Widerlich, da überhaupt noch Geld zu verlangen! Essen im Müll gelandet!

Die Sitzgelegenheit im oberen Bereich sind eine Ruheoase in den Wirren des Hauptbahnhofs. Da endet leider schon das Positive zu diesem McDonalds. Der Service ist sehr langsam. Man wartet mitunter 10 bis 15 Minuten oder länger auf sein Essen, auch wenn man nur Kleinigkeiten bestellt hat. Dann heißt das aber noch lange nicht, dass die Bestellung auch korrekt ist. Wenn sie falsch ist, sollte man besser damit leben und schnell gehen. Eine Korrektur dauert ewig und das Personal versteht zum Teil kein Deutsch, oder ist mit anderen Dingen beschäftigt, wenn es mit einem redet und hört demnach nicht richtig zu. Daher, besser meiden oder sehr viel Zeit mitbringen.

Burger ohne Fleischpatty. Really ?

Heute bei Essen HBF bestellten wir fünf McDonald's-Eisbecher. Wir bekamen aber nur Eis am Boden des Bechers und zu wenig Soße. Wir fragten nach, was das solle, aber sie ignorierten uns einfach. Dabei kostet ein 2-Euro-Eisbecher doch nur für ein einjähriges Baby! Wir sind sehr enttäuscht, weil wir McDonald's-Eisbecher lieben. Wir wurden schon oft enttäuscht, aber heute war es wirklich nicht akzeptabel.

Absolut furchtbar. Ich hatte eine extrem schlechte Erfahrung mit dem Sri-Lanker am Empfang. Sein Verhalten war unmöglich. Er hätte den Gästen wenigstens etwas Respekt entgegenbringen sollen. Das Essen war gut, aber der Service war unglaublich ärgerlich. Ich bin Stammgast und habe keine andere Wahl, deshalb gehe ich regelmäßig ins Gurley. Ein bisschen Respekt wäre doch angebracht. Die anderen Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und lächeln sogar. Nur ein Mann mit zurückgebundenen Haaren – so ein Verhalten gefällt mir gar nicht.

In dem Lokal gibt es keine Toilette und keinerlei Desinfektionsmittel für die Handhygiene. Es entsteht der Eindruck, dass sich das Lokal überhaupt nicht um seine Gäste kümmert, obwohl die Preise alles andere als günstig sind. Ich habe den McVeggie bestellt und war sehr enttäuscht — geschmacklich wirklich schlecht, 1 von 10 Punkten. Die Lage ist zwar gut, aber die Atmosphäre ist unangenehm, das Essen schmeckt nicht und wurde furchtbar zubereitet. Ich kann dieses Lokal nicht empfehlen. In the establishment there is no toilet and no hand sanitizing products available. It feels like the place does not care about its visitors at all, even though the prices are not cheap. I ordered the McVeggie and was very disappointed it tasted bad, 1 out of 10. The location is good, but the atmosphere is unpleasant, the food is not tasty, and it was prepared terribly. I do not recommend this place.

Ich habe mich mit meinen Freunden heute dazu entschieden unser Mittagessen bei diesem Standort des Schnellrestaurants Mc' Donalds zu erwerben. Trotz des regen Betriebes zur Hauptverkehrszeit wurde unser Essen sehr schnell zuberreitet (4min, 35 sek). Obwohl wir bei unserer Bestellung die Option "zum Mitnehmen" ausgewählt haben, erhielten wir unsere Bestellung zum Verzehr vor Ort. Als wir diesen Fehler beim Personal angemerkt haben reagierte dieses sehr Freundlich und berreitete unsere Bestellung auf die Konfiguration "zum Mitnehmen" vor. So konnten wir nach nur 6 Minuten das Etablismon wieder verlassen. Leider war unsere Bestellung nicht ganz komplett. Statt Einwegbecher erhielten wir Mehrwegbecher, außerdem fehlte bei der Bestellung ein "Hanuta Mc' Flurry" Dies hat mich sehr traurig gemacht :(. Allerdings muss man anmerken, dass bei so einem hohem Kundenaufkommen solche Fehler passieren können. Fazit: Trotz der Fehlerhaften zusammenstellung unseres Menüs war ich von dem Besuch sehr begeistert. Falls ich mich erneut in der Nähe des Essen'er Hauptbahnhofes befinde werde ich auf jedenfall einen erneuten besuch dieses Stantortes in erwägung ziehen.

