McDonald's in Köln

The fries were cold, the hamburger wasn't cooked (the cheese wasn't melted). Everything had to be redone, what a waste of food😡👎 The staff seemed pretty normal about it, or rather, they didn't care.

Well, not the best in the area. Many guests from different countries stay there.

Toilet broken and dirty. Hand dryer defective. One urinal was broken, the other wasn't cleaned at 9:40 in the morning. There is no more butter. Otherwise, McDonald's

A McDonald's like you see every now and then in big cities.

The food tastes perfect, prices are rather expensive but worth it. The employees are nice but it can take up to a quarter of an hour to get your food at the checkout. The location is well chosen and looks beautiful. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⬛ -Aaron Seider.

I was forced by the employees to pack my things myself because their "kiosk" wasn't working properly and our take-away order was now for us to eat here... I've never experienced anything so unfriendly...

So the food doesn't need to be explained. But what is very inappropriate is the behavior of the employees. While we were waiting, we noticed how an employee in the kitchen was amused by not washing his hands and still preparing the food, the employee who was supposed to pack our burgers had a pop in her nose right in front of us and then wanted to pack our burgers... There was rubbish everywhere in the corridors, in the kitchen (as far as we could see) there were cardboard boxes on the floor, there was rubbish everywhere there too... so all in all we suddenly lost our appetite for burgers!

Unfriendly staff and the term “fast” food doesn’t apply here either! Didn't get any food... I'm never coming back.

Absolute disaster. There wasn't much going on, but all the ordering terminals were still occupied because people didn't listen and just blocked. No pressure from the staff. You probably don't want to get anything done. Time is money and my time is too valuable to wait for people like that.

Slowest McDonald's I've been to in all of Europe. No organization at the back, people are constantly shouting "It's not finished, it has to be done!" McDonald's is a fast food restaurant and needs to be as fast as possible. Waiting time for me: 18 minutes

Delivery service: The experience with the delivery service is frustrating. After almost an hour of waiting, my order was canceled at the last minute. If the items you ordered are not available, please cancel the order in time and do not mark it as “in preparation” in the app. This wasted my time and I had to rush to find something else before everything closed. On-site experience: The counters are often dirty and the staff appears unprofessional. Cleanliness and customer service don't seem to be a priority here.

We were there at night and there really isn't anything good to say. Mountains of rubbish piling up on the tables, burgers carelessly mashed together and incorrect orders in the bag are just a few of the points. Never again

I ordered a strawberry cake. Since it was frozen I got a chocolate cake. Since it is melting chocolate, the cake was extremely hard and inedible. The wait also took extremely long. I hope for improvement from such a well-known fast food chain.

Because of fast food. Ordered food. But it didn't come. The car in front of me had been waiting for ages. I then gave up and drove even though I had already paid.

It has happened several times that whenever I got something to take away, a few things were missing. Of course, they are also people and mistakes can happen, but if it happens often, I start to believe that the customers there are being deliberately deceived. Today it was too much for me and I called the branch. The employee was just rude and said there was nothing he could do. Next time I'm there I'll talk to the branch manager.

Over 30 minutes for a 6 piece of chicken nuggets

The worst McDonald's of all time. The store was overcrowded because an apparently new employee (who could barely speak German) was left alone while the manager or supervisors said I had to eat something too. There was rubbish everywhere in the restaurant and outside. While the McCafe area was cordoned off and cleaned by someone else. We then had to wait almost 45 minutes until our order was ready, which was wrong, cold and old because other people were given preferential treatment. (Cologne, Frankfurterstrasse in Buchheim)

Fast service, so far everyone has always been really nice, if something is missing you get the right product straight away, no really long waiting times, mostly clean.

10/15/2024 I sat with my wife and wanted to eat, we waited 56 minutes for our order in which everything was cold and 1 burger was missing, after another 37 minutes I finally got my cold burger, good shift, terrible employees. Serial number 133

Save yourself the trip here. Cold fries that are already stacked at the back to save time and work, cold nuggets. Wrong drink (which has happened several times). Burgers are always given incorrectly and distributed randomly as it appears.

I travel almost all over North Rhine-Westphalia and was a regular customer there because of the convenient location, but as I've noticed lately they're not only unfriendly but also provocatively unfriendly. Maybe it's because you're underpaid for the salary, you might as well go collect bottles.

20 minutes before the end, I ordered the mc smart menu and what do I get, cold, unpalatable food. The burger patty on the cheeseburger was apparently too big because it was supposed to be a large burger. It's a shame that you have to spend almost €12 for something like that. One of the bread was watery and you could see that it was starting to mold. Something like that doesn't work and if you pay money for it and then you get something like that, it doesn't work at all. Orders will not be delivered until the store is closed. No clues, nothing. Delivery continues to be delayed and then - with luck - canceled or you end up running after your money because nothing was delivered.

Not ordered. We turned around. No limit and complicated to speak the language for visitors. You have places for electric cars but no terminal to order... I would add that the menu is very small. There aren't as many as the others around!

Were there for breakfast. Friendly staff. The food was freshly prepared and good. The only point of criticism... We still need to work on the cleanliness of the tables.

I would love to give ZERO STARS, but that's not possible! The employees are so incompetent, unfriendly and just barely speak German. You order a menu for five children and you simply don't get a straw with the statement: "Straw only for milkshake" 🤨

Unfortunately the whole stay was very disappointing. Ordering at the terminal sometimes went really well except for a few delays here and there, but I'm used to bad things from other branches. Then came the food, since you can never really set your expectations high at McDonald's, my expectations were pretty low. Three fries and one 20 piece chicken nuggets were ordered, 3 of which were unsalted and the chicken nuggets were cold. Next time I'll go to a different McDonald's.

