McDonald's in Essen

Kann mir die Leitung dieses McDonald's bitte erklären, warum bei einer derart extremen Hitze wie heute (37 °C) die Klimaanlage im Gastraum nicht funktioniert? McDonald's war für mich immer ein Vorbild in Sachen Service und Qualität. Was ist daraus geworden? Heute mussten meine Kinder und ich unser Happy Meal so schnell wie möglich essen, weil die Hitze im Restaurant kaum auszuhalten war. An einen angenehmen Aufenthalt war überhaupt nicht zu denken. Gerade an so heißen Tagen sollte ein funktionierendes Klimasystem selbstverständlich sein. Ich hoffe sehr, dass dieses Problem schnell behoben wird.

Draußen 37 Grad und drinnen keine Klimaanlage! Die Bestellungen dauern ewig, obwohl nicht viele Gäste da sind. Klimaanlagen scheinen in Deutschland ein großes Problem zu sein. Vielleicht sollten wir uns einfach mit dem Klimawandel abfinden?

Bei 36 °C Außentemperatur funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht bzw. es gab keine Kühlung. Im Restaurant war es unangenehm heiß, sodass der Aufenthalt kaum auszuhalten war. Gerade bei solchen Temperaturen sollte eine funktionierende Klimaanlage selbstverständlich sein. Leider keine angenehme Erfahrung.

Heute zwischen 11-12 Uhr vor Ort gewesen und es gab nichts zu bemängeln. Nette und freundliche Bedienung die auch Auskunft zu den Menüs gegeben hat oder Leuten bei der digitalen Bestellung half, alles sauber, Essen so erhalten wie bestellt und das ist ja heute auch nicht mehr normal. Nur zu empfehlen!👍🏻

Wir haben auf unser Essen eine Stunde gewartet mit Service deshalb ist zwar sehr unsympathisch unsere Getränke wollen er mehr mit Eiswürfel als das Getränk Die Burger waren ungenießbar und einfach nur schrecklich kommt lieber McDonald's

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich möchte mich über meinen Besuch in Ihrer McDonald’s-Filiale beschweren. Am [Datum] habe ich eine kleine Bestellung aufgegeben, aber ich musste fast eine Stunde darauf warten. Diese lange Wartezeit ist für eine einfache Bestellung nicht akzeptabel. Außerdem war ich mit dem Verhalten einiger Mitarbeiter nicht zufrieden. Der Umgang mit den Kunden war nicht freundlich und nicht professionell. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass die Situation nicht gut organisiert wurde. Ich besuche McDonald’s normalerweise gerne, aber diese Erfahrung war sehr enttäuschend. Hat 10 minuten zu füh zu gemacht absolut inakzeptabel. Nicht weiter zu empfehlen außer mit Reservierung.

Unfreundliche Mitarbeiterin, welche bei der Takeawaybestellung die Getränke komplett vergessen hat sowie bei den Gläsern die falschen-zuerst nur 1- hinstellte. Patzig knallte sie dann den Rest, es fehlte das 2. Glas,hin und meinte herablassend haben nix anderes.. Zuhause dann festgestellt, dass Speisen falsch bzw gar nicht eingepackt Nie wieder dieses Restaurant

Wir waren heute zum letzten Mal da. Das heute hat allem die Krone aufgesetzt. Ein Junki Alte hat uns maximal belästigt wir würden aufs übelste beleidigt im Beisein von unseren Kindern. Diese Frau hat jeden Kunden ins essen gegriffen beleidigt und uns bedroht. Das Personal war nicht in der Lage etwas da gegen zu tun. Ich selbst habe nach langem ruhig bleiben den Dreck vor die türe setzen müssen. Nie wieder in diesem Laden.

Ein aufgescheuchter Hühnerstall ist organisierter, als die Arbeiter da! Jeder machte alles. Statt einer nur grillt, einer für die Pommes da ist usw und jemanden der hauptsächlich die Bestellungen eintütet. Nein! Hühnerhaufen! Vor mir wurden 3x Sachen vergessen einzupacken. Immer bei den Kinder Menüs. Spielzeug oder solche Quetschies fehlten. Meine Burger waren natürlich nur lauwarm...

Gerade eben (03.05.26, 22:30) haben die Mitarbeiter uns extra lange warten lassen und auf Nachfrage wurden wir ignoriert. Leider Mega unfreundlich. Wir hatten einen Cheeseburger, eine Pommes und einen Milchshake und ein Eis bestellt - in der Wartezeit wurden mehrere Autos, auch mit essen und trinken vorgelassen worden. Nachdem wir kalte Pommes bekommen haben sind wir reingegangen und haben versucht mit dem Verantwortlichen zu sprechen. Daraufhin wurde die Verantwortung von dem stellvertretenden Schichtleiter nur abgegeben und uns wurde nur eine Nummer gegeben, an die wir uns wenden sollen. Ein auf Niemehrwiedersehen hat das Gespräch beendet. Pommes und Burger haben wir wenigstens neu bekommen.

