The last three times I've been there have been very, very bad experiences. There's no customer service or attention to detail when ordering. In my opinion, there are always problems and shortcomings. Last time, I ordered a family meal for about €40, but only received a small portion of fries. I've called them numerous times, but no one has answered. Overall, I can't recommend this place at all.

The new fries are Allahu Akbar GT PRO MAX PLUS 5G. Merry Christmas, cousins.

We ordered at the drive-thru on September 5, 2025, at 2:45 PM. The man with glasses (most likely German), I'm guessing he was in his late 20s, was extremely unpleasant and unfriendly. He wouldn't let me finish, didn't say "please" or "goodbye," and spoke in a really rude manner. I'll never go there again, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else ordering from him.

I always liked it there until last time. The man at the drive-thru charged me €90 too much and told me it would be credited to my account within 3-4 days, but after 7 days, nothing has happened. That's really annoying; I'll never order anything from there again.

I enjoy being here. I'm happy to recommend it to others 👍👍👍

The burgers shown in the picture unfortunately bore no resemblance to the images used in the advertisement. There was more air on the burger than chicken... The fries were completely soft, and unfortunately, all the meat products (burgers, chicken thighs, etc.) were rather bland, as if no seasoning had been used... Furthermore, one burger was forgotten in our order. Definitely not recommended.

Everything was fine. One employee forgot to give me ketchup, so I asked another employee. She was short and had black hair. She gave me ketchup quickly. Her demeanor was good. She was much faster. The service from the entire team was great.

Great look, very quick processing and service, delicious, everything as it should be.

Unfortunately, the name here still seems too much like a program – plant-based or even vegan alternatives are almost impossible to find. What's offered is usually not truly vegan, but merely "plant-based" – including cheese, sauces, or preparation in the same fat as the meat. Transparency is lacking, as is any serious vegan offering. It's a shame, this could have been improved long ago.

The service is very poor. Most of the employees seem inexperienced and are still learning. Because the pay is probably low, there are always new employees who don't really know the process. As a result, we had to wait a very long time after ordering. The quality of the food was also disappointing – the chicken was very tough and barely edible. The food at this KFC is good. However, I wasn't impressed with the taste of the Korean chicken.

I've loved KFC for as long as I can remember. This branch delivers what you'd expect from KFC. Everything was clean, and the burgers were delicious as always.

It always had a bad reputation in my head, but I was convinced otherwise. It can easily compete with other chains, and since we had a super deal meal (1 burger, small fries, 1 drink, and 2 pieces of breaded chicken), I also found it quite affordable (5.99).

The biggest crap shop there is. Mayo, which is free at the burger competitor with the capital B, for example, you even have to pay extra here. Besides, the Coke tasted like water, the freshly made fries made you feel like you were sucking on an old cardboard box, and the burger that was pictured with a pickle didn't even have one. All in all, way too overpriced for the taste-ruining mini-portion you get. You'd be much better off at any other shop.

Well, it's a bit confusing when your number is shown on the display under being prepared... the number is then called out... and while you're halfway through eating it then switches to pickup... and it stays there for what feels like an eternity... then turn off the monitor... if no one can use it properly anymore....

1 star is still too much, but unfortunately that's not possible. The service in the store is subpar. We were in the drive-thru and had a few questions about the order. The answers were sloppy or we weren't even answered. Instead, we were informed that there is a time limit that customers should adhere to at the drive-thru. These are KFC internal rules that I as a customer am not supposed to know or have to follow. In addition, we had to wait over 10 minutes for our food and the food was wrong. Just plain pathetic! How can a branch like this have such staff? They can neither calculate nor choose the right range. Was there today and something was missing again!! I like kfc a lot. The food tasted amazing and the variety of products with chicken is good, in my opinion. I disliked the long waiting time, and the restaurant wasn't filled with customers. I went there more than one time, and it was always the same. Still, I don't get why.

Knowledge was ok. However, I can't find much sauce in the 18 gram packets for 4 large crispies? Ridiculous. Coleslaw as always. But the puree seems to have a different recipe. Toilets clean. Staff friendly but sometimes not so attentive. It was great that you could refill the drinks for free. Then the food slides better with too little sauce. Crispy chili burger was also very dry, more cheese sauce please.

KFC is always a little fatter than the other fast food joints. It was okay, just something to eat quickly. We got it fresh, but it was pretty greasy. The tables were clean, but the staff were a bit overwhelmed and quite stressed.

Never again to this KFC. Nugget were cold and had already been warmed up. If you complained on site you were treated soggy and the fries were soggy, no salt and lukewarm. Delicious fast food! Personally, the atmosphere doesn't invite me to linger. Could it be furnished in a newer, more harmonious way? I'm not thrilled that you can't just order a bucket...only with sides! But I don't want any supplements :( Only meat and sauces. Since I work in Essen, I'm ordering something from Drive in this kfc today, November 21st, 2024 at 8:30 p.m. The salesman at drive to go was truly disgusting, inside and out. He has such slight micro aggression and he also looks so disgusting. Unfortunately, after placing my order, I had to throw away my food.

The food was very tasty but there was a lot missing. In the first part of the order we had a crispy chilli cheese and large fries with ketchup and 2 crispys and in the second part of the order 4 hot wings 2 original bites and 2 crispys and 2 large ones Fries with mayo and extra curry sauce and all sauces were not included and 1 hot wing was missing and the fries were only small so the taste of the food is a recommendation but the attention from the staff is lacking definitely check your order!!!

Unfortunately, the taste of the products has changed a lot: the breading on the chicken pieces was quite tasteless, there are only soft drinks Zero, the fries were cold and the chicken pieces are getting smaller and smaller. Employees can't count and, strangely enough, always pack too little into the buckets etc. You count for 6 crispys but only get 4-5 every time. Sometimes the breading isn't even cooked through properly and is anything but crispy. Sometimes entire products are forgotten.

Food is good. It tastes fresh and high quality. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant is easily accessible and has a large parking lot. It is centrally located. The outdoor area is sufficiently large, but is located on a busy street.

We love the hot wings. Today we ordered 24 pieces and took them home. Unfortunately, 19 of the 24 pieces were small "end pieces of the wings" that don't really have much meat on them. We're pretty disappointed. It was clearly not enough “goods” for the money.

Employees use a cloth to wipe down: chairs, tables, ordering tablets, the garbage can and pretty much every surface without changing or cleaning the cloth in between. Disgusting when you think about it.

The drinks just turned out horrible...

Over the last four years or so, KFC has declined. The quality of the poultry, whether chicken pieces or hot wings, both have a very high fat content, which was not always the case. The frying fat/oil also seems to be different, which has a negative effect on the taste. The staff is friendly, but rarely able to fully pack a take-away order; usually something is missing (which can happen sometimes, but shouldn't happen regularly). The friendly staff at KFC are also able to collect the full amount for an order. If you pay + - 100.00 €uro for four people at KFC, then you should get what you pay for. I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER of KFC on Bottroper Str. for 15 years, where something is usually missing from the order and an improvement in this regard is apparently not in KFC's interest. You also don't have to admit to the declining quality (my feeling) of the last four years. KFC has lost me as a long-time customer.
