The lady was very nice and the burger came quickly

It closed too early and didn't want to take our order half an hour early. That doesn't work at all!

On the 9th of September 2024, I went into Burger King in Köln to order a burger, onion rings, and a Sprite as a quick meal. After paying, I stood near the cash register and noticed a lady in the back preparing food. I saw her grab an onion ring from the frying basket, which had been sitting out of the oil for a while, and place it into a small snack package. Since there were only two orders on the board, I could easily tell that the package was for my order. As calmly and kindly as I could, I asked the lady at the cash register (who was Asian) if they could make me a fresh one. She responded rudely, despite my attempt to be mindful and respectful, as I didn’t want to irritate other customers. I tried to explain my concern, but then things escalated. The lady started throwing things, shouting at me, and accusing me of lying, saying it was impossible for her colleague to have touched the onion ring with her bare hands. I wondered why I would make such a claim if I hadn’t seen it happen. I told her that I wasn’t trying to argue or be rude; all I wanted was my meal and to eat in peace. Frustrated, she went to the back, grabbed some onion rings from the fridge, and continued shouting words I couldn’t understand, possibly in her native language. All I had asked for was a fresh serving of onion rings, but my request clearly upset her. At this point, she rudely told me to sit down, as if I were a child. By now, I had lost my cool and told her to stop talking to me in such a way. She stepped forward to confront me, and I repeated myself, confident that I was in the right. I had tried to be polite, but she seemed intent on provoking a confrontation. Meanwhile, the onion rings in the fryer started burning because of the ongoing drama. Another cashier eventually removed them after they had been overcooking for a while. I sat down and ate my meal because, 1) I was hungry, and 2) I was running late and didn’t have time to deal with the situation any further. As I walked out, I called the store and asked to speak with the shift manager. She sounded apologetic, but I still felt like I was being brushed off. I asked her to have the cashier apologize, which the Asian lady eventually did, though it didn’t seem sincere. I wasn’t looking for trouble, but I was disappointed with their behavior—especially their attempt to gaslight me into accepting food that had been handled in an unsanitary way. Two hours after this meal, I began vomiting profusely. Guys, visit this location at your own risk. This is not proper management, and Burger King needs to either shut down this branch or replace the entire staff.

Really unfriendly shop! We've already called in the health department... Two nuggets were thrown into our bag with our hands. And the manager is also unfriendly and incompetent! We wanted the money back and she wanted our BIC and Iban. Data protection?!

I would have liked to order something for my evening meal. Once again.... Unfortunately in this branch the opening times don't matter. Official closing time is 11 p.m.!!! Today there was a small note saying that the branch would close at 9 p.m. for operational reasons. Well, it can happen sometimes. But I ran into a locked door at 8:14 p.m. But the annoying thing is simply the fact that I have stood in front of a closed door so many times. 3 hours before closing time, 5 hours before closing time or it wasn't open at all. This situation in combination with the (mostly) not good condition of the food and one or two borderline staff, this branch should no longer open at all!!! Then it's just like that and you don't have to worry anymore. The reviews on all platforms are there for a reason. Yes, you don't need to go there and buy something or get something somewhere else. But then this branch closes forever!!!

We ordered our food and after 10 minutes an employee came and started preparing it, we were the last to get our order even though we ordered first and were then locked in the restaurant (even though according to the opening times online they would be open for another 2 hours) Employees are extremely unfriendly and you can't speak of hygiene here either. Food was cold and dry, almost all orders were incorrect

The store is just never open. Although it says always open online. During the week it feels like it closes at 5 p.m. and it has never been open on Sundays in the last few weeks.

Don't go there guys, just so unfriendly. This was the third time that my order was recorded incorrectly and then the money was not returned. This Asian woman is very mean and really so disrespectful.! I don't understand how people like that can still stay there. Never there.

Before Corona, the food was still very good and cheap, but after the pandemic it fell drastically, which is why I don't go in there anymore. 1. Food costs more and more and vice versa becomes worse. 2. From the outside, you can see through the large glass windows that every now and then a homeless or drunk person is lying with their head on one of the tables, sleeping, while the staff doesn't do anything, even if you point it out. 3. The only regular customers who eat there regularly are the mice and rats that come out of the cracks in the wall and run into the kitchen. 4. They don't stick to the opening hours. Example: If you open at 10:00 a.m., then they don't open until 10:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. 5. I'm really surprised that the branch hasn't been closed by the health department yet.

