Yes, it's busy. It's above a busy train station near to a famous zoo. No toilet in restaurant so you have to go downstairs to the station. I found the level of service quite good and comparable to other European countries. I found it easy to order as I was able to use the self order in English and pay by card. The McRib looked a mess but it was fresh, hot and delicious smothered in bbq sauce : better than in my English hometown where 70% of my orders are wrong, missing something or a bit cold. I've reduced my home orders to rarely , when desperate, as Im tired of complaining. The milkshake here was lovely, not the icy mush we get in the UK. I had given up at the Checkpoint Charlie branch who were persisting to run out of items, and the Mall of Berlin who close their doors to orders with other eateries around 8.30pm. I agree some tables need cleaning of crumbs but I managed and was satisfied overall. This was my one experience of this Berlin Zoo/train station branch and I am giving it a well done and thumbs up. The first McRib I had was also in Germany a few decades ago! The peach-vanilla pie was also nice but we didn't like the pizza pockets much.

It's an ok McDonald's. You don't need to pay 50 cents for the toilets, it's a donation. But they make it seem necessary to scam tourists.

Homlesses are sitting right on the stairs of entrance to the restaurant. 2/5 order panel are not working! Not responding to touches, or delaying touches for a minute and you cannot understand a thing! Kitchen just lost my order…it was not on the screen - 1, they should cook it from the beginning while I was waiting for 7 minutes already - 2, they didn’t even apologize- 3

We were not allowed onto the terrace, although people were sitting there and eating, and there were many empty tables, but when we tried to go in we were told that it was closed. The employee did not explain anything and simply left when we wanted to find out why we were not allowed on the terrace. Matam, heat and waste interaction

An espresso for €3.50 is simply freedom. When I asked if that was true, an employee cheekily told me that I had to know first.

I'm stinking mad. I just ordered a chicken burger to take away because my train was leaving. There was no activity in the restaurant, nothing going on. The employees had nothing to do except prepare a chicken burger. I'm sitting on the train now and realize that they've packed me a cheeseburger. How can you have nothing to do, just serve a customer and then make such a mistake. This is totally unprofessional 👎

I am absolutely disappointed with the service! I rarely say that about a fast food restaurant because you can't go wrong here, but today was one of those days where it was just a disaster. The finished numbers were not displayed on the screen, only the numbers were called out. So if you sit a little further away or have background noise, you won't notice it. That's why a menu and an ice cream stood there abandoned. Then four numbers were activated in one fell swoop and no one feels responsible for any of them. The employee who then distributes doesn't look for the food of those waiting, but rather takes one that is there, so I easily waited 2 minutes despite the number being called. Then I realize I made a mistake when ordering and didn't check take-away. I point this out to the employee and he very listlessly puts a bag in front of me and doesn't give me a lid for the drink. As I'm packing up I notice that both of them! Burgers are so poorly packaged that they are actually half unpackaged. That is not how it works! If the shop wasn't clean and nothing was broken and I hadn't made a mistake myself, I would only give 1 star! It was disappointing! Addition: The chili cheeseburger had half a jalapeno on it. This is really wrong. Therefore only 2 stars. Only the one at the main train station in Hanover is worse!

It is located in one of the busiest and dirtiest neighborhoods is Berlin. They try to keep there clean. The staff behaves seemingly good but they are so busy so don't expect to have a perfect service. As the food and drinks are cheap, the passengers with low budget prefer to come this place and they are usually dirty and leave tables with lots of dirt. I usually get coffees and drinks from this branch, because their quality is same in the all branches. I didn't try the food.

One of the largest in Berlin, but perhaps they should hire security guards so that no homeless people come into the store.

I ordered a strawberry milk shake with chocolate sauce and it came with caramel instead of chocolate sauce. I went and got a vanilla shake with chocolate sauce. The third time I got the right one.

