McDonald's in Essen

Dort arbeiten zwei kurdische Mädchen; sie sind sehr fröhliche und freundliche Menschen.

Essen ist leider oftmals nicht warm. Service teilweise sehr Freundlich,aber bei einigen Frage ich mich in Sie den falschen Job haben.

Das Essen schmeckt meistens gut und wird schnell serviert. Die Filialen sind oft sauber und das Personal ist freundlich. Manchmal sind die Wartezeiten etwas länger oder Bestellungen unvollständig, insgesamt aber ein guter Ort für einen schnellen Snack.

Eigentlich immer sauber angemessene wartezeit selbst wenn es voller wird.

Das Personal ist bei einer größeren Maße an Bestellungen unfähig, diese richtig abzuarbeiten. Es werden Burger vergessen einzupacken und das essen wird in der Tüte verteilt.

Warten seit 35 Minuten, nichts passiert. Kleine Bestellungen werden schnell erledigt. Das merke ich mir. Dieser Standort sieht mich nicht wieder.

Ich würde mir das 2 mal überlegen, dort essen zu gehen! Habe kürzlich etwas bestellt und habe dann einen total anderen Burger bekommen. Das Personal ist absolut unfreundlich und für mich ist der Laden gestorben!!!

Es ist halt Mcdonalds. Die Mitarbeiter sind immer freundlich.

Immer wieder fehlen Sachen, das ist System bei den Filialen von Prünte. In jedem Restaurant, es fehlen, natürlich, immer wieder Soßen, Ketchup oder Majo. Auch schon gehabt, im McDrive 2 Cheeseburger bestellt und bezahlt, nur einer in der Tüte, bei der Reklamation wird man angegrinst, oh aufgefallen... Ehrlich gesagt sollte man das Prünte-System ernsthaft hinterfragen. @McDonalds Deutschland, vielleicht mal aktiv werden 🤷

Die Pommes waren fast kalt, die Hamburger war kaum besser nor das Getränk war OK. Hätte mich beschweren müssen, nach her ist immer schlauer. Schade

Alles sieht zwar schön aus, aber es ist Fast Food und völlig nutzlos.

Wow, wollte gerade mal was online bestellen, aber das erste was mir aufgefallen ist, waren die 12 Euro 9er McNuggets. 12 Euro für 9 schisselige Nuggets?? Ihr seid McDonald´s, kein 2 Sterne Restaurant. Da bekommt man ja Schnappatmung. Gibt es irgendwelche Irren, die das Geld dafür ausgeben?!

Leckeres Essen und für Kinderspass ist gesorgt.

Es war eine sxhreckliche Erfahrung. Essen braucht ewig und schmeckt nach sxheiße. Nie wieder. Nicht zu empfehlen!!!!

Zusatz 8.5.2026 Dienstag 2 Puple Burger gegessen,und dach mal wieder eine Lebensmittel Vergiftung gehabt,musste heute ins Krankenhaus! Schichtführer bestritt,dass es an der Hygiene seiner Leute oder des Ladens war,und wurde noch frech! Ich habe nun mal wieder McDonalds eingeschaltet, die haben diesen Laden schonmal zur Hygieneschulung geschickt! Ich persönlich werde dort nichts mehr essen,es ist einfach nur gesundheitgefährdend,dort zu essen! Bin gepannt,ob der Schichtführer,der meint,er könne sich alles erlauben, nach dem Besuch von McDonalds immer noch große Fresse hat! Das hatten wir ja schonmal! Schlechter Service,unfreundliches Personal, alles wird ohne Handschuhe angetatscht, auch die Hamburgerpatties, personal kratzte sich am Hintern und stellte ohne Hände zu waschen alles nach und nach zusammen,in meinem Fall! Und,die gehen mit meinen Hamburgern um,völlig schief und einfach in die Schachtel geworfen,dass alles rausfällt! Das ist so,als würde man das Essen vor die Füße geworfen kriegen, völlig respektlos meiner Meinung nach,bei Preisen wie im Steakhaus!

