Good, delicious food. Many vegetarian and (undeclared) vegan dishes. But the resourceful vegan recognizes this. What annoyed us personally a bit, but that's a personal opinion, were the very steaming/roasting dishes, which made the rather small dining room very smokey. But that's really complaining at a high level🫣🙂

I've been visiting there since last 2 years at many times & every time food and drinks were delicious. Would like to give an extra star to Service and Staff behaviour. It is always welcoming & you will feel friendly there. Joy's interpersonal skills are too good and during one instance, he handled an unwanted guests in a way good manner. Ajsar is always soft, sweet and too quick to respond. Most people love to go there again and again due to good food and Staff response.

If you're a vegetarian with tons of onions in your food, this is definitely the right place for you. But anyone who relies on the contents of the menu will be disappointed! There is no response in the restaurant to such complaints! In this specific case, I ordered a dish with lamb and peppers. A pot was served with the contents of approx. 10% peppers, 10% meat, 40% sauce, and another 40% onions! However, according to the menu, onions were not part of the dish. When the waitress complained that there were a lot of onions in the food and that they weren't on the menu, the answer was "yes" No apology or we will correct the mistake. It may be that peppers and meat were no longer available in the required quantity due to the late hour. But filling the whole thing with onions without asking is actually not possible!!! There are two stars because the rice and sauce were quite good.

Fully Vegetarian couple this side. Dal Makhni was good. Shahi Paneer was so sweet that we could have it for dessert.

I can't understand the very good reviews here at all. If I could, I would give 0 stars. Today I ordered a chicken curry with garlic nan and chicken chili masala via Lieferando. The delivery only arrived after almost 2 hours and was cold. It was previously said on the phone that the driver had gotten lost and would be on his way soon... only then did the Lieferando app show that the food was on the way. So I was even lied to? Apart from that, the curry was totally oily and had a soup-like consistency, the nan was soggy and tasted absolutely miserable, as was the masala. The “packaging” was in a simple plastic bag with no heat-retaining insulation. The price for such a loveless, bad meal is absurdly high! For 2 dishes with a side dish I paid €44.90 including delivery costs! Stay away from this restaurant!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The delivery took over 2 hours and then the food had nothing to do with Indian food. The chicken curry was just oily and a mess and the chicken chili masala was absolutely carelessly prepared, sour and didn't taste like much else. We also ordered Garlic Nan and it was just sour! Never experienced anything like this! I can only recommend it to everyone.

Having visited many times over the years at the place, especially their lunch buffet is full and rich with various choices of vegetables and chicken. Over my visits , the food is served on the heating system COLD. The nahn bread felt like a stone on my teath. In total it's a nice place with lovely cosy food, however it seems that their buffet ovens are not heating up the food.

Wir fanden es überhaupt nicht überzeugend. Die Speisen sind nicht gekennzeichnet mit scharf, sehr scharf usw. so hatten wir dann Garnelen die waren so etwas von scharf, dass man überhaupt kein Geschmack mehr hatte. Hier wurde wahrscheinlich Chillipulver oder ähnliches auf die Garnelen gegeben, da diese dann sehr rot waren. Auch die anderen Gerichte haben uns vom Geschmack und der Qualität nicht überzeugt. Wir haben gelesen, dass dieses Restaurant schon sehr lange dort ist. Hier sollte man vielleicht auch mal an die Toiletten denken, die dringend eine Renovierung notwendig hätten. Das ganze Restaurant macht irgendwie einen runtergekommenen Eindruck.

[07/02/2024] Lunch buffet for €13.90 including a small drink. There was rice, dal soup, palak paneer, dal makhini, chicken kahari, chicken tikka, salad, papadam, bread, various sauces and dessert. The dishes are likely to change depending on what is left from the previous day. That's the basic principle of a buffet, offering the previous day's food at a discount, and that's probably what most people do. Then it's a win-win situation! Also completely fine by the health department! When I was the first customer there, THE FOOD WAS COLD! The warming plates then heat up the food! The door wasn't opened until 11:45. The best Indian food outside India? Maybe in Mannheim. However, I had the best Indian food in Frankfurt. All in all quite OK. [07/08/2024] THE FOOD WAS COLD, so because of their claim to the contrary, deduct one star from four to make three! It's a shame actually!...

