Little India – Schnellimbiss in Mannheim

I have ordered here several times through Wolt, it has always been delicious and well packaged.

It's a small cozy place with a couple of tables, but food tastes autentic like in India! Would recommend highly!

Very Bad taste of food and very bad customer service, really rude behaviour.

Very disappointing. We had ordered a palak paneer and a bhindi. Unfortunately, without exaggerating, there was only one piece of paneer in the palak paneer and the bhindi was unfortunately totally salty.

Absolutely frustrated with the dining area. It was not clean, and the smell of waste was continuously triggering as it was near the dining area. We ordered mango lassi, chicken tikka malai, plain naan, and roti. The food was very poor in taste, and we couldn't even finish it. Especially, the chicken tikka malai was horrible, and the mango lassi had more water than mango pulp. In the end, when we tried to pay by card, it didn't work. Initially, we were told it was possible to pay by card, but in the end, neither the credit card nor the German bank ATM card worked. Not recommended, and we have no plans to go there again.

So I just have to get excited now. Your food is good. I really like ordering from you because the food is good and you deliver quickly. It's clear that we're neighbors, so to speak. But the fact that your drivers DIDN'T even have reasonable change really upsets me. It's not my problem if your drivers can't change. Get it sorted. What's the problem with handing the driver a wallet or requiring drivers to have their own change with them? Unable!

Not at all good. We ordered one chicken curry and one veg thaali Chiken curry is mixture of tomottoe sause & alredy boiled chiken pieces.It was disaster. Veg thaali was ok ok.Not great.

Amazing Indian cuisines, samosa chaat being the most delicious and authentic one. Fast delivery.

The food is very tasty, but the delivery is always a hassle. Always 30-60 minutes later than announced.

Attention: Delivery times 1 - 1 1/2 hours! The food is really delicious, but the delivery time is completely unacceptable. We were promised a delivery time of 30 minutes on the phone. After 50 minutes we called again and were told that the driver was on the way and would be with us in 15 minutes. It was delivered again 40 minutes later, so a total of 1 1/2 hours. The only excuse was “there was a lot of traffic on the way out of the city center”. We have ordered there several times and the food arrived after 55 minutes at the earliest, but the delivery time today really topped everything (in a negative sense).

The most authentic Indian Fast Food place I have eaten so far in Europe. Try the Thalis to get the most out of it! After some months of closure, my favourite lunch place is open again with consistent food quality

Wow, that was terrible. It was called "Butter Chicken" and tasted like watery marinara sauce. 8 bites of chicken. What a disaster.

This is one of the best Indian restaurant in Heidelberg or Mannheim area. Their price is much cheaper than other Indian restaurants. I personally recommend their veg thali. In 7.9 euros they offer rice, dal, palak paneer, gobi sabji, and raita.

I had very tasty Tahli Mix, a mixed platter with chicken and vegetables. I'm inexperienced when it comes to Indian food, but it tasted delicious. Especially the butter chicken in its sweet sauce was very good. At €9.50 for such a large portion you can't complain. What I found to be a shame is that there were unfortunately no individual bowls for the different dishes, but rather a stainless steel plate with dividers (gave me a bit of prison vibes). It's more of a takeaway than a restaurant because there are really few seats. Nevertheless, I'll be back! The employees are very nice and friendly.

Good food and nice thali options. We ordered Samosa, Malayi kofta, Shahi panner, and garlic naan. Samosa were good. Malayi kofta was awesome, I highly recommend it. Shahi panner has not matching with any Indian Shahi panner I have ate. It was just tomato pure and some panner chunks. Taste was quite bland. Untill they change the recipe I would not recommend this. Normal naans are awesome. I highly recommend it. It's freshly made and good. But when we ordered garlic nan they smeared garlic paste on top of the naan. I would not recommend it.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered chicken curry and butter chicken with naan bread. Unfortunately, what we got had nothing to do with Indian cuisine! The meat was neither pickled and marinated nor properly fried with Indian spices - simply chicken breast simmered a bit. The accompanying “sauce” for the curry was just oil and a bit of curry spice, in the consistency of a soup! The butter chicken then was the biggest outrage! Penny tomato soup with pieces of meat, nothing more! It really tasted like tomato soup, no spices, no creamy cream sauce, not thick. Sorry, but anyone can look up the recipe to see how it looks and tastes. That really didn't work at all! Guys, you represent your country, culture and food, you can't just slap something there - and we really tried restaurants a lot and cooked ourselves. The naan bread came in a plastic bag, you can now think about what warm bread tastes like after it has sweated in a bag and become soggy. There was not even a hint of the garlic to be tasted anywhere. We've given the store a chance twice now, but don't do that to yourself, you can get something good elsewhere for that price!

Cheap and tasty Indian food. Great for quick bites and hunger. They have 2 tables for dining in however take out is recommended. Tried their Veg thali and samosa. It was great.

Second best Indian restaurant in Mannheim, Ultimate place for lots of quick bite available , a genuine Indian taste. Chola bhatura is my favourite and Special thali is awesome. Walking distance from central Mannheim market.

It's an average restaurant. Seating capacity is limited. Self-service. Food tastes ok, not that great. Food is moderately priced.

Veg thali is one of my favourites. I also enjoy the convenience of ordering online due to the small restaurant's limited seating capacity. The veg thali is freshly cooked and always arrives hot - making it all the more enjoyable! Samosa and aloo paratha are must-tries too.

