The floor was sticky, and I couldn't find a single table that wasn't smeared with smudges. This was early in the morning, when there were fewer than 10 guests in the restaurant. I couldn't understand why they weren't cleaning the empty tables. The tray return was also full and seemed to have not been emptied in a while.

An example of the worst capitalism can do. Terrible food, huge lines, disorganized, and the most unfriendly people. Oh, and it's also super dirty.

I have to go there in person and sort it out. Simply TERRIBLE STAFF AND SERVICE! McDonald's is fast food, but you have to wait longer here than at a good restaurant.

Worst service ever, a really long wait, which I can understand since it was an international match—23 minutes for a simple burger—but the service was very unfriendly and overwhelmed. They were also very rude to many of the customers (who weren't tipsy) who had only politely asked how long their order would take (because of the train). Since I'm in Cologne every now and then, I've been there before and thought I was just unlucky, but unfortunately, the experience was the same again this time. Next time, it's better to use kebab shops and the like around here.

My chicken wrap was only half filled and the burgers messy. A employee tryed to "hold on" too the phone of my partner without concent, treathen to call the police when confronted about it, and a random person sat by the toilets asking for money to gain excess. This place is running pure on the location as all other services fail.

They treated me like a nuisance; they didn't want to give me my food and gave me the wrong thing. They also tried several times to charge me for food I had already paid for.

We had a really great dinner. There are two parks for girls and boys.

Two adults and two children ordered, and two people delivered our order on two trays before leaving immediately (it was very busy). I realized a hamburger was missing. I went to see someone who said okay. After a while, without a response, I asked her if I should go somewhere to get the missing sandwich. She replied very aggressively that I should have reported it as soon as the tray arrived on the table and that it was too late. I didn't understand her aggressive tone or why she hadn't told me the first time I asked her. Given the speed at which the two trays were delivered in front of us, we couldn't have checked at the same time if the order was complete. In short, a bad experience and a hamburger paid for but not served.

One star is actually quite generous in my opinion... Food: Some burgers arrive cold, taste like cardboard, and are just slapped together. Service: Employees apparently don't understand table service. They search for customers by number instead of using the designated tracking monitor. Furthermore, you apparently have to take care of napkins yourself. Atmosphere: The McDonald's is certainly a bit of a mess. But, here's the kicker: tables, floors, and seats are apparently only cleaned rudimentarily and once a day. Even the McDonald's in Baden-Württemberg - Karlsdorf - A5 wasn't as dirty after a night out at the disco as this one. Perhaps the staff should be retrained, or the health department should come by.

An extremely bad McDonald's. They have very unfriendly and rude employees; everything is chaotic. These two rude women took my order number, even though I had already told them it wasn't mine. They apparently didn't even know to look at the screen to see which orders were ready. Then I saw one of these women stack four customer trays on top of each other to perform table service. 🤮People like this seriously damage McDonald's clean and hygienic image.

What I got at McDonald's today was an absolute disgrace. I ordered three burgers, and what I received was simply disgusting. The bread was rock-hard and old, and the cheese looked like it had been sitting in the sun for a week. Two out of three orders were completely wrong, and I immediately felt sick after the first bite. Honestly: If this is the "quality" you get here these days, they might as well close the place downright. I don't get the feeling anyone here cares about freshness, cleanliness, or customer service at all. It seemed as if they had carelessly thrown the last, most rotten leftovers into a bag—the main thing was to get rid of them quickly. This is not only disappointing, but downright disrespectful to the customers.

Unfortunately, the visit was disappointing. The place was very dirty – many tables were piled high with trash, and the floor was sticky. Given the number of customers, I understand that there might be long waits, but when the kitchen staff prefer to chat with each other instead of taking care of the orders, it doesn't make a good impression. Even paying took a while because there was no one at the cash register for a long time. Afterward, we had to wait again until the food was finally ready. At least the food was good for a McDonald's – but the atmosphere definitely spoiled the visit.

