I waited more than 45 minutes for my food. The employees were also unfriendly and inconsiderate.

Nearly got in a fight with the fake toilet attendant. He spotted that I was a tourist and demanded a tip from me. Told me if it happened again I would regret it. Not professional and clearly scamming tourists.

It was extremely dirty!!! The floor, the tables, even the trays were greasy. The worst thing was that we saw a MOUSE in the kitchen when we ordered. I didn't eat anything after that.

My experience at McDonald's was extremely disappointing. The manager's behavior was very unprofessional and rude. It seems like the manager hired employees who have no idea how to deal with customers or perform their tasks properly. Such behavior is completely unacceptable for a global brand like McDonald's. Do not go. I was there today at noon. The place wasn't crowded, but it took 25 minutes to get two take out cheeseburgers, which were cold. There seemed to be only three employees on shift. Besides that, the floor was so sticky that I'm surprised it didn't pull my shoes off. It hadn't been properly mopped in days. Disgusting!

This is the dirtiest McDonald's branch I have ever visited in my life. The place is extremely dirty and polluted. There is dirt everywhere on the floor, leftover food on the tables, the floor and the chairs alike. All the trash cans are so full that trash is overflowing. Without exaggeration: you feel like you're stepping into a garbage can when you enter this branch. I should mention that this was my first visit here, and it was in the middle of the night. So I'm not sure if the restaurant is always at this level or if this was only the case in the specific circumstances of my visit. However, it should never have been this dirty while people continue to eat in this giant trash can. Most other McDonald's locations are much better! It's a shame that a branch in such an important and central location in the middle of this beautiful city is at this level. Plus, don't be surprised if you have to wait 25 minutes just to get a medium-sized portion of fries - which is also served cold! A potentially important point: the staff here don't speak English and won't understand you at all. If you, as a tourist, do not speak German, you may be forced to ask another guest to help you translate a simple sentence in this restaurant. I don't recommend this branch.

Massacre! There's a McDonald's in the city center, right next to the cathedral, and the toilets are in such a condition that I feel like someone spit in my face. Complete lack of respect for the customer if the restaurant provides you with such a toilet! In the men's room, 1 toilet and a broken door lock and dirt 🤮 German friends, come to any public toilet in Poland and see what the toilets should look like, plus they are free 😆 shame on you!

Terrible service, rudeness, unprofessional behavior, insults. We weren't given a burger. My colleague couldn't pinpoint exactly what was missing, so he went to the checkout and said we were missing two other burgers. When we were given the two additional burgers, we realized our mistake and wanted to apologize. But the employee who came to us first started insulting us. After ignoring our request, she took away the receipt and the burgers. We wanted to resolve the matter peacefully and asked for the receipt back, only to receive rejection, threats and rude behavior from the store manager. An extremely unpleasant impression. The food wasn't tasty. Instead of 20 nuggets we received 19. Instead of normal service we felt like we were spat in the face.

TOILETS ARE FREE TO USE FOR CUSTOMSRS. Food was good it's always nice to try new McDonald's when aboard to compare the menus. Be warned the toilets are free for customers to use there are reviews of people saying you have to pay. You DON'T there is a sign up in the corridor leading to the toilets where someone will stand and will ask for money she stands in front of the sign which is only written in German once she moved I translated the sign see attached picture it's only a tip not a charge. They must be the richest people in cologne me and my partner did not pay we just ignored her and she left us alone and managed to use the toilets for free. They will harras you for money whilst waiting she must have made €20 in 15 minutes whilst we was waiting definitely a tourist trap.

The floor is slippery because the mixing ratio is wrong. Apparently you want to get sued because people can easily lie about it.

On my last visit there I was treated extremely rudely by one of your employees, who was in his mid-forties, slightly dark-skinned and had slightly gray hair. When I stepped forward to pick up my order with the receipt, this employee suddenly reacted very loudly and rudely. He asked me to stand back and wait for him to call me. I was extremely embarrassed by this inappropriate behavior in the presence of other guests, which is why I ended up leaving the store without my order. Needs a clean up. Eat in area is dirty

The food tasted good, however it wasn’t good as I threw it up. The service was fast and quick. I was asked for money by a beggar inside the restaurant however. The restaurant seemed to be clean, and the toilets were clean

The kitchen is open so you can see employees constantly chatting, stuffing their pants, licking their fingers and then touching the food. This is really disgusting.

This is the closest mcdonald to the dom, so a very turistic place, staff were very rude and clumsy we waited a lot for our order even tho there wasn't a lot of people and we even got it wrong. I tried to talk to the staff multiple times but i got totally ignored even if they heard me quite well.

