McDonald's in Hamburg

We really enjoyed everything! I got the wrong coffee at first, but after I mentioned it, I immediately received my correct order. We had a very good impression – the staff was friendly, the tables were clean, and there were lots of families with children in the dining room. There's also a large terrace outside, which is also very pleasant to sit on.

Today I ordered the McSmart Meal at the drive-thru twice. Unfortunately, the cheeseburgers were anything but fresh, and the Coke was still non-carbonated. That was very disappointing, especially since the food isn't really cheap anymore. If the staff hadn't forgotten to put napkins in the bag, I could have wiped away the tears of disappointment. There are better places.

I ordered 4 burgers but one of them was left over burger even though I told and showed the employee but he lied to me in the eyes

Update 07/13/25: Nothing has changed here. I hope I'll have some tough competition soon, KFC (; The food isn't brought to the table. Are you learning anything from my comment?! Even though it's a holiday, there are enough employees ;-)! French fries are a disaster. The employees act like they're superficial. Tables and chairs are dirty. Unfortunately, there's no better alternative in the area. And what's annoying is that around 10 p.m., the back area is always cordoned off so they can finish early and clean up, of course!

The fries are now systematically being ripped off. Over the past few months, we've repeatedly weighed them in the car, and in two-thirds of cases, the quantities were the same as in the medium fries. In the restaurant itself, they're cleverly placed so it's not immediately noticeable. Look at the fries: €3.79... that's a rip-off! Disaster!

We ate there with our children last Thursday and witnessed an incident that prompted us to stop visiting this branch for the time being. A customer approached the counter and asked to exchange a dirty spoon. He was then met with the following response from an employee (of foreign origin) in an aggressive and loud tone: Quote: "We're at McDonald's, what do you expect, a clean spoon?" We and other guests were initially speechless. But the customer didn't tolerate this behavior; quite the opposite. In front of all the guests and employees, he gave him a powerful lesson about cleanliness and customer service, for which we hereby award him 5 stars, not McDonald's. This branch is not worth a star as long as employees like this exist there.

Just picked up a McDrive-thru order with the kids. Everything was great! Very relaxed young people at the counter who were very accommodating to my children's requests (toys, etc.). I'd be happy to go again :-)

Incredibly unhygienic and disappointing! This was by far the dirtiest McDonald's I've ever seen. An open oat milk was left unattended, and the flies obviously had free rein. Everywhere, whether the floor, tables, or counter, you could see that either it hadn't been cleaned at all or the dirt was simply smeared. I observed how the floors and tables weren't cleaned when they were mopped, but rather the dirt was simply spread around. The restrooms were simply a disgrace. I don't expect this from McDonald's. I really hope that something will change soon, out of a sense of responsibility to the guests.

Unfriendly employees, shift managers think they're better than the customers and think they can talk however they want. They yell at customers at the McDrive whenever they don't understand them.

July 2, 2025: To me, this place is simply called "Dirty Donald," especially since here and in all other branches worldwide, no meat patties are sold, but rather the meat consists of 98% pure fat and 2% coloring chemicals. British celebrity chef Oliver Jamie and the British High Court are witnesses to this. September 2024: My impression: This McDonald's has probably only survived because it has been cutting back on salad, vegetables, and fruit for years. This is an impression I've been trying to shake since it opened. But now I'm old enough and fed up, and I'm turning my back on this branch and its employees who behave like Ronald McDonald. The last chicken burger was so full of ketchup that it completely ruined my white T-shirt. Thank you very much for that.

Actually, 0 stars. The wait time on Friday evenings is 30 minutes or more because the restaurant is understaffed. Vouchers are not accepted, but no reason is given as to why. The shift manager refuses to provide his name for a written complaint, nor does he give the name of his supervisor.

Why are there suddenly no more curly fries with a 9-piece Chicken McNugget meal? According to the employee, the menu is too small for that. However, in the McDonald's app, this meal can be ordered with curly fries. And it wasn't a problem the previous times either. I think this will be the last time I'll be there if this branch makes its own rules.

As always, for a quick snack. Is that okay?

Very dirty, and the staff is slow. It's great that it's a diverse team, but service is still part of the experience. Cleaning and speed are not good. The floor is very dirty, and the restrooms smell strongly of urine.

Before you take your order, check to see if everything's there... 7 out of 7 times, something was missing. In return, in plain English: they'll pick it up. Rude, service incredibly poor, but the staff always friendly.

