasant. Additionally, the evening shifts (when Westpark closes) are sometimes so understaffed that waits of over half an hour are the norm. It's a real shame. For those coming from the south of Ingolstadt: Münchenerstraße!

It's McDonald's. What to expect? Fast shitty food with a normal atmosphere. But this one is the worst one yet. I went there 5 times (yes, i don't usually give bad reviews and always give second chances) they take almost an hour to prepare a simple request, especially in the evening. I once ordered a simple icecream, it took 40 minutes, and they gave me an ice-cream soup. How hard can it be to prepare chicken nuggets? Fry, count, send. It shouldn't take 50 minutes/1h. I blame the management. I don't think they hire enough people to do the job, especially in times of peak

Simone gave me a very warm welcome via mcdrive. No waiting time, fresh fries. I'm more than satisfied and enjoy going there.

You wait (even if you just order a coffee) for at least 30 minutes or more. The employees take their time, standing in the corner and preferring to be on their phones. Even at the checkout, no one comes for minutes. Orders pile up, but nobody cares. It's worth making a detour to the nearest Mekis. You'll still get your order faster.

Very long waiting times since renovation

In my entire life, I've never had a problem with McDonald's food. Here, the day before yesterday, I actually suffered from food poisoning. From repeated vomiting to constant diarrhea, as well as severe nausea and dizziness. I'll also report this to the Ingolstadt health department. A LOT has to go wrong for them to serve food that literally poisons their guests. (McCrispy Meal, 6-pack nuggets, chicken burger)

THE BEST OF ALL!! I went to McDonald's with my family today at 3:30 p.m. for coffee. The coffee and apple turnover were cold. We gave it back to him right away. 2 minutes later, a woman came back with it and said, "The coffee has been cold since the renovation. Everything's new. There's nothing I can do. The apple turnover also has to be cold so McDonald's doesn't get sued and no one gets burned." I asked for her name and the supervisor's number. I ignored her. I brought a new turnover, but the wrong one. It wasn't an apple turnover, but a pineapple turnover, and Mom had to sign for it. The turnover was lukewarm. The fries afterwards were hotter than the turnover itself, so we didn't have to sign anything.

We were just at the drive-thru! Everything went relatively quickly, and we went home. They forgot a burger worth €15. Absolutely hateful! Now we had to divide everything up so everyone had at least a little something to eat. This was really the last time. I've had enough. Dirty place!

I came from Nuremberg. This McDonald's is a night and day difference compared to those horrible ones in Nuremberg.

Since the renovations, this branch has become more like a company cafeteria. The typical McDonald's atmosphere is diminishing with each renovation. Apart from the outdoor play tower, there's not really anything on offer for children. The two or three "game boards" on the wall are completely forgettable. At least the kids used to have their own room with a ball pit, etc. The men's restroom is missing doorknobs; you almost break your fingers trying to open the door. The prices are also getting more and more outrageous. But then, renovations like this cost money. The staff are not friendly or helpful at all. You stand forever at the cash register asking for a lid for your drink so you can take it home. Everyone just looks at you, but no one even bothers to ask what you need. In the end, you had to help yourself behind the counter to get a lid for your cup. The only bright spot is the super nice lady in the wheelchair. She's always happy to help with any questions or problems. It's a shame that not everyone is like that.

How is it possible that since the renovations, you have to wait forever for your food, and if you order via the app but want to pay in cash, they just say "no cash register/cash payment" today? We ordered two 20-piece nuggets. Both boxes contained fewer than 20 nuggets. It was obvious at first glance, so we counted them. We then reported the error at the counter. We received two new portions. One of them again contained fewer than 20 nuggets. Either intentional or utter incompetence. You should definitely eat somewhere else.

Absolutely not recommended, the wait is sensational. Here, it's a whopping 15 minutes for a cheeseburger and nuggets! Then everything was thrown into the bag, so the fries were scattered everywhere, which, by the way, are also bad, since McDonald's apparently can't make crispy fries, unlike its competitors! I asked if someone could clean the table because there were pieces of tomatoes etc. all over the table. The waiter said yes, but no one came!!!

Things have gotten really bad after the renovation. I waited 20 minutes for a burger, then my order number simply disappeared from the board. It was in preparation the whole time, then it just disappeared. I spoke to the employee, but it was standing there, invisible, and it's cooled down by now. Very strange. Air conditioning broken, over 30 degrees outside. Two-lane McDrive, the entire exit blocked. The store has gotten worse over the past few years, especially since the renovation. Best regards.

The receipt was wet and smelled like garbage. I had to wait an extra 20 minutes because the employees gave the order to someone else without a receipt, so I had to redo it.

CATASTROPHE!!!!! -Waiting times of over half an hour (at a fast food chain???) -Totally messy (everything is lying around, nothing is cleared away, the tray racks are so full that you sometimes have to stack everything on top of each other) -Employees are extremely overwhelmed and don't have any motivation -During the last visit, the door was simply closed, even though the McDonald's was still open. When I asked about it, a person in charge (presumably the store manager) simply shrugged and said, "We just want to go home."

