L'Osteria in Lübeck

So much fun with the nice staff and the food was amazing.....Pizza is so big that you can't manage it for everyone. Definitely very tasty!!!

If I want to eat pizza, L'Osteria is my first choice! They know exactly what a pizza is and how it's made! Ambience is very comfortable, the employees are very friendly and customer-oriented. In my experience I can only recommend it!

Huge pizza. It can easily feed 2 people. The children's bolognese was also good.

The food was so late. Nothing special. Even to pag we had to wait a lot.

Delivery service has been discontinued. Eating there is not an option, the music is too loud and often too crowded. Ambiance of an Italian train station hall. It's a shame, pizza is otherwise delicious.

When we entered the restaurant, we had to wait a long time until we were assigned a table. Food as usual, very good. Ps: The knives for cutting pizza🍕, replace them often. My wife and I need both knives. I was here on vacation. So no return possible.

As a large group, we reserved a few connected tables when we arrived at this Italian restaurant's noisy evening atmosphere and it was difficult to slide down from the seats on the wall. Unfortunately, one of our pizzas was initially mixed up and had to be brought later. A general problem for me with L'Osteria is that the size of the pasta dishes cannot keep up with that of the pizzas and you only order something if you are sure that you will have leftover pizza. It sounded pretty negative so far, but everything tasted great and the waiter was very talkative and open to us at the end and when we paid, the individual prices that were paid went through quickly.

We shared a pizza for lunch. One half Caesar pizza and the other salami, ham. It was delicious, especially the Caesar dressing was delicious. However, the lettuce on the pizza was brown. It wasn't soggy or nasty, you could eat it. Which I did because we didn't have time. But why would you put that on a pizza? Was clearly visible. The lady serving was very nice. When I looked for the toilet and asked at the counter if it was downstairs, I got a "yes of course" response from the gentleman, which came across as annoyed to me. If it were that safe, I wouldn't have asked. Next time a simple yes will be enough and there will be no misunderstandings.

Worst L'osteria ever been to. Overcharged without explanation or they automatically added tip without asking. Except the service, everything is great.

Real Italian pizza. Anyone who expects this is in good hands here. Of course there is also pasta and much more. It's not too expensive either. Prices reasonable. Looks good and friendly service. Clear recommendation.

After a nice trip, my friends and I ended up at L'Osteria. I was completely satisfied with the food, but the service made the experience perfect. We were welcomed by a charming young man with good humor and a great mood. Almost every wish was met and we could be sure that all requests would be fulfilled promptly. Vilket härligt och positivt besök det blev på denna restaurang. Åt pizza som räckte till oss båda vilket servitrisen berättade redan när vi beställde. Tunn, spröd och man kunde få olika på vardera halva vilket var väldigt bra och prisvärt. Mycket gäster även en veckodag. Mycket trevlig personal. Kunde bli lite högt ljud när lokalen hade många gäster men vi bad om ett lite lugnare hörn vilket de kunde ge oss.

Like everywhere in Germany, L'Osteria is great here in Lübeck. Always busy, it's better to make a reservation, but the service is on point and the food is really tasty. Tip for the pizza, it's huge, but you can also eat it for two.

Unexpected from Losteria restaurants. Very unfriendly and domineering waitress who became so rude that she simply said “I won’t serve this table”. And kept running. The service is there to educate the customer and not just say yes and no. Too bad for Losteria

Thanks for nothing!!!! We wanted to spontaneously order two pizzas at 2 p.m. and had to be told that this wasn't possible right now, we had so much to do, and that I should have a salad. Next time I'll go to the butcher and order a cake there.

Our group of 4 spontaneously decided that we would eat at L'Osteria and it was the best decision we could have made. Although the food left nothing to be desired, it was the service that made the visit exceptional. The man was so extraordinarily likeable and talented at communication that after 10 years in my cynical cage I was finally able to break out again and enjoy life. Thanks Luigi!

Food was delicious. I had a pizza that was very large. The pizza was a bit difficult to cut with the knives as they were quite blunt.

The place is beautiful, comfortable and spacious. We came for lunch, the food was spectacular and delicious!!! The delicious and hot lasagna!!! I loved it. Mark's attention is very kind. We will return here when we visit Lubec Germany. Thanks for your attention. 5 Stars for the service

We spontaneously ended up at l'Osteria in Lübeck and were absolutely thrilled! The prices are more than fair and the pizza was simply amazing! The team was super nice and particularly child-friendly. Our repeat orders and special requests were fulfilled promptly, which made us very happy. Even though we were there shortly after the store opened and the patio filled up quickly, the service was excellent. The location right on the water is beautiful and makes eating there a special experience. We'd love to come back!

