We ordered catering from Masala King for 15 people and were very satisfied! From the communication and advice at the beginning, to the delivery and then the quality and taste of the food, everything was great!! Also great value for money. Our guests were also thrilled. Highly recommended!

We ordered online and waited 90 minutes for delivery. Masala King is comparatively cheap for an Indian delivery service in Cologne, but 60 euros for 2 vegetarian and 2 meat dishes is not little either. When we first ordered a few months ago, the portions were rather large. Today we were unfortunately disappointed, the aluminum bowls were only half or 1/3 full. The taste was okay, but we probably won't order there again, also because of the long delivery time.

The food was very good and it tasted very good! The food came quickly and the service was very friendly and accommodating! The ambience was ok but could be optimized! All in all it was a good experience!

Was there for the 6th time today. Simply incredible food. Drive an extra 40 km just for this authentically good Indian food. You can simply taste the quality here. I would give 10 stars for the food alone. You just shouldn't expect a restaurant atmosphere here. But it's still comfortable. I'll be back soon. Just fantastic.

It's the closest to authentic Pakistani/Indian food and not tailored according to foreigners. Spice levels are also according to traditional pak/Indian levels and not fabricated. Absolutely love it .

We have ordered here several times. Unfortunately, the delivery time is never correct. In addition, the food, which was ordered mild, was prepared spicy and could not be eaten for health reasons. Chicken kashmiri was missing both pineapple and almonds. It was chicken with sauce without the other ingredients described. Since everyone can have a bad day, we tried our luck again and were disappointed again. Unfortunately not recommended as a delivery service. The staff was always very nice on the phone calls.

Unfortunately I can't rate the food because we never received it. The delivery time was about 1 hour in the Uber app, which is completely okay on Shrove Monday. Even two hours would be fine if the restaurant explained it to you in a friendly and accommodating manner over the phone. Unfortunately the opposite was the case, on my second call I was simply pushed away after a few indifferent words. Unfortunately we had to cancel the order after 140 minutes of waiting, and the nice driver arrived 15 minutes later. But we had already cooked ourselves. It's a shame that the many bad reviews have been confirmed.

Hmm... What can you say? The food is really delicious. Six of us spontaneously ate there. The shop was dirty and the owner was anything but friendly. If we had had a little more time, we would never have stayed there. But to everyone's surprise, the food was really good

We have been ordering from Masallah King for several years and have never been disappointed. The main courses and starters are extremely good. Several dips are usually included. Most of the time we got more than we ordered. The employees are always friendly. We can particularly recommend: - Chicken Jalfrezi, - Say And the samosas! Really great food 👍

The opening time says it's open until 11:45 p.m., I call at 10:20 p.m. and am told that the kitchen has already closed. The man on the phone didn't even bother to speak to me on the phone, unbelievable. You can...NOT provide service 👍🏼

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet! Sehr tolle Gewürze, der Reis sehr gut, die Saucen wirklich klasse! Ich verstehe den Großteil der Bewertungen hier nicht. Wenn ich schnelles Essen haben will frisst man Müll vom goldenen M. Dieses Restaurant setzt auf andere Wert und das machen sie sehr gut! Da finde ich 1,5stunden Wartezeit an einem Samstag Abend völlig okay! Vielen Dank und bis demnächst🙂

Essen schmeckt wirklich sehr gut, haben es uns immer nach Hause liefern lassen. Man muss allerdings ungefähr 1h als Lieferzeit einplanen…

Über über eats bestelllt, nach 2,5h Wartezeit geht keiner ans Telefon. Der Laden hat einfach zu gemacht, wir haben unser Essen nie erhalten. Absolut lächerlich! Nie wieder.

Wir haben heute bei Masala King bestellt und dies wird wahrscheinlich das letzte Mal sein. Bestellt wurden zwei Gerichte, ein Knoblauch Naan und als Vorspeise noch 2 Samosa. Die bestellten Samosas wurden nicht geliefert. Nachdem wir dies bei Masala King telefonisch durchgegeben hatten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass der Fahrer sofort darüber informiert wird. Wir sind davon ausgegangen, dass die Nachlieferung noch erfolgen wird, allerdings warteten wir eine Stunde vergeblich auf diese. Als wir nach der besagten Stunde erneut im Restaurant anriefen, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass der Fahrer sagte, dass alles wie bestellt ausgeliefert wurde (was allerdings nicht der Fall war). Da die zwei gelieferten Gerichte gut schmeckten, bewerten wir den Lieferdienst insgesamt mit 2 Sternen. In puncto Kundenservice ist allerdings noch sehr viel Luft nach oben.