Meines Erachtens DER beste MC's in ganz Essen und Umgebung, sehr frisch zu bereitet und immer schön warm.

Da gebe ich doch auch mal wieder die volle Punktzahl - und wenn es auch nur mittags während unserem Besuch war. Es war wenig los, der Service war schnell und freundlich. 30 Minuten später wurde dann die Essensbestellung aufgegeben und trotz Sonderwünschen wurde unser Essen schnell und fehlerfrei und heiß serviert. Völlige Begeisterung. Es wurde regelmäßig aufgeräumt und die Tablettwagen geleert, alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit. Jedoch denke ich, dass ein Pissoir leckt. Es ist sehr sehr nass darunter. Da aber laut Reinigungsplan erst eine halbe Stunde vorher der Kontrollgang stattgefunden hat, muss das wohl so sein. Wer bin ich schon, der da die Profis auf etwas hinweisen soll, mit dem er sich nicht auskennt?

Ich gebe dem McDonald’s in Stoppenberg (Essen) 3 Sterne. Das Essen ist wie bei McDonald’s üblich schnell verfügbar und meist frisch zubereitet. Die Mitarbeiter sind überwiegend freundlich und der Service ist in Ordnung. Allerdings kann es zu Stoßzeiten sehr voll sein, wodurch Wartezeiten entstehen und die Sauberkeit manchmal etwas nachlässt. Insgesamt solide, aber nichts Besonderes.

Es ist ein Ort, an dem man ganz entspannt vorbeischauen kann. Ich komme mindestens einmal im Monat hierher.

Unhöflich, jedes Mal beim Drive Bestellungen falsch, jedes Mal muss man erst hinkriegen

Der einzige Nachteil wenn wir da hinkommen müssen wir vorher fünf Sprachen lernen

Zum wiederholten Mal sind falsche Produkte oder Saucen bei McDrive eingepackt worden. Wenn etwas mehr los ust, versagt der Service und die Genauigkeit.

Ständig wird was vergessen wirklich Ständig. Was ist daran sooo schwer 1 Bundle zu packen 4 Burger, wie kann man 2 vergessen von 4.

Guten Abend! Wir haben vor einer halben Stunde bestellt, und die Mitarbeiter haben den Brownie vergessen. Wir haben es erst zu Hause bemerkt. Das ist nicht das erste Mal, dass das passiert ist. Was sollen wir jetzt tun?

Dort scheint wer neues das sagen zu haben. Man kann dort mittlerweile wieder essen. Egal ob zum Frühstück oder Mittags / Abends. Tische werden regelmäßig sauber gemacht

Es ist eine der schlechtesten und schlimmsten Fiale die ich je bei einem McDonald's gesehen o. erlebt habe. Schon beim reinkommen sah man den Müll auf dem Boden herumliegen. Nachdem ich nach ca. 30 min immer noch nicht meine Bestellung bekommen hatte bin ich nach vorne hin ( och wir haben Sie ganz vergessen). Wurde ganz schnell zubereitet. Und die Lautstärke wie auf einer Bahnhofshalle. Nicht mal 1 Stern wert!!! Nicht zu empfehlen!!!!!

Schon zum zweiten Mal bei einer Bestellung Zuhause festgestellt, dass nicht alles drin war. Beim Mcsmart Menü wurden die Burger vergessen. Ich kann ja verstehen, dass mal Fehler unterlaufen aber ärgerlich ist es trotzdem, man zahlt ja nicht wegen Pommes und Getränk. Also jetzt vorher immer kontrollieren 🤷‍♀️

Mutiert zum Mc-Internet-Café: Acht Tische, ausgelegt für mindestens vier Personen, sind über Stunden hinweg restlos von Einzelpersonen besetzt. Alle sitzen an ihren Laptops oder Tablets – teilweise ohne überhaupt etwas bestellt zu haben, die andere Hälfte mit einer seit Stunden leeren Tasse vor sich. Hauptsache, alle Steckdosen sind belegt 🤣🤣 Traurig, dass sich darum niemand kümmert. Kommt man als Familie, muss man sich regelrecht in die feste Reihe setzen, damit man wenigstens gemeinsam an einem Tisch essen kann.

Einfach nur katastrophal Wraps waren kalt und halb leer, die Burger waren genauso lieblos zusammen gesetzt. Es war unfassbar dreckig, wir mussten zum Tresen gehen und uns einen Lappen geben lassen da wir von dem Tisch wirklich nicht essen wollten.... Alles in allem nicht das was ich, bei den Preisen, von einem McDonald's erwarte

Früher mochte ich Mäckes nicht. Heute bin ich gern da.

