Burger King ist so lost. Kein Kunde im Laden. Mitarbeiter mit den paar Drive In Autos überfordert. Nirgendwo stehen vernünftig aktuelle Angebote, die Bildschirme zeigen nur bunte Animationen, die App versteht auch kein Mensch. Ich fahr zu Mecces

Wir waren bei diesem Burger King an der Gladbacher Straße und haben uns essen für Zuhause mitgenommen. Als wir Zuhause gerade essen wollten, waren die Nuggets ganz dunkelbraun und völlig vertrocknet. Die gehören auf den Müll und nichts fürs Essen geeignet. Leider kann ich keine Fotos hochladen, sonst würde nicht nur ich mich ekeln. Sowas hab ich noch nie gesehen... Wirklich unmöglich.... Die Mitarbeiter waren aber nett. Was leider das Essen, aber nicht wieder gut macht.

Habe gerade unteranderem vegetarische Nuggets bei Burger King in Altenessen an der 224 gekauft und als ich Zuhause ankam und die Tüte öffnete wunderte ich mich schon wie dunkel die Nuggets aussahen! Einmal reingebissen und sofort wieder ausgespuckt. Alte Nuggets die wahrscheinlich nochmals in die Friteuse zum aufwärmen gepackt wurden! Absolut nicht genießbar!! Einfach unverschämt so etwas zu verkaufen!

Habe um 21:40 Uhr bestellt, Essen kam um 23:20 Uhr an, Pommes waren kalt, nuggets waren pappig, und der burger ohne salat das einzige was geschmeckt hat was der salat den ich mir extra bestellt habe. Bin eigentlich nicht der Mensch der sich beschwert aber das ging gar nicht sorry

Die Mitarbeiter sind schnell nett und das Essen schmeckt wie ein echter burger nicht laprig trocken oder sonstiges alles frisch

War schon öfter hier und das Personal lässt sehr oft zu wünschen übrig, was Freundlichkeit und Kompetenz angeht. Heute haben sie den Vogel aber abgeschossen. Ich stand mehrere Minuten mit meinem Freund vor dem DriveIn. Irgendwann fuhren wir weiter nach vorn um am Fenster auf uns aufmerksam zu machen. Dort waren zwei Mitarbeiter in eine heftige Diskussion mit einer Kundin verwickelt. Auch nach dem wir mehrmals an die Scheibe klopften oder versuchten auf uns aufmerksam zu machen kamen sie nicht. Die Frau sah irgendwann zu uns herüber und befahl ihrem Mitarbeiter das Fenster zu schließen ohne mit uns zu sprechen. Auf unseren Blick hin, öffnete der Kollege das Fenster wieder und die Frau brüllte nur raus „kein Drive in heute für niemanden.“ joa. Eine halbe Stunde meines Lebens verschenkt. Drin konnte mal leider auch nichts bestellen, weil die damit beschäftigt waren einen Kassensturz zu machen. Das war echt unterirdisch.

Langsamstes und schlechtestes Burker King in ganz NRW. Der Service ist die reinste Vollkatastrophe.

Schreckliche Filiale. Die Wartezeit im Drive dauert Ewigkeiten - Das Personal ist sichtlich überfordert - Der Außenbereich ist verdreckt. Definitiv zu wenig Personal.

Ich habe gerade vor einer Stunde bestellt und der Lieferant kam herein. Und die Glocke wird nicht läuten, da ich weiß, dass ich auf meinem Balkon stehe. Als das Team mich kontaktierte, schickte ich meine Nummer und rief mich an und sagte, er habe die Glocke geklingelt, während er lag, sagte er: "Geh hinunter und nimm deine Bitte entgegen, beleidige mich mit Obszönitäten, lasse die Bitte für 10 Minuten an der Tür des Gebäudes stehen, dann nimm sie und kontaktiere das Support-Team und sie werden nichts anderes tun als Beleidigung durch den Personalvermittler".

Toilette wirklich unsauber, Chilie Cheese Pommes einfach ohne Jalapenos, und der Fuze Tea hat wässrig geschmeckt (Wahrscheinlich Sirup leer), auf Nachfrage meinte man zu mir, es ist zu viel los, soll gleich nochmal kommen?

