We had to wait half an hour for our food and on top of that everything was cold and it was full. Most people come here just to sit and charge their cell phones instead of making room for people who want to eat. The staff said that but no one responded

McDonald's is one of the most famous fast food brands in the world, but my recent experience there left me with a lot of negative impressions. The first thing that struck me was the general condition of the restaurant. As soon as I entered I was greeted by an unkempt environment. The tables were dirty and there were wrappers and other food leftovers on the floor. I understand that the establishment can be busy, but cleanliness is a basic requirement, especially in the restaurant industry. It felt as if the staff simply didn't care about their jobs and didn't try to create a comfortable atmosphere for the guests. Next, when I approached the checkout, it took me quite a long time to place my order. The line was moving slowly, and I noticed that the cashiers were not very attentive and were in no hurry to serve customers. I got the impression that the staff are not trained to work effectively under pressure. When it was my turn, I ordered the standard set: a burger, fries and a drink. No special requests or changes to the order. It would seem nothing complicated. However, when I finally received my order, I was very disappointed. The burger looked unappetizing: the bread was dry and there was very little filling. All the ingredients were scattered and didn't look fresh. Instead of the delicious dish I expected, I received something that did not meet the quality standards I expected from such a large chain. The fries were too salty and lacked crunch, and the drink was flat. I tried to get the staff's attention to solve the problem, but they were busy and did not respond to my attempts. After all this, I decided to wait a bit and see how other diners reacted to their food. Unfortunately, I noticed that many customers also expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of the food. Some complained that the burgers were cold, others that they were not served what they ordered. This created an atmosphere of general disappointment and dissatisfaction. Another negative point was the level of service. I didn't expect high service in fast food, but in this case the situation was simply terrible. The waiters and cashiers looked tired and indifferent. I didn't notice a single smile or greeting, which ultimately made my visit less enjoyable. A smile and polite communication are something that is always pleasant, even in the most ordinary establishment. In this case, I felt like I was just stopping them from doing their job. In addition, I noticed that during my stay in the restaurant, the staff did not ensure that used dishes and garbage were removed. This created not only an unkempt appearance, but also undermined the overall image of the establishment. Looking at this, one could assume that management does not pay enough attention to training its employees and does not care about how the establishment looks. In addition to this, the prices of the dishes were a bit high compared to the quality I received. Nowadays there are many places where you can buy takeaway food and in most cases it will be much tastier and with better service. I expected that for my money I would get at least an acceptable meal, but unfortunately this did not happen. As a result, I was left not only hungry, but also very disappointed. After all of the above, I realized that I did not want to return to this McDonald's. Perhaps I was just unlucky that day, but such things should not happen in such a famous and popular place. I hope that the chain's management will pay attention to these issues and take steps to improve the quality of service and food. Otherwise, they risk losing customers who are looking not only for a quick meal, but also for an enjoyable experience. In conclusion, my experience at McDonald's left me with a negative impression. I understand that fast food is not always ideal food, but I expected more from such a famous brand. Cleanliness, quality of food and level of service are the basic aspects that any restaurant, especially one like McDonald's, should focus on. I hope that in the future they will be able to correct their mistakes and regain the trust of customers.

She was really about to push me when I had to go back to get my wallet, because by that moment I still didn't have the receipt. But I had money and paid. To my remark, in return to her rudeness, that in case the customer is pregnant/ handicapped/ ha s problems with health and does not have at the moment 50 cent in hand, the woman answered that " Es juckt nicht ". After communication with such people the image of friendly tolerant Berlin sufferers a lot.

Horrendous. Machines are always broken and never work (over time span of a year they have NEVER been fixed), app is now broken as well and won't start 2/3 of times so making an order was a pain in you-know-where. Staff members don't know what they're supposed to do. AC kinda exists (I think so?) but they open doors and there are a ton of people so it barely changes anything. Also owned by a notorious franchisee which tries to block bad reviews with legal threats.

Self service kiosks are horribly slow and too few of them for the amount of people coming in. Tables were not cleaned properly overall not a very pleasant experience.

Had a long hard day. Wanted to order around 2345. All relevant coupons activated in the app. 1. Terminal needs 20 attempts to scan the code. It's so slow that only every 5th tap on the display is accepted after about 20-30 seconds. 2. Terminal a little faster but not really better. So I didn't order anything. If placing the order simply takes more than 5 minutes due to technology, that's just stupid. There was also no ice cream or milkshakes.