The atmosphere is bad because of the drunks

I would actually give stars for service. You order chicken nuggets and a cheeseburger and after waiting for over 45 minutes you get plant nuggets and a hamburger. Exchanges or complaints were not possible, none of the employees felt responsible. These plant nuggets have a very tasty consistency and the taste makes you want to gag, otherwise I would have eaten them.

The place was quite unclean, with dirty tables and surfaces covered in stains. Additionally, the food was terrible.

The cashier was a super friendly and funny guy! Food was ready very quickly. Toilet was okay, but the cleaning lady caused a bit of stress because there were obviously a lot of "non-guests" there.

So it only got 2 stars because it was "relatively" quick for the amount of people (7 minutes from order to delivery). But to be honest...I ordered an iced coffee...that also includes ice cubes. What's more, the coffee itself wasn't even completely cold. It really makes you wonder what you get when you order a burger... A bun without a patty?

sorry to say that but i have to, this is the worst Macdonalds experience that i ever had in my life. I came late night around 12am. There was a-lot homeless and drunk people near the restaurant. So stay alert. The restaurant is not clean, alcohol bottles all over the place. I ordered Crispy chicken breast meal.The chicken arrived burnt. I barely ate it. I asked one of the workers in English (I am a tourist) about the Toilette code. And he answered me in German, I asked him to say it in English so can i understand and he refused, luckily there was a customer who translated for me. It's absurd that a McDonald's employee behaves like this. sub level of a place.

Fast food with a 15 minute wait for a wrap is a joke. They press that my number is ready and has already been picked up, probably for the statistics of how fast they are, but I still had to wait another 10 minutes. Scrambled eggs were cold and the wrap wasn't even put together properly but was heartlessly thrown into the bag. I had more scrambled eggs in the bag than on the wrap. It's a shame that I was pressed for time and the taxi was waiting downstairs, otherwise I would have taken it back to the shop instead of in the bin. I work without gloves, the employee coughs into her hands and packs up my food. I don't know if the health department would be happy with this?

They don't know their own offer. Supposedly free muffin with corresponding coffee, latte, etc. This wasn't given to me. I showed it to them on their own website. Referred to my receipt. Pointless. If the staff barely speaks German, that's one thing. But you should know your own offers.

Good morning, as a McDonald's consumer I believe that this is the worst McDonald's I have ever tried. The food was terrible, I ordered a custom sandwich and a completely different sandwich arrived, plus the meat was very dry. The tables and chairs were very dirty and the service was mediocre

A complete juice shop!!! It says ready for pickup, but I had to wait 20 minutes for my order for the second time. Do not make an order ready for pickup if it is not ready or has even been forgotten! I'm from Bavaria and was here for the 2nd and last time. Not recommendable!!!

Big advantage: open 24 hours a day. Whatever time you go, the meal is hot, served quickly and without any oversights/mistakes. The area is a bit disreputable and so is the clientele.

Actually a nice shop in the city on Hardenbergplatz. The service is good, so far all employees have been friendly to me when I placed an order in advance on my cell phone in the McDonald's app and then paid at the checkout on site!! If anything was unclear, I was helped quickly and competently. The food was brought to my table upon request - but it is not a permanent service from the house. Normally, the customer has to pick up the food they have ordered and the number at the food counter. I'm deducting a star because, in my opinion, the toilet management isn't being carried out quite as well now. Previously, if you had a proof of purchase from McDonald's, you could show the receipt and use the restroom for free. Now it's regulated by the contractual partner, you have to pay €0.50 if you haven't eaten or drunk anything!!! This is sometimes very unfortunate when you urgently need to go to the toilet and then, because of your excitement, you don't manage to go there in time. I can understand the toilet tenant, but to answer me that I can only use the toilet once within an hour is very bold. And then, after 1 hour, asking me for €0.50 strikes me as harnebueschen. I didn't do this or pay for it, so I had to resist it and go to the place at home last. Thank God the way back wasn't that far away. Other guests will have experienced something similar to me. If I could, I wouldn't give any stars at all. The employees don't really listen when you make orders. Then the employee argues and says I ordered the wrong thing or ordered something different. Plus, the burgers were cold and inedible and we didn't feel like having a discussion anymore because the shift managers and employees were absolutely unable to have a sensible conversation. Actually, one could think that the franchisee has retained the same standards as at Tauentzien back then. After all these years, I found out again why people don't eat at McDonald's anymore.