The location is very convenient. After purchasing, it is first class to go to the station. Friendly staff. The place is clean. Food quality is normal.

The burgers taste great since Burger King no longer has a McDonald's nearby. Much better than before, the food is always fresh and ready in a timely manner. You have to take some time, but in return you get a delicious and warm burger as well as warm fries. But it can sometimes happen if the employees accidentally forget something if you order too much, so it's always best to check. But overall I'm very satisfied

Nice service good burgers But I would really appreciate a menu that lists everything you can buy at this store. I would like to be able to read it from the outside. That would be nice.

The floor is usually extremely sticky and dirty, which is not pleasant. Every time you don't check your order, either several burgers, nuggets or dips are missing. With a bit of luck, it's just the wrong dips. The employees are always extremely frustrated, unmotivated and annoyed. It doesn't matter what time you come, whether there's no one there or the whole store is full.

Unfortunately my order was forgotten today and I waited a long time. In my order I ordered a Double Steakhouse which costs €9.99, unfortunately I received a Double Cheese Burger instead. I only saw it when I got home, there was too much going on so I didn't check, it's a shame. But I didn't want to give a bad rating because I was very satisfied before, but today I was disappointed - 3/5

I'm really angry, the drinks weren't carbonated, it took forever for the food to be ready and they forgot the fries and this isn't the first time, it feels like every other time something is forgotten. Besides that, the gentleman in charge of the toilets is very rude, I had to go to the toilet urgently and a friend used my money to pay for the meal, so I didn't have the euro to hand. The gentleman immediately became very rude as to why I didn't want to pay. I tried to explain that I had to get my money first and come back, but he didn't care.

I was just there to order. I stood in line for 15-20 minutes JUST to pay. When I asked an employee if she could please cash out, the answer was "You have to wait until my colleague is finished, I'm not allowed to use the cash register". This colleague then said very rudely "I'm busy here" (she was just watching the burgers being prepared). A few months ago I had an incident where the burger bread was moldy on one corner, the only excuse was "It's not mold, it's from toasting", so since when has toasted bread been blue???🤡 The staff is also totally unfriendly, incompetent and clumsy. I will never set foot in this branch again. Goodbye forever.

Let's be honest, we don't go to Burger King because of the good service. The food is delicious, it's reasonably priced, and you don't really need anything more. What do you do now if, after a 30-second conversation with the shift manager, your jaw is hanging open full of incomprehension about how poorly you are being served? Of course the order is not correct. But my receipt has already been thrown away. I can't show what I actually ordered. Wrong burger, mayo missing. The woman at the counter clearly doesn't care. It takes a lot to be disappointed with Burger King. This line does it. Please give people service training.

Ich habe es, um es mal auf den Punkt zu bringen, den Eindruck das Personal dort ist überfordert. Da hilft es auch nix wenn man Menschen die was bestellen wollen an die Selbstbedienungsterminals verweist. Sonntag Abend war ich kurz dort, viele Menschen die auf ihre Bestellungen warteten und wie gesagt den Eindruck, man kriegt das nicht auf die Reihe. Wenn alle SB-Terminals genutzt werden und viele auf ihre Bestellung warten, kein Ort wo man sich gerne aufhält.

Essen schmeckt wie immer jeden BK gleich. Unter Fast Food verstehe ich aber was anderes. Habe über 20 Minuten auf zwei Chili-Cheeseburger gewartet…

Wie dumm ich bin, merkt man daran, dass ich hier immer wieder bestelle. Über Lieferando kommt das Essen mal gar nicht, mal fehlt die Hälfte, mal ist alles falsch. Mal erst nach 2 Stunden. Die Qualität ist ja eh so na ja....Wahrscheinlich kriegen die MitarbeiterInnen auch nicht genügend Geld. Aber dann soll man auch keinen Lieferservice anbieten, wenn sowieso alles schief läuft. Und ans Telefon geht auch niemand. Ich bin selten verärgert, aber jetzt sehr stark. Aber meisten hasse ich mich selbst.