Either walk up the old-looking floating staircase from the street to the McDonald's branch on the first floor. Or down into the elevator. I saw that, but used the outside stairs. The food was OK and the waiting time was also good, but the hygienic conditions are unacceptable. The tables were mostly dirty, there was stuff lying around on the floor and the trolleys for the trays were all full except for two. But the biggest hammer were the toilets. Guys... seriously... I couldn't imagine something like that even in my nightmares. The toilets looked as if the herd of elephants from the nearby zoo had given free rein to their diarrhea. I was so shocked that my body suddenly refused to breathe and I didn't even manage to take a photo to prove it, because no one would believe the extent of it and, above all, something like this doesn't happen so widely in just a few hours Room (we were there in the morning). You have to neglect cleanliness for a long time. It's been over five weeks since the visit and I understand the McD's special location (of course there's a certain clientele hanging out at the train station), but ever since seeing this I've been getting PTSD-like flashbacks whenever I enter public toilets. If you open a shop like this in such an environment and such problems arise, cleaning staff MUST be on site 24/7, anything else is unreasonable for the guests.

The orders weren't very special or different from the advanced orders. I therefore suspect an error in the computer system. The food was OK. The service was very overwhelmed. The visit took place on Saturday, the evening of August 17, 24.

Well. Disgusting experience. In order to use sanitary service for a child who was in hurry, my friend asked if she could first use the bathroom & then find hard coin as its urgent. It was a woman responsible for it and embarrassingly impolite & rude didn’t let the child use the toilet till she pay. It took all in all 3-4 minutes but its hard to forget the disgusting behavior of the woman shouting jetz jetz jetzt. Cant just believe these people still exist and are responsible even for sanitary money collecting with totally rude behavior. Definitely a very bad experience.

Yes, it's busy. It's above a busy train station near to a famous zoo. No toilet in restaurant so you have to go downstairs to the station. I found the level of service quite good and comparable to other European countries. I found it easy to order as I was able to use the self order in English and pay by card. The McRib looked a mess but it was fresh, hot and delicious smothered in bbq sauce : better than in my English hometown where 70% of my orders are wrong, missing something or a bit cold. I've reduced my home orders to rarely , when desperate, as Im tired of complaining. The milkshake here was lovely, not the icy mush we get in the UK. I had given up at the Checkpoint Charlie branch who were persisting to run out of items, and the Mall of Berlin who close their doors to orders with other eateries around 8.30pm. I agree some tables need cleaning of crumbs but I managed and was satisfied overall. This was my one experience of this Berlin Zoo/train station branch and I am giving it a well done and thumbs up. The first McRib I had was also in Germany a few decades ago! The peach-vanilla pie was also nice but we didn't like the pizza pockets much.

I'm stinking mad. I just ordered a chicken burger to take away because my train was leaving. There was no activity in the restaurant, nothing going on. The employees had nothing to do except prepare a chicken burger. I'm sitting on the train now and realize that they've packed me a cheeseburger. I am absolutely disappointed with the service! I rarely say that about a fast food restaurant because you can't go wrong here, but today was one of those days where it was just a disaster. The finished numbers were not displayed on the screen, only the numbers were called out. So if you sit a little further away or have background noise, you won't notice it. That's why a menu and an ice cream stood there abandoned. Then four numbers were activated in one fell swoop and no one feels responsible for any of them. The employee who then distributes doesn't look for the food of those waiting, but rather takes one that is there, so I easily waited 2 minutes despite the number being called. Then I realize I made a mistake when ordering and didn't check take-away. I point this out to the employee and he very listlessly puts a bag in front of me and doesn't give me a lid for the drink. As I'm packing up I notice that both of them! Burgers are so poorly packaged that they are actually half unpackaged. That is not how it works! It is located in one of the busiest and dirtiest neighborhoods is Berlin. They try to keep there clean. The staff behaves seemingly good but they are so busy so don't expect to have a perfect service. As the food and drinks are cheap, the passengers with low budget prefer to come this place and they are usually dirty and leave tables with lots of dirt. I usually get coffees and drinks from this branch, because their quality is same in the all branches. I didn't try the food.