Schlechtes Essen, nicht McDonald's-Qualität. Die schlechte Laune aller Angestellten im Restaurant ist auch auf der anderen Seite des Schreibtisches deutlich spürbar.

An sich für ein Hauptbahnhof ganz angemessen, esse ist nicht schlecht aber auch nicht das beste. Je doch wollte ich mir letzten um 6:50 etwas zu trinken hollen und wurde unhöflich weg geschickt da erst um 7 uhr geöffnet wird. Erstens steht über all im Internet und an der Filiale selbst das diese 24 Stunden geöffnet ist. Zweites könnte man dann wenigstens die Tür schließen wenn man nkcht geöffnet hat und dann etwas höflicher die Leute raus schicken.

Chaotisch aber tut was es soll.

Lag anschließend im Krankenhaus aufgrund heftiger bauchkrämpfe, Dünni des grauens und Kotzerei.

Der Service war äußerst schlecht; ich wurde unfreundlich behandelt. Das hat mich sehr geärgert, und ich hoffe, dass sich diese Situation ändert.

Gestern Mittag kamm es zu einer Schlägerei, zwischen ein Mitarbeiter und einem Gast.. Ich fand es echt gut wie die Mitarbeiter zusammen gehalten haben vor allem die junge mcdonald's Mitarbeiterin die dazwischen ging echt mutig

Das Personal war wirklich freundlich und aufmerksam, das hat mir gut gefallen. Leider war die Qualität des Essens wie so oft eher enttäuschend – nichts Besonderes.

Nicht zu empfehlen, White mocha schmeckt nicht Eis sehr wenig wie auf die Bild zu sehen

Der MC Donalds am HBF ist katastrophal. Essen war nicht richtig durchgebraten. Mitarbeiter überfordert und erfüllen nicht die McDonald Standards. Sehr enttäuschend kann ich nicht empfehlen.

Die Qualität ist leider sehr unterschiedlich , letzte Tage hatte ich den Waffle Chicken. Das angebliche Hähnchenfilet war zum Teil sehnig -darf nicht passieren. Ein untersetzter Mann mit grauem Haar war an der Kasse, er schaut immer mürrisch. Vielleicht hat er aber auch nur Pech mit seinem Team.

Positiv: -Sehr sauberer Laden -Esse hoffentlich nie wieder bei MC Donalds 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Die Angestellten sind unhöflich und respektlos. Nachdem eine Colaflasche in der Nähe der Kasse umgefallen und ausgelaufen war (weil sie nur den Deckel draufgesetzt, aber nicht richtig geschlossen hatten), meinten sie, ich solle mir eine neue kaufen, wenn ich wolle.

Es ist alles normal, aber die indischen Angestellten hier sind wirklich unhöflich. Ich bin selbst Inder, aber sie behandeln alle Kunden unhöflich. Ich war Stammkunde und der Service war immer in Ordnung. Doch eines Morgens am 3. März standen drei indische Angestellte draußen. Ich habe nichts gegen Menschen, wollte es aber erwähnen, damit andere sich daran erinnern. Erwarten Sie von ihnen weder freundliches Verhalten noch guten Service. Alle anderen Angestellten sind selbst im größten Andrang sehr freundlich, nur diese eine Person ist nicht einmal zu zwei oder drei Kunden freundlich.

Jedes mal das gleiche in dem Schuppen…. Unfreundlich und vergessen ständig das richtige einzupacken….