The food is not that okay for the price. You have to wait quite a long time for the food (40-45 minutes). The ambience is, let's say, not that appealing... Wouldn't recommend for the price.

Food is not even Indian but selling it as Indian. They give lentil rice like thing in the name of biriyani. Just waste of time and money. Customer serice is really poor. They won't even answer you responsibly to you even after a long waiting time

Eating on site is ok. The food is great... When you're there. When you order, an additional waiting time of over 30 minutes is not uncommon. The record was 1 hour. We are currently waiting for our food again. According to the service lady on site, it's not ready yet... We ordered at 6 p.m. for 8:15 p.m. It's currently 8:45 p.m. and the food, as mentioned, isn't even ready yet... then he still has to deliver it. It's not right back and forth. Except for a sorry gesture, not even an apology gesture in the form of a small dessert or finger food like from other restaurants. The boss probably wouldn't be there either... you can believe it, but you don't have to. Because he is always present in his shop and even asks the guests whether everything was OK. We won't be ordering from here again (at least not for delivery) after eating here at least 6 times a year! Very unfortunate...

Very much spicy food is difficult to digest.

I am giving one star for the kind service, but hands down, this was the worst Indian food we had in our entire lives. The quality of the material is so bad that it shows in the taste.

Just visited this place. Ambience and sevice is good. However, they are making food for Germans i.e. very mild and sweet. Paneer doesn't taste like paneer.I will not recommend this for Indians. Price for lunch buffet is 13.90 € , not bad though.

Unfortunately we had to wait an hour for our food and then it wasn't seasoned enough. The rice tasted like it did at home, but that's not why I go out to eat.

An Indian who lives up to his name. Delicious food and m.e. everything is also freshly prepared. Friendly and good staff. The Nahn bread, among other things, is simply great. As far as I could see, you also have buffet times. However, the furnishings and toilets are rather rustic.

I ordered aloo gobi and gobi was not tender it was very hard even it was difficult to cut with spoon. Taste was below average.

On my short stay in Mannheim I tried their dal tarka, mutter paneer and roti.Although food were pricey compared to UAE but the taste was awesome and delicious. Quantity is enough for two people. Only thing they didn’t provide utensils with take away or maybe it’s norm here. They accept credit card and cash. Highly recommend.

Choosing the buffet on a weekday proved disappointing. The vegetarian curry seemed to be leftovers with an unpleasant odor, and the lone chicken starter, though fresh-looking, was undercooked. Fortunately, the naan, dal, and lassi stood out as the only enjoyable components of the meal.

Have visited it occasionally in the past year and found it having the best veg biryani taste. I particularly like the curry base that they prepare. It's delicious compared to numerous other Indian restaurants.

This restaurant is a true Indian food gem in Mannheim and Heidelberg. The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. The chef is happy to customize your order if you let them know in advance. The Chilly Paneer in Indian spicy style, Naan, and Grill Chicken are all delicious. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, you have to try this place. Enjoyable food from wide varied menu. A few minutes from the main (Hbf) railway station and hotels. English on menu but limited speaking. Slightly disappointed that a complimentary popadum often provided in Germany was not forthcoming. They also offer a lunchtime buffet on weekdays.

Food was not indian type, service was terrible, rice not served with curry until asked, drinks served without gas, dry basmati rice served, one of the worst kheema naan tasted ever, asked mutton palak and served chicken palak, when asked dont even asked an excuse

Ich komme schon viele Jahre gerne zum Essen zu euch und es ist auch immer sehr lecker. Leider habe ich mir dieses Mal jedoch eine böse Lebensmittelvergiftung eingefangen. Das kann sicherlich mal passieren und ich werde definitiv auch wieder kommen. Evtl. war das Hähnchen nicht ganz durchgegart oder ein paar der Lebensmittel waren nicht mehr ganz frisch. In der Hoffnung, dass ihr euch das konstruktiv gemeinte Feedback zu Herzen nehmt, bis zum nächsten Mal.

Man kunne nemt have gjort lidt mere ud af anretningen feks ikke overfyldt skålene som maden blev serveret i. Betjeningen var venlig og imødekommende. Stället kändes som en ganska vanlig indisk restaurang men blev överraskad av att maten låg långt över mina förväntningar. Tandoorin var perfekt!