I ordered a strawberry milk shake with chocolate sauce and it came with caramel instead of chocolate sauce. I went and got a vanilla shake with chocolate sauce. The third time I got the right one.

I would actually give stars for service. You order chicken nuggets and a cheeseburger and after waiting for over 45 minutes you get plant nuggets and a hamburger. Exchanges or complaints were not possible, none of the employees felt responsible. These plant nuggets have a very tasty consistency and the taste makes you want to gag, otherwise I would have eaten them.

The cashier was a super friendly and funny guy! Food was ready very quickly. Toilet was okay, but the cleaning lady caused a bit of stress because there were obviously a lot of "non-guests" there.

sorry to say that but i have to, this is the worst Macdonalds experience that i ever had in my life. I came late night around 12am. There was a-lot homeless and drunk people near the restaurant. So stay alert. The restaurant is not clean, alcohol bottles all over the place. I ordered Crispy chicken breast meal.The chicken arrived burnt. I barely ate it. I asked one of the workers in English (I am a tourist) about the Toilette code. And he answered me in German, I asked him to say it in English so can i understand and he refused, luckily there was a customer who translated for me. It's absurd that a McDonald's employee behaves like this. sub level of a place.

So it only got 2 stars because it was "relatively" quick for the amount of people (7 minutes from order to delivery). But to be honest...I ordered an iced coffee...that also includes ice cubes. What's more, the coffee itself wasn't even completely cold. It really makes you wonder what you get when you order a burger... A bun without a patty?

Fast food with a 15 minute wait for a wrap is a joke. They press that my number is ready and has already been picked up, probably for the statistics of how fast they are, but I still had to wait another 10 minutes. Scrambled eggs were cold and the wrap wasn't even put together properly but was heartlessly thrown into the bag. I had more scrambled eggs in the bag than on the wrap. It's a shame that I was pressed for time and the taxi was waiting downstairs, otherwise I would have taken it back to the shop instead of in the bin. I work without gloves, the employee coughs into her hands and packs up my food. I don't know if the health department would be happy with this?

They don't know their own offer. Supposedly free muffin with corresponding coffee, latte, etc. This wasn't given to me. I showed it to them on their own website. Referred to my receipt. Pointless. If the staff barely speaks German, that's one thing. But you should know your own offers.

Good morning, as a McDonald's consumer I believe that this is the worst McDonald's I have ever tried. The food was terrible, I ordered a custom sandwich and a completely different sandwich arrived, plus the meat was very dry. The tables and chairs were very dirty and the service was mediocre

Actually a nice shop in the city on Hardenbergplatz. The service is good, so far all employees have been friendly to me when I placed an order in advance on my cell phone in the McDonald's app and then paid at the checkout on site!! If anything was unclear, I was helped quickly and competently. The food was brought to my table upon request - but it is not a permanent service from the house. Normally, the customer has to pick up the food they have ordered and the number at the food counter. I'm deducting a star because, in my opinion, the toilet management isn't being carried out quite as well now. Previously, if you had a proof of purchase from McDonald's, you could show the receipt and use the restroom for free. Now it's regulated by the contractual partner, you have to pay €0.50 if you haven't eaten or drunk anything!!! This is sometimes very unfortunate when you urgently need to go to the toilet and then, because of your excitement, you don't manage to go there in time. I can understand the toilet tenant, but to answer me that I can only use the toilet once within an hour is very bold. And then, after 1 hour, asking me for €0.50 strikes me as harnebueschen. I didn't do this or pay for it, so I had to resist it and go to the place at home last. Thank God the way back wasn't that far away. Other guests will have experienced something similar to me. If I could, I wouldn't give any stars at all. The employees don't really listen when you make orders. Then the employee argues and says I ordered the wrong thing or ordered something different. Plus, the burgers were cold and inedible and we didn't feel like having a discussion anymore because the shift managers and employees were absolutely unable to have a sensible conversation. Actually, one could think that the franchisee has retained the same standards as at Tauentzien back then. After all these years, I found out again why people don't eat at McDonald's anymore.

If you order a Happy Meal and there's no drink, it's obviously really sad. If a chocolate milkshake is ordered for the same child and it is an iced coffee shake...unbelievable. Really sad! Everything to go!

Terribly unfriendly. Ordered an apple turnover, waited half an hour for them to put my order in with someone else and I didn't get it anymore... not even any compensation or an apology. Just disrespectful.