Schlimm, wir waren mir Kinder da und haben nur Happy Meals zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Überraschung Zuhause, kein Spielzeug eingepackt.. nicht einfach das falsche... So gar keines... Riesiges Drama bei den Kindern.. danke MC Donalds, ihr habt euch erfolgreich einen Kunden damit eingespart. Nochmal tue ich mir mit den Kindern sowas nicht an. Gern geschehen

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr unfreundlich da war eine blonde, der hat mir keine Euro in meinem Mcflori getan und der war sehr gemeint

Es war sehr viel Betrieb (01.05./Feiertag) und ich musste lange auf meine Bestellung warten. Aber das war kein Problem. Das Personal war trotz großem Stress sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank dafür, ihr habt schon einen harten Job. Update 06.02.2026: Vorsicht, im oberen Bereich des Restaurants wird man oft von Bettlern ganz agressiv bedrängt. Leitztens hat sogar einer mit einem Tablett geworfen, weil er kein Geld bekam. Das Personal lässt sich beleidigen, schreitet aber nicht ein. Frauen sollten nur in Begleitung hier hin gehen.

Ich bin einmal zu McDonald's gekommen. Und es gibt nie relevante Spielzeuge aus den neuen Kollektionen auf Lager. sehr enttäuschend. Wenn Sie nur wegen der Spielzeuge zum Mohn gingen, empfehle ich dieses vor allem nicht.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, sauberes und gepflegtes Restaurant, allerdings werden morgens keine Pommes angeboten und der zur Verfügung stehende Sitzplatz ist dann sehr eingeschränkt.

Also was dieser Mecces leistet ist echt hammer hart. Bam Bam Bam eine Bestellung nach der anderen un Rekordgeschwindigkeit. Man merkt das Team arbeitet wie ein Schweizer Uhrwerk zusammen. Trotz sehr hohem Andrang wurden heute gegen 01:30 ratz Daten der Reihe nach rausgegeben. Hut ab da können sich einige Filialen eine Scheibe von abschneiden ! So funktioniert FastFood

Ich war am 21. Januar um 23:25 Uhr im McDonald’s am Essen Hauptbahnhof. Ich habe einen Cappuccino (mittelgroß) und eine Apfeltasche bestellt. Der Cappuccino bestand leider nur aus heißer Milch – es gab überhaupt keinen Milchschaum. Die Apfeltasche war ebenfalls nicht richtig durchgebacken, der Teig war innen noch roh. Für den Preis ist das sehr enttäuschend und eine große Enttäuschung, zumal ich beides wegwerfen musste. Dieser Laden verdient nicht einmal einen Stern

Pommes kalt, Burger schlampig zusammengeschmissen – und als ich mich über die lange Wartezeit (mehr als 10 Minuten) in dem leeren Restaurant beschwere, werde ich vom Restaurantleiter (?) angepöbelt, geduzt und aufgefordert, das McDonald’s-Restaurant zu verlassen. Unglaublich.

Kam mir vor wie in der Bahnhofsmission. Alle Obdachlosen suchen hier Platz und bebetteln dich beim Essen oder greifen sogar ungefragt hinein.Geschweige denn des Zusammengeklatschten Burgers.

Gestern hab ich da vor Ort einen Mango-Curry-Chikenroll bestellt. Obwohl meine Bestellung relativ schnell erfüllt wurde, schmeckte es trocken, denn da war doch KEINE Mango-Curry-Soße drin. Hat mich enttäuscht. Die Nuggets an sich im Roll waren ok, bischen bitterer Eisbergsalat.

The burger had literally fallen apart in the packaging and was very sloppily reassembled. We ordered a Big Tasty Bacon, but there was no bacon at all. I could have understood if they had been very busy and the staff couldn't keep up, but the restaurant wasn't even full. Friendliness and a bit of helpfulness should be a given—especially at a main train station.

The takeaway food and drinks were okay, but that wasn't until we noticed that two of the 12 items in the bag were missing. Unfortunately, we were already on the train by then.

