The woman at the restroom was appalling. Aggressive, barely spoke German, and acted like she was security. She snapped at my wife and chased her away because she didn't know you had to show a receipt to use the restroom. Then she ran after her to "explain" the whole thing to my wife and me in the most condescending tone. I have never experienced such disrespectful behavior in any restaurant before. The manager apologized proactively and showed understanding.

Mr. McDonald, During the daytime, a restroom attendant (african woman) is present in the toilets and verbally aggresses customers when they do not have coins to pay. This situation is inappropriate and creates a hostile environment for customers.

I don't understand why management ignores customer complaints. One problem is the restroom. Today, the unfriendly employee who collects the toilet fees first annoyed me with her rudeness, and then there was another problem: there was no toilet paper in any of the stalls, and the doors were broken. I went to McDonald's today and had a really bad experience. I needed to use the restroom and wanted to order something afterward. A Ghanaian woman was sitting in front of the restrooms, acting like she was security, and told me I had to pay. When I asked why I had to pay, she just said, "Go ask them." She was aggressive and spoke loudly in her language. I then went to the manager. He said he would talk to her, but he just seemed totally weird, like he didn't really care. The restroom fee is actually voluntary, like a tip for the cleaning staff. Because of the employee's aggression, I didn't order anything in the end. I'm never going there again. P.S.: Pay the cleaning staff properly instead of letting them beg for money. I also saw her pocket the money.

The food was okay, but I've never seen anything like it in my life... A woman who I don't think works at McDonald's (dressed strangely and wearing flip-flops in December) was standing in front of the restrooms demanding money to use them... I've never seen anyone pay to use the restroom at McDonald's.

By far the best McDonald's in Germany in a city center location! Super friendly, especially the managers (shift supervisors)! It's still a fast-food restaurant, and if a crumb happens to be left on the table, you can clean it up yourself. Especially during peak hours, customers often bring in mess (some of whom don't even order anything and just charge their phones for free). Keep a low profile! And if something doesn't meet your expectations, just ask!

You have to pay to use the restroom or wash your hands before eating. What do you have to pay for and why? There's no free Wi-Fi.

I only went to McDonald's to use the restroom, so I ordered at 9:09 AM. At that time, the restroom was being cleaned. When I finished eating at 9:53 AM, it was still closed! At least seven women and three men were waiting to use the restroom. The cleaner was very unfriendly and just kept saying, "Not finished yet!" One woman asked how much longer it would take – "Two hours?" – and then stormed off, clearly annoyed. The service was absolutely chaotic!

Incredibly bad food. Morning wrap was 30 % fulled with salad, weird crumbs instead of bacon and omelet not scrambled eggs as were in a menu.

By far the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. My husband looked like someone had sat on it. Everything was unbelievably dirty. People put their empty food wrappers on the benches or left them there because all the trolleys were completely full. There were empty tissues everywhere. The music was way too loud and the staff were unfriendly. In the girls' restroom a man suddenly came out and only 1 of the 3 toilets worked because the wall between the other toilets was missing, including the door. Then I wanted to use soap. I pressed this lever and suddenly the whole box popped off. No one took care of anything. Really, wow, really disgusting.

We were at this branch on October 18, 2025, at 10 p.m. The food is always the same, it's McDonald's. Service was terrible! We ordered at our table via the app, but it wasn't brought as advertised; it was left on the counter until we asked. Tables and tray carts weren't cleared, let alone cleaned. The restrooms were worse than a construction site toilet. If you want to catch a disease, you should definitely use the restrooms. Team Wallraff should take a look at this branch.

The toilets were the worst. Last night, Saturday, 18/20/25, a man came out of the toilet. Okay, McDonald's can't do anything about that. But for toilets without doors and partitions, that's a low point. Only one toilet was usable. I'll send the pictures to the public order office.

The restrooms are a disaster. None of them could be locked. One was broken, and the door hung crookedly on its hinges. In another, the partition wall slammed open when you closed the door. Before you even entered, however, you were rudely asked to pay. For what? For toilets that couldn't be used?

My milkshake looked like it had whipped cream on top, and I have no idea if that was whipped cream or not. There were also ice cubes in my milkshake, which isn't normal. Most of the contents of my burger were outside the bun, which was even better considering we didn't get any servings. My hands are full of sauce, and half the contents of my burger are on the floor.

I've never experienced such a miserable store. Orders can't be taken correctly, there's apparently no orange juice on the menu, and then I'm supposed to carry several drinks without a tray, thanks to the completely incompetent shift worker or even the store manager. Never again.

Unfortunately, my wife and I can only agree with the other reviews. We were there around 11 p.m. This was the second time we've been to this branch (because we love to take a weekend trip here to Aachen). No one bothered to take our money, so we politely asked, "Will someone be right away?" No one came, waited about 15 minutes, second visit about 20 minutes. We just left. It's a good thing we wanted to pay in cash. No food twice. And the state of the store is unpleasant, since you want to eat there. The floor is sticky with receipts everywhere. Some tables weren't cleared. To sum it up: NEVER AGAIN It's a real shame; it could be doing really well, and the store itself is nice.

Waited 20 minutes for the takeaway. One employee kept digging into the fries and snacking. I wanted to eat Filet O Fish, which until recently was €3, which was already expensive, but now €5.95 is simply outrageous for a burger that disappears in three bites. The burgers were carelessly slapped into the box. The local restaurant can't be blamed for the prices, but the service and impression in Aachen Brand is considerably better.