Sehr freundliches, sehr hilfsbereites und schnelles Team mit viel Verständnis, auch wenn man sich als Kunde mal ein bisschen dumm angestellt hat und übersehen hat, dass die Bestellung komplett war.

McDonald's Preise muss man nicht drüber reden - überteuerte Müll, die konkrete Filliale wird jedoch kriminell vernachlässigt: von 5 remote bestellstationnen funktionieren nur 2, 2 "wollen aus Prinzip" nicht, bei den restlichen ist die bezahlfunktion außer Betrieb, der Monitor auf dem die abholbereiten Bestellungen angezeigt werden sollen funktioniert mindestens seit 2024 nicht. Die Mitarbeiter, die einzigen die hier Werte schaffen, sind gezwungen in nuscheligem, sehr von akzentbelastetem deutsch die Nummer durcheinander zu rufen, was zu weiteren Verzögerungen und Verwirrung bei der Kundschaft bei der Bestellung führt, abgesehen davon, dass man auf einen einfachen Cheeseburger, der in 30 Sekunden fertig ist, über 10-15 Minuten warten muss.

Ab und zu muss es auch mal McDonald sein und dann auf jeden Fall dieser. Hier stimmt einfach alles.

Waren im mc Drive, erstmal gibt es keine mcplant Nuggets mehr ???? Das war so gut wie das einzige was man als vegetarische Person dort essen konnte, naja. Ich hab die cheese Sterne genommen von denen 3 von 5 ohne Füllung waren, konnte also zwei essen und 3 mal Panade?. Finde es schade..

Die am Mc Drive erhaltenen Pommes waren nicht durch / weich und schwabbelig obwohl nur ein weiterer Kunde vor uns war. Eine der beiden bezahlten Saucen fehlte auch noch in der Tüte. Der bestellte Hamburger + der Cheeseburger waren kalt und alt. Wie lange haben diese wohl schon abgepackt herum gelegen ? Die hätten längst in den Müll gemusst anstatt diese noch zu verkaufen. Das war definitiv unser letzter Besuch hier in Steele.

IM DRIVE in Cola Zero bestellt aber nomale Cola bekommen, erst nach der Hälfte bemerkt. Noch geht es mir gut, ist aber für Diabetiker unmöglich

Es ist eine absolute Frechheit. Laut Google Maps ist bis 01:30 Uhr geöffnet, aber bereits um 01:00 Uhr wird man ignoriert und nicht mehr bedient. Wenn ihr keine Lust mehr habt zu arbeiten, dann ändert gefälligst eure offiziellen Öffnungszeiten. Es ist respektlos, Kunden umsonst anfahren zu lassen. Nie wieder.

Wir waren im Drive Inn. Das Essen war wirklich gut. Es hat alles geschmeckt wie es bekanntlich bei MC Donalds so schmeckt. 5 Sterne für ordentlich bestückte Burger die nicht wie bei anderen Filialen lieblos in die Pappen gepfeffert wurden. Alles was wir bestellt haben war warm, wurde sauber und komplett richtig bestückt überreicht. Nichts vergessen oder falsch. Daher war der Service mal herausragend gut. Der Mitarbeiter war trotz vollem Geschäft sehr nett, hat uns informiert und mitgedacht. So wie es sein soll. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht. Zum Anbiente kann ich nichts sagen, da wir ja nicht in der Filiale waren.

Das zweite Mal kalte Cheeseburger. Hatte 2 bestellt aber war sehr unappetitlich. Der Käse war nicht geschmolzen und am Rand vertrocknet wie alt oder stundenlanges Herumliegen. Die 2. Hälfte habe ich weggeworfen da ich Bedenken hatte mir den Magen zu verderben. Dieses ist das 2. Mal also keine Ausnahme!!!! Ein Lob einer netten jahrelangen Mitarbeiterin dafür vergebe ich die 2 Sterne

War im McDrive. Bestellt über App. Soweit alles gut. Nix los beim abholen. Aber...Pommes nicht durch und von der Bestellung fehlten die Nuggets. Mein Fehler, habe nicht sofort kontrolliert, erst zu Hause. Habe mich trotzdem geärgert. Denn das darf nicht sein, wenn Stress ist könnte ich es ggf erklären, aber man zahlt ja dafür. Also kontrolliert sofort!