Since the McDonald's was renovated, the wait has been extremely long for food, or even to pay for it. The employees are extremely rude and incompetent, especially the brown-haired "manager." Generally, they can't get anything done, and the wait times are unbearable. Hardly anyone there speaks German well. Not worth a visit.

Chaos!!! For the second time Half of the ordering terminals are broken. Waiting time at checkouts is 15-20 minutes. Waiting time for the auto-drive is at least 30 minutes. Staff are rude and overworked.

The renovation is nice, but not well implemented; a cash register should have been installed for the second lane. Current trip at mcdrive lasts 1 hour.

Absolute joke. Only amateurs were working at the McDrive for 45 minutes. The manager should be fired immediately. Any store with such service should be closed immediately.

The nuggets were neither crispy nor fresh – a complete disappointment in terms of taste. Cleanliness and hygiene also left a lot to be desired. Overall, a very negative impression – definitely not a recommendation!

So this has nothing to do with fast food anymore... this is the second time in two weeks, and you can't get your food to go in under 30 minutes... and when you get home, you get a big surprise: at least two things are always missing... What a shame...

One of the worst experienced I ever had , 1hour and a half waiting for one burger.!!!

Waiting times are terrible - if you wait less than 45 minutes you don't get any food or you're forgotten!

Newly renovated branch. Extremely unattractive, like anonymous mass processing. Whoever approved the renovation just lost a regular customer. I recommend visiting one of the other branches with the old style. I was here again just now. The wait times are endless, and something's always missing. Embarrassing. Thankfully, the employees are friendly.

The dumpling isn't delivering anything! We've been waiting 50 minutes for our order (and this isn't the first time). I really don't know what's wrong! Is it because of the asylum seekers who come and work from the asylum center (if you can even call that work) or is it because of the large number of customers? I think the first is more likely.

Today I witnessed the horrible service again. If you can't do that, then you shouldn't implement table service in the system. For an order of just one cheeseburger and an iced coffee, I had to wait 26 minutes after paying. During the wait, I watched the employees working so slowly, carrying the trays one at a time to the staff room in pairs instead of putting them all in the designated carts and taking them all away at once. After 26 minutes, one of the employees brought me my order, which made me wonder why he was helping the other and not doing his actual job, and why not just me, but everyone else had to wait so long for their orders. It was busy, but not enough to justify the wait. This waiting time can only be justified by the employees' inefficient work practices! Simply abysmal!!! You ruin your business with employees like that! I hope that the parent company will carry out more frequent checks on the quality and service of this branch “Am Westpark 10, Ingolstadt”!

We ordered our food today at 10:35 p.m. on the touchpad and clicked on table service. When we still didn't have our food after 35 minutes, we were surprised and went to the cashier and saw that our food was waiting for us. We completely understand that they might be understaffed, but then please don't offer table service! The place has become a disaster since the renovation!

Unfortunately, I have to give it one star to even be able to rate it. This place is a complete disaster. The management needs to be replaced, or the shift manager, whatever the lady from today, June 17, 2025, the evening of, was! Our receipt from the terminal (order with table service) was from 6:34 p.m., and at 7:06 p.m., after asking several times, we were finally able to pick up our food ourselves at the front of the counter. The lady in the white blouse and scarf was standing there instead of helping the poor guy bring it to the table! The orders were processed in the wrong order; many who came after us finished their food before us! People who picked up their own food arrived after us and got their food after 10 minutes. The line at the McDrive-thru got longer and longer, and of course, there was absolute chaos outside in the parking lot because those who had ordered outside didn't get anything either. We felt so sorry for the employee who handed out the trays because he was the one who had to deal with so many people's frustrations. But he was really fast and gave it his best. Poor guy, that was the only positive aspect of the whole thing. He tried to make the most of what his colleagues in the kitchen messed up. But really, it was just the management, who, in my opinion, have no control over anything. I'd rather drive from Gaimersheim to Eriagstraße or Münchner Straße again! At least there you get an apology if things don't go smoothly. Or to the Burger King in Zuchering!!!! The restrooms are apparently only cleaned and checked after closing time. Fast food has a whole different meaning here!

Was there today... pure chaos. A ton of dissatisfied customers. Customers had been waiting over 30 minutes for their food. We had four ice creams and an iced coffee... we waited 20 minutes... those who came after us with similar items got their ice cream and iced coffee before us. The manager was totally rude and yelled at a customer just because she shared her frustration with other customers... the customer was escorted out... I've never seen anything like it... loss of control.

Horrible. Even before the renovations, this place was mostly chaos, but now it's absolutely terrible. You can now order food to be delivered to the parking lot – theoretically. I paid for my order in the app, but it never arrived. After 30 minutes, I finally went in. There's no point in talking to the employees; no one can help you here. When I asked for the shift manager, I spoke to her, but she also ignored me. After another 5 minutes, I was asked what I had ordered. I was then told, and without any response, the food arrived after another 5 minutes. No apology, pure ignorance, even from the shift manager. Other customers at the checkout who had also waited over 30 minutes were still ignored. The other reviews speak for themselves. This McDonald's either needs new management or needs to close. It's not doing its already bad reputation any good.
