Very tasty, innovative dishes and cocktails (especially the house-made Tomatini). The menu changes regularly, and there's something for everyone: fish, meat, vegetarian, and desserts ❤️ The owner and staff are very friendly and attentive. You can tell they enjoy their work and enjoy being there. Be especially careful with older restaurant reviews that still refer to the previous restaurant. There has been a change of ownership with a new, innovative concept, excellent dishes and drinks, and very good service, which is what my review refers to. We visited both the previous restaurant and this one. The difference is clear, and we've enjoyed coming here since the change. Both the restaurant and the bistro are highly recommended. Great decor, friendly service, good fusion cuisine. The only drawback: the price-performance ratio wasn't right. The food is very expensive and the portions are very small. The food was very good, even if the Wagyu steak was too fatty for me personally. However, we received no expert information from the service staff about the food or drinks. When the food was served, the waiter's thumb was stuck in the food. Unfortunately, the food came far too quickly, so it was a bit uncomfortable and the dirty dishes were cleared away with the last bite. The cocktails were tasty but also expensive. All in all, the restaurant is recommended for a special occasion. However, only on a Friday or Saturday, as there will also be a DJ at the desk. We were there during the week. Unfortunately there was no live music here and so the club atmosphere was a bit lost.

As two Ladies, who arrived pretty late there, we asked how long they were still open. The bartender said until every guest leaves and we could still order. After paying 20 Euros esch for 1 cocktail they immediately started cleaning up the place and we asked if we could have the cocktails to go. We were really friendly until the bartender rudely replied „Well then drink faster, we dont have cups“ Excuse me? Who says that to paying Customers 2Minutes after asking? Extremely rude. Also the Lady at the Entrance made a snarly remark „That we look like 18 years old“ when we are in our 30s, laughable and arrogant.

Great insider tip in Düsseldorf. Very good ambience, very good food and very good service. I particularly wanted to highlight Viktoria, she served us during our last stay. We did not make reservations, since it did not have any availability, regardless we took our chances and decided to walk in and it was packed! However, Kristina, Jacob and Victoria’s warm welcome and hospitality made our dinner memorable and very special! They have found a place in a corner of the bar and treated us with utmost kindness and respect! Food: Oysters with Yuzu is delicious and perfectly paired with a nice bubbly rose. Every dish we have ordered made with high quality and well put together ingredients and flavors that complement each other and the wine or cocktails you order. In addition, their live dj and drummer 🪘 made this restaurant an amazing experience with a trendy beats of the deep house music and a synchronized and harmonious musical playlist that urges everyone to dance! LOVED IT!

Perfect place for quiet conversations, e.g. business meetings during the week. On the weekend, however, the music is supposedly louder there from around 10/11 p.m. and there is probably dancing too. The food was amazing (MFC, tuna tataki, burrata,...) and creative. We received a very friendly welcome and professional service. At the end we were even helped into our jackets - something that's rare these days! Top!

- very bad service - the food was fine and broad choice - great ambiance with a dinner show and very clean spaces We were very excited to have dinner at MBassy, as the reviews gave us high expectations. Upon arrival they were very pleasant and professional. None the less after we sat down it took 20-25 minutes and us explicitly asking/calling the staff to us to get our drinks order in because they kept skipping our table. The women next to us were already installed when we arrived. They ordered their food when we got in and only 25 minutes later we ordered ours. However we still got our food before them. It felt very unpleasant and awkward to get our food first. After that the table on the other side who got in even later than us also got their octopus earlier than the women. (So the table who ordered first before any one got their food after everybody else) We had a laugh about it together with them and we could see the positive side of it, but the prices did not meet the service standard at all. Besides this they also poured the drinks first for my boyfriend (so man first before the woman) which is not the worst but all put together did not help with the quality. To top the terrible service off, we did not want to tip because we did not feel it was earned. At payment the waiter asked us “No tip or anything?” Which gave us a very sour taste because you are not supposed to ask this to your customer.

Wenn ich mehr als 5 Sterne geben könnte, würde ich tun 😌 Das Team ist einfach fantastisch, so nett und liebevoll. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und hat eine sehr gute Qualität. Selbstverständlich die Weinkarte nicht vergessen die eine sehr gute Auswahl auch hat.