Ich war mit einem Arbeitskollegen im Drive-In vor unserem Kundentermin. Nach dem Termin kamen wir erst dazu den chicken big Mac zu essen. Anbei ein Foto von dem Big-Mac. Einfach gescammt worden von diesem Laden. Da fehlte bei beiden Burgern je ein chicken patty. Es war nichts los also keine ausrede von wegen viel zu tun gehabt.

Jedes mal fehlt etwas! Prüft genau Eure Bestellung bevor ihr losfahrt!!!

Der Servicemitarbeiter, der am Morgen des 10.02. dort war, war sehr, sehr schlecht.

Eigentlich sagte mein Mann, er würde am Besten Null Sterne vergeben. Die Toilettenanlage ist eine Katastrophe, die Tische dreckig, das Essen no go. Kalt und geschmacklich sehr bescheiden. Allerdings war das Personal sehr bemüht und freundlich. Ach ja, noch was: statt Sprite (was auch auf meinem Zettel stand) habe ich Cola bekommen. Sehr schade

Die üblichen McDonald's Gerichte. Teilweise großer Andrang. Die Angestellten tun ihr bestes.

Nach jetzt mehrfach negativen Erfahrungen muss ich eine Bewertung abgeben. Es betrifft ausschließlich die McDrive Bestellung. Es fehlen oft die Soßen, zum McMenue bekomme ich hier keinen Milchshake (in anderen Filialen geht es) zudem ist das Essen oft kalt obwohl der Weg mit dem Auto nur 5 Minuten dauert. Es tut mir leid das zu sagen aber bisher der schlechteste MCDonald den ich kenne.

Wir haben zum Mitnehmen bestellt ,Wartezeit war viel zu lang, Pommes kopfüber in der Papiertüte, keine Servietten drin, und alle großen Burger waren lieblos aufeinander geklatscht, das man keine Chance hatte sie unfallfrei aus der Verpackung zu nehmen.

Lieblos zusammengebauter und zermatschter Burger. Schlechtes Preis Leistungsverhältis. Ok, Mc Donalds halt, wems gefällt...., ansonsten immer wieder ein Kritikpunkt der / die / das Kassierer die sich während des Kassiervorgangs schon mit dem nächsten Kunden im Drive Inn unterhalten. Da könnte man auch einen Bezahlautomaten aufstellen.

Bis jetzt war jedes Mal, wenn ich dort essen gegangen bin das Essen heiß und frisch. Das Personal ist IMMER super freundlich und da mache ich gerne den Weg von Gelsenkirchen hier hin.

Filiale in Essen-Steele Ein Stern ist sogar zuviel. Ich habe mich bis jetzt echt beherrscht etwas zu schreiben aber langsam reicht es… Waren heute mal wieder vor Ort und ok bis die Bestellung fertig war hat echt gedauert was ja auch nicht schlimm ist aber als ich die Bestellung erhielt hatte ich den Mitarbeiter freundlich gesagt das ich es nicht so toll finde das das bestellte Eis da schon seid 10 min rumstand da ich ein Eis und keinen Shake wolle seine Antwort war sowas von patzig von wegen “es stand im Schrank von daher soll man sich nicht so anstellen“ dann ist es recht ekelhaft wie man beobachten kann das der Mitarbeiter sich die Finger in den Mund steckt an seinen Nägeln rumkaut den abgekauten Nägel sichtlich auf den Boden spuckt. Als sollte in dieser Filiale mal das Gesundheitsamt auftauchen ist der Laden erstmal zu. Also wir waren zum letzten Mal hier weil unfreundlich in absolut dreckig.