Lokal wird trotz Öffnungszeit bis 23 Uhr um 19:40 schon geschlossen und gesäubert nur um keine Kunden mehr reinlassen zu müssen. „Expressschalter“ geöffnet aber unhöflich und lange Wartezeiten. Frag mich wie bei diesen Rezensionen der Laden noch existiert.

Hatte 2 plant based Burger bestellt, beim zweiten wurde mir bewusst, dass der erste nicht plant based war, sowas darf nicht passieren!

Es hat nicht einmal einen Stern verdient, ich habe die Bestellung mitgenommen, die Bestellung war nicht das, was ich bestellt habe auch die Kindergetränke sind durcheinander. Wir haben lange auf unsere Bestellung gewartet. Unzulässig für eine von Menschen besuchte Einrichtung, es ist schrecklich dort, die Toilette (kostenpflichtig) ist dreckig, es ist ekelhaft.

Ich war gerade sehr enttäuscht bei meinem Besuch. Die Burger King Filiale hat nur am Aussenschalter bedient. Ich wollte einen Coupon einlösen und die Frau meinte, dass das nur geht wenn ich ihr mein Handy gebe und dann ist sie mit meinem Handy rein gegangen, was ich schon sehr komisch fand. Dann wollte ich bezahlen und die Dame fragte mich ob meine Karte mit pin ist oder nicht. Ich sagte, dass das variieren kann. Dann meinte die Frau ich soll ihr die Karte geben. Ich antwortete, dass ich schon gerne sehen würde welcher Betrag auf dem Kartenlesegerät steht und abgebucht wird. Daraufhin meinte die Frau, dass ich dann nicht bestellen kann und gehen soll. Daraufhin bin ich ohne essen gegangen. Danke für nichts

Ich war lange nicht mehr im Burger King (Wiener Platz). Nachdem Umbau finde ich es echt nett dort . Service ,Getränke und Essen waren gut. Ein absolutes NoGo ist der Toilettenbereich. Man nimmt einen 1,00 Euro obwohl man dort verzehrt hat . Wir saßen genau im Blickfeld des „Klomannes“. Natürlich muss man , bei der Drogen -und Alkszene vor der Tür eine gewisse Regelung finden . Ich finde es einfach frech für das Klo zu bezahlen , obwohl man viel Geld dagelassen hat. Was ebenfalls nicht geht , ist das der Klomann mit zweierlei Maß misst . Wir mussten zahlen und seine Bekannten durften so rein . Wie gesagt wir saßen genau am Tisch vor dem Klo.Wir haben alles genau mitbekommen. Leider ist dies ein negativ Punkt. Ansonsten war es echt nett dort

Das Essen und das Personal hinterm Tresen ist ganz nett. Der Herr an den Toiletten ist frech und beleidigend, denn trotz das man dort verzehrt, verlangt er 1.00€ für die Toilettennutzung. Erstens ist das ziemlich frech, zweitens 1.00€ sehr viel und drittens sind dafür die Toiletten nicht sauber, Toilettenpapier fehlt und man fühlt sich unwohl. Geht gar nicht!

Один человек из персонала хотел мне помочь, найти мою вещь, потому что он точно не видел у них. Но к сожалению, уже кто-то из персонала ее прикарманил, и когда я пришла спросить нашли ли мои вещи, меня просто грубо выгнали.

Essen war bislang immer okay, Standard Burger King-Qualität. Service ist auch gut - an dieser Stelle ein großes Lob an die jederzeit freundliche und hilfsbereite 2 Mitarbeiterinnen. Vollen Punkteabzug gibt es jedoch für das Ambiente. Den streng genommen ist das kein Burger King, sondern ein afrikanischer Kulturverein mit Kino und Kindergarten. Die afrikanischen Reinigungskräfte bringen stets die gesamte Sippe mit zur Arbeit, die dann durch das Restaurant herumrennt und schreit, TV (auf Smartphone) schaut oder lauthals telefoniert. Man kann einfach nicht in Ruhe Essen, keine Chance.