Wir waren zu viert an einem Samstag von 20 Uhr bis 23 Uhr dort. Ambiente: wunderschöne, geschmackvolle und besondere Einrichtung - ein echter Hingucker. Aber: bis 22 Uhr gemäßigte, angenehme Lautstärke, gut zum Unterhalten. Ab 22 Uhr allerdings wurde die Musik so laut, dass Essen und Unterhalten keinen Spaß mehr machte. Wer sich dann auf Mitfeiern einstellt wird allerdings auf seine Kosten kommen. Essen: im Wesentlichen nett angerichtet, besondere und zum Teil unübliche Zusammenstellungen - einige Gerichte großartig, andere nur OK. Allerdings alle sehr hochpreisig, so dass oftmals Preis-/Leistung nicht passte. Auch die Karte ist nicht wirklich selbsterklärend, keine echte Unterteilung zwischen Vor- und Nachspeisen, oftmals liegt hier die Idee zugrunde, alles miteinander zu teilen. OK, wenn man sich darauf einstellt. Personal: viel Personal, sehr bemüht, manchmal fehlt etwas die Erfahrung, aber im Wesentlichen OK. Fazit: Einstellen auf hochpreisig, Teilen der Gerichte mit seinen Begleitern und Feierlautstärke ab 22 Uhr und einen vom Üblichen abweichenden Abend in einem tollen Ambiente genießen.

Initially, the upscale ambience gave us a very positive impression of the location, which was unfortunately replaced more quickly than expected by quite intrusive "service" and passive-aggressive behavior from the waiters. If you don't order the most expensive dish and the largest bottle of champagne, you will be devalued by non-verbal gestures such as surprised looks and pitying asides, so that the guest does not feel comfortable. The evening started very pleasantly and ended early at our request, as we are used to other venues with an even more upscale format.

Great ambience Super chic restaurant with great cocktails, but they are overpriced. What unfortunately spoiled our evening was the very pushy waitress, who not only pushed you to order, but also came 10 times at short intervals to ask if we could decide. Very, very inappropriate, especially when you are interrupted while talking to guests. Food was delicious but vegetarian dishes were overpriced! For 27 euros just cauliflower, which was like a starter!! But the Kokteyls are awesome!

Guten service und ganz nett. Ich würde es empfehlen.

Grundsätzlich war das Essen okay aber nicht überragend. Der neue Unterschied zwischen Mbassy und Le Cou Cou konnte uns nicht wirklich klar gemacht werden. Großer Nachteil, der letztlich für uns auch der Grund ist nicht wiederzukommen, ist der Umgang bzw. die mangelnde Flexibilität. Wir hatten einen hochwertigen Gutschein, dieser wurde zwar akzeptiert aber da wir nicht die volle Summe verbrauchen konnten, wurde uns für das Restguthaben (immerhin 40 Euro) eine Flasche Wein angeboten statt eines Restguthabens für einen weiteren Besuch. So gewinnt man aus unserer Sicht keine wiederkehrenden Gäste.

A great choice if you are looking for cross over international cuisine that offers something from steak to oriental inspired sharing dishes. The interior is stunning and modern - especially the separee is a top notch spot for a more intimate dining experience. Drinks menu is quite good with some well known red and white options. Nice bubble choices including larger formats (magnum etc.). Staff was super friendly and ensured that we had a great evening.

A great restaurant with a beautiful ambience and fantastic food. The menu is creative, international and contains delicious surprises for all gourmet palates. Unique ambience and the food is next level! We have been here several times and have been surprised every time - a feeling like in New York, Paris, Dubai! In my opinion it is a unique experience and there is no other experience like it in Düsseldorf! 🍸 By the way, an absolute secret tip is the Stateroom jazz club down in the restaurant - perfect after dinner with live jazz and signature cocktails. This was a business meeting for eleven people. Our waiter was patient and explained the menu options with some recommendations. We all had a great time and enjoyed the different dishes and drinks. DJ and entertainment were unexpected but a great addition to a beautiful decoration.

The Mbassy by Franks scores primarily with its prime location, very stylish ambience and very pleasant "chillout" atmosphere late at night. The music animation rounded off the positive first impression. However, the price/performance ratio of the food and drinks I ordered was not right for me. Because the quality couldn't keep up with the high prices. That's a shame, but in my opinion there's still room for improvement ⬆️. Therefore only three stars.

Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut und der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Konzept mehrere Gerichte zu teilen und kombinieren hat uns Spaß gemacht. Ein wenig internationale Atmosphäre und angenehme Stimmung. Die Getränke im Frank’s Club unten waren allerdings völlig überteuert. Bei live Musik und guter Performance vielleicht vertretbar, da man keinen Eintritt bezahlt, aber für das gebotene Programm unangemessen.