It was actually always my favorite MC, but the cola has been too thin in syrup for weeks. I thought it was an isolated incident, but unfortunately, it seems to have become the norm.

No disabled parking spaces. Really annoying with a wheelchair-accessible bus.

My last visit wasn't great. I mean, living in Germany, and even though I speak English fluently, I wasn't thrilled that my order was handled by three different people. In the end, I had to place my order in English. Five minutes for two hamburgers without pickles! 🤣

Food is mostly cold or only slightly warmed. Service OK. Plenty of choice.

Very poor service! The staff was rude and made a very unfriendly impression. I waited nine minutes for just two cappuccinos. When I asked where my coffee was, I received a sharp reply: "Wait!" Meanwhile, guests who had ordered after me had already received their orders. My order wasn't even visible on the board. Furthermore, I had explicitly stated that my order was for takeout, yet the drinks were simply placed on the counter. Instead of the stated three servings of milk and sugar per drink, I only received one serving each. When I asked for the correct order, I was treated as if I were stealing something. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've had such a negative experience here.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the staff, I have never seen such a fast order preparation in Germany. Many thanks to the staff for valuing other people's time 🤍

I was at McDonald's today at 8:58 a.m. to do a quick bite of work and attend a meeting at 9 a.m. While I was in the meeting, an employee approached me and rudely told me to order immediately, or I wouldn't be allowed to sit down or use the internet. I explained that I would order after the meeting, but he said I should have done so beforehand. The supervisor reacted similarly, implying that customers who didn't order immediately were potential thieves. It was a truly unpleasant experience.

I ordered a burger without cheese and got a burger with cheese, where the beef tasted like fish. And as if that wasn't enough, there was a hair in the burger. I showed the employee the hair, who said it wasn't hair and wiped it on his pants. And of course, he left without replacing the burger or offering me anything else. I advise everyone not to eat here.

They're advertising a Happy Meal toy (Squishmallow), but they don't have it in stock. A total rip-off. I also had to wait almost 15 minutes for two Happy Meals.

Clean branch with self-service pads, fast table service, and good tram connections. But it's just a Meccanica, right?

The kitchen was working without any protective equipment or gloves. They were wiping sweat from their foreheads with bare hands and then preparing the burger 🍔. The employee didn't speak a word of German. It took us about 15 minutes to place a single order. The machines worked, but unfortunately, there's no reception in the store. It should be a given that the staff can speak German to take orders. Gloves should be worn in the kitchen, and more attention should be paid to hygiene in general. The sauce on the Big Mac tasted stale, so I didn't finish the burger.

After my girlfriend and I had honestly reviewed a disastrous restaurant visit where, apart from the food, EVERYTHING was a disgrace (the cleanliness of the restrooms, tables, and storage compartments was poor, there was zero communication from the staff, and the food was slammed onto the pickup counter without my pickup number being displayed or called), one day later my account points were set to 0, my bonus points were not credited, my points history was deleted, and my favorite restaurant was deleted!!! This is a bottomless impudence and the height of antisocial behavior!

The place exudes the inviting charm of a 3 a.m. restroom—only without the romance. The restrooms? An olfactory experience that lingers in your nose for hours. The food is carelessly slapped onto the tray, as if it doesn't even want to be eaten. Communication? None. The order number wasn't even called out—you have to guess for yourself whether that's your menu. In short: If you want to experience how low the bar can be for service and cleanliness—welcome. One star, because zero, unfortunately, isn't possible.

I am completely disappointed and angry. I ordered via the terminal. After ordering, the terminal swallowed my receipt. Then I went to an employee who was standing at a checkout. First of all, she coldly ignored me. So she put someone else in front of me. When she finally spoke to me, I didn't understand her. I felt totally misunderstood. When I got home, I realized that the shitty place had ripped me off again. Another burger was missing. With every order I place there, something is always missing... That was the last time. Absolutely incompetent branch. Burgers are regularly missing (sometimes even several!) from the drive-thru order. I won't be going to this store again in the future!

I haven't seen such unfriendly staff in a long time. 5 orders on the board, we stood in the store for 25 minutes even though it wasn't full... then you get a rude answer from some blonde with glasses because you ask "why all the orders that came after us are ahead of us" "we only ordered 4 burgers plus a drink and stood in the store for almost half an hour, that was our last visit to this branch... We ordered a burger in the drive there today and the money was given appropriately. Afterwards they tried to rip us off for one euro, claiming we hadn't given enough money. Communication was difficult until the branch manager was called in afterwards. Conclusion: I would rather be hungry than eat there again

We were there late in the evening, the restaurant was well filled, despite this the tables were clean, as was the floor, we got our food quickly and the staff were very friendly!