The floor throughout the store is incredibly sticky and, in places, so oily that you slip. Unfortunately, the shoes are so slippery that you still slip even after you've walked in. We wanted to have a coffee here. But after a pigeon walked through the store, I was completely lost.

My visits to McDonald's Aachen for both a quick dinner and breakfast were surprisingly excellent. The food was consistently fresh, with everything tasting hot and just prepared – a definite highlight. Equally impressive was the incredibly quick service. Despite being busy, orders were taken and delivered in a flash. The staff were also efficient and friendly. For a convenient, satisfying, and high-quality fast-food experience in Aachen, I highly recommend this location. They truly deliver on both speed and freshness!

I had a very disappointing experience at this McDonald’s location. I ordered Big Mac sauce as a side but was given curry sauce by mistake. When I politely asked for the correct item, the bald staff member with a headset (who appeared to be a supervisor or manager) acted disinterested and dismissive. He took back the curry sauce and threw the Big Mac sauce onto the table as if handing it to a dog. Because of his behavior, I would not want to visit this store again. I hope the service here improves.

Bad atmosphere.. paid 20 euros for 2 fries and 2 drinks.. iced coffee didn't even have ice, caramel frappe had barely any whipped cream and wasn't completely filled and no caramel on top, you still pay almost 5 euros for it. Employees are also not friendly at all and you wait super long. Dirtier benches too and you have to pay for the toilet.

I've ordered the Double Chicken Burger for Smart Menu several times, but I've often received either a Double Beef or a regular chicken burger. Orders are often mixed up.

Moldy chicken sandwich. Absolutely disgusting, and I only noticed after taking multiple bites. I asked for my money back for the sandwich (I didn’t want another chicken sandwich after eating a moldy one) and they refused. Horrible customer service and clearly not following food safety guidelines.

The restroom attendant is incredibly rude! She complains terribly to customers because she's cleaning. It could be a bit friendlier! If you arrive after 8 p.m., there's no toilet paper left (in three restrooms!). One of them has been broken for ages and can't be used. A change of staff would be the best solution.

Never again... Ordered via terminal - instead of the selected toy, they brought a stupid puzzle. Plus, the food was missing, which you then had to get yourself. We ordered takeout, but then "had" to eat in because our order was prepared incorrectly. The staff also misread our order number... We ordered 2 cheeseburgers and 2 chicken burgers and got 3 chicken burgers and 1 cheeseburger. Otherwise, it was pretty good.

Absolutely incompetent staff, their friendliness borders on rudeness. A wait of approximately 30 minutes doesn't exactly fit the definition of fast food, and by the time the food is ready, it's already cold. The burgers are always so crooked that they fall apart before you even touch them.

One of the worst McDonald's in Aachen ever. First you wait 10 minutes at the checkout. Then someone comes and says it will take a moment. Unfortunately, no one came after another 10 minutes. They simply don't want to serve the customer here. You can't use the terminals either because they've still been broken for months and they simply don't respond to pressing. Often the paper is empty and you have no receipt. Overall very dissatisfied. I would only recommend going here if you have a lot of time and patience.

I got a meat wrap instead of my mozzarella wrap. Since I'm a vegetarian, this food is now wasted and I'm going to bed hungry today. A really disappointing first experience - I can't do anything as I ordered online via Uber and they don't want to help either.

This store is a disappointment. I come from the north and had dinner here late in the evening. I'm saying this because I didn't know this shop before and would like to give a neutral review. The order taking went well at the checkout. When I picked up the food I noticed that 2 burgers were missing, okay that can happen, I also know from the other McDonald's branches, after I let them know I also got the burgers. Now unfortunately the worst comes, The tray on which the food was packed was wet... That was totally disgusting, I actually lost my food and of course the food was soggy. The fries were unusually tasteless, but normally they are not well seasoned here. The cola had no carbon dioxide and there was no ice in it, because of the lack of carbon dioxide it didn't taste like normal cola at all. You know it differently. The McDonald's headquarters should urgently take a look here and take a look at the hygienic deficiencies. Hopefully you can see in the photos how wet the tray was around the edges.

Nice McDonald's with a lot of space (not a lot of people on Easter Sunday morning). There is outdoor seating in a courtyard too.

I really can't recommend this McDonald's branch to anyone. Some of the machines for ordering are broken. Unfortunately, this is not new but a problem that has been occurring for a long time. After a few minutes I received my milkshake. Instead of putting the straw down normally, it was simply thrown onto the counter and almost fell down, which I wouldn't want with the floor. I went out of the branch and checked to see if the chocolate sauce had been made. Of course the sauce wasn't made pure, which I paid extra for. The worst branch in Aachen city that I have seen so far. I ordered a Big Tasty Bacon, it was delivered without bacon and the Mc Rib had no sauce on it. It was also very dirty there, the delivery to the table was very quick, there were a lot of service staff, but not even one table was wiped down, there were some leftover food lying around. I won't go there anymore.

The ordering machines were broken and the cash register wasn't staffed either. There is still rubbish on the tables throughout the restaurant as the clearing trolleys have not been emptied. The pick-up display didn't work either and the employees, who worked incredibly slowly, only called quietly and in bad German. Ordered a menu with Big Tasty. Instead of beef there was a weird piece of chicken inside. How is that even possible? After that I can not order here anymore and do not recommend to other people.That is a change of an original recipe. I can only guess, what kind of other violations may happen there.

I can't do anything with McDonald's anymore. Hence this negative review. So it's just my personal opinion. As a teenager and young adult, I basically lived on the stuff. Today people are more mature, wiser and more enlightened. I feel guilty and sick every time I enter one of these "restaurants".
