Very friendly restaurant. The food was really tasty and the service left nothing to be desired.

After a long time we were guests at Ganesha again. There is a pleasant atmosphere. To the sounds of Indian music, looked after by an attentive, courteous and friendly waiter, you can enjoy delicious authentic Indian food with a delicious Kingfisher. We really enjoyed this evening and have decided to come back to this hospitable place more often.

The waiter is great, took all of our orders and then asked certain questions (prefer rice, naan, etc.), he does a great job!! The food is even better, there were 5 of us, we were all full and only paid just over €140! Gladly again :) Thank you for the lovely birthday

Today I had dinner there with a friend. The food was really tasty and the staff was very welcoming. One thing I didn't like was the air inside. For this reason I give one star less. The restaurant absolutely needs passive ventilation and fresh air can be allowed in (open the windows or separate the cooking area from the eating area. There is even a curtain on the entrance door that prevents the air from flowing in.

I recently visited Ganesha restaurant and had a mixed experience. The bhindi masala and dal makhani were just okay - flavorful but nothing extraordinary. On the other hand, the butter naan was fantastic! It was soft, warm, and complemented the dishes perfectly. Unfortunately, the tea was a letdown; it tasted bland and didn't have the robust flavor I was hoping for. Overall, I enjoyed my meal, but I’d recommend sticking to the naan and skipping the tea.

I went there twice. The first time, the food was amazing, the people were nice, and they allowed us to pay with a card. The second time was the opposite—the food was still good, but the staff weren’t as friendly. We asked to pay with a card (since we had paid with a card the last time, and they also had a sticker on the door indicating they accept card payments), but they said they only accepted cash, so we had to go to an ATM to withdraw money. My original review was 5 stars, but I’m now editing it to 3

Worst ever experience we faced here. Service and atmosphere is average but food especially south indian dishes we have never tasted such a worst mutton and chicken biriani..paying above 15€ for biriani we expect atleast a minimum level of quality and quantity wise its not enough for a small kid..really disappointed as we expected to have a good dinner in Germany.

I’m genuinely puzzled as to how this hotel has a 4-star rating. We ordered both mutton curry and biryani, and both dishes were extremely disappointing. The mutton curry was flavorless, with the mutton pieces clearly just boiled and tossed into a pre-made curry . It lacked any depth or richness that you’d expect from a well-prepared dish. The biryani was no better—it didn’t have the authentic biryani flavor and tasted like some other rice dish entirely. For a hotel with such a high rating, this experience was a huge letdown. We were left feeling very disappointed and unsatisfied.

You won’t find good Indian food here. The biryani is often dry and lacks flavor, with rice that’s either overcooked or undercooked. The mutton curry is just boiled meat mixed with pre-made spices, lacking the rich taste a proper mutton curry should have, and the same goes for the chicken curry. If they consistently serve this kind of food, the 4.7-star reviews are likely either fake or manipulated

The restaurant is filled with pretty good pictures and decorations from India, the atmosphere was pretty calm and the food was on point (Not mind blowing as well as no point to complain on anything ), tasted pretty good, the staff were also pretty good, would definitely recommend this restaurant for someone looking to get Indian food

Very good food, after the starter the weighter asked if we thought it was spicy, we both smiled and said, we only register sweetness, we gave it 0/7 spice scale. You can guess how the main dish was, we loved it, finally a restaurant that offers the authentic taste. Great food, funny and friendly waiters, great price.

There were nine of us at Ganesha today. In addition to the fact that the waitress really knew all the dishes on the menu including the corresponding number by heart, the food was extremely tasty and the service was super fast and friendly. Overall a very successful evening.

The restaurant is very close to Rudolfplatz (U), parking garage can be used under the hotel. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with 4 adults and 4 children. The menus have something for everyone. The prawns are very good and not spicy. Unfortunately the lamb was tough, but the sauce was delicious with the rice. Overall, well seasoned Indian. Although the restaurant is in the basement, it has been very warm now in summer, the interior is made of dark wood with wall paneling and carpets with Vishnu and Ganesha.

Very good place for lunch, no pre-made mixes, extremely tasty naan in several variations. The restaurant has been around for a long time, haven't been here in ages, but will now come regularly. Very good price-performance ratio.

We ate there two days in a row and despite our language barrier the staff was very patient and very understanding, gave lots of directions to help us, plus the dishes were excellent, go there without hesitation!