Ja ich hatte in der Nähe einen Termin und wollte auf die Schnelle was essen. Empfang war in Ordnung, das Ambiente ist typisch wie in einem Bahnhof und die Pommes waren nicht wirklich durch, die Cola hatte kaum Kohlensäure, die Chickenburger waren in Ordnung. Ich muss nicht wieder hin, wenn es nicht sein muss.

Ein ganz schlechte Burger King, der Service ist grausam, die Mitarbeiter langsam, manche frech zu Kunden und die Wartezeit ist ewig. Ne mehr.

Egal wer da arbeitet (bis auf die nette asiatische Frau, die ist richtig gut), das personal ist komplett überfordert und versucht immer alle gleichzeitig zu bedienen, verrechnen sich mehrmals beim rückgeld und reden während meine Bestellung aufgenommen wird noch mit anderen Kunden die irgendwas wollen... Wiener Platz halt.

Schnell und höflich, leider vermisse ich die Zeiten wo man noch persönlich bestellen konnte.

Es konnte sauberer sein Der Junge Mann an der Kasse war sehr Nett Ablagewagen habe ich nicht gesehen Sonst okay.

Hab mir dort Chilli Cheese Burger bestellt und innerhalb von 2 Minuten bekommen, hat zeitlich super geklappt aber als ich dann im Zug war und die ersten Burger im Verdauungstrakt angekommen sind bemerkte ich ein unschönes gefühl in der Magengegend! Ich war darauf gefühlt die Nacht 6 mal auf der Schüssel um einen abzuseilen, und hatte einen Blähbauch. Vielen Dank

Normaler Burger King, leicht schmutzig. KING des Monats Menü ok, jedoch Pommes zu salzig für meinen Geschmack. Umgebung nicht so schön, da Wiener Platz.

Das Essen ist ja immer gleich weltweit. Der Ort hier ist einer der hässlichsten, die ich je gesehen habe.

Der Burger King hier is wie ne Mystery Box, man bestellt, hat aber am Ende trotzdem was ganz anderes in der Tüte oder zu wenig, aber seltsamerweise nie zu viel 🧐🧐🧐 Neuste Schandtat: 20 Plantbased Nuggets mit Süß-Sauer bestellt, 9 normale Nuggets mit Salsa bekommen Dafür dann auch noch ne viertel Stunde gewartet 👏

Was will man hier großartig sagen... Burger King halt. Das personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente naja nicht immer so schön. Wiener Platz halt, Assi's und Drogenabhängige gehören hier ab und an zum normalen Tagesablauf der Filiale! Positiv: Einzige Toilette im ganzen Einkaufzentrum! (0,80€!)

Das ist der einzige Burger king den ich in Köln kenne der sauber und ordentlich arbeitet , diese Filiale ist ausgenommen von dem Skandal und ich kann euch nur empfehlen hier zu essen und sonst nirgendwo

Cheeseburger sind Staubtrocken (wohl alte Brötchen), kaum Ketchup drauf und nur lauwarm - bekommt man so kaum runtergewürgt. 2. Burger habe ich verschenkt! Burgerking war vor 25 Jahren mal ok. - wird aber immer schlechter! Von langer Wartezeit und dreckigen Tischen mal ganz abgesehen - Ich gehe nicht mehr zu Burgerking (rausgeworfenes Geld)!!! - Lieber zu McDonald. Dort portionieren die Mitarbeiter zB. Ketchup und Senf auf den Burgern nicht nach eigener Lust & Laune. Dafür haben sie automatische Portionierungs-Pistolen! Cool war auch: Hatte der Verkäuferin einen 20€-Schein vor Zeugen gegeben. Sie hat mir aber nur auf 10€ rausgegeben. Und tat völlig überrascht reagiert, als ich ihr sagte: "Da fehlen aber noch 10€ Rückgeld!" - Also nee! Da hole ich mir lieber unten in der Passage am Stand ein halbes oder ganzes Brathähnchen direkt vom Grill-Drehspieß! Das schmeckt wenigstens prima, ist frisch und knusprig!!!

Ich bin kein Burger King Fan, aber alles in allem war es ganz gemütlich dort. Was mich gestört hat war, daß bei einer Toilette die Spülung kaputt war und es etwas laut war.