Real freaks McDonald's had hair in the burger

We ordered, but unfortunately, we didn't get what we ordered. I then called the store, and the store manager was so rude and impertinent. We were supposed to call Lieferrando because they would deliver it, but that wasn't true, as this McDonald's has its own drivers, and our driver was even wearing a McDonald's shirt... Disaster.

I forgot to check the nuggets. I ordered 9, but the guy swapped the number and gave me 6. The food was cold. When I asked for a refund, they didn't exchange it. The staff were rude and disrespectful.

There are a lot of Asians in this branch, and that seems to make a positive difference. The food looks just like the pictures and tastes consistently delicious. So far, all orders have been flawless. Currently the best branch I know. A model for others. Note: I only order burgers and nuggets, so I can't rate the rest.

The best Mcdonalds in the HH-Wandsbek area!

We were just about to have breakfast before 10:00. 70% of the breakfast range was not available. There were only yellow glasses, even though all the colors were available. Now I have 3 yellow glasses instead of 3. By the way, the restaurant was about 1/3 full of customers. So rather empty. Sorry McDonalds but service is different.

Ordered online with a waiting time of 30 to 50 minutes. Then after 1 1/2 hours I tried to reach someone because suddenly the waiting time was set to 3 hours. Who are you kidding???

When two older, very important Blondies are on shift in the morning, there's just nothing going on in the store, you're ignored, there's no good morning, you're standing at the checkout, they stroll past you in slow motion and suddenly they're unpacking boxes, it's about the tenth time now 💁🏼‍♂️ this “Rastautant” 😅 I'm not going to visit anymore for now 🤙🏼

Went there again yesterday and ordered large fries with mayo. Then came the price: 5.19 euros! I think that's far too expensive for the product (contains no meat, doesn't need to be prepared in a laborious manner).

So where do I start? I bought a fish-o-filet and the sauce was everywhere but not in the burger. I ordered a Sprite and got a milkshake instead. It's possible to forget/mix things up, but when I picked up my menu, 1. half of it wasn't right 2. I paid extra for cheese and curry, which weren't made either. + The store was almost empty, so I can't explain how they managed something like that when there were only 2/3 customers in the store? Is it so hard to make orders for 3 people and not get them wrong? I would clean up with the employees if I were them.

Order placed at McDrive, several burgers individually and a pack of nuggets. When you get home you notice that the part is missing! Thanks for that, cash collected, but goods not received! McDrive wasn't full either, so you weren't stressed at all.

Eating on site: Unfortunately, the order was incomplete, so not everyone could eat at the same time. Service tried to deliver it later. When it's windy/cold it always drafts like pike soup there. It doesn't invite you to linger because you can hardly stand it without a jacket. The parking lot was full to the last spot; It's a shame that currently (February) 2-3 places are blocked by a pile of gravel.

It was about half full, but the burger and small Coke came to the table after just two minutes of waiting. Burger as requested and hot, the cola cold. Okay so far. But the cleanliness of the seats and the toilets is not far off. Therefore only three stars.

I just ordered but they eat so cold it's not that good

We ordered from this McDonald's 3 times and waited a really long time 3 times. The man on the phone argues with me endlessly. Liferando says the food will be with me in 30 minutes and the man said no, that can't be the case. Liferando says 90 minutes. We've been waiting for almost 2 hours now. Last time they didn't bring fries or sauce, nor any juice and the man on the phone said I was lying. Every time I should call and waste my time and lie to you? What's that supposed to mean. NEVER AGAIN.

Saturday, 9 a.m. Very slow service for an almost empty McDonalds. Took almost 15 minutes. Was pushed onto the McDrive, which was also almost empty.

We just stopped at this McDonald's by chance. Happy Meal was OK so far. Unfortunately, the Hamburger TS was not tasty. Cheese doesn't run & too much mayo. The first store where the curly fries weren't fully cooked. Really a shame. We were there at a time when there was little going on.

This branch has probably made a fool of itself simply by the fact that if you order on the drive and pay the full price you only get half price... I CAN'T ADVISE ANYONE TO CHECK THEIR ORDER! An average fast food restaurant with the usual selection. Floor, window panes and tables dirty smeared, very unappetizing. The food came very quickly. There was little going on. Service was inattentive and pushed the full tray return cart away while we wandered around with the trays looking for help.