Surprisingly disappointing, it's unbelievable that in such an expensive high-end restaurant, there are nachos and fries as entrees. The menu is very poorly designed, the starters mixed with the main courses, 2 dishes that are restored but from there chicken leg and fried chicken? Are you serious? And to make matters worse, a waitress who not only pressures you to order, but also doesn't understand the guests' communication code. The drinks were poorly served, the liquid was spilled, the whole table was dirty and the glasses were all sticky. I could see the disappointed faces of the guests next to us and it was the same feeling, don't even think about going to this place.

Das „Restaurant“ ist stilvoll eingerichtet und mit DJ und Live-Act war es eine gute Stimmung an einem Samstagabend. Das personal ist super freundlich, auch wenn es an der ein oder anderen Stelle an Erfahrung und Kompetenz fehlte. Auf diesem Preisniveau erwarte ich, dass sich das Personal mit den Gerichten und auch mit den Weinen besser auskennt. Unsere Erwartung an die „Showkitchen“ war hoch, mit Show hatte es aber leider nichts zu tun. Es ist einfach eine offene Küche mit Blick auf die Anrichte. Die Qualität des Essens steht leider nicht im Verhältnis zu den Preisen. Man zahlt für das Ambiente, das sollte man wissen. Wir haben unsere Enttäuschung dem Personal mitgeteilt und hatten das Gefühl, dass man offen für die Kritik war. Wir wurden anschließend auch noch auf einen Drink an der Bar eingeladen und konnten uns so ein Bild von der guten Stimmung im „Restaurant“ machen. Fazit: Cooler Laden mit nettem Personal, aber als Restaurant nicht unsere erste Wahl.

Das Essen war ungenießbar, die Ostern serviert mit eine unpassende Sause, Sashimi weit von topqualität entfernt. Wir haben deswegen gar kein Hauptgericht genommen, sondern in ein anderes Restaurant essen gegangen. Mit Wein 200 Euro gekostet Ambiente top.

Also erst einmal ein Kompliment an das tolle Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider waren die Nachos als Vorspeise nicht frisch (knackig) - Guacamole war gut. Hauptgang Chicken mit grünem Spargel war sehr gut. Tolle Atmosphäre - werde wieder kommen.

Super stylish shop with a very cozy and cool atmosphere. The amount of food is quite manageable, but damn tasty. The cocktails are also absolutely recommended, the look and taste are just really good. The only drawback was the service. Which is actually astonishing, because it felt like there were a lot of service people milling around. The service staff were actually super friendly and helpful, but unfortunately orders sometimes took forever or were even completely forgotten. Most of the main courses for the 6 of us came at completely different times. One person forgot part of the main course and another person even forgot the entire main course. After asking several times, she finally got her food after what felt like an eternity. But everyone else was already done with it. The same thing happened again and again with the cocktails. So if the service is optimized a bit, it could really be a great store! ;)

Our experience at mbassy was extremely disappointing. Despite a reservation for 16 people, we were literally left out in the cold because something went wrong with the booking. Despite the fact that the restaurant already had several free tables at that time, the incompetent lady at the reception refused to offer us a seat or to put more chairs at our table. Instead of receiving us appropriately, we were coldly sent away and forced to look for an alternative nearby. This proved particularly difficult as there were no easy options at that time and during a trade fair. The lack of professionalism and disinterest in our well-being left a bitter aftertaste. Such a renowned restaurant should treat its guests better.

It's a terrible place. The problem started at the door. We made a reservation for 15 people and they wanted to separate us into two groups. The person checking the reservations at the door said that instead of correcting his mistake with his nose in the head, he also said that we do not have a spare table, we cannot provide spare chairs. I have never seen a place with such bad ambiance and such bad service.

Licht und Schatten liegen beieinander. Leitungswasser zu fast 8.-- € sowie billigsten Wein( EK 3.20 / Liter) zu 14 € je knapp 0.2 zu verkaufen ist dreist. Ein Mini Brot Körbchen ( 4 schmale Streifen aufback Baguette zu 3,80) ist extrem unverschämt Moskau Moule mit 15 € unangemessen teuer, nicht wohlschmeckend aber immerhin im. Kupfer Becher Essen sehr kreativ & lecker Leider zersetzen die die o. a. Punkte sowie die Aufmerksamkeit eines Teils des Service Personals - hier von extrem unaufmerksam bis gut alles vertreten- den guten Eindruck des Essens. Beschallung viel zu laut.
