McDonald's at Berlin Zoo I would advise against shopping at this McDonald's in Berlin. The cashier was constantly unmanned, and after speaking to the employees, they said they would be right there – but it took 20 minutes. Talk about fast food.

Totally unfriendly ad doesn't work then you would speak so quietly then you would say your opinion then you would be made to look stupid by the colleagues behind the cash register once and never again

Food okay. Toilet are under the condition of dissatisfied. The signs say donate 50 cents, but the doors are secured by codes and locks. In the women's toilet there was only blue light and everything was full of smoke from a cigarette...

Biggest snot ever. Never again. Everything was sticky and not nearly fresh. Last time in Germany.

My wife and I had a very disappointing experience at this location. When she politely asked a female employee for a straw, the employee responded by staring at us, frowning, and turning away without a word. We were left feeling ignored and disrespected. Regardless of the reason for this behavior, it significantly impacted our celebration of my wife's recent work achievement. This was our last visit to this McDonald's, and I cannot recommend a place that treats customers this way.

The bathroom was clean, the food I don't know.

There was no ice cream or milk drinks...we've never experienced that at McDonald's before. As an alternative, we opted for apple turnovers and waited almost 20 minutes to get them, even though there weren't many customers and the five or so employees were standing in the kitchen looking rather bored. I can't imagine what goes on here when the place is full.

A great place to hang out with an amazing ambiance. The outdoor seating is perfect in the summer, offering a relaxed vibe. The food is your typical American fast food — simple and satisfying.

Every time I’ve come here during the last 12 months, there is such an amazingly friendly bald guy at the cash desk! He deserves a medal, honestly.

I had a really shocking experience here last night. One cleaner was extremely rude and disrespectful. She just knocked over my drink without asking, and when I said I wasn't finished she suddenly said I'd "spent all day here" - even though I'd only been there an hour. I was just stunned that someone would treat guests like that. Luckily the other employees were nice and the manager was super friendly and professional. He apologized and had my food re-prepared. I really hope the staff gets better training. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable.

Quick and reliable option when you crave delicious fast food. The standard items like the Big Mac and fries are always tasty and well prepared. The staff is also generally friendly and helpful. A convenient place if you need a quick meal.

So we went there on a Sunday evening. There were atleast 3 homeless people sitting there doing nothing. It's so disturbing to think that they might have even sat on the tables where we were. I told this to the woman working at the counter, she then told her colleague who took a round to see and I specifically showed him where these people were, then he says he will "ask his Chef". And then he disappeared. They don't care about their customers

I was the order number on 01/26/25. 160 and had fries in addition to two chicken burgers. While I was eating, the taste seemed strange to me. I gulped it down anyway. About 5 hours later the food wanted to come out of all the openings again in an unplanned manner. That's why I asked you to check what went wrong. I've been with you a thousand times. But this time it was more frightening.

So the spot is nice at the train station, but there are often children smoking weed in front of the door. Service wasn't fast but it wasn't scary either. But without a thank you or some interaction, more than 2 stars is not possible. Now let's talk about the important part: the food! That was a punishment. Beef in the double chili cheeseburger and double cheeseburger tasted rancid and smelled musty (the food hygiene office should take a look). The chicken burger and wrap were okay. Still, for almost €20 all together, it's a disgrace.

Weird thing happened, not for the first time. I ordered at 1.51 pm. At 1.52 pm, I can't even make a photo of my number passing by on the display anymore. At 1.56 pm, my food arrives. The taste is quite good, tho, and the reusable glass design is more my taste than the white one.

Fries were super soft and hardly any salt in them. Cheeseburger hardly has any ketchup, only about 1-2 pieces of cucumbers in it. Tastes very dry. I wouldn't shop here again. I'd rather go to another McDonald's. But not here anymore.

What I experienced here today is an absolute disgrace. I'll keep it short. I wanted to go to the toilet first and then eat something. The woman who acts as security in front of the toilets stopped me without warning and called an employee. She claimed I did this often and he threatened to report me or call the police because I probably hadn't bought anything. Then he forced me to place an order. Honestly, that's a huge disgrace. Large fast food restaurant with many ordering machines

Ordered today via the app and just have to wait for the order - no problem. But it would be nice if the processing numbers were displayed further back in the restaurant or the status could be seen in the app. Super nice gentleman (bald) at the cash register, food is brought to the table, burgers lukewarm, the rest was good. What's not good is that I have to pay if I want to go to the toilet, I'm a guest and I expect that I can use the toilet for free.

After my visit to the restaurant, as a pregnant woman, I urgently wanted to use the toilets, but the toilet employee in charge wanted her money in advance and wouldn't let me pass. I have never been treated so poorly as a human being or as a guest. The payment was of secondary importance to me at that moment because of course I paid afterwards, even if guests don't have to pay according to McDonald's, but the lady didn't want to know anything about it. So if you have a weak bladder or are pregnant, it's better to choose another restaurant and save yourself the stress. I think scaring customers away like that is a special achievement.

I understand that working in customer service can be stressful. However, an older Asian lady (possibly a manager since the other employees asked for her advice and she had a general key) was rude and screaming at all the customers when each customer asked her a simple question. She said that she needed to take care of 20 orders alone, which is not inconsequential information to overwhelm customers. She could have communicated with the customers nicely and simply quickly answered or referred them to one of her colleagues. If she keeps up her horrendous behaviour towards the customers, then she should be reprimanded or is better off finding alternative employment. In addition, the place is chaotic and badly organized with a long waiting time. This particular place is open 24/7 and the management should already know the peak time from experience. Therefore, it should hire more personnel, especially during the peak hours. Furthermore, it should also provide better training of employees in interpersonal communication, stress management, and conflict management, aside from better comprehension of German and English.

