A prime location in the heart of Essen

Ordering with the app and at the order terminal was a bit tricky and I had to do it three times, probably because I was just too stupid for it. But it worked. The food was ready quickly and looked appetizing too. Was very tasty! Older staff at the checkout are warm and nice, very commendable. The ambience was ok, but unfortunately the other customers were less so. Lots of loud, disrespectful, young customers. There was also a conspicuous guy who told everyone out loud about his financial problems and his drug past without being asked, not unfriendly, but do you want that as a guest? Well, it just has a big city feel. I wouldn't go here late at night...

Here is a possible review: --- It was ok, but a bit unusual: I didn't get a straw for my cola as they apparently only serve milkshakes with it. I think it's a shame because it makes drinking from the cup less pleasant. A small service detail that could certainly be improved. Maybe a cost-cutting measure, but there should be a straw in it. Otherwise everything was okay

The quality of the food on offer is very good. What stands out in my opinion about this McDonald's is the friendliness of the staff. I have rarely met such a friendly staff. It was fun to eat there.

Unbelievably disgusting!! I felt sick and couldn't eat. Over 10,- thrown out the window! I have never seen anything like this anywhere in Germany, like here on Kettwiger Str., near Marktkirche. And if you're thirsty and just want to drink water, you have to pay €4!!! pay! €4 for water from a plastic bottle, for which I pay 15 cents at a discount store. I'm currently in the process of addressing these grievances with a TV station to show people what it really looks like.

Super tasty. The food was fresh and hot, the drinks were quite carbonated and it was clean. There's nothing to complain about. A branch in Hamburg can take a leaf out of this.

I won't go there often anymore, it's become way too expensive. I can eat better there for the money.

Food was cold and soggy, table service signs were apparently not posted on purpose. The upper floor was completely filled with empty trays, even though there was very little activity. Every table and seat smeared with sauce. I pointed this out to the employee at the counter when I handed over my tray because there was no room anywhere else. ignored my criticism and was then insulted from the kitchen while the boss was present. The health department should clean up here

Every time I have an appointment in the city, I eat there. So far I haven't had anything to complain about there. On June 13th, 24 I ate a double cheeseburger there. It was really tasty. Unfortunately, I didn't immediately find the Happy Milkshake Vanilla in the terminal, because it's just called Milkshake. The staff has always been friendly so far.

The service was fine. The food was dry and cold unfortunately. Unfortunately, the plant nuggest didn't taste good at all. The floor of the upper floor was so sticky everywhere that it was uncomfortable to walk on. Pretty disgusting.

Really nice Mccess over 2 floors with very nice seating and a play area for children. The staff was also very nice and the food was just delicious :D

A good place! There is a platform for Children. And outdoor seating. Not very busy during the working day.

The service is terrible. We came with the children and heard a lot of negative things: we had to check the order and ask for a drink. They didn't put toys in the Happy Meal, didn't give napkins, and the tables were dirty. The staff seem to be waiting for customers to leave so they can go home quicker. There are set opening times when visitors come!!

The store doesn't work at all. First you get a McFlurry in a 0.25l drinking cup instead of the normal cup without comment, then you are immediately "chased out" from the upper floor. Downstairs, homeless people regularly run to the tray boxes and rummage around for leftover food, and guests are also begged. Finally, more than half an hour before closing time, the young employee asked me to get up if I didn't order anything else because she wanted to put the chairs on the tables. THIS is not how you treat paying customers! In any case, I won't be visiting the restaurant again in the future.

Nice MC Donald's branch located in the middle of the city of Essen. I got a Royal TS with double beef patti instead of the Big Mac I ordered, but it was super tasty 😋. Now I have a new favorite 🍔 burger.

I waited over 20 minutes for my order, then I gave up waiting.. on the weekend it's really overcrowded, the entrance area is not inviting at all.. I wouldn't go there again, I'd rather go to a nearby cafe like this Café Barcelona. It takes 10 minutes for the food to arrive, but it tastes very good..

