Great atmosphere with great food. Everything is very well maintained and clean. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The prices are also appropriate for the location. Nothing is left to be desired here. Highly recommended.

We like to eat Italian here. It's nice to look out over the canal trave from the ship. Unfortunately, it is rather cold in this restaurant in winter, despite the heating being on. We got a free cappuccino after lunch. We'd love to come back.

After standing in a complete closure on the A1 for 2 hours (!!!) on the way to Lübeck today, we arrived in foggy and cold Lübeck quite annoyed. For our third visit to the Hanseatic city, I discovered the Seaside on Maps yesterday and wanted to surprise my husband with a visit there... so I guided him through the old town, a little annoyed. When we saw the ship from the outside our eyes brightened, and our mood became even better with the very friendly greeting from the waiter and the warm, friendly atmosphere inside the ship. Cappuccino to warm up, pizza salami and pizza spinaci pleased body and soul... nice thin, fresh pizza base, high quality and well topped. And for a really reasonable price in an exceptional atmosphere on a ship, the service is friendly, fast and attentive. The only small drawback were the stains of tomato sauce on the tablecloth. You saved our day today and we will definitely come back next time we are in Lübeck.

We had reserved a table and were shown to a table that was not prepared and had a dirty tablecloth. Didn't feel welcome. Food great as always, I'm there often. Service not that attentive.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Lübeck that we know. Very tasty, excellently seasoned and fresh food as well as a wide selection. The staff is friendly, attentive and always customer-oriented. The condition of the restaurant is clean and well maintained. You have a great view over the harbor. The price/performance ratio is also positive, which is still okay here. It is highly recommended to reserve a table well in advance!

We have been here several times over the last 15 years and have never been disappointed. Be it at events or just for dinner. Always a good choice!

The first and unfortunately probably the last time. Service was very friendly and accommodating but the food, yes, is a matter of taste but if I want pasta, I don't order lasagna, which is a shame. I know bruschetta to be a little different and spicier, which is a shame. The steaks, for the price, are not 180g, children's plates are more suitable, which is a shame. Unfortunately I didn't order the pizza, I would say it was upper average, so I would probably have done better with that. Drinks ok, espresso recommended, very great aroma and nice consistency. Unfortunately only a non-alcoholic type of beer. The ambience could have a bit more Italian flair, but that's personal taste. These are my very personal impressions, please try them for yourself.

We arrived about 30 minutes before the reserved time and were kindly shown to our table. We were served very friendly. Our order was taken quickly. The only thing I can complain about is the time it took for our food to arrive. However, all dishes were very tasty. Overall, Seaside is definitely worth a visit.

Was here again for dinner after a long time. Service was friendly, but unfortunately the food took over an hour even though there wasn't that much going on. Also very small portion of the main course, bruschetta starter burnt black on the edge. It was the last time for me. It's a shame I can't recommend it.

We were invited here for a birthday party in the summer. Great view & ambience from above on the deck. Very friendly service. The various appetizers, pizzas and ice cream from the buffet were all very tasty. Highly recommended.

The "Seaside" is closed until October 28, 2024 for renovation work. Unfortunately it doesn't appear on the internet.

Unfortunately I can't report anything about the food. I arrived around lunchtime and left hungry and angry after waiting 1 1/2 hours for food. I still had to pay €5 for the drink. And the kicker is actually that it was sold to me as a “goodwill” that I didn’t have to pay for the meal. Not to be outdone in terms of cheekiness. The waiter was friendly, but clearly overwhelmed. (Wrong orders delivered to neighboring tables)

A real Italian restaurant, we took carbonara, tenderloin in sauce and grilled sea bream with fries. Very tasty and fresh food. I recommend.

Delicious food directly on a ship. Service super friendly. You can eat inside as well as outside. The furnishings and seating options are a bit old, which disturbs the visual appearance. Otherwise you can recommend the Seaside.

The Seaside has been a highlight on special occasions for many years. Last night we had another special event to celebrate and this time the restaurant visit was a complete disaster. To keep it short: Waited a long time, forgot to eat, not the usual perfect service, but I don't want to go into it any further, BECAUSE: There was a bereavement in the crew and in the end we had such magical service that was originally... was not responsible for us. That made up for everything and, despite the initial annoyances, we went home happy, full, inspired and satisfied. We wish the crew all the best and would like to express our sincere condolences.