And the customer suffers the consequences: very long waits (45 minutes for two sandwiches and a drink!). No information about the wait time. And when an Uber comes, their order has priority. I approached the shift manager (a man with glasses) three times and asked for faster service. He simply told us to wait. There were about 10 other customers who, like me, had to wait a very long time. Even after my order was taken, the employee didn't apologize, didn't provide me with napkins, and didn't offer any compensation or gesture of regret. Even at expensive restaurants, I've never had to wait more than half an hour for my food. Therefore, I'm forced to leave a bad review and cannot recommend this restaurant.

Is it normal for a burger to be missing from a meal? Half the staff works extremely slowly and ignores queues of over 20 people waiting for their orders. We received a takeout order with two meals, and one burger was simply not wrapped! Unfortunately, we didn't check it on the spot and only noticed it when we got home. This is simply a disaster, no service! Check your orders immediately or, better yet, don't even bother going. We waited over 35 minutes for our order!

Orders are removed from the board before they are ready, so there is chaos at the counter. If you were patient and waited and want to wash your hands before eating, you will definitely be asked to pay extra at the entrance to the toilet. The service and serving of burgers in this McDonald's is terrible, you can see in the photo what kind of burgers they make there. Insufficient staff. I ordered a burger without cheese and pickles. When it came to me, it came with everything. I returned the burger, and they made it the same again, disregarding my order. I returned the burger and complained, and they gave me the same burger again. I felt disrespected. This means the staff isn't doing their part to please customers as they should. To pay cash, four other people and I waited for over 20 minutes because they didn't want to come and collect our money. A horrible experience.

I highly recommend not going to this McDonald's for several reasons. Firstly, it's just an awfully huge crowd of people, it's almost impossible to sit down, I was lucky enough to be able to sit in a seat near the window to see the cathedral, but this was more of an accident. Secondly, due to the large influx of people, my order simply disappeared, I waited more than 40 minutes, although the order was not large, and of course they did not add sauce to me. And again, due to the large influx of people, just going to change it becomes a problem. So if you order, know that you will wait a long time and it is not a fact that in the end you will receive exactly what you ordered. For this reason, I recommend always choosing McDonald's away from the city center.

Very disappointed with my visit to this establishment. The hall is very dirty - I had to wipe the table myself, as all the surfaces were sticky and covered in crumbs. Problems with the order: - We ordered 3 sets of the menu, but were given only 2 napkins (they refused to give us additional ones at the checkout). - The toilets are in terrible condition: the women's is dirty, the men's is a little better, but also not ideal. The only plus is that the food is of standard McDonald's quality, but it was unpleasant to eat inside because of the unsanitary conditions. Conclusion: Cleanliness and service need to be urgently improved!

We stayed here after visiting the Christmas market in December 2023. The rösti burger was amazing and the service was quick even though it was busy.

The food was delicious, quickly prepared, and the staff was friendly. However, there was one problem in the men's restroom: The door to the stall with the toilet doesn't lock. And as for cleanliness: The floor simply shines, and the tables are wiped down immediately after the customer leaves. That's all, thank you for your attention.

I was just inside with two friends to use the restroom. The guy who's in front of the restrooms and "cleans" almost kicked out those who weren't in the restroom (but were still waiting and wanted to go) (so that they ultimately couldn't go to the restroom either). When everyone was finished and we stood in the hallway for five seconds, he clapped his hands and almost kicked us out. Absolutely rude!

Totally cheeky. I got a free vanilla milkshake there with McDonald's points, but I paid an extra 50 cents for chocolate sauce... I paid at the cashier and had to yell halfway across the store and walk to an employee to get someone to go to the cashier... I finally got my vanilla milkshake, but without chocolate sauce... After asking, the employee said, totally cheeky: "That's not our problem." Never again from this store...

This restaurant is a reflection of this country. Roma constantly harassing you and asking for money, dirt and garbage everywhere. Twenty Ukrainians screaming and making the place unsafe. It's truly a complete disaster, and I'll never come back. Eating in peace is impossible here.