Very dirty, burgers were cold and sometimes hard. If you complain, you will be treated poisonously. Fresh burgers weren't made either. This branch is not recommended.

I would like to share an extremely disappointing experience at McDonald's that I had on 7/30/2024 around 10:00 p.m. I placed my order online and paid via PayPal. To my dismay, the amount was debited from my account not once but twice without me receiving any confirmation of my order. When I approached the shift manager for help, I was shocked by his reaction. He spoke in a rude tone and explained to me that he didn't care and that he didn't have time to deal with my problem. When I then asked for the manager to clarify the matter, the shift supervisor even threatened to call the police. His behavior was not only unprofessional but also offensive. Furthermore, his pronunciation was so bad that it was difficult to even understand him. The way I was treated here is absolutely unacceptable and I strongly discourage anyone from visiting this McDonald's, especially when this shift manager is on duty. The lack of professionalism and handling of customer complaints is shocking. I will certainly not be returning and I absolutely cannot recommend this location.

Even one star is too many. Waited over 1 1/2 hours for the food. The food was cold and the order was not complete. Special requests were not addressed. Just a dirty shop. Tip from me: order somewhere else!

We just ordered through Uber Eats. We had 2 menus and both arrived without drinks. The Uber Eats delivery person said he didn't get any drinks with the order and that I should call McDonald's. I called and didn't even get an apology, just a "get in touch with Uber Eats, we have nothing to do with it". I reported this to Uber Eats and we got €0.50 back. Just embarrassing. 2 drinks for €0.50. Thanks for the great solution.

I placed an order with myself today. When it came time to unpack the order, it turned out that Carly Fries were missing! Employees are either deceiving their customers or not paying attention! Now I can't trust the McDonald's network

As in all McDonald's branches, the music here is far too loud. Short work is practically impossible because I don't understand his own words. Especially if you have to sit near speakers. I don't understand why you have to turn the music up so loud.

I would have liked to give a better rating, but only after taking a closer look and standing at the Mc-drive for 2 minutes did we realize that this branch is not open at night. I'm well aware that not all McDonalds can be open at night, but all the signs were brightly lit, including the display board at Mc-drive, so I was very disappointed.

By far the worst MC Donald since we've known it!!! Old and dry bread, totally cold, the chicken burgers & the fries were soggy cold, not cooked through and ended up straight in the trash, absolutely outrageous such food... Simply disgusting! 🤢 Normally we haven't eaten fast food in a long time and that shows us why... Worst McDonald's ever... Never again!!!

Workers giving you weird looks and standing there staring at you then whispering to one another that’s just distasteful your all grown ups act like it. Idk what that burger is tbh it’s a mac rib there’s like 5% saus in the bun cause the rest is all over the packaging and the bag. Wouldn’t recommend this Mac donalds to anyone at all

So one star is really too many. Wanted to order an ice coffee. Just as specified in the computer. The coffee was missing from the shake. Still had to pay the same price. Had a great discussion. The employees are DISRESPECTIVE. So it's best to go somewhere else. The staff is extremely overwhelmed.

Even the 1 star is already too much. Slow-moving, unfriendly and argumentative staff including shift leaders. Dirty tables, some of the trays with packaging waste were still on the tables. When we politely pointed this out to the staff, they grimaced and said in an annoyed tone that a colleague would be informed and to top it off, when I complained that my chicken from Crispychicken wasn't cooked through, there was a discussion about it: "That's normal, everyone sees it that way from" "then I would have to get a different burger if I wanted the meat to be cooked" with hanging and choking, a new burger was prepared for me.

The food was not only on the tray, but also on the floor in front of the counter, as well as under pretty much every table... The food was also a mix of cold and warm dishes, although everything should have been warm, but I guess That's just part of McDonald's. The biggest problem, however, was that I sat on the toilet that same evening/night with food poisoning!!! I've eaten better at McDonald's restaurants at every train station than here, so I'd rather eat somewhere else, Burger King or even at the gas station! Do yourself and your children, friends, relatives or whoever a favor and get your food somewhere else! But the employees were nice... I have to say that

Instead of McPlant, get a burger with meat. You have to be careful there. Otherwise you'll end up like Burger King at Wallraff. Overall, the worst McDonald's branch I've ever been to. Something like this shouldn't happen.

The ice cream doesn't taste good at all

The place is good, but there are no screens for ordering, and there are always at most 2 cashiers open and it gets very busy, and the scanning machine is almost always broken.

Our granddaughter wanted to go to McDonald's for dinner with her birthday party. It wasn't a child's birthday! 2 sets of grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins; we were 10 adults and 9 children! We pre-ordered the food via the app, the children's birthday room was prepared for us, we were personally welcomed by the head of the restaurant, and the food was immediately served to us in a friendly manner. The birthday child was very happy and we elders had a bizarre but great experience.

I don't think that's okay at all. The staff is very very disrespectful three things that I'm really upset about right now. First, the ice cream maker hasn't worked for almost three weeks. You should finally do something about it. Secondly, we were sitting at the branch yesterday at 10:30 p.m. and there was a corner that was completely empty. There weren't that many customers anymore and an employee started cleaning up the corners and he saw that we were still eating and just kicked us out of the corner, closed the area with a rope and then took us to another corner . It was pretty tight where there were a lot of other customers and other customers had already gone home yesterday because it was way too tight. And the third is all the citizens and so they are always served cold there is never warm.

Has the team changed recently? I've been here a few times in the last few weeks and have been disappointed every time, even though I thought that was just a daily occurrence on the other days. Apparently there is no table service anymore, although the shop was hardly busy, I and other customers were told that it was far too busy. While I picked up my food and ate it, I was able to see how much time the employee had for his cell phone. The fries were cold, as were the nuggets. It's a shame how things have developed, the bus was still delicious here recently and the service was good.