We were pleasantly surprised. We have lived very close by for 10 years. Of course, we've noticed the 'Schiff' restaurant for a long time and now we finally managed to eat there. Nice ambience. Tables covered with textile tablecloths. Super nice service. We really enjoyed the dishes we chose. The moderate prices also allowed us to enjoy a dessert and coffee. It certainly wasn't our last visit to Seaside!

Wir kennen das Lokal seit vielen Jahren und mögen es, dort mit Blick auf die Kanal-Trave zu essen. Aber das war heute wohl das letzte Mal. Der Rosé war deutlich zu warm, die Pizza in der Mitte matschig und zu wenig knusprig. Die Bedienung war aus-gesprochen langsam und musste für jeden Wunsch engesprochen werden mit ellen-langer Wartezeit. Zu allem Überfluß durften wir uns auch noch die Beschimpfungen der Machos untereinander anhören - so etwas gehört nicht vor den Gast!!!

Actually, this pizzeria was absolutely our choice for good Italian cuisine a good year ago. The prices were also still acceptable after Corona. But a lot has changed there in the last few months. Bad staff, bad food and what felt like double wine prices. 2 pizzas today Picked up and a glass of wine per person for 8.90 euros each. Total 46 euros for everything. Menu The outside should be renovated. The old prices are still there. It's a shame about this formerly good restaurant with a nice location.

Prices now overpriced. No service and bad food. It used to be better. But it's noticeably run down. It's a shame.

The food was great. The service was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere on the ship was unusual for me as a Hesse, but very nice and cozy.

The vegetarian antipasti plate was sobering (bad): two piles of arugula without a trace of dressing, a lot of olives, two wedges of melon without ham substitute, but 7 slices of bread. There is still potential for improvement!

The food was carelessly prepared. The pork fillets were practically swimming in the sauce. The taste was okay. After clearing away we weren't even asked if we would like dessert, espresso or something similar. The facility is getting old

I just thought the food was ok, but for the price it could be better. The ambience on the ship is very nice, but you constantly notice a slight vibration from the ventilation system upstairs, which is really annoying after a while.

SHAME. As a smaller wedding party, we made reservations 24 hours in advance for around 14 people at 8:00 p.m. - in one of our favorite restaurants - as a kind of interim act. First of all: The main courses were - as usual - of high quality and came almost at the same time. So the kitchen delivered well again. Unfortunately, the poor service ruined the experience and ruined our enjoyment completely. Orders were taken with a large delay - not just at our table. Drink deliveries took so long that we were left stranded for a long time. Various drinks were forgotten. Neither oil nor salt was served with the starter bread. Our criticism was simply met with: “I’ll pass it on.” No apologies, no lemonade or similar on the house. That wasn't right, SeaSide. The evening with you was simply too important for us.

We reserved a table at 5 p.m. and left at 8 p.m. without eating, except for Caprese, which was served after an hour, because after 3 hours you lose the desire to wait for food 👎 we were recommended and what can I say and never again!!!

I think the restaurant is overrated. The food was okay, nothing special but no reason to complain. The ambience is definitely the main reason why people frequent this restaurant.

As I have visited many times, this time too was beautiful. Only the general cleanliness left something to be desired in some corners.

It was a company party for our company. Super nice employees, great service, lots of opportunities to move around on the ship, eat and drink on all floors. At the bottom with a small dance floor, it was really nice.

Italian food, just as a German imagines it: good, cheap, casual... And the sophisticated dishes are something for connoisseurs of Italian cuisine. The service was typically Italian and friendly. I'm always thrilled when I'm greeted as an "old friend." I like to go there and stay longer (and eat more, to the detriment of my waist size). There is no maximum length of stay here like in other specialty restaurants. The missing 5th star in the ambience is due to the sight of the cracked window pane. Some guests don't feel "in good hands" there. Needs to be repaired! Otherwise a great restaurant, keep it up. Until next time... ciao!

Nice restaurant right on the water with delicious food and friendly service. Seating available inside and outside. The toilets are clean. There are enough parking spaces in the area.

The food 🍽️ is okay, there are definitely better pizza 🍕 and pasta 🍝 in Lübeck. The location is unique, a quaint ship ⛴️ with a historical soul. A renovation would be appropriate. The service is good, we waited a while for the food. Parking spaces are available for a fee (cash only) directly in front of the restaurant.

Very good, the pizzas remind me a lot of those at L'Atlàntida in Vilassar de Mar.