Food delicious Service great!!! Lots to do and still very good interaction with the guests. Sometimes I waited at the door a little too long... That always depends on who is on door duty at the time.

We were with you three days in a row. Although it was quite busy on the weekend, the staff was very friendly, no rush, no stress. Special thanks to Zaya! The food was on the table quickly and we enjoyed it.

We received a very warm welcome. The food was great. The pizzas are amazing. Huge, super thin and crunchy. Class. This is how I imagine a pizza! We can also recommend dessert and coffee specialties. Unfortunately there was no children's corner or anything like that, so we only had food and then quickly left with the child in it ♡

There were 9 of us, first two pizzas arrived, after 5 a salad. 12 minutes later the two children eat food and 2 minutes the rest. Two children were there and received last. With a group with children you simply cannot recommend it. What's more, you can't even understand the person sitting next to you. Unfortunately it was the same with the drinks.

My favorite restaurant in Lübeck. I like pizzas with thin crusts and high-quality toppings. In my opinion, the best pizzas in the area are here. The pasta dishes are also highly recommended. For some it may be a bit too loud in the restaurant, but I really like the lively atmosphere. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. Even though the prices have increased significantly in the last few months, I still think they are fair and reasonable. I really enjoy coming here!

A classic L'Osteria restaurant. As always, the food was delicious, the service was quick and friendly.

In summary: it was really good. Waited briefly at the entrance and was immediately assigned 2 tables to choose from. After we sat down, the cards arrived. Drinks were brought to the table quickly and we were even offered to try the wine first. Starters came nicely presented and were really good. Main courses arrived at just the right moment. It tasted great! I would like to mention the service staff in a really positive way. It was a really nice evening!

You should know that children here are forbidden to drink the water they have with them. You have to buy. That came as a surprise to me. Pizza was 4/5. Tiramisu 3/5 Friendliness 2/5

Extremely friendly and accommodating. As always, the food was quick and very tasty. Just like you know it from all L'Osterias. We had super friendly conditions. You could tell that she enjoyed her job. She served us courteously and also gave us some insider tips for our stay in Lübeck.

Typical L'Osteria, if you don't like the ambience you're generally out of place. Despite the incredible stress, we had friendly, quick service. The young man even made the salami pizza possible for a short time even though the order had already been sent.

We are from Hamburg and just wanted to eat nice and tasty food. We were treated so disrespectfully and rudely because we allowed ourselves to look for a table ourselves. Two ladies with a child and this rude employee insulted us. We were so happy that the Block House was right next door, such a nice welcome, we chose the table ourselves and, as always, great food.

There were two of us and we got a table straight away even though we hadn't made a reservation. We wanted to sit in it. The service was very attentive and nice. The food came relatively quickly and was very tasty. The drinks were delicious too. But the shop is a bit run down. The armrests on the chair were already very worn. In the women's toilet, the flush was completely torn off the wall. There were just the cables hanging around. Soap dispensers and air fresheners were covered in a thick layer of dust. We packed some of the food and took it home with us. All in one, you can do it, but you don't have to.

The food there is delicious (just like you know it from every L'Osteria). Prices were raised properly! Pizzas are huge, pasta dishes are rather small. Very loud background noise. Service staff very changeable: sometimes a bit too silly in their contact. Du-sten is ok, but a little politeness doesn't hurt, even in a restaurant chain. If I wanted a separate invoice (after even asking for it), I just put everything in one. True to the motto “the man pays”. We thought that was pretty cheeky. Conclusion: you can always do it if you want to eat what you know. Aside from the food, there are restaurants with friendlier staff.

Good value for money service and good food, but only mediocre service that tries to serve its guests quickly, but doesn't respond much to them. Key point, the phone rings for a long time, oversold and above all, keep an eye on the guests before they leave the restaurant due to a long waiting time before they can even order. External orders also wait too long and receive little attention from the service staff. Offer waiting guests a drink to pass the waiting time. Although it's still one of the best L'Osterias I've ever had the pleasure of eating in, the pasta, pizza and other things taste great in this L'Osteria, but it is very loud and I had unfriendly waiters several times, which is why I need to revise my rating. The restaurant is nicely decorated and kept clean. As in every restaurant, the prices here are great. Overall, I can still recommend this L'Osteria. I will gladly come again.

Very nicely decorated restaurant on the Trave. We ate very well for two days in a row at reasonable prices. Zaya served us and we have never experienced better service. Always friendly and very accommodating, even when we wanted to go inside from outside because of the cold during busy times. You can't do it better, Zaya. Thank you very much and see you soon.

We usually order and pick up. Works great. The pizza and the pizza rolls are awesome. Ambience deducted one point because it is quite loud inside.