Today I visited McDonald's and was impressed! The service was at the highest level, the team was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Everything was very tasty and I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the place. I recommend it to everyone!

We ordered a milkshake with our meal, which smelled and tasted absolutely rotten. After we pointed this out to the employees, we got a new one, but it smelled exactly like the first one and we had to throw both of them away. You should probably think about cleaning the machine.

I understand that advertising is not true. But this cheese dip is an absolute joke. A small dollop of cheese in the bowl and filled to the top when advertising. It was difficult just to squeeze the burger into this drop. When asked, they said that they didn't fill the bowl completely. But so little understanding is really a disgrace.

Unfriendly service, there was no milk shake because the staff was too lazy to make one. When speaking to the customer you should maintain eye contact. There is clearly a lack of staff training here. It's very dirty everywhere, the floor is sticky. Juice was spilled on the stairs and no one cleaned it up the whole time. People jumped 2-3 steps with food. We had to eat at a dirty table in the middle of a mountain of dirty packages. Some of your customers should write to the hygiene department. At the checkout, the cashier spoke so rudely that my child was shocked. I have never experienced anything like this in any McDonald's in any country. And that's how she talks to all the customers. Have pity on her and release her because she is clearly suffering. A shocking surprise from the first to the last second. You have to try really hard to annoy customers like that.

One of the few McDonald's branches that (unfortunately) cannot be recommended. You order at the terminal with special requests (no salad, for example) - what do you get? A burger with salad. A complaint is pointless - "I ordered that!" It's well known that things are a bit strange in the branch here, I canceled the salad because it was simply wilted. Instead of taking it off the burger you can leave it out. Same today, yellow to mushy lettuce? No thanks. In addition, you are “scrutinized” by the employees. First you order, then you wait. If you are the only customer waiting, you will be inspected closely; you will notice the stares from top to bottom, especially if they are anything but inconspicuous. But the question "What can it be" is unbeatable - mind you, I was the only customer in the restaurant waving the "card payment receipt" and the receipt. In the future it would be better to go to Limbecker Platz or the main train station, as it is more crowded there but you are spared the above mentioned!

Stop Macces. Disgusting fast food in a greasy shop. You could clean the floor/tables every now and then. Extremely unappetizing. In addition, unfriendly staff and a long wart time. You don't need it.

For €9.99 a McChicken, a 6-pack of nuggets, two ketchups, a large Fanta and a large fries is a relatively good deal. However, the fries were manageable and lukewarm! We were there for lunch today and had a cappuccino with oat milk. The cappuccino was inedible, I threw it away shortly afterwards and it's been a real stomach ache ever since!

Wenn man kein Deutsch kann, sollte man nicht als Kassierer arbeiten. Die Kollegin war leider auch nicht sehr freundlich, nachdem ich Sie aufgrund des verständnisses dazu gerufen hatte. Auch bei Kunden vor und nach mir dasselbe Problem.

Man kann hier obwohl nichts los ist manchmal 10 min oder länger auf seine Burger warten....und wenn es einen Milchshake nicht gibt wird ohne zu fragen eine andere Sorte gemacht...m

Wir haben vor Ort nach dem Aufzug gefragt da nur 4-5 Sitzplätze unten sind für Gäste und wenn die voll sind soll man nach oben gehen ist schlecht mit Kinderwagen also fragten wir nach den Aufzug darauf sagten die es ist nur für die Mitarbeiter . 2 min später fragten wieder Leute nach dem Aufzug eine andere Person die ließ die Leute hoch mit dem Aufzug eine Frechheit entweder nein für alle oder ja Service wenn es gehen würde 0 Sterne.

McDonald's halt... Ist das Absicht, dass der Boden so klebt?🙈 Das fand ich sehr unangenehm. Die Pommes waren auch nicht der Hit. Aber was tut man nicht alles für sein Kind. Falls ich es nicht erwähnte, McDonald's halt...

Empfehle euch wenn ihr in der Innenstadt unterwegs seid kurz zum Hauptbahnhof hochzulaufen und dort zu essen, hier ist der Mc‘s stark unterbesetzt und der Service eine reine Katastrophe.