Hier gibt es wirklich ausgezeichnete indische Küche. Besonders hervorheben muss man die Samosas!

Delicious food and very nice service! The butter chicken was spicy but not too much, making it just perfect. The cheese pakora was also very tasty, as was the mango lassi.

Die Portionen sind sehr groß und der Geschmack und die Qualität des Essens hat mit positiv überrascht, dafür, dass es ein Schnellimbiss ist. Das Essen war schnell vorbereitet und die Mitarbeiter waren Freundlich. Ich würde es weiterempfehlen, besonders falls man nicht so viel Zeit hat.

Ich habe online bestellt, das Essen kam in angegebenen Zeit. Das Brot war sehr zäh und das Butter Chicken ein Hähnchenbruststück in Tomatensauce, hatte wenig mit gutem Butter Chicken zu tun. Alles in allem werde ich nicht nochmal da bestellen.

Haben heute dort essen abgeholt. Das Essen war sehr lecker, vor allem das Fleisch schmeckt klasse. Die Mitarbeiter waren auch sehr nett. Definitiv zu empfehlen 😊

Super leckere Speisen und sehr preiswert. Es schmeckt einfach alles ob Thali, Palak Paneer, Samosa, Cheese Pakora, Ras Malaj, Gulab Jamon. Einfach empfehlenswert.

Lieferung hat fast 1 Stunde länger gedauert, als angegeben (bei Uber Eats). Essen war in Ordnung, aber absolut nicht auf Restaurant-Niveau, deshalb passt der Begriff „Imbiss“ sehr gut, nur eben nicht „schnell“. Das Garlic Naan war in Ordnung, hat leider nur fast garnicht nach Knoblauch geschmeckt, ich würde nicht nochmal bestellen.

Das Essen war heute leider gar nicht so gut. Nachdem es nach den ersten Stücken meines Aloo Paratha zwischen meinen Zähnen knirschte und ich ein Stück Kohle ausspucken musste, habe ich erst einmal 10min damit verbracht, die Kohlereste von meinem Essen abzukratzen, bis es unter meinen Fingernägeln schwarz war. Sowohl mein Gericht als auch das meines Freundes waren heute für unseren Geschmack deutlich zu scharf und somit schwer zu genießen. Wir hatten dort auch schon Essen, das deutlich weniger scharf war. Insgesamt waren wir heute eher unzufrieden, aber da das Essen auch schon mal gut war, gibt es wenigstens 3 Sterne.

This is the only place in the region that offers authentic Indian cuisine. Everything that they offer is amazing. I would suggest everyone to try Thali Mix, Samosa chaat and Mango Lassi.

Also nicht wirklich zu empfehlen.. Es ist eher ein Lieferdienst, sprich "Ambiente " nicht vorhanden. Essen war nicht gut, also man konnte es schon essen, aber es gibt definitiv andere Indische Lokale, die um Welten besser sind!

Food is authentic and economical.

A small Indian joint with limited seating. There was enough seats around when we went. The samosa chat we tried was yummy, with chopped green chillies on top for extra spiciness.

The food : Yum!! The place is small but the people are amazing!

Kleiner und gemütlicher Laden. Der Lieferservice ist auch zu empfehlen. Das Essen hat vor Ort und auch per Lieferservice immer sehr gut geschmeckt.

Authentisches leckeres Essen! Perfekt abgeschmeckt und schmeckt alles sehr frisch, das verhältnisse Fleisch zu Reis ist ideal! Mit der Lieferzeit gibt es auch keine Probleme, ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden und werde öfter dort bestellen! Die Portionen sind groß, so groß das es fast schon für 2 mal essen reicht!

Das Essen war wie immer super. Wir haben schon öfter mit Lieferung bestellt. Nun hatten sich Gäste angekündigt. Wir haben somit das Essen für 18:00 Uhr bestellt. Das Essen wurde 45min nach Bestellung geliefert (ca. 15:45 Uhr). Da die Gäste erst gegen 18:00 Uhr kommen, ist das Essen bis dahin kalt. Haben es dann selbst aufgewärmt etc., aber trotzdem total enttäuscht vom Service diesmal. Geschmacklich super!

Das Essen war gut , aber der besondere Kick hat gefehlt. Die Preise sind in Ordnung, der Service etwas langsam.

Gutes, solides Indisches Restaurant mit fairen Preisen! Große Auswahl an Currys, sowohl vegetarisch und mit Hänchen und Lamm.

Chicken Tikka Masala bestellt für 8,90 EUR. Es waren nur zwei kleine Bröckchen Fleisch drin. Für Reis mit Sause ist das viel zu teuer, auch wenn die Sauce lecker war. Wir hatten das ganze noch mit Lamm, da waren ca. 6-7 Stückchen Fleisch drin. Wird nicht nochmal bestellt..

Respecto a una entrega. Tardaron más de 2 horas y cuando nos llamaron para averiguar qué estaba pasando, básicamente nos mintieron diciendo que nos lleva dos horas llegar del centro de la ciudad a Lindenhof. Además de eso, el conductor nos dijo que no ordenáramos de nuevo y fue horriblemente grosero. Confía en mí, no volveré a ordenar de este establecimiento. Más que frustrante. La señora del teléfono era agradable, pero ni siquiera intentó por lo menos compensar la comida ni nada. Habría sido lo menos que podrían haber hecho. ¡Evitar! ! ! !