I'm currently on vacation from Berlin. On June 30th, I visited your branch to get something to eat. Unfortunately, I received an extremely unfriendly welcome that day. I asked the employees how they were doing, and they just gave me strange looks, as if I'd said something inappropriate. That was my first negative impression. I had another, even worse experience on July 2nd at approximately 12:25 AM. I placed an order and asked for someone to come to the cashier. The response was, "Pay with your card." When I explained that I had no money on my card and wanted to pay in cash, I was simply turned away. I was told to leave. I asked to speak to a responsible person. A young woman came but didn't introduce herself and refused to take my order—while other customers continued to be served. Her behavior was extremely rude and offensive. To me, this was a clear form of discrimination. It's a shame, because the food was of decent quality, but the service was disrespectful and unacceptable. It was particularly disappointing that none of the employees were willing to identify themselves to allow for a formal complaint. I sincerely hope you take this incident seriously and take steps to ensure something like this doesn't happen again in the future. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend anyone to visit this branch.

I'm traumatized by McDonald's, but there's nothing you can do 🤷‍♂️ It was a Monday morning around 11 a.m. when we ordered at the terminal. We wanted to pay in cash at the checkout, but the employee disappeared after serving another customer, and no one came back anytime soon. Finally, we gave up and placed our order again, but this time with a card. Despite the excruciating wait, no order number appeared on the large display, and we were supposedly being called over. Due to the congested crowd and the loud atmosphere, it was impossible to hear. Anyway, we eventually got our order after asking. The food was okay, it's McDonald's, but they forgot a drink, which we luckily got when we asked. Sadly, we didn't notice the lack of sauces under time pressure :( Overall, we had enough time (about 40 minutes) to order in peace and take our food to go. Nevertheless, the visit took at least half an hour, which we clearly underestimated!! In the end, I got the impression that the employees were under a lot of stress. I don't even want to imagine what it's like here on weekends...probably even more chaotic. This McDonald's in Cologne should definitely hire more staff to relieve their workload. I ordered a happy meal, but I didn't get chicken nuggets with it. I went to ask the staff and they didn't want to give it to me, because they didn't trust us as students. This is the first time I really write a review. And that's when it's really bad.

I could overlook the fact that in a nearly empty restaurant, the food took an exceptionally long time, or the fact that when we finally did receive our food we were told that items were missing and were given the incorrect order, even though there was no rush. What I was not able to overlook in this review was that when I went to the bathroom there was a man in the corridor who was extremely aggressive in asking for money and when we did not give him money he actually clapped us out of the way very loudly and told us that we needed to pay to use the bathroom. Thinking that this was a scam we went to ask staff who explained that we did not need to pay this man money to use the bathroom, but he was a staff member asking for tips. The other staff did not have a problem with him using intimidation and scaring customers to get their money. Later another member of my group went to the bathroom and he followed them to the door of the females bathroom after refusing to give him money and then sucked his tooth at them. I would absolutely not recommend this restaurant to anybody. There are many alternative restaurants including nearby Mcdonalds with polite staff and suitable for dietary restrictions.

A typical McDonald's in any city! The best thing about it is its location and the fact that it usually closes late at night! The ordering process was a bit chaotic, as I had to ask several times for my order because they weren't very clear.

I had ordered a raspberry tart, but it hadn't been delivered. When I went to the counter to inquire, I was told I could either wait six minutes or get a different flavor. Since I didn't like the other flavor, I said I'd wait for the raspberry tart. My receipt was confiscated. After more than six minutes, I still hadn't received the raspberry tart. I went back to the counter and explained what had happened—that I had ordered the item, but it hadn't been delivered. The employee couldn't understand me in either German or English and said she couldn't give me the item without a receipt. However, the receipt had been kept by a colleague. Another employee finally came over and said he would bring me the raspberry tart. I was then given a product that said a different flavor—but luckily, it was the correct raspberry tart.

I was there too about three weeks ago. The cash register was unmanned for at least 20 minutes. I was also unsure whether I should even queue to pay. After paying, I waited another 25 minutes before I got my food. The display wasn't working properly either, so the numbers had to be called out. Many other people have had the same bad experience, as I've seen from the reviews. The food was only moderately tasty. I won't be visiting this McDonald's again in the future. There are plenty of others in Cologne that are better.

A regular McDonald's, the staff was friendly and the products were the same as in all the other stores in the chain. Unfortunately, paying customers also have to pay extra for the restroom, which is rude. Also, the restrooms aren't clean. I liked the Chinese restaurant on the first floor better.