Once again I forgot a burger when ordering. As soon as you order more than 4 things, something is missing... I find it really annoying when they don't always pack items worth 7 euros+.

Quite large with some quite comfortable seats and benches. There are places with sockets available. Card payment is preferred as there was no one at the checkout. Many guests who stay there longer. There is also a terrace without seats (Oct 2024). The toilet can only be entered with a receipt. The light there is neon blue - understandable, at the Zoo station.

Next, when I approached the checkout, it took me quite a long time to place my order. The line was moving slowly, and I noticed that the cashiers were not very attentive and were in no hurry to serve customers. I got the impression that the staff are not trained to work effectively under pressure. When it was my turn, I ordered the standard set: a burger, fries and a drink. No special requests or changes to the order. It would seem nothing complicated. However, when I finally received my order, I was very disappointed. The burger looked unappetizing: the bread was dry and there was very little filling. All the ingredients were scattered and didn't look fresh. Instead of the delicious dish I expected, I received something that did not meet the quality standards I expected from such a large chain. The fries were too salty and lacked crunch, and the drink was flat. I tried to get the staff's attention to solve the problem, but they were busy and did not respond to my attempts. After all this, I decided to wait a bit and see how other diners reacted to their food. Unfortunately, I noticed that many customers also expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of the food. Nowadays there are many places where you can buy takeaway food and in most cases it will be much tastier and with better service. I expected that for my money I would get at least an acceptable meal, but unfortunately this did not happen. As a result, I was left not only hungry, but also very disappointed. After all of the above, I realized that I did not want to return to this McDonald's. Perhaps I was just unlucky that day, but such things should not happen in such a famous and popular place. I hope that the chain's management will pay attention to these issues and take steps to improve the quality of service and food. Otherwise, they risk losing customers who are looking not only for a quick meal, but also for an enjoyable experience. In conclusion, my experience at McDonald's left me with a negative impression. I understand that fast food is not always ideal food, but I expected more from such a famous brand. Cleanliness, quality of food and level of service are the basic aspects that any restaurant, especially one like McDonald's, should focus on. She was really about to push me when I had to go back to get my wallet, because by that moment I still didn't have the receipt. But I had money and paid. To my remark, in return to her rudeness, that in case the customer is pregnant/ handicapped/ ha s problems with health and does not have at the moment 50 cent in hand, the woman answered that " Es juckt nicht ". After communication with such people the image of friendly tolerant Berlin sufferers a lot.

Horrendous. Machines are always broken and never work (over time span of a year they have NEVER been fixed), app is now broken as well and won't start 2/3 of times so making an order was a pain in you-know-where. Staff members don't know what they're supposed to do. AC kinda exists (I think so?) but they open doors and there are a ton of people so it barely changes anything. Also owned by a notorious franchisee which tries to block bad reviews with legal threats.

Had a long hard day. Wanted to order around 2345. All relevant coupons activated in the app. 1. Terminal needs 20 attempts to scan the code. It's so slow that only every 5th tap on the display is accepted after about 20-30 seconds. 2. Terminal a little faster but not really better. So I didn't order anything. If placing the order simply takes more than 5 minutes due to technology, that's just stupid. There was also no ice cream or milkshakes.

Either walk up the old-looking floating staircase from the street to the McDonald's branch on the first floor. Or down into the elevator. I saw that, but used the outside stairs. The McDonald's branch is long and has lots of seats. There are the familiar order displays and, in addition to the self-pickup area, there are also a few “old” cash registers. I ordered via the app with delivery information directly to the table. Worked very well! Food/Drinks: As known. Then finally turn on the ceiling lighting in the rooms with the toilets: blue light. The food was OK and the waiting time was also good, but the hygienic conditions are unacceptable. I was so shocked that my body suddenly refused to breathe and I didn't even manage to take a photo to prove it, because no one would believe the extent of it and, above all, something like this doesn't happen so widely in just a few hours Room (we were there in the morning). You have to neglect cleanliness for a long time. It's been over five weeks since the visit and I understand the McD's special location (of course there's a certain clientele hanging out at the train station), but ever since seeing this I've been getting PTSD-like flashbacks whenever I enter public toilets. The visit took place on Saturday, the evening of August 17, 24.

Well. Disgusting experience. In order to use sanitary service for a child who was in hurry, my friend asked if she could first use the bathroom & then find hard coin as its urgent. It was a woman responsible for it and embarrassingly impolite & rude didn’t let the child use the toilet till she pay. It took all in all 3-4 minutes but its hard to forget the disgusting behavior of the woman shouting jetz jetz jetzt. Cant just believe these people still exist and are responsible even for sanitary money collecting with totally rude behavior. Definitely a very bad experience.

Yes, it's busy. It's above a busy train station near to a famous zoo. No toilet in restaurant so you have to go downstairs to the station. I found the level of service quite good and comparable to other European countries. I found it easy to order as I was able to use the self order in English and pay by card. The McRib looked a mess but it was fresh, hot and delicious smothered in bbq sauce : better than in my English hometown where 70% of my orders are wrong, missing something or a bit cold. I've reduced my home orders to rarely , when desperate, as Im tired of complaining. The milkshake here was lovely, not the icy mush we get in the UK. I had given up at the Checkpoint Charlie branch who were persisting to run out of items, and the Mall of Berlin who close their doors to orders with other eateries around 8.30pm. I agree some tables need cleaning of crumbs but I managed and was satisfied overall. This was my one experience of this Berlin Zoo/train station branch and I am giving it a well done and thumbs up. The first McRib I had was also in Germany a few decades ago! The peach-vanilla pie was also nice but we didn't like the pizza pockets much.