Der einzige Laden im Umkreis von 40 km, der es hinbekommt warme Burger zu servieren.

Die extra Zutaten wurden leider nicht mitgegeben. Schade, wir haben es erst zu Hause bemerkt.

Ich habe anstatt sechs Chicken Nuggets nur fünf bekommen. Einmal wo es den Grimes Shake im Angebot war. Hab ich anstatt den Grimes Shake eine Fanta bekommen. Dieses Geld hätte ich mir auch sparen können.

Essen ist frisch, Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich,es ist sauber und modern eingerichtet.

Plant/Fleisch vertauscht, aber sofort und total lieb behoben. Als Entschädigung gab es sogar eine Apfeltasche.

There isn't a single vegetarian burger. That's really poor for a burger restaurant. Please add it back to the menu!

What can you say, it's McDonald's. Not food.

I was at McColl's today, October 9, 2025, at 9:50 p.m. and picked up something to eat at home. I got home and wanted to eat my big tasty bacon chili cheese, but the problem was there was no meat on the burger. I packed it up again and drove to McColl's where I bought it, and they gave me a new one straight away. I looked at the burger and saw what it was. It was the regular big tasty bacon, not the one I wanted. The employee told the kitchen, and they said no, everything was fine, it was the right one, just the pepperoni was missing. I went home, bit into the burger and what was it? It was the regular one. I am so disappointed with the store and I won't recommend it anymore, it's terrible. First of all, I expect an apology from the store for treating me wrong.

I waited over 30 minutes for three burgers and two fries. The burgers were cold, too. This was despite the restaurant being lightly staffed and staffed enough. I've never had to wait so long for cold food. Cheeky!

The worst McDonald's I've ever tried. The fries were absolutely greasy; they obviously hadn't been drained properly. All I could taste while eating them was the grease. Also, the burger was almost cold—the patties seemed like they had just been reheated, not freshly prepared.

I placed an order today and was pleased with the quick delivery.

After a doctor's appointment with my seriously ill mother, we quickly went through the McDonald's Drive-In. We were asked to park in the waiting lane because our order would take a while. After 10 minutes, a very nice lady came and brought our food to our car. So far, so normal. I started to check the delivery for completeness when another McDonald's employee, with a cigarette in his mouth, told me I wasn't allowed to eat there and to move on. I told him I was going to drive on right away but wanted to check my order first. His response: "Get out of here." I told him I was still checking my food. He then said: "Get out of here, or I'll punch you in the face..." So, out of consideration for my mother, I drove off. Is this how McDonald's treats its customers these days? 1 star and no more visits to McDonald's Essen-Steele.

I was there recently. Every now and then I get a Big Mac with double fries, mayo, and a Coke.

The service here was flawless. Unfortunately, my burger wasn't hot enough.

Over 30 minutes of waiting time... The staff is overwhelmed and reacts irritably to every customer. The fries sit under the warmer for a long time, making them more sticky than usual...

I'd say the quality of the food is as good as any other McDonald's. The employees have always been very friendly and courteous. What really annoys me is that every time you order online for delivery, no matter which delivery service you use, the toy is always missing from your Happy Meal. It seems like a tactic to me! It's not exactly great to have a disappointed child when part of their order is missing.

It has become far too expensive.

I placed an order at the drive-thru and took it home. When I got there, my burger was missing. I had a fit of rage and wrote a complaint email for the first time. I received an immediate response, an apology, and compensation. We even discussed it again in the store when I redeemed the order. And that's service, insight, and compensation. I was thrilled because I hadn't expected it. So, looking back, all I can say is, communication is everything. Thank you, and see you next time.

We only order ice for kids who love the atmosphere

1. Eating at the restaurant: The wait times here are catastrophic, often exceeding 30 minutes. The parking lot is a complete disaster. The drive-thru line clogs the entire parking lot, so that once you arrive, you sometimes can't leave for 20 minutes. 2. Delivery via Lieferando Ordered twice, once the order was completely wrong. After clarification via Lieferando, the money was refunded, but new or correct food still didn't arrive. The second time, two Happy Meals were missing (sorry, you have to see that). Several calls were unsuccessful, and after two hours (!!), someone was at the door. And, as expected, the burgers were wrong! Stay away from this McDonald's!