Also das Essen war nicht so vielversprechend. Die Brötchen der Burger waren trocken und das Fleisch auch. Pommes waren sehr Salzig. Und das Ambiente könnte besser sein. Service war gut.

Якщо хочете розлюбити Макдональдс, то рекомендую. Часто лажають з кавою. Замовляєш капучіно - дають американо без молока. В бургери можуть не покласти огірки. Особливо коли бомж-набір за 5 ойро, де 2 бургери, коли і мала фрі. В одному бургері 90% не буде огірка. Так-то від українських Макдональдс їм ще ригати і ригати. Наші на дві голови вище по сервісові.

Стандартное меню, быстрое обслуживание. Не понравился ролл, в Германии его готовят не вкусно. Картошка фри холодная.

Leider war das Personal leicht genervt und zu sehr auf Feierabend fixiert. Obwohl also Gäste im Lokal essen, und weiterhin bedient werden, wurde die Benutzung der Toilette mit dem Hinweis " wurde schon sauber gemacht" nur nach heftiger Diskussion großzügig erlaubt.

Der schlechteste McDonald's in Essen. Das Personal ist immer anders und es passiert immer das Gleiche. Sie sind unfreundlich, schläfrig, vergessen immer etwas hineinzulegen, und wenn man sie darauf hinweist, dass etwas fehlt, geben sie es einem, als ob man zu ihnen nach Hause gekommen wäre und darum gebeten hätte.

Vormals BK, jetzt McDonald's. Personal freundlich. Was völlig nervt, dass die Hälfte der Menüs nicht über die App bestellbar ist (Doppelmenüs, Chicken 20er als Menü etc)

Der einzige Ort bei McDonald's, der großzügig Pommes serviert.

Das prächtige Restaurant, in das ich meinen Freundin zum Mittagessen mitgenommen habe, war wirklich spektakulär. Die Atmosphäre war elegant und einladend, die Einrichtung war exquisit und das Personal war sehr aufmerksam. Die Speisen waren hervorragend zubereitet, mit einem Hauch von Innovation und Kreativität, die jedes Gericht zu einem Kunstwerk machte. Es war ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis, sowohl kulinarisch als auch romantisch. Dieses Restaurant ist definitiv ein Luxus, den man sich gelegentlich gönnen sollte.

Die Plätze waren sehr sauber und man konnte gut sitzen (12 Uhr mittags). Meine Bestellung war nicht vollständig, hat sich aber schnell geklärt. Ich hatte einen Milchshake der nicht komplett gefüllt war. Also entweder ein Versehen oder man wird bewusst von MC Donalds verarscht (konnte man erst sehen als der Deckel ab war...). Ich wäre nochmal zum Service gelaufen (2. Mal), wenn ich nicht mit zwei Kindern da gewesen wäre.

Also, wenn es eine neue Definition von "Fast Food" gibt, habe ich sie noch nicht kennen gelernt 🤷‍♂️ Selten so lange auf 2 Burger gewartet.

Habe nur eine Cola bestellt, 0,4 . Die stand schon direkt neben der Kasse. Als ich draußen war und begann, die Cola zu trinken, merkte ich, das sie total verwässert war. Es war sehr viel Eis im Becher. Schade ☹️☹️☹️

Also Sauberkeit ist fragwürdig! Der Service war an diesen Tag auch nicht vorhanden. Denke aber dass das nicht ein Dauerzustand ist.

Horrible experience. I was with my baby and i wanted to change his diapers and the MAN black who clean the toilet with the MAN who clean the tables (who is angry all the time) make a big Trouble because i wanted to change him at the 🚼 table. I talked with the boss and also didn't help at all. I don't know how Macdonalds here have that kind of people "working". Making the life impossible to the clients!

Aussenbereich sehr unsauber / Personal steht draußen und rauchen , was nicht das Problem ist aber man kann doch tuch mit Eimer mitnehmen und Besen ! Herren WC Deckel locker kaputt , also sollte man vielleicht mal reparieren ! LG
