McDonald's in Essen

Enttäuschend!! Das man kein Sterne Essen bekommt ist klar. Aber solche Burger zu verkaufen ist echt unterste Schublade. Der Burger hatte kaum Soße und wenig Salat. Der Salat der drauf war, war auch noch gammelig...Obwohl nur ca. 7 Kunden im Laden waren, wirkte das Team sehr überfordert. Hätten wir das Essen nicht mitgenommen, wäre der Burger definitiv zurückgegangen!! Auch der Rest der Bestellung war nicht zufriedenstellend.

Von der Bestellung am Terminal weniger als die Hälfte bekommen, Alle Saucen haben gefehlt, Getränk hat gefehlt, das komplette Vegie Menü hat gefehlt, Pommes kalt, nachdem wir 3x wieder hingelaufen sind, war zum Schluss alles nicht mehr warm. Eigentlich sollte man diesen Laden meiden, Dreck auf dem Boden, die Tabletts haben sich schon auf dem Abräumterminal gestapelt. Dann kommen die aucjh noch um Alles zu überprüfen,es fehlt wieder was, einfach Alles nur ärgerlich. Geschenkt wird hier Nichts, wir müssen bei euch Alles teuer bezahlen, also macht es endlich mal besser.

Sehr modern eingerichtet. Das Personal war aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen typisch McDonald's. Dafür also voll ok

Auch auf dem Parkplatz gewartet bis die Bestellung in das Auto gereicht wurde.

Jedes Mal fehlt etwas. Ganz egal wann man bestellt und was. Wenn man es reklamiert, wird es abgestritten.

Lange Wartezeit heute, 30min mussten wir auf unsere Bestellung warten.

Also mir wurde das falsche Menü gegeben und dann als ich hier angerufen habe hieße es das ich das bestellt hätte und in mein Gesicht aufgelegt respektloser geht’s ja auch nicht

Klein aber gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Man muss die kleine Filiale mögen

Der mitarbeiter der am Sonntag den 03.5.2026 Um 15:10 Am Schalter War wo man geld und die bestellungen abgibt im mc drive War super Unfreundlich Und hat komische kommentare abgegeben und einfach das rückgeld in die hand geworfen als wäre es Monopoly Spielgeld ich bin sowas von unzufrieden und langjähriger kunde ich werde nichtmehr kommen

Ware schön, wenn mc donalds langsam pleite geht. Kann jetzt kein bild posten. Preis Leistung ist lächerlich.

Wir haben auf unserer Heimfahrt einen Mitreisenden hier abgesetzt und anschließend auch etwas gegessen. Das Essen war in Ordnung. Es herrscht keine besondere Atmosphäre.

Bildschirm zum bestellen sehr unübersichtlich der Kunde muss die "Stelle" um eine Bestellung (BigMac Menü)abzuschließen und zu bezahlen regelrecht suchen,in meinem Fall nicht finden, für eine Fastfood Gastronomie mehr als traurig

Der schlimmste Mces, den es gibt. Essen kalt, Mitarbeiter maximal überfordert und regelmäßig fehlt Essen bei Bestellungen.

Einer meiner Top lieblings MC Donald Läden. Hier stimmt alles. Das Essen. Der Service und es ist Sauber.

Das Essen schmeckt lecker Mitarbeiter Verständnis voll. Filialleiter lustig und nett.

Wir haben keine bestellung bei der nichts fehlt. Seien es Soßen, beilagen oder auch ganze Burger fehlen teilweise. Sehr enttäuschend weil ich eigenlich gerne hier esse.

Zu fortgeschrittenen uhrzeiten mangelt es ein wenig an der Reinigung der Tische und sitze. Aber sonst halt wie ein McDonalds.

Das Fleisch im Burger ist einfach nur... katastrophal, der schlechteste Burger, den ich je in Deutschland gegessen habe.

I'm truly at the end of my rope. For the third time in a row, something was missing from my order – this time the cherry turnover. Furthermore, no one answered the phone, even though I called several times. It seems like no one there feels responsible. Extremely unreliable and absolutely disappointing.