The food is very tasty but the staff are very strange and disrespectful

I waited almost 25 minutes for the food, the food was sticky and dirty, and just a few hours later, my stomach and my son's were rebelling. I'd say it was due to the severe lack of hygiene. Sad.

I'm appalled. Everyone in the kitchen wasn't wearing gloves. A young man with long hair was at the front. He kept pushing his quiff out of his face with his half-length hair and then touching the fries with his fingers. Absolutely unacceptable. Hygiene is zero.

And I was really looking forward to it! I placed my order online so it would be quick – you know how it is: some fries, a burger or two, a cold drink, and then off home to enjoy. Unfortunately, my meal ended up being more of a culinary mystery. Let's start with the most innocuous: The fries were... let's say, raw, with potential. Almost as if they had only briefly seen the fryer and then decided to stay crispy. But okay, that would have been bearable – if there hadn't been a hair hidden in them, which obviously doesn't belong in the product description. Then I count the burgers – one is missing. Maybe it was shy? Or got lost on the way to the bag? I don't know, but my stomach definitely missed it. The Coke – without carbonation. It really was more "la" than "cola." No fizz, no sparkle, just a sad, sweet something. And last but not least: After only a 10-minute drive home, the entire meal was already cold – and not in the "fresh salad" sense, but more like "stolen from the fridge." I didn't realize I'd ordered a picnic at the North Pole instead of fast food. I'm not just writing this to let off steam (although, to be honest, that's quite good), but because I believe you can do better – and actually do better. Maybe something slips through the cracks now and then, but so many things at once? That was almost a menu full of mishaps. I would be very happy if you would look into this – and, if possible, find some small compensation for my "adventure meal." Sincerely (but slightly disappointed) regards

Everything was fine, I went to the counter on the third day. It was quick, everyone was friendly, great!

I've driven through McDrive several times. Except for one employee, everyone was always very friendly. However, occasionally something was missing from my order. It seems the system is... a shame.

Yesterday at the checkout I noticed that the man with the braid (presumably the boss) was treating his employees so disrespectfully. As a customer I was totally shocked, and he wasn't particularly friendly to me either when I wanted to pay.

Hygiene isn't a priority here. Plus, they apparently already have to check the burgers. Since something's always missing, I always check the bag, but at home I noticed that there's no patty in the burger! How that could happen remains a mystery! Simply unbelievable.

Super nice and the service very fast

Steele Eats I was really disappointed with my last visit to McDonald's. The food was poorly prepared – the fries were soggy and cold, and the burger looked like it had just been thrown together. The wait time was surprisingly long despite the small number of customers, and the staff seemed annoyed and unmotivated. The restaurant's cleanliness also left a lot to be desired: napkins and food scraps were lying around everywhere, and the tables were dirty. For a well-known fast-food chain like McDonald's, this is simply unacceptable. I don't expect Michelin-starred cuisine, but at least fresh, hot food and a reasonably friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. I'll think twice about going there again in the future.

This branch is another disaster... Waited 25 minutes and asked when the food would arrive. They forgot about it, and they wanted to give me an apple turnover as an apology. Requesting a refund is completely unacceptable...with 6-7 people waiting in line, and you can resole everyone's shoes as they walk by... Not to mention the dirty tables, but unfortunately, the hygiene standards there are completely lacking, but unfortunately, that's always the case there.

We were just in the branch. This review is a thank you to the kind older employee who looked after my daughter when she got her hand caught in the door to the outside area. McDonald's is lucky to have such an employee. Courteous, friendly, and helpful. Employees like that are great, because they make you leave the restaurant at the Golden Arch with a golden smile!

Great store after the renovation!

