Way too slow for a "fast" food restaurant.

The worst people who are not helpful, I wanted to see the manager in charge, but unfortunately I could not recommend dealing with this industry.

A man in front of me ordered a reusable cup with his drink, but only received a regular one. He asked if he could get the extra charge refunded. The lady at the counter said no, because she didn't know how to do it, and immediately turned away to make small talk with her two other colleagues. How unfriendly can you be? Also, I ate a McChicken there and was vomiting all night. This place desperately needs to be overhauled and inspected!!! Hygiene 0/5!!!

The price of McDonalds in Germany is high. In Latvia or even in Spain the prices were much better. Cheeseburger is €2.50, wrap meal is €11 or €12.

I'd gladly give it one star. I ordered 6 nuggets and waited over 20 minutes. Every order, no matter how large, came before me. The bottom line is, my taxi arrived, and I didn't receive my order.

A disaster and a complete overwhelm. The order was supposed to be brought to the table, but it had obviously been sitting on the counter for quite some time. The food was completely cold. The McFlurry had the wrong topping and no spoon. No wonder, considering the hot food display. Everything was already piled up there. We sent the food back, demanded a refund, and at least got it.

By 8 a.m., the floor was already dirty everywhere, and the tables were barely any better. It wasn't very busy.

My father had left his passport in his bag. It was back in seconds and there was nothing there. The employee took it and stole €1,300! And then handed it over to the lost and found office. We spent eight hours looking for the bag and asked at McDonald's 10,000 times, but they didn't know.

It's truly embarrassing for the chain that the restaurant at such a prestigious location serves unheated meals every time, with the cheese never melted, both in burgers and wraps. The quality of the purchased products is unacceptable. The worst branch I've ever eaten at, repeated today for the third time and definitely the last.

At the checkout, I was served by a very friendly and polite Indian lady. She served me very quickly, even without me having to mention that I had to catch my flight. This skill is especially important for airport employees. Her positive attitude made my meal taste even better. It would be wonderful if there were more employees as dedicated as her 🥰

Appetizer. I was there with my wife today... The Big Tasty Bacon was dry, with no sauce, four slices of tomato, and lots of lettuce. The fries were dry or stale. The nuggets were just as hard and dry, and I had ordered extra bacon and cheese for the McCrispy, but it didn't come out as requested. Disgusting.

We were there yesterday after landing with our dog and baby. A member of staff, his name was Enio (?), was super accommodating and nice. He had hot water for the baby's food and even a water bowl for the dog, which we thought was very sweet :)

In some cases, orders are mixed up or take a long time to prepare, especially if it is not a standard burger, but, for example, a salad or coffee. Orders are issued through self-service terminals, but sometimes they work intermittently. There were cases when the terminal froze, and you had to call an employee, who also could not always quickly solve the problem. 3. Food quality McDonald's is McDonald's, and you should not expect restaurant quality here. But still, the food in the airport branch seems a little worse than in the city restaurants of the chain. Pros: ✔️ Burgers meet McDonald's standards. ✔️ French fries are crispy (if fresh). ✔️ Drinks are served in a good assortment. Cons: ❌ Often the food looks untidy, as if it was put together in a hurry. ❌ Potatoes are sometimes oversalted or, on the contrary, bland. Coffee is average quality, sometimes bitter. I often order a Big Mac - in this branch it was warm, but not hot, the bun was a little dry. Chicken McNuggets were tasty, but the sauce was not the one I ordered. 4. Prices Since this is McDonald's at the airport, the prices here are higher than in the city restaurants of the chain. The difference is not critical, but still noticeable. For example: A Big Mac menu in the city costs about 10 €, and here - 12 €. Cappuccino is 1-2 € more expensive than in other McDonald's. A cheeseburger costs about 3 €, although you can usually find it cheaper. Paying more for the same burgers is not the most pleasant feeling, but for an airport this is standard practice. 5. Cleanliness and atmosphere A difficult question. On the one hand, the restaurant looks modern, clean, and cozy. On the other hand, due to the influx of people, the tables are not always cleared on time, and the trash cans overflow. If you need to have a quiet snack, this can be a problem here. 6. Speed ​​of service As I already said, this can be difficult. Depending on the time of day, you can get your order in 3 minutes, or you can wait 15-20 minutes, which is a bit much for McDonald's. If you order something non-standard, for example, coffee with plant milk or a burger without sauce, the likelihood of a delay increases. 7. Airport Alternatives If you're not a McDonald's fan, there are other options at Düsseldorf Airport: Bäckerei Kamps – delicious sandwiches and pastries. Marché Mövenpick – better quality food, but more expensive. Starbucks – for those who want coffee and dessert. McDonald's is still a good option if you want a quick and predictable snack, but sometimes the wait can be longer than you'd like. 8. When I inquired, I was told that the machines were apparently not available, which is very disappointing in a restaurant of this size and in such a busy place as an airport. At an airport where customers are often in transit, it would be desirable if all of the products on offer were actually available. It's my first time here, the McCafee looks inviting, but unfortunately it's not occupied. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I asked if it was open. I was told McCafee was closed and that would also be stated at the checkout. I'll be back after ordering, see video. The worst fast food place I was “allowed” to get to know. Admittedly, it's difficult at night and at the main train station, but the fact that you can't have any peace and quiet on early Tuesday and early Friday is bad. I was just begged three times in two minutes, a third of the shop was cordoned off, and about a quarter of the remaining tables were occupied by "non-customers". Really crazy, apparently no thought is given to “normal” guests. There used to be sporadic security at the door in the evenings and at night, but this may have fallen victim to budget cuts.

And after a long flight with 3 hungry children, I left without being able to place my order. The employee was so aggressive and was very irritated and found it too much effort to change the order (from cheeseburger to hamburger). Unfortunately, the manager did not make the situation any better. The only good thing was a friendly employee of the MC cafe. To which the first employee was also aggressive and forbade her to bring in the manager.

After that, everyone has to decide for themselves whether they want to eat what is prepared here. The employees don't seem to take hygiene that seriously, and the seats and tables are also very dirty. The staff should rather look for a job in the airport area that corresponds to their level of education. The branch is absolute garbage and should be thoroughly inspected by McDonald's or the health department.

It was very bad, the sandwiches fall apart before you touch them. The meat and the potatoes were not properly fried, in fact the potatoes were almost raw.

One of the cooks kept touching his nose all the time (he even blew it at one point), all the while he kept working and NOT A SINGLE TIME he bothered to wash his hands. And he was not wearing gloves. It was completely empty early in the morning and I wanted to ask what the new big morning farmer was made of. There were only 2 employees in the kitchen and one said that someone would come soon. After 10 minutes of waiting there was just shouting at the back and someone said "why do I have to do all this?" After that, someone finally came and ignored me and gave (only the 2 orders) to the customers who were there before. After a long wait, I didn't feel like it anymore and just placed my order and received it after a few minutes, but it was the big morning farmer very unappetizing and bread tasted like it had been defrosted 20 minutes ago without baking it. I think I'll have to think twice about where I'm going to eat next time