Ich hab heute burger im Drive geholt und als ich das Zuhause essen wollte finde ich Schimmel auf dem Burger. Direkt weggeworfen

Schlechteste Essen, Service und Mitarbeiter. Ich habe 10 Minuten an der Kasse gewartet. Und die sagte mir das nur ein Mitarbeiter an der Drive steht. Und die haben kein Bestellautomat. Sehr dreckig drin. Wohin guckt die Stadt eigentlich?!? Essen ist sehr schlecht…

Die Online-Bestellung wurde nicht geliefert. Ich habe mehrmals versucht, telefonisch jemanden zu erreichen, aber es ist niemand ans Telefon gegangen. Danach bin ich selbst hingefahren und habe das Essen abgeholt. Der Manager sagte dann, dass sie keine Bestellung von Lieferando erhalten haben. Der Manager war zudem sehr arrogant und unfreundlich. Sehr schlechter Service. Nie wieder…

Wir haben über Lieferando essen bestellt . Die Bestellung wurde bestätigt aber nie zubereitet, weil der Mitarbeiter das System ausgeschaltet hatte. Wir haben das gesehen weil wir nach 2 Stunden dahin gefahren sind um unsere Bestellung abzuholen! Sogar der Manager war so unfreundlich wie und hat gelacht als wir gefragt haben wo die Bestellung bleibt!! Unverschämtheit und Dreistigkeit bekommt man hier definitiv sofort !!! Schade dass man mindest 1 Stern vergeben muss, dieser Laden hat nämlich gar keinen verdient!

Das Personal war nett aber es war sehr schmutzig. Als ich auf gehen wollte konnte ich die tür nicht abschließen

Einfach nur ekelhaft, Essen war unter aller Sau. Lieferung war unvollständig. Und ans Telefon geht auch keiner dran.

Wie schafft man es bei einem Menü die Pommes zu vergessen, aber die Mayo noch in die Tüte zu schmeißen? Lieferung über UberEats läuft zwar wenigstens schneller als über Lieferando, trotzdem kommt das Essen kalt an. Der Käse auf meinem Burger wurde vermutlich auch überhaupt nicht erhitzt. Schlimmster BK in Essen.

Heute war ich im Restaurant, und der Mann an der Kasse, der mich abgerechnet hat, ich sagte ihm, dass ich den Tisch sauber mache. Er brachte ein Tuch, das komplett nass war, ließ den ganzen Müll zurück, verschüttete das Wasser auf die Stühle und ließ den Tisch komplett nass. Und er war nicht höflich, er hat mich wirklich sehr schlecht behandelt. Der junge Mann war Araber, trug eine Brille, war klein und hat die Leute abkassiert.” Alles klar. Also, danach kam ein Marokkaner, glaube ich, und er hat dann den Tisch sauber gemacht. Er war wirklich hilfsbereit und hat das Ganze gut erledigt.

Der Laden ist wirklich heruntergekommen. Die Toilette war sehr dreckig. Spinnweben unten an den Türen mit Insekten, Waschbecken verschmiert und Spiegel dreckig. Die spiel Anlage draußen ist auch total in die Jahre gekommen.

Ich hab noch nie so ein Bürger King gesehen ich warte seit 2-3 Stunden auf meine Lieferung so ein Bürger King m3afan

Sehr schlechte Erfahrung! Ich habe eine Bestellung aufgegeben, die in der App als „geliefert“ markiert wurde, obwohl über lange Zeit nichts angekommen ist. Insgesamt habe ich mehrere Stunden gewartet. Zusätzlich habe ich über 7 Mal versucht anzurufen, jedoch geht niemand ans Telefon. So ein Service ist absolut inakzeptabel. Es kann nicht sein, dass Kunden weder ihr Essen bekommen noch jemanden erreichen können. Das war eine extrem enttäuschende Erfahrung. Ich erwarte, dass der Service dringend verbessert wird.

Habe über Lieferando bestellt. Essen kam über 1std zu spät,war kalt, pappig und ungeniessbar. Über 30€ für die Mülltonne. Reinste Abzocke

Unverschämte Wartezeit! Vor Fast 3 Stunden bestellt und noch immer nichts erhalten. Ans Telefon geht keiner ran und Lieferando meint das kommt bestimmt noch… ja wahrscheinlich eiskalt. ABSOLUT KEINE EMPFEHLUNG! Wenn ihr hungrig seid müsst ihr vor 12 Stunden vorher bestellen damit was ankommt… ist nicht das 1. mal das dieser laden sowas abzieht. Naja hoffen wir mal das wir unser Geld zurück bekommen. Ps. BIETET KEINE BESTELLUNGEN AN WENN IHR DIE NICHT LIEFERN KÖNNT???!!!