Tasty and warm food, but recently I ordered only one ice cream, waited 40 minutes! They simply forgot about my order!!! But after a couple of attempts to tell the employees about my forgotten order, the employees finally responded appropriately! There was another case when they brought me someone else's order! But I returned this order and the employees also responded appropriately! The place is good and the food is tasty, but the inattentiveness of the employees is a little annoying, I understand that a large influx of customers and a shortage of employees is hard work, but as a customer I can't help but pay attention to this Overall, a good McDonald's, but there are a couple of nuances!

I placed a takeout order today for three McMenu's and Mac Flurry. They ended up placing the order without drinks (even though they were included) and without Mac Flurry. I didn't notice until I got home.

Good day, We picked up our order today and discovered at home that a burger was missing - namely the Double Royal Cheese. We were very disappointed as we ordered for the whole family.

You can't rate the food because it didn't come... After an hour there was still no food in sight. During that time the same song was played at least 3 times on the 70. You couldn't imagine anything better on a sunny day than spending your time in a gray McDonald's...

I just got the rancidest mcplant nuggets possible. Unfortunately it was only discovered after I got home. The nuggets were so hard you couldn't even chew them. They were simply warmed up to hide the fact that they were probably old. Horrible!

One star is still too many. I haven't been to MacDonald's for years and only went there at the request of my grandchild, mainly because of the toys that used to be free and now cost an extra 1 euro. It was the most disgusting experience I've had there in a long time. Such an unhygienic and dirty shop. The staff who was previously at the checkout without gloves also packs up the fries and touches them with their fingers. The floor in the whole place was totally dirty. Never again.

Since Lieferando probably blocks negative reviews, then so be it. We had it delivered today and wanted to eat MC Chicken and Mc Rib again after a long time. Rolls sticky, chicken there was only the taste of breading. Mc Rib is no longer what it used to be. You could look for a salad at Mc Chicken and a slice of cucumber at MC Rib. The highlight was the artificial and floury, strangely disgusting taste of White Choc raspberry. One bite and NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF. And something like that for so much money - shame on you, you can't offer that to anyone!

The food is just like always at McDonald's...but I haven't seen such a dirty place in a long time. Once...it was on the way...and never again👎👎👎

Among other things, I ordered a Big Mac without cheese. At home I noticed that another Big Mac had the cheese simply removed. The edges of the cheese were still there. I find this outrageous, because in other branches you can get one freshly prepared. Expensively paid, but no service.

At this McDonald you wait forever for your food, despite there being a lot of staff. It's no better to pay at the checkout. Then I've experienced a better-coordinated team at other McDonald's.

I can only recommend this place. The coffee and food were delicious. Friendly staff. Relaxed location. Enough parking spaces, but it seems a bit tight, otherwise everything is perfect. In summer my Deaussen has seats with cushions. Really great!

I waited over 2 hours for my food and then everything wasn't even complete

The order number board is off and the employees call the number quietly and with a strong accent. Cell phone connection is poor but there is no WiFi. Entering codes in combination with the app is more complicated than it needs to be, so I preferred to cancel the order. All you hear from employees is “geyallah”. You have to wait a catastrophically long time for an ice cream and a donut. Hand dryer in women's toilet is just decoration. Positively, the fire and police departments are next door. If necessary you can also go to the gas station, there is certainly WiFi there. Update 1/1/2025 Ordered online and waited longer than if I had ordered in person. It also smells strongly of grass at the entrance. Update February 24, 2025 Got something different than what I ordered. Can't open a PayPal case. 😑

Ate there several times and therefore unfortunately not a single situation - Drive-in and indoor orders often take a long time - regardless of whether there are 2 people or 10 in front of you and regardless of the size of the order - then things are usually hot but not put together properly, so they're really heartless - Friendliness is ok but can be improved and even at the drive-in you usually can't understand the employees perfectly - sometimes the volume was too low or maybe the person was too far away from the microphone!?!?

Fresh baked goods and fresh salad. Not so common with mCDs