Very clean McDonald's branch, and the food was very fresh. I highly recommend it... 👍🏼

The man at the first counter was very unfriendly, and his German was very broken and difficult to understand, which led to communication problems. Apparently, we all have to speak a foreign language if we want to order something at McDonald's. We wanted to order at exactly 3:05 PM. The man was at the first counter.

A McDonald's like any other. Stressed staff, mediocre fast food in a semi-clean restaurant.

Unfortunately, the fries are no longer as hot and crispy, and in general the food is no longer of top quality.

Only card payments and PayPal now, I don't want to be told how I have to pay. And the server could barely speak a word of German... LOL...

I used table service, but unfortunately, something was missing again, and I had to complain. The staff was friendly.

Waiting time 15+ minutes but they mark the order as ready for pickup after 2 minutes and keep waiting👎🏼

Food was cold, but they responded with new food, great.

The restrooms haven't been cleaned for hours or even days. When I spoke to the team leader, I was told he'd only been on duty for five minutes. The food was OK. I was there with my two granddaughters (ages 3 and 5). I haven't been to MC in years. Never again!

The kids really enjoyed the playground. There weren't enough staff, and service was a bit slow. Update. I was at this restaurant today. The fries are cold. The staff forgot to add another portion. I'm asking management for a response.

The food is ice cold even though you've waited 10 minutes, and then when you complain, you're rude and immediately address me as "you" is completely unacceptable, just as saying "sorry" or something like that isn't acceptable either. Either I apologize or I don't.

Today I placed an order at the office, and it was delivered in 20 minutes. I'm very satisfied; at other restaurants, you have to wait about an hour for lunch.

They said they brought the whole order but they didn't deliver the drink and sauce, we were with a girl and we both got a crumpled and sloppy burger, bad McDonald's

We used McDrive yesterday. Everything was perfect with the order! Very friendly, very reliable. Everything was prepared quickly and processed correctly. Thank you for the excellent service!

Unfortunately we had to leave again. We were there today, June 7th, 2025, around 9 p.m. There was a saleswoman with dark hair at the cash register. She was standing at the deep fryer, eating Twister, licking her fingers with relish and carrying on serving as if nothing had happened. So we left and went to Bottrop to Mc Donald's. It was disgusting and you will never see us there again.

The branch is clean; the floors were (almost) always mopped during my visits. The decor is nice after the renovation. The restaurant has four self-order kiosks, which are well-used. Outlets/USB charging ports are available at some tables. Ordering via the app usually works smoothly, too. Edit: A large fries is again only available with a homeopathic amount.

Good luck, everything. So far, everything's okay for a fast food restaurant. It's a relatively modern branch with a drive-thru and a children's playground. Unfortunately, when you place your order at the drive-thru, it's often misunderstood or you get less than you think. For example, the last time I ordered two meals and five cheeseburgers, then drove home, and unfortunately, I didn't notice until I got home that there were only two cheeseburgers instead of five. My mistake, of course; I should have checked, especially since it's happened to me there several times before. It's annoying.

It wasn't that clean here and I don't like that.

It's just McDonald's. McDrive parking and restrooms are available.

Extremely unfriendly store manager (half-bald). After I politely pointed out an error in my order, I only received a very unfriendly "HUH, check it!"

The fries were fresh, the burgers were cold and soggy... so no crunchy salad or anything like that. I was there around 3:30 p.m. and there were hardly any people there. So there's something else going on. Staff really very nice.

As a vegetarian, if you don't get the farmer's egg but meat and bacon, you'll lose your appetite

Nice, clean branch where you can drink your coffee in peace in the morning. The employee Marika at the checkout was very friendly and provided very good service. It's nice that they also offer milk alternatives, which unfortunately isn't offered everywhere today.

If you offer a delivery, at least everything you ordered has to be there...Waited 1 hour 40 minutes for the food and not even a delivery....Outrageous

I was disappointed when I saw my little BIC Mac. ....and it's not the packaging that saves money. I'll keep looking for something else...

I would have loved to eat there, but the crumbs that were still on the table would have filled me up again. Overall not so clean (men's toilets) it's better to keep your eyes and nose shut before opening the door.