Food is always the same in every branch. Only the location is decisive for the map. Small location, few products.

The positive: the employees are friendly. And until the day before yesterday you could also get cappuccino with oat milk. Since McCafe is rarely busy, I have been using the machine for a long time. Nice location, but the toilet situation is impossible. After a long meal I even went to the toilet with a receipt and was turned away there with reference to the fact that the receipt was older than an hour (we had a leisurely breakfast) and was supposed to pay 50 cents as a GUEST. I think it's a disgrace that paying guests have to pay fees for the toilets. Other reviews confirm that I'm not the only one this has happened to. Change something!

Very busy McDonald's but food was hot and fast

Larger order placed for take out. Unfortunately I made the mistake of not checking whether everything was in there. Later noticed that 2 burgers were completely missing, but they were paid for in full. I'm beyond annoyed.

Worse McDonalds in the city !! Order 4 burgers waited 20 mins. 9 people who orders after me there ticket / collection number called before mine. When asked where my food was I was told Tonawanda back and wait! I counted 17 people in the kitchen talking joking and walking as slow as possible. Zero cares about customers. Just a joke ! Asked for a bag and travel tray for my drinks. Which seemed to much for the server to do. Food was cold and wasted like cardboard box.

The burgers were nice and juicy and, amazingly, the milkshake machine has been running for 3 months without any problems. Only the toilets, which you can really kick into the garbage chute, are so dirty so I'd rather go and pee behind the garbage cans at baggage handling. The toilet lady seriously needs to be fired she doesn't do her job at all "brrrtsch KOTZ!!"

The location doesn't really help the general tarnished image and neither do the bums who are tolerated there. Maybe the concept should be changed here and only care for the homeless.

After I ate at this place, they refused to let me use the restroom without money (I didn't have any cash). Although I asked the restroom worker if restaurant customers really had to pay. I was told this is mandatory. Although McDonald's representatives have repeatedly promised on their website to solve the toilet problem, nothing has changed.

Dienstags um 13 Uhr war es angenehm leer. Was völlig unüblich für den Standort ist.

Bei meinem letzten Besuch gab es eigentlich nur 2 Probleme: die Mitarbeiter lesen die Bestellungen nicht richtig; ich habe nach 2 Getränke ohne Eis gefragt, doch mit Eis erhalten. Das zweite wird wahrscheinlich etwas 'ehrenlos' von mir aber so weit ich es verstanden habe wollte ein Gast die Bestellung nicht mehr, die Mitarbeiter haben die ganze große Bestellung einfach in den Müll geschmissen... Meiner Meinung etwas gedankenlos :(

Bin abgehärtet aber hier ist es echt abartig. Überall sitzen, schlafen oder liegen Obdach lose oder Junk ies und sorgen für einen beißenden Gestank wie in der Gosse. Andere Gäste wurden aggressiv angebettelt. Ich gehe freiwillig draußen pink eln. Wieso keine Security ?!?

Nie wieder ! Für ein mal auf WC 50 Cent, habe ich nicht gezahlt, wurde wieder weg geschickt !!! Musste aber dringend aufs WC ! Darauf beim verlassen, habe ich einer Putzfrau ,ein pommes vor die Füße geworfen, und sagte ihr ,hier hast du noch was zum fegen,und schüttete mein Rest Cola auf dem Tisch . Das war meine Danksagung, weil ich nicht ohne Bezahlung auf WC gehen durfte !

