Burger wasn't cooked through. Employee yelled at us And a very long waiting time

The Mcs here is always emptier than at the main station and that's why I think it's better. Food is just like at McDonald’s and so are the employees. Neither is particularly special or good.

Food was cold and service cart was not emptied

There's no sea but there's the Mac Do!! Not the best but probably the best placed, but it's dirty let it go 🤦 But practical for starting a day of walking.

Unfortunately I have to give 1 star. It would be much easier for me to give negative stars. I was there this morning with my wife and I ordered 2 cocoa for us. How this was prepared was truly impossible. More lumpy cocoa powder at the bottom of the cup than even in the cocoa. We were there twice today. The first and certainly the last time. Never again!!!!!

Good ol' McDonald's in the centre of Cologne, right outside the Dome. Very busy especially at late nights, they do have self-order kiosks however the waiting can be long. The cafe is quite dirty and definitely need cleaning but hey, grateful it's opened when nothing else is opened.

I/we have never seen/entered such a disastrous "shop", the staff leaves a lot to be desired (unfriendly) there is another way to clean it And what's worst is that you have to pay and get NO food. After ordering, we waited for an hour after several queries and were constantly told that our order was in progress. Meanwhile, others kept getting their orders. After waiting for 45 minutes, I set a deadline of 5 minutes, but this was not met, so after an hour of waiting I emphatically asked for my/our money back for just a smart menu cheese burger, chicken burger and a milkshake. At first they didn't want it The note that an hour wait in the McDonald's at the cathedral is normal. People are still fine For me/us, this McDonald's at the cathedral in Cologne is the very last thing

I'm standing in line at the checkout to pay cash, the cashier has been gone for 15 minutes. The queue was insane. The employees are running around doing something, they are asked to come upstairs to take orders and the answer is "yes, yes" but they stand there and ignore them. To make matters worse, the floor at the checkout is sticky. Lots of tables that weren't cleaned.

The worst service and the worst education of all the fast food restaurants I have been to.

Despite the seemingly constant understaffing and the central location of this branch, the staff here really makes an effort. I have always found it to be friendly and enjoy going to this McDonald’s.

I do not recommend that you have to wait 30 minutes to order, the service is not nice and when you ask about your order they tell you that it is not possible that you did not receive it and you wait another 15 minutes..

The worst mcdonalds I've ever been to in the whole world. Absolutely rude, disgusting behaviour from manager that refused to give out straw for a drink to a person with medical condition that makes it painfull to drink normally. Because what?? "Oh yeah because straws are just for shakes and if they give it out they want have them for shakes" that's like the most unnexpected ridicolous thing to happen in mcdonalds, what next you're gonna refuse to hand a napkin? Should be fired immediately

here a mouse was literally running around in plain sight, my friend and I came up and said that they had a mouse running around the hall, they said there was no mouse in a rude voice and left without letting them finish, McDonald’s should check the services, because the people carrying the infection are running around)

I usually enjoy going to McDonald's and have been to many different ones. The food tastes pretty much the same everywhere, but it doesn't always look the same. The burger I ordered was completely soggy and cold, and it didn't look particularly appetizing because there was just way too much sauce on it. The service employees looked anything but competent and also looked extremely grim. I don't really want to say much about the ambience, it's just horrible, even at the train station it's nicer than there...

The institution is terrible! 🤬 This is the only poppy after which I have no more desire to come to poppy! Burgers, dry cucumbers in them are very coarsely chopped. Burger with chicken makes me vomit. I can't taste any bread. Fanta is simply diluted with water and ice! I waited a long time for the order. The nuggets smell of oil and have no taste either. For the first time in my life, I didn't finish an order of poppy seeds and was angry 😡 I really miss poppies in Poland and Ukraine, the most delicious poppies there. 🇵🇱🇺🇦❤️

Bad experience - disappointing and disrespectful Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at the McDonald's on Marzellenstrasse in Cologne. The store was in a pretty disorganized state overall. The tables were dirty and there were hardly any clean places to sit down. The waiting times were far too long, even though it wasn't particularly busy, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and uninterested. The behavior of one employee was particularly disappointing. He was tall, had short hair and a beard. This employee was extremely rude and disrespectful. When I asked a simple question about my order, he made fun of me and even laughed at me. This kind of behavior towards customers is completely unacceptable and completely ruined my experience there. I hope management takes care of these issues because I definitely won't be visiting this McDonald's again.

Unfortunately, the store is always very crowded and there are only a few seats, making it difficult to find a spot. I ordered McShaker fries, but unfortunately I only got regular fries. As I noticed, this also happened at a few other tables. Another point is that you have to pay to use the toilets, which in itself would be fine if they were kept well clean. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Other than that, the food was fine and tasted as you would expect. With a little more attention in the kitchen and cleaning, the visit here could be made even more pleasant.

This McDonalds has potential but it doesn't use it. My burger was “less” than lukewarm, and a huge blob of ketchup was spread across our table. However, nice service👍

We came to Cologne for a tournament and stayed at a nearby hotel. We visited the restaurant several times. The screen for order numbers wasn’t working correctly, and they took a very long time to process orders—I waited about 25 minutes. And we saw a RAT running through the kitchen. It was terrible; I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

McDonald's OK, service a little long. A shame, a woman sitting next to the toilet extorts you to go to the toilet and puts her disgusting arm on you to prevent you from going to the toilet, even with a 3 year old kid who has difficulty holding back!!! A shame and illegal, nothing is displayed to pay for the toilets, they are included in the price of the service. Never again, I will warn McDonald Germany. Go on your way.