Cleanliness and service were good Getting Cola instead of Fanta can happen... It was replaced immediately The Mc Rib has now been reduced to such an extent that it can no longer be compared with the original product, very little sauce that tastes as if it had been diluted with water, the color from originally dark red to brown is now light red??? With every - really every order something is missing or something is wrong. That's pretty awesome. I don't experience this as often at any McDonald's as I do here. Really 10 out of 10 orders are wrong. Guys - read the entire order carefully before packing it up. Please go to another McDonald’s.

Tables dirty… and waiting time 44 minutes for 3 smart menus…. Then the extra double cheeseburger was forgotten...4€ for nothing...the store wasn't even full...unfortunately sad what's going on at McDonald's these days

The food is well prepared and fresher than in some other Mc's but this time the Mc Drive staff shot the bird... missing a chip or mayonnaise is nothing new but this time a whole menu with 2 chicken burgers... when you get home Don't get back in the car and drive back...so always check and please train your service team better...6€ the error borders on fraud.

Unfortunately, the tables were dirty and the burger was so full that everything fell out at the back. This is a little better than the competition. But overall it was great, you know what to expect.

I'm super disappointed, disgusting everywhere especially toilet pee everywhere and smells like piss, Even McDonald's your opinion doesn't work either. Honestly no words

So I rarely eat at McDonald's. But overall it's gotten really bad. The employees seem disorganized. In some cases, numbers were called out with the respective order and many customers looked at each other questioningly because no one understood the numbers because of the poor pronunciation. I mean, what's the point of having a monitor if it's not going to be used? All of our fries were cold. My Big Mac, well I don't know what to say about that. The bread that goes between the meat was missing. So I basically had 2 patties on top of each other. The bread was simply forgotten and just left in the box, so I had to pull the two cheese-stuck patties apart to put the bread between them. I mean, I'm not picky. The McCrispy forgot the cheese and sauce. Very long waiting times. But I've never experienced anything like this before.

In the evening we went to McDonald's with the children. Exceptionally, otherwise we rarely go there. Ate cheeseburgers, the M-burger and nuggets. The service was okay. It took a while to prepare but it was acceptable. Everything was still warm. At night everyone who had eaten the burgers started having stomach problems and vomiting. It was definitely the last visit to McDonald's for us.

System catering also means that the ice cream is not made first and is left to melt for 10 minutes until the order is ready, which I then eat first. It sounds strange but it is true.

At eleven in the morning the world is still in order here, service is good, Coke and muffin bought are quickly returned.

You know what you're getting. You can go there every now and then. Once again we didn't have enough in the bag. With large quantities you only notice it at home. It's annoying when people can't count. I paid more again. From today on the queue can be as long as we can count.

Stop for a snack. Unfortunately everything was only luke warm.

I just ordered with glass via Lieferdo but no glass was delivered and when you call no one answers I'm pissed off

It's sad that when you want a certain glass and just because you're limited and can't get there quickly, everyone always gets it. And I'm not alone in that.

The hamburgers tasted completely different than elsewhere and can only be recommended

Waited a very long time for an ice cream, almost half an hour

Just picked up some food from there. When we got home the pack of fries was half empty. Really sad about the prices... Last time I was there......

Ordered via Lieferando and after over an hour only half was delivered cold. After calling, a subsequent delivery was refused. CUSTOMER should cancel and reorder from Lieferando so that they can collect double money from Lieferando for a delivery. Only after you have requested a delivery a little more aggressively will it be checked whether you would like to deliver.

My cold burger looked strange, who knows why. I'd rather not know. The nuggets taste of breading and water. Never again!!!!!

Apparently it's currently being remodeled. no breakfast, no sit-down toilets. Eating took ages even though there was nothing going on. Afterwards, no one was responsible for my take-away coffee. overall needs improvement.

Nugget wasn't made properly, just ate the breading in liquid form, pulled cheese over the counter in the kitchen in the evening without gloves and then put it in the burger. Not really hygienic, but that could also be my opinion.

Unclean and dirty tables, disgusting toilets where a homeless woman washed herself in the sink.

Unfortunately, as has become common practice at McDonald's, there are no milkshakes available. Otherwise nothing to complain about, staff friendly, shop clean and parking good too.