The prices are reasonable, the service is nice, and the staff is friendly.

We held our company party there. The ambience was nice. The staff very friendly and attentive. Our buffet was really very good. It was a very nice evening.

A good restaurant in a top location. We visit the restaurant from time to time and were there recently. First of all: Our waitress (blonde, glasses) was really outstanding! Very nice and accommodating! The food felt like it had deteriorated a bit in the meantime but is now quite good. Of course, the location in Lübeck city center is outstanding! Price-performance ratio is also right here!

Italian cuisine. Food was ok, unfortunately very greasy and the bruschetta was dry. Service was also ok, you were served. Cool location on the water, there was always something to see. It was clean and tidy.

Very nice location, very attentive staff! Kitchen is average, there were 12 people there, no one spoke highly of their starter, pizza/pasta or fish, it was nothing special. But the wine was very good and the coffee also tasted as you would expect from an Italian restaurant.

The stairs up are not for disabled people and the staff always go up and down is hard work...food was ok...

The food was very tasty and the service was impeccable. However, it was quite warm and loud on the lower deck. That's why next time we will reserve a table on the upper deck. It was much more pleasant there.

By far my absolute favorite restaurant. Friendly service, attentive service, the best Gorgonzola sauce ever, fantastic pasta dishes, especially the spaghetti with scampi in cognac cream sauce and, for dessert, the velvety fine zabaglione. Absolutely perfect value for money.

I was very satisfied. The food was great, had a rump steak with rosemary potatoes. The meat was juicy and tender. The service was very friendly. Unfortunately we couldn't get a spot in the sun on the deck. It is very warm and stuffy below deck when the sun is shining. Unfortunately the windows are dirty, but that can't be avoided on the water with the seagulls. If you are sensitive to noise, you shouldn't sit inside as it echoes a lot when it's full. Otherwise just pre-order. All in all, highly recommended after a stroll through the old town. 🥰👍

Einer meiner Lieblingsitaliener. Tolles Ambiente auf einem Alten Schiff. Zu empfehlen sind Calamares, die Muschel die Salate und natürlich auch Pasta und Pizza….

Cousinchen Treffen...nach über 2 Jahren mal wieder...wir waren heute zu viert... Wir hatten zum 18.00 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert... Nach innigem Hallo...wurde uns der Tisch zugewiesen... Wir hatten einen Tisch genau am Tresen,was aber gar nicht störte ... Auf dem Tresen standen große Gläser mit eingemachten Anti pasti und Karaffen mit verschiedenen Öl... Der Keller,...wenn man das noch sagen darf...lach...Restaurant Fachmann brachte uns die Menükarten und fragte nach unserem Getränke Wunsch... Nach kurzer Zeit hatten wir uns entschieden was jeder gerne essen wollte... Die Getränke kamen schnell und zügig,das Essen dauerte auch keine 1/2 Stunde,bis wir es serviert bekamen... Wir hatten uns für die Vorspeisen Platte und Spagetti napoli entschieden... Die Mädels Wein und für mich wieder stilles Wasser... Wie gerne hätte ich mir auch 1 Wein 🍷 zum Essen bestellt, leider kann ich ihn nicht immer noch nicht trinken,seit der OP spielen meine Geschmacks nerven...Tango... Nun ja...es geht dann auch ohne...nützt ja nix... Die Vorspeisen Platte und auch die Spagetti napoli sahen sehr ansprechend und appetitlich aus und schmeckten auch hervorragend... Ich hatte mir unter anderem von uns auch die Vorspeisen Platte bestellt...da ich sie hier noch nie gegessen habe... Ausserdem ist es gut für mich verschiedene Sachen durch zu probieren,was ich essen kann umd was nicht... Ich hatte gebratene Auberginen ...auch mit Käse und Tomaten, herzhafter Wurst überbacken...Hartkäse...sehr schmackhaft und würzig, Serano Schinken mit Honig Melone 🍉,verschiedene Oliven... und im Schälchen mit dem Salatblatt...rote Oliven...höllisch scharf... auch die Art Salami...war mir eindeutig zu scharf...Peperoni...und und und... Der Service war wirklich sehr aufmerksam und hat zwischendurch immer mal gefragt,ob wir noch einen Wunsch hätten...so bestellt man doch gerne noch was dazu... Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt...und kommen bestimmt gerne mal wieder... Von Herzen gerne 5 Sterne 🌟...