Absolutely the worst McDonald's i have ever visited. Burgers are badly dressed, missing ingredients and have been kept for way to long. Do NOT visit, the "restaurant" itself is also disgusting, cleaning seems to be an afterthought. Food tastes like it has already been eaten. I can not stress enough that you should avoid this place. There are like 20 McDonald's in Cologne, all better than this one.

The toilet cleaner was extremely unfriendly!!!!!The toilets were very narrow, dirty and we were literally threatened (!) to pay money (even though it was free). Such an impudence!!!!!!!! McD WAS okay and, above all, cheap. The food hasn't changed, but the service has gotten worse with the stupid terminals and the prices are now just outrageous. Then the app wants to constantly query the location - changes at all times. I'm not sure of anything, many customers won't come anymore. In any case, I'll save it and only come back when the prices do the same.

The fries are not cooked through and don't taste good. The burgers were just thrown in and were no longer good. The ice cream was yogurt instead of vanilla and the drinks, especially Sprite, were very disgusting and gave me a gagging feeling!!!

We packed three menus in one bag, which tore right near the cash register. No replacement was made. The potatoes are soggy, the Big Mac is the worst I've ever tried.

Incredibly bad!!! I waited over an hour for my food, but whether that can still be reconciled with the term “fast food” is self-explanatory. I don't think the term "fast" food means that you have to wait over an hour for your order and then you finally have to find out yourself whether the order was forgotten. A visit is not recommended unless you feel like long waiting times, slow staff and bad service ☺️☺️

We went to eat. But we had to wait a long time and it was dirty. Then homeless people come in every 5 minutes to beg and constantly touch you, which I found really stupid because you can't eat in peace. The employees weren't interested in that either... Based on the reviews here, it seems to be a long-term problem, no wonder that there is also mold infestation given the poor hygiene.

Very dirty, trash bins were overfilled, trash on the floor, tables. Chaos in the kitchen. Workers were handling money and then touching food without washing their hands. Portions were too small. Fries were uneatable - white, not done. Sadly, had to toss almost all the food we bought.

30 min wait for my order, never experienced that before

I was yelled at by the staff and received eye rolls because I said that my friend's food, which she had already paid for, was no longer shown on the display (someone else just picked it up, as it turned out later) they refused listened to me and ignored me until a young man helped me. When they understood my problem, they said that it was not their problem and turned away. I had to argue with them for a long time until they agreed to prepare the food again. Very bad, I just don't think it should happen like that, since it wasn't my fault and they could also check who is picking up the food and whether this person also has the shopping list for it.

The food was ok, there are better McDonald's outlets, but it definitely wasn't bad. It is often very crowded and loud, which is due to the location and you wait a relatively long time for your food. But I think the worst thing is that someone waits in front of the toilet and collects 50ct or so. I've never experienced that in any restaurant. I buy my food and drink there, then they should at least offer the toilet for free and pay their employees! And no, that wasn't a voluntary "donation" either; if you didn't give anything, you were asked to do so.

A man near the toilet entrance asks for money for a FREE toilet. He not only begs but even harasses. They serve the wrong sauces. Instead of chocolate chips, a piece of chocolate is thrown into the ice cream. Sweet ice cream turns sour

The food was quite good. Unfortunately the ones weren't that crispy but otherwise it was delicious. The service is fast and they clean often, the ambience is also ok, at other McDonalds there is usually an annoying beeping sound, which is not the case here.

Disgusting, didn’t even eat food. Ordered roughly 40$ worth but then I saw the kitchen. The man making half of the food had no gloves, and was just gripping lettuce out with his bare hands. The second dude had just got done wiping the counters, then put his hands in his pockets, then went back to touching my food. Granted, I am from America, but this sounds unacceptable from any country.

There's no lie, it's the most disgusting McDonald's in ages. I was there with 5 friends for the glow in the dark glass. First we were brought the wrong one and after a long discussion we finally got it. Of course we ordered with the app coupon. I made a reservation to pick up the meal, but I didn’t start cooking until I arrived. It was super slow and the meal was still wrong🙄 If you are going to take the train, don’t come here :) The service is extremely slow, and the orders are still incorrect. If you plan to take the train, definitely avoid this restaurant. Der Service ist extrem langsam, und die Bestellungen sind immer noch falsch. Wenn Sie vorhaben, mit dem Zug zu fahren, meiden Sie unbedingt dieses Restaurant.

Very bad service today at 11.30. My numbers have been called and I go to take it. But the young guy with black hair is not ready and not saying anything just staring. Then come an older blond lady who shouted at me and say that I should back off. Then I explained my numbers been called. And i waited and waited and they dont do anything with #227. I don't understand that they ask you for money in the bathroom when you've consumed something in the establishment, anyway I kept going and didn't pay.

Our child was looking forward to the junior bag when visiting with his godmother, but unfortunately the promised gift was missing. When we asked the staff about it, we were met with ignorance and an unpleasantly rude comment, which unfortunately didn't improve the situation. Near the impressive Cologne Cathedral, we expected a warmer and more accommodating attitude, more in line with our ideas of hospitality and respect.

Very dirty and you will be taken for a ride. We ordered cappuccinos with oats and they served them with milk. After I complained, the staff joked about the action with the manager. No go.