Der Service ist leider sehr schlecht geworden. Das Essen ist an für sich ganz lecker, aber wenn beim Gericht " Tandori Chicken mit Reis" bei der Lieferung kein Reis geliefert wird , weil man extra Naan Brot bestellt ist das für mich nicht nachvollziehbar. Bestellte Soßen waren nicht vollständig, und das extra bestellte Naanbrot als auch ein kleiner Beilagensalat ebenfalls vergessen. Dann entsprach der Rechnungsbetrag aus der Email auch nicht dem Rechnungsbetrag des Fahrers, hier waren sogar noch 2 Euro Aufschlag dabei. Nach telefonischer Anmerkung des fehlenden Essens warte ich heute noch auf die Nachlieferung. Das wars.....

Eigentlich ganz leckeres Essen. Aber die vorletzte Bestellung wurde drei Stunden zu früh geliefert, später fehlten Dips und es wurde ein falsches Gericht geliefert. Heute die letzte Chance, bestellt für 20 Uhr, geliefert 20 Minuten zu früh, ein Dip zu wenig, Schärfeangaben bei den Hauptgerichten vertauscht. Dazu hatte sich beim Transport ein Deckel gelöst, das Curry klebte an allem! Wir suchen uns einen neuen Inder.

FINGER WEG!!! 2 Stunden Wartezeit anstatt wie angegebene 55 Minuten ist unverschämt. Essen kalt. Reis schmeckt nach Wasser. Butter chicken schmeckte nicht gut. Habe 15,40€ in den Müll geworfen. Teile das mit meinen follower mit. Das ist unverschämt

Seit über 3 Jahren kaufe ich dort Chicken Curry mit Reis. Und seit über 3 Jahren schmeckt es da meistens gut. Doch es gab falsche Lieferungen. Teils kalt oder Soße total wässrig. Jedes Mal wenn man da anruft, beharren die Herren auf ihr Recht und man lege falsch bzw. Es wird nie ein Fehler eingesehen. Der Grund für die heutige letzte Bestellung und die Rezession: wir bestellen telefonisch. Es heißt es sei nicht viel los und das Essen kommt schnell. Nach einer Stunde rufen wir an, weil wir weg müssen und es heißt der Fahrer sei schon unterwegs. 20 Minuten später kommt er dann. Wir mussten 1 Stunde und 20 min warten! Dabei ist das Restaurant 6 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Dann angefangen zu essen und das Essen ist total scharf. Dort angerufen wird der Koch gefragt, welcher sagt es sei nicht scharf und damit war das Thema für ihn gegessen. Ich meinte nur daraufhin das ich da oft bestelle und es gerade definitiv Unverträglich ist, weil es zu scharf ist. Darauf wird nur wieder ein ist nicht scharf erwidert. Und auf meine Aussage das ich es nun nicht essen kann, kam nur ein ok. Es gab in den 3 Jahren nicht einmal eine Erstattung oder sonstiges. Aufgelegt weiter gegessen und ein Haar drin gefunden. Tut mir echt leid aber der Service ist miserabel und unfreundlich.

Hat online bestellt, 4 Stunden und 10-15 Anrufern später (nur 3x geantwortet) ich hatte nichts zu essen. Sie haben die 3 Mal gesagt Essen war unterwegs, es hat nicht gekommen. Katastrophale Dienst.

Gibt leider keine Minussterne…3,5 Stunden Wartezeit, essen kalt und ungenießbar…hätte ich besser Geld verbrannt

Niemals hier bestellen! Wir haben am Telefon Essen bestellt. Nach über eineinhalb Stunden konnten wir das Lokal erst nach dem dritten Anrufen erreichen. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass sie noch nicht mit dem Kochen des Essens angefangen haben. Das ist ein unfassbar schlechter Service. Bei vielen Bestellungen kann natürlich mit einer Wartezeit zu rechnen sein, allerdings sollte man die Kunden dann auch darüber informieren. Stattdessen war dem Lokal egal, dass die Kunden enttäuscht sind. Im Endeffekt haben wir die Bestellung storniert und die Karte direkt weggeschmissen. Wir werden niemals wieder dort etwas zu essen bestellen! Am liebsten würde ich gar keinen Stern vergeben.