Neat and structured McDonald's, the store is relatively small inside, but it's enough to order and eat there for a short time. The drive-in is of course very full at peak times, so you sometimes have to wait a little longer. Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired, especially during peak times, in my opinion, more attention should be paid to service. If you order ice cream at the terminal, it can take 15-20 minutes until it is brought to your table.

Burgers are generally served unfinished, with the cheese still in an intact slice without it even having a chance to melt. Fries are browner - and harder... unfortunately. The time you take for the fries should be given to the cheese to melt instead. The toilets are always a disgrace and the tables are dirty every time you visit. Has worn off a lot!

I was really annoyed (not for the first time) when I ordered at the drive-thru and didn't receive the entire order. I don't understand such a "service". How can this happen to you so often???

This is the second time in a row that I have ordered something for my children and for us from Mc Drive and the first time the presents for the children were not wrapped for us with the happy meal. Today, December 28th, 24, shortly before 9 p.m., no gift was included with the happy meal again and although it was confirmed upon request that a gift was included, I couldn't find a gift at home again. So it seems that this is done intentionally there. So now I drive to McDonald's just to have crying children at home while I eat. What's wrong with you? And don't start telling me that I have to check larger orders upon receipt, which is simply impossible when you want to eat warm at home. My family will definitely not go to this branch again. Finally do your job properly again. Absolutely not possible!!!!!!!

If you no longer have time to wait for food after almost half an hour, they are no longer willing to pay you anything back. So if there are a few people in this store, I would just walk out. Thanks for being hungry.👌

Food cold - "management staff" rude and arrogant Other staff do not speak German Shop totally filthy - tables not cleared, even though there were only three customers sitting at three tables, floor and tables sticky, toilet facilities a horror That doesn't work at all!

Just a pure disappointment. For 50€ ordered via Lieferando, the 5.25€ delivery fee was accepted and after more than 2 hours of waiting, where according to the app the order should arrive in 10 minutes, everything was canceled.

Just had a cuppa and a mc flurry. Ordering by app is easy and table service worked as expected.

So we ordered food today and the large fries were missing They called and apologized and it would be delivered straight away After 40 minutes I got a call and asked if it was okay if the money was transferred back And I insisted that the fries be delivered as ordered We were told they would clarify it briefly and get in touch. After another 20 minutes the call came and we could only pay the money back The store is an absolute joke There were problems during the last visit This was the last time we ordered there!!!

We were there for the first time on Sunday morning (2am). It wasn't busy and the staff really kept the place spotless, clean parking lot, clean tables and clean floors. I was surprised that I noticed it so much, as I have often seen it differently at that time and day. Our order was taken quickly and with a friendly smile by an employee and put together by two people hand in hand. Thanks!!!

Made two orders and then realized that you didn't get everything you paid for

Staff felt extremely overwhelmed, 10 employees behind the counter but waited at the checkout for 10 minutes and I only had 2 people in front of me. Approached the branch manager and was dealt with in a rude manner. Unfortunately, not everything we ordered was there.... Addressed the employee and the answer was WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!? The operator should make a big change here!!!! By the way, my visit took 30 minutes for two takeaway dishes and the staff was unbelievable

This is by far the worst McDonald's branch I have ever seen in all of North Rhine-Westphalia. The staff are all incompetent, they don't UNDERSTAND GERMAN at all, it feels like you're talking to a wall!! I was there last month and this month and twice I received an incorrect order! We discussed for minutes and the woman didn't understand a word! Apart from that, on both occasions I received a cheeseburger instead of a chicken burger. I will never go to this branch again.

The service is good and the atmosphere is excellent

A typical McDonald's. Volume and ambience is always a matter of day and time. Sometimes quite pleasant, sometimes more to take with you ;-) I usually pre-order in the app so that the order can quickly be seen on the display. So far I haven't had any problems with receipt - but I still check most of the time.

The one with glasses and little hair on his head is really outrageous. We kept our portions really small, no matter whether it was ice cream or fries. Then when we picked it up we were surprised and our friend said he was secretly looking at our reaction

They mixed up the sandwich in the order so I had to go and change everything. The garbage containers on both the terrace and the hallway are full. Tables and sofas are not wiped down, they are sticky.

An MC Donals branch that is very convenient and centrally located. You can park quite easily there (remember the parking disc 🤓) Cozy lounges in the middle area, tables with chairs positioned at the edge. There is a room for the little guests with a game (with lights for jumping/running). There is also a slide and seating outside. The service has always been very good, quite fast and the employees were friendly. The food was still hot when it was brought to the table, we were pleasantly surprised here, we weren't used to it at other branches. The only thing we didn't like so much were the toilets. I didn't notice the signage where the toilet was located, both times we were there the toilet room was unfortunately dirty and uninviting. Overall, however, highly recommended