Eigentlich ein sehr schönes mcdonalds. Die Lage ist natürlich für Reisende super, das Publikum au weia. Wenn sich da Gruppen von seltsamen Leuten einnisten und das Personal sie gewähren lässt, verstehe ich das einerseits, anderer seits ist es beängstigend. Wir haben dann Laden aus einem andern Ausgang verlassen als wir reingekommen sind, da wir uns beobachtet gefühlt haben und der Seiteneingang nicht sicher wirkt

Die Sauberkeit lässt langsam nach. Der Fahrstuhl stank und war dreckig. Sehr freundliches Personal, große Auswahl, angenehme Inneneinrichtung, gute Sitzplätze, barrierefrei, Kasse und Selbstbedienungsterminals (die langsam reagieren und auch nicht unbedingt sauber sind).

Mc blisko zoo, ogromny plus że jest czynne całą dobę. Widok z góry na zoo, przy sporej ilości ludzi, zamówienie szybko podane przez obsługę pod stolik.

Ich bin bereit alles bestellen und WC Code haben. Aber muss ich trotzdem für Toilette 50 Cent bezahlen. Das ist nicht normal.

Das Essen war kalt und schmeckte ganz eckelig. Fast schon von gestern.

Erst haben wir 20 Minuten auf unser Essen gewartet. Dann war das Essen kalt. Kurz nachdem wir die letzte kalte Pommes verdrückt hatten, wurden wir gebeten unseren Tisch zu verlassen um Platz für neue Gäste zu machen. Es ist nicht so, dass wir lange gesessen haben. Wie gesagt waren wir quasi noch am Essen als uns die Tablets mit halb vollen Getränken vom Tisch gezogen wurden. Der McDonald’s Mitarbeiter meinte dann noch:„Sorry Bruder.“ Dabei bin ich mir ziemlich sicher, dass wir nicht den gleichen Vater oder die gleiche Mutter haben. So sollten Mitarbeiter eines Weltkonzerns mit den Gästen nicht sprechen. Anstand und vernünftige Umgangsformen Fehlanzeige. Naja war der letzte Besuch in einem McDonald’s Schnellrestaurant in Deutschland.

Geschrieben im Dezember 2023: Sehr freundlicher hilfsbereiter Service, bei großem Andrang werden Sitzplätze knapp, mehrere Terminals zum digitalen bestellen, Speisen kamen schnell und waren heiß und lecker, Toiletten sauber. Gute Lage, mit verschiedenen öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen.

It was a terrible place. There were h*meless people, dr*nks and pr*stitutes. Since we were cold while waiting for the train, we went inside and got coffee. A drunk man pulled down his pants and urinated. The employee didn't clean up urine. Another dr*nk man swore at a black man. The police came and kicked out the h*meless and dr*nks. It was literally like a nightmare.

Das Mc Donald' s ist am Bahnhof Zoo, Hardenbergplatz 11, in 10623 Berlin gelegen. Die Atmosphäre ist dort sehr angenehm und das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön. Insoweit hält die vorbezeichnete Lokalität ein reichhaltiges Sortiment an Getränken und Speisen vor. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr wertvoll. Generell geh ich sehr selten zu McDonald's da ich weiß wie gut das Qualität vom Fleisch ist. Wenn ich hingehe, dann nur weil ich keine Zeit für ein Döner hab. Sonst sind die Burger meistens auch schlecht belegt (Käse ist nie in der Mitte, Soße ist nicht richtig verteilt...) Letztens habe ich die 20er Chicken Nuggets bestellt und nur 19 Stück bekommen. (Konnte mich nicht mehr beschweren da ich schnell weiter musste). Manchmal waren die Nuggets gefühlt angebissen worden....

Saubere Filiale, schöne große Fenster mit super Ausblick auf einer der schönsten Orte Berlins. Bestellen an der Maschine hat super funktioniert, auch auf französisch. Komm gerne wieder!

At 6:00 AM, tables were not clean. Croissant was wet and without layers from inside. Chocolate milk was so sweet. And they brought in take away cups while we didn't ask for it. Overall zero star if it was possible.