Super delicious food, pasta and pizza are simply recommended. The service staff were very nice and child-friendly. There are children's portions and high chairs. Price-performance is top. We spontaneously went out for dinner at 5 p.m. and chose a place outside on the street. The restaurant is close to an intersection, but the noise is very limited.

I take back everything positive that I wrote. Last time we were scared off by an unprofessionally snotty waitress and left the restaurant. I had previously judged it more positively and we were always well served. Luckily, you don't have to put up with rude service, as the restaurants offer great alternatives.

I was allowed to wait five minutes at the entrance until I was finally noticed by the scurrying staff. There was a confirmed table reservation, but unfortunately no table was prepared and I was ultimately allowed to choose a seat that wasn't set even five minutes later. Food below average: The sauce for the Penne all'Arrabiata was a passable tomato sauce, but not spicy at all. It met my expectations of a restaurant chain. However, the pasta had a rubbery consistency that occurs when cooked pasta is kept warm for hours. I organized vinegar and oil for the side salad myself from a next table after nothing was brought. Unfortunately that was nothing and the service was completely overwhelmed. If you're really hungry, it's just ok, but for me it's the first and last time when it comes to this chain.

We were there for lunch. Everything was great - the food came quickly and was delicious (small mix-up, but it wasn't a problem). Pizza was huge and “Luigi” was a very courteous and funny waiter. We will be back!

Got a table without a reservation. The young and friendly waitress picked up drinks and food and brought the drinks quickly. After 40 minutes of waiting, she came to our table and honestly admitted that she hadn't passed on the food order and had simply forgotten it. We then waited another 20 minutes and then she brought our food and apologized again. The food was very good and after clearing up she wanted to invite us for coffee. We politely declined because of the time and wanted to pay. She finished the bill and insisted on taking one of the drinks. And even though we weren't angry, things like that can happen when we're stressed. And yes, we will definitely come back!!

The waiter Zaya Youkhan served us very well, was very friendly and conveyed a good atmosphere and also took time for older customers. Wonderful service!!!

We have been visiting the restaurant for years and it has always been like this, the food is delicious, good value for money, but why does everything always take soooooo long????

We were there when a gentleman at the next table complained because the employees had touched his dog, which was constantly in the way. The nice waitress had kindly asked and even petted the dog to take the dog to the side so that nothing happened to the dog. The gentleman didn't like that and became terribly upset. Luckily for us. We were given all the pizzas he ordered as a gift and were allowed to take them home. We have never experienced anything like this. This is our new favorite pizzeria. The service was A1.

After many years I was eating here again. Unfortunately, I have to say that I really miss the top service and excellent food of yesteryear. A pity. The good news, however, is that there is a lot of room for improvement and there is an opportunity to adapt the quality to the very high price level.

Nice atmosphere, good service, but I ate much better in a village canteen in the Oderbruch. The rigatoni with tomato sauce tastes bland (that doesn't make up for the relatively large portion), vitello tonnato with tough veal and a measly portion.

Even though we had reserved, we had to wait a long time until our order was taken. Afterwards we had to wait half an hour until our starter came and then another half hour at least until our main course came. I had ordered gnocchi, which was tasty but far too little to fill me up, and my friend had ordered a huge caprese pizza that was dripping with oil and fat (disgusting) and was missing the basil. When we asked, they said there was no more basil, although at the table next to us they said that the kitchen staff were too lazy to pick the basil! What a disgrace really! We'll never eat here again!!!

After a wonderful city trip through Lübeck, my group and I were looking for a nice place to eat, which we found in L'Osteria. Even with a group of 14 people, a place could be found for us. The restaurant is very clean, cozy and invites you to linger. The service was very friendly and nice. Despite the restaurant being full, we were also asked whether we wanted a new drink or whether we had any other wishes. The food was very tasty and already prepared. While the pasta plates were acceptable in size, you can hardly believe your eyes when it comes to the pizza. A 45cm pizza for a very acceptable price. I can warmly recommend the facility and will also visit it on my next visit to Lübeck.

Carelessly prepared pizza, the ingredients are just kind of thrown in the middle of the pizza. Too much of everything: too much salami (mettwurst - that wasn't salami..., too many onions, spicy, too loud and half of it: too expensive and not worth the money. Never again...

Super nice staff, managed to get a table despite the full house. Food was super tasty, really great. Unfortunately, there is still a star deduction because we waited a really long time for the drinks and then for the food, while guests who came quite a while after us received their orders before us.

Doesn't have to be again... Food packed together in the bag. Cleanliness also leaves something to be desired. Outside at the table everything was full of butts.