So... what was going on? I went to get ice cream with my girlfriend – I got my ice cream, everything was fine, I ate it leisurely, slurped every last drop out of the cup... and only then did she get her ice cream! I swear, my ice cream had completely melted, evaporated, and probably turned back into clouds before she even had her McFlurry's! Service speed: 🐌 with jet lag. Ice cream experience: for me, short and sweet, for her, more like waiting for Dinosaur to return. Conclusion: one star – because the ice cream was delicious, but if you go there next to each other, you should be able to eat it next to each other.

I arrived from Essen today, and I was very stressed. The doctor was really good, and the staff was friendly. I recommend this doctor.

Tonight, after the event at the arena, we ordered food at the restaurant. It took forever, but that wasn't a problem given the volume of orders. Today I bought my child a Happy Meal at McDonald's. When we got home and my child wanted to eat the cheeseburger, he discovered a long, light hair in it. That's a rare occurrence. Unfortunately, I encountered an incompetent waitress who gave my order to another customer in front of me without checking the order number. She then got rude and blamed me for not being quick enough! She then took so long preparing a replacement cappuccino that I was in danger of missing my train. So I left the restaurant and headed for the train without a drink and having accomplished nothing. 5 euros and a lot of wasted energy for nothing. Simply unfriendly and incompetent. Luckily, there are plenty of other options at Essen Central Station for a delicious hot drink.

I've never experienced worse service in my life than here. The staff are always unfriendly, they always make mistakes when serving food, and their treatment is always very poor.

I went to McDonald's today and ordered a Matcha Oat Regular. Unfortunately, the drink was very sweet and obviously sugary—even though I assumed it didn't contain any sugar. I politely asked the employee about it, but she responded rudely, claiming there was no sugar and that she made it herself. This was disappointing, as I was honestly asking. Fortunately, another employee came over and responded very kindly and professionally. She explained to me that matcha naturally contains sugar, apologized, and immediately offered me an alternative—a cappuccino—which she made fresh for me. Many thanks to this second employee for her excellent customer service! I wish all employees would treat customers with this kind of friendliness and openness. Unfortunately, the first reaction was not appropriate.

What a weird parking situation that is! You order at home, drive there to pick it up, and... can't find a parking space. There are no parking spaces for pickups. I had to drive all the way around the city twice, only to end up back where I was. There was no way forward or backward, neither in front of McDonald's nor at the other end of the station. Of course, I was late, and of course, everything was cold. And of course (how could it be otherwise when picking up food is already a torture), they hadn't even made a new plate of fries - and the Coke would have been forgotten if I hadn't asked twice. Extremely disappointing. And the fact that there's no restroom on-site is a bad joke. They're probably trying to curb through traffic, entirely at the expense of paying customers. There's a clientele hanging around upstairs... you can't imagine this.

Unfortunately, it was a disappointing visit. There are no customer restrooms—a real no-go for a fast-food restaurant. Especially when you're eating there and spending some time there, a restroom should be a given. This seriously detracts from the overall impression. The food was as usual, but the lack of a service area is a major drawback.

I find a 15-minute wait for an order borderline. The beggars around the checkout area are simply tolerated and ignored by the staff – an unpleasant waiting experience for customers like me. I would like to complain about an incident that occurred on June 24, 2025, at your branch in Essen Central Station. An employee at your branch behaved extremely rudely and disrespectfully towards me. I was shouted at for no reason and eventually even thrown out of the restaurant – without me doing anything. I have the impression that this behavior was directed at me solely because I wear a headscarf. I consider this a clear form of discrimination. The employee in question was tall, had darker skin, and white hair. I find it very regrettable that such behavior occurs at a company like McDonald's, which publicly advocates for diversity and respect. I was in the mood for a quick bite and only ordered a cheeseburger. When I went to pay at the cashier, I overheard two employees making fun of me for only ordering a cheeseburger. I went back the same day to order a meal. When I stood at the cashier to pay, I was told they would come right over. I ordered my Chicken Big Mac without cheese, but it still had cheese on it. I also ordered and paid for a chicken box, but only got six nuggets and curry fries. Everything was wrong from start to finish, and it took a long time to arrive. McDonald's is usually pretty good, but today it was a complete disaster.