We were there last night and I can already say: never again. The older man with black and gray hair, obviously the boss, really managed to ruin our evening. I ordered via the app, entered table number 32 and naively thought that the food would be brought to the table - after all, that's the point of it, right? Instead, the restaurant shouted loudly several times that we should pick up the order ourselves. The gentleman is “too busy”. Too busy for what, you ask? For the job he was supposed to do, obviously. Then he runs to another table and personally tells the guests that they should please get their orders themselves. He was kind enough to do this empty-handed. Because why bring the food with you when you can provoke an additional detour? Pure efficiency. To top off the evening, shortly after 11 p.m., we were told in the middle of dinner that we should sit somewhere else because the good man had “closed” this area. When I politely asked if we could at least eat in peace, I was generously allowed to say: “Yes, but not sitting. Eat and go.” Really big cinema. You immediately feel welcome. How one manages to be so unfriendly, lazy and overwhelmed at the same time remains a mystery to me. The gentleman is walking through the restaurant, the tables are all dirty, but he is too busy to do anything - apart from telling the guests to help themselves. There are really many restaurants where you can feel comfortable. This is definitely not one of them. If you like to be shouted at and pay for it - you've come to the right place.

We always come to this M when we are in HH because there are good e-charging stations in front of the door, and then we have a coffee. At just under €4, the cappuccino isn't exactly a bargain and the taste can be improved. Delicious ice cream. So I entered this place for the first time this morning around 7:50 am. The door was open, so it must have been busy. 1 other guest, no one else to be seen. Well, first used the toilet, it was clean and OK. Then I wanted to order (and drink) a coffee, but there was no one from the staff there. Well, I used these terrible monitors to order, at some point I'll have to learn how to use something like that. Receipt printed out with the intention of paying for my coffee and even receiving it at some point. But it was nothing, no chance, I don't think anyone works in this branch, there was no one to be seen. After waiting for more than 5 minutes, I left again. Luckily you can still get coffee in the morning somewhere else ;)

Best McDonald's in Hamburg. Interference always works, it's never a problem and ice cream is always nice. Thanks to the employee who carries out the maintenance correctly. Food always fresh and good. Delivery service works from all providers, only when it wants to. Food sucks and something is always missing. You always have to check beforehand whether everything is there. You can't order there with the My Mc Donalds app...

My salad had something strung in it and I accept 1 piece but 3 pieces are hard and real and I ate one of them that was brewed before I made the dressing and they also gave me the wrong dressing. Not recommended to eat there

I think the photo speaks volumes. What a piece of shit. That wasn't always the case! An increasing number of young employees have joined. You could send them all back home, I'm a young man myself. But that's not possible, so don't even apply there. Toilets looked horrible, at least the air dryer and desi/soap dispenser look really good😂. Tables mostly dirty, greasy as well as the floor and seats. The toilets stink, the floor in front of the goods receiving or ordering area is so greasy that I slip when I lean on it. Are there no foremen or other people who control things like this or is money ruling here again? In any case, juice shop, I only come there to pee because I wash my car next door, even there the floor is cleaner. The dirt on the ground is more edible than the shed. Everyone get out, letters of recommendation should be stapled to your back, you won't find a decent job with such behavior and you can dream of financial freedom for a long time.

Bad service! Ordered two normal hamburgers 🍔 and waited for almost 30 minutes. When asked why it took so long for two hamburgers, the answer was that breakfast had just ended. I would say bad management, because 30 minutes is not okay for a drive in!!!

Absolute disaster wanted to order a cheeseburger with cash, the unwilling person behind the cash register said that wasn't possible and directed me to the machine to order.

The first time I was dissatisfied at McDonalds. Although my Big Mac was only prepared when I ordered it, the burger was cold (I don't mean lukewarm, but cold) and the meat was dry. That's why the cheese wasn't melted. Apparently the meat was pre-fried and then just lying around in a bowl. My burgers tasted the same. The atmosphere in the branch was cold, there was practically no heating and everything seemed depressing. You can also enjoy a wonderful view of a gas station and car wash. Most of the time the employees were busy making jokes with each other. Well done, a good mood is important. The rest of this McDonald's was very poor. Parking spaces are rather scarce.

Went there for breakfast on a Sunday morning. With few customers, the salespeople seemed completely overwhelmed, our entire take-away order was wrong NEVER THIS DIRTY STORE AGAIN!

This McDonald's is further away from my home base, but it is much cleaner and the service is also much better than some other stores. Therefore I can recommend this shop.