Located just across the Cathedral. Visited for lunch, when it was fully occupied, had to wait for table. The place / table were not completely clean, may be because of over-crowd. Once ordered, serving was prompt. Ordered Burger, Fries & Coke, foods were okayish, portions were relatively small. Had to hurried-off our meal for other waiting customers. Overall reasonable option for a quick bite at affordable price.

Unfortunately I have to give 1 star. It would be much easier for me to give negative stars. I was there this morning with my wife and I ordered 2 cocoa for us. How this was prepared was truly impossible. More lumpy cocoa powder at the bottom of the cup than even in the cocoa. We were there twice today. The first and certainly the last time. Never again!!!!!

Good ol' McDonald's in the centre of Cologne, right outside the Dome. Very busy especially at late nights, they do have self-order kiosks however the waiting can be long. The cafe is quite dirty and definitely need cleaning but hey, grateful it's opened when nothing else is opened.

I'm standing in line at the checkout to pay cash, the cashier has been gone for 15 minutes. The queue was insane. The employees are running around doing something, they are asked to come upstairs to take orders and the answer is "yes, yes" but they stand there and ignore them. To make matters worse, the floor at the checkout is sticky. Lots of tables that weren't cleaned.

Despite the seemingly constant understaffing and the central location of this branch, the staff here really makes an effort. I have always found it to be friendly and enjoy going to this McDonald’s.

The worst mcdonalds I've ever been to in the whole world. Absolutely rude, disgusting behaviour from manager that refused to give out straw for a drink to a person with medical condition that makes it painfull to drink normally. Because what?? The institution is terrible! 🤬 This is the only poppy after which I have no more desire to come to poppy! Burgers, dry cucumbers in them are very coarsely chopped. Burger with chicken makes me vomit. I can't taste any bread. Fanta is simply diluted with water and ice! I waited a long time for the order. The nuggets smell of oil and have no taste either. For the first time in my life, I didn't finish an order of poppy seeds and was angry 😡 I really miss poppies in Poland and Ukraine, the most delicious poppies there. 🇵🇱🇺🇦❤️

I usually enjoy going to McDonald's and have been to many different ones. The food tastes pretty much the same everywhere, but it doesn't always look the same. The burger I ordered was completely soggy and cold, and it didn't look particularly appetizing because there was just way too much sauce on it. The service employees looked anything but competent and also looked extremely grim. I don't really want to say much about the ambience, it's just horrible, even at the train station it's nicer than there...

Bad experience - disappointing and disrespectful Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at the McDonald's on Marzellenstrasse in Cologne. The store was in a pretty disorganized state overall. The tables were dirty and there were hardly any clean places to sit down. The waiting times were far too long, even though it wasn't particularly busy, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and uninterested. The behavior of one employee was particularly disappointing. He was tall, had short hair and a beard. This employee was extremely rude and disrespectful. When I asked a simple question about my order, he made fun of me and even laughed at me. This kind of behavior towards customers is completely unacceptable and completely ruined my experience there. I hope management takes care of these issues because I definitely won't be visiting this McDonald's again.

Unfortunately, the store is always very crowded and there are only a few seats, making it difficult to find a spot. I ordered McShaker fries, but unfortunately I only got regular fries. As I noticed, this also happened at a few other tables. Another point is that you have to pay to use the toilets, which in itself would be fine if they were kept well clean. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Other than that, the food was fine and tasted as you would expect. With a little more attention in the kitchen and cleaning, the visit here could be made even more pleasant.

A shame, a woman sitting next to the toilet extorts you to go to the toilet and puts her disgusting arm on you to prevent you from going to the toilet, even with a 3 year old kid who has difficulty holding back!!! A shame and illegal, nothing is displayed to pay for the toilets, they are included in the price of the service. Never again, I will warn McDonald Germany. Go on your way.

We came to Cologne for a tournament and stayed at a nearby hotel. We visited the restaurant several times. The screen for order numbers wasn’t working correctly, and they took a very long time to process orders—I waited about 25 minutes. And we saw a RAT running through the kitchen. It was terrible; I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

This is terrible! The service is at the level of a cesspool, the food corresponds to the level of the institution. Somehow, a dark-skinned uncle who sits near the toilets knocks out money for visiting the toilet, even if you bought food in the establishment. Avoid this hole.

Absolutely the worst McDonald's i have ever visited. Burgers are badly dressed, missing ingredients and have been kept for way to long. Do NOT visit, the "restaurant" itself is also disgusting, cleaning seems to be an afterthought. Food tastes like it has already been eaten. I can not stress enough that you should avoid this place. There are like 20 McDonald's in Cologne, all better than this one.