10 Minuten wartet man am Tresen um eine Bestellung aufzugeben und kein Angestellter in Sichtweite. In anderen Restaurant dieser Kette wäre ich nach 10 Minuten schon vollumfassend bedient worden.

Sie weigerten sich, veganes Hähnchen oder einen veganen Whopper anzubieten, weil sie sich die Zubereitung nicht antun wollten. Ich war verärgert, als ich bar bezahlen wollte und die Küchenangestellten nach Wechselgeld fragen musste. Ein sehr seltsamer Laden. Er wirkt, gemessen an seiner Größe, extrem leer.

Warten seit über 90min auf unsere Bestellung und Fahrtweg sind laut Google 6min. Per Telefon keiner erreichbar bzw. wird direkt aufgelegt. NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN

Essen bestellen per Lieferando: 19.10 Essen bestellt und Email der Bestellbestätigung erhalten 21.00 Essen immernoch nicht da 21.02 jemanden ans Telefon bekommen und mitgeteilt bekommen das es immernoch 30min dauern würde. Echtes Abenteuer, müsst ihr selbst wissen

Drive bewerte ich superfreundlich war der Kerl es hat zwar etwas Länge gedauert aber der Burger 🍔 war super 👍 lecker und Ultra Frisch - absolut 💯 empfehlenswert

Typisches Burger King Restaurant. Das Essen ist wie gewohnt schnell und standardisiert. Der Service war okay, aber der Sitzbereich könnte sauberer sein. Ideal für einen schnellen Snack, aber nichts Besonderes.

Lange warte Zeit,essen war kalt

Habe über die BurgerKing App/Lieferando bestellt. Lieferzeit knapp über eine Stunde. Zum wiederholten Male die Bestellung nicht komplett, Ein Burger zwei Pommes und die extra Portion Dip fehlten, und lauwarm bis kalt erhalten. Telefonisch nur sporadisch erreichbar, jedoch wenn mal einer dran geht wird geholfen. Beim nächsten Mal fahre ich lieber selbst Dort hin. Dann ist wenigstens alles warm oder heiß und alles ist drin was man bestellt.

Die schlechteste Fastfood Filiale, wo ich je gegessen/ bestellt habe. Nach über einer Stunde Kälte und harte Pommes und kalte Burger (6min Entfernung nur) nach 7 Anrufen geht eine Dame dran, genervt und mit gebrochenem deutsch. Es sollte neu gebracht werden, nach einer weiteren Stunde ist bis jetzt immer noch nix da und es geht keiner an Telefon dran fühle mich abgezockt und betrogen.

Leider habe ich heute wieder eine negative Erfahrungen gemacht. Die letzten ca. 20 Bestellungen passten. Heute habe ich mal wieder einen falschen Burger und meine chili chees Nuggets garnicht mitbekommen. Ja, ich weiß. Selber schuld, ich hätte kontrollieren müssen. Vertrauen ist halt nur ne Moment Geschichte.....

Ich wollte nur kurz was zu essen bestellen im Drive In, ich hatte 3 Autos vor mir dachte wird ja schnell gehen. Naja Stande dann fast eine ganze Stunde dort mit bestellen und essen zu erhalten. Also Wartezeit für 3 Autos und im laden war auch nichts los. Wenn zu wenig Personal dann bitte mehr Leute einstellen ? Mitarbeiter tun mir leid viel zu tun und keiner da der aushilft

Even after several minutes, the staff doesn't deem it necessary to serve the customer. A woman types something into the till from a receipt and ignores the customer, directing them to the next till where no one is. In the background, there are more people in the kitchen than there are guests in the restaurant – but no one is serving at the counter.

If I were to visit a chain restaurant, I would usually lower my expectations drastically. Even after the shocking "RTL documentary," I still mustered the courage to continue visiting Burger King. I don't expect Michelin-starred cuisine, a gleaming tabletop, or friendly service. Despite this, even these minimal expectations were undercut. Cleanliness was nonexistent. What was particularly infuriating was the realization that our burgers had apparently been sitting in the display case for hours. They were not only cold but also partially rock hard. Even the cheese had changed color around the edges. A quality control check by the franchisor is long overdue!

The location is good with a nice terrace, but the staff are simply unfriendly. Furthermore, the place is dirty and the food is kept warm for a long time before being served.

Unfortunately, it was very dirty. There was hardly anyone there, yet the trash hadn't been taken away. Many tables hadn't been wiped down and were dirty. The floor was sticky. I won't be coming here again.

I think it's the worst branch in Essen and the surrounding area. The place was relatively empty, so there were plenty of free tables. However, it was still very difficult to find a seat because all the tables were greasy and dirty. Ordering was also difficult, as the employee spoke very broken German and no English at all. The food was cold, and the nuggets tasted like cardboard. Almost €33 for two people was a complete waste of money. Before I wanted to leave, I went to the restroom. I even held it in. I have no idea how the place stays in business; it's a complete pigsty! When I got home, the "good" food kept running through my mind! I'm going back soon to take photos and send them to the authorities. It's unacceptable!

Food was taken incorrectly despite multiple reminders, but there seems to be a language barrier. The toilets are in a terrible state; the door is half-broken in its hinges.

It took a very long time. There were too few staff members, and those who were there were extremely unmotivated. They didn't even understand our order properly; for example, it wasn't packed for takeout. Furthermore, there was no toy for the kids' meal, which wasn't mentioned anywhere in the store and wasn't clearly communicated by the staff. There was no compensation, discount, or even an apology for the missing toy. For a child, a toy like that is a pretty crucial factor. The restrooms are dirty, not all of them have toilet paper, and there's no soap. Absolutely unacceptable! Deplorable. Burger King, yes, but definitely not this branch!!

Speechless. The staff is a disaster. We ordered food for three people, and one person was still waiting 20 minutes after the others had received theirs. By the time you can even order, you could walk from here to Karnap and get your food faster. And then, when you finally get the food, it's as cold as if it were straight from the fridge. On a Saturday evening, the store was packed, only one checkout was open. Everyone was overwhelmed. Long waits, employees in civilian clothes, dirty toilets.

Dirty men's restroom with doors that haven't locked for months and a hand dryer that's very difficult to start, then stops working after a few seconds and won't restart. Around 4:15 p.m., an employee prepares and prepares food in the back and takes orders and cashes in the front – at a moderate pace, of course. So, absolutely no fast-food restaurant. Even retirees with plenty of time are more likely to starve. Now I'm annoyed that I didn't take any pictures.

I ordered through Uber Eats and instead of a vegetarian burger, I received a completely different one with meat. A refund won't help. Burger King doesn't pay attention to your order details, and the delivery driver doesn't check their orders. No one even answers the phone to clarify things in person! This is the last place I'll ever order or eat!

Very friendly and helpful in their advice. 🫣 Restrooms could have been a bit cleaner. However, I can only speak for the women's restroom, and, at least from what I could see, there were only male employees present. So it might not be so easy to check the women's restroom every now and then 😉

A classic Burger King with the standard menu. With a large parking lot and drive-thru. Conveniently located on a major highway. Next door is a gas station, a Media Markt, and a hardware store.

Everything is freshly prepared, the burgers and fries were delicious. The Coke tasted like water because it had so many ice cubes in it.

-Coke served without a straw. -Although we were asked for ketchup twice, we got ketchup once and mayo once. -Two small, wafer-thin napkins. -The fries were way too hot because they were drowned by the oil. -The employees are just smoking. -It's completely empty because they don't know how to keep customers happy. Don't go there. -Too expensive. You pay almost €25 for a Big King and Long Chicken meal!! A complete disaster, even though they're not stressed at all.

We've been disappointed by this store repeatedly in the past. Yesterday, after a break of several years, we decided to give it another chance. And what can I say? We were disappointed again. The burgers were lukewarm and tasted vaguely moldy. We couldn't see anything, but both had the same impression and taste. The chili nuggets weren't just double-fried, they looked like they were at least several hours old. The food was unfortunately inedible. Overall, the store gives off a shabby impression. We probably won't try it again. It's a shame! It seems as if the employees are selling substandard goods. Although the employees are certainly not the problem in this system.

On Friday, August 1, 2025, I thought to myself: "Come on, there's a traffic jam, I'll treat myself to a couple of burgers." A car in front of me was already at the checkout. I waited patiently for someone to answer the order point. After about 1-2 minutes, nothing. I called "Hello" into the microphone and then "Hello" again, but nothing. After another minute, a slightly louder "Hello." An annoyed voice answered: "We're busy in there too, just a moment." I simply drove up to see what was going on. The car in front of me didn't have its order complete. Bags were swapped around until, after a few minutes, everything was OK. The employee looked at me questioningly. All I can say is, "very poor performance, very poor." I also saw two customers standing in the store. So, what he told me earlier was simply a lie. So whoever's the owner here shouldn't be worried about sales. Because they're simply not making any. I haven't encountered such seriousness and indifference in a long time. Perhaps they could pass it on to the staff via a percentage of the sales revenue. But hey, the motivation at this place was almost ZERO.

Got wrong item ( cheaper) We ordered first time with Wolt app. The delivery was in time, fine. Paid with tips 25 euro. But when received our order saw that instead of Tortilla Beef for 8 Euro, we got simple Chilli Cheese Burger (((( We wish packing team was more carful. Not nice feeling, rest was ok.

We waited 30 minutes for our food at various locations on Gladbeckerstrasse... the chili cheese nuggets were from the day before, just thrown in the fryer again. No apology or compensation for the long wait, and the store was barely busy.

There is no ordering machine in the store!

Unfortunately, I can't rate the food or the ambiance, but I can rate the service. I used the drive-thru and had to wait about eight minutes, and then after ordering, nearly 20 minutes before anyone even came to order, let alone take the payment. Then there was also something wrong with the order, and when I placed the order, I didn't even get a hello, and when I left, I didn't even get a goodbye. Absolutely disgusting and not recommended unless you don't mind waiting a long time and being treated rudely.

Super friendly and hard-working employees! Unfortunately, the lack of ordering terminals makes it incredibly stressful, and you have to wait a long time before you can even order. Considering the place wasn't crowded and not busy, the tables were very dirty. A lot of things were still lying around. Even after 30 minutes, the tablet with trash was still on the table. Unfortunately, as expected, the restrooms weren't clean either.

We went to Burger King today (June 8, 2025)! It's not fast! The burgers were only lukewarm, and we had to wait forever.

Unfortunately, this is the last Burger King I'll ever go to in Essen. And also the last time ever! Reason? I ordered two burgers and fries to go, waited a full 25 minutes for them even though the place was practically empty. The waitress preferred chatting with his "brother" to serving me. Then they served me the wrong burgers, and the fries arrived late, already cold, and were handed to me like that... When I wanted to return the burgers, he got cheeky and claimed I had ordered the wrong thing, not him doing the wrong thing. oO How bold is that? Apart from the bad German, to be cheeky too, that's not customer service, that's outrageous! Never again for me, and my community will also avoid the place! Too bad, Burger King, you used to be great, but it was a long time ago.

I left after 15 minutes without being able to order; at 5 p.m. there were two people in the store.

Delivery was a complete failure. I waited over an hour with no information or anything else. Phone availability was virtually nonexistent. I can't recommend it and will never use it again.

Even one star is too flattering for this restaurant. I ordered via delivery service and, in short, nothing was right. 1. I received a completely bad burger. The lettuce on the burger was anything but lettuce. It was completely shrunken, soggy, and barely had any color left (I suspect the lettuce had been sitting around for ages). Furthermore, the chicken patty on the burger was absolutely stringy and barely edible. 2. The delivery person didn't have a thermal box or something similar to keep the food warm, so the food was ice cold. Cold, dried-out fries and cold meat on the burger. This was my first and last time eating there. I've never had such a bad food order to date. I can only recommend ordering from another Burger King or McDonald's.

Unsympathetic workers, always food is not fresh and the delivery service is rubbish. I ordered a children's box meal for my son, waited for 2 hours and didn't receive it. First of all, I would like to mention that this shop doesn't even deserve one star. I ordered there at 8 p.m. and at 10 p.m. I was wondering where my food was and started calling. After 100 attempts in vain, no one answered, so I just gave up and went to sleep and suddenly the doorbell rang at 11:34 p.m. and they wanted to deliver my food. The food is delicious, it's just plain, everyone knows what it tastes like, but the delivery times are outrageous. I ordered food an hour and a half ago and it's still not there and nobody answers their phone.

Staff seem to have little interest in satisfying the customer, delays are blamed on the delivery service. Orders are unfinished or prepared completely incorrectly. The blame always lies with others. All in all, the store is pretty good, or what you would expect from a fast food chain, provided you go there yourself and check your order. You don't need to call, no one will answer anyway.

The store is absolute junk. The EC payment didn't work... The food was half-cold, the salad was soggy and moldy. The restrooms were dirty, and the rest of the store wasn't any better. I skipped the food and left. Never again. Burger King.
