Great food. Just a small drawback. The sour cream in the oven potatoes contains too much mayonnaise. Otherwise everything is good.

This place should be closed!! We ate here at the weekend (and are regulars too) - had the Tacos Fermoso. 6 hours later I was in the hospital after vomiting profusely for half the night. Chills, fever, double vision. The diagnosis in the hospital: food poisoning. Same with my friend. Except he could sit it out on the toilet at home. To be honest, no matter how many times we've been here, THAT'S not possible. The shop should be closed immediately. Calls over the next few days to alert the restaurant to the fact that there was apparently no hygiene in their kitchen were also unsuccessful. Nobody answers the phone. Something like this should be given to the responsible public order office together with the report from the doctor...

We have been regular guests for decades. The food is always at the same level, the service is very on point and the boss Claudia always takes time for her guests. A must go for us. Reservations are strongly recommended as it is very busy.

Food is mediocre to snack quality, service takes a long time, drinks only come after 45 minutes, the food after 1.5 hours. Have slacked off a lot.

If you want to eat Mexican in Nuremberg, you can't avoid El Mexicano. Fantastic, original food, humane prices, super friendly service. An absolute recommendation. The restaurant was already great when it was still called Tabasco, and as we found out today, it is probably still the head chef from back then. The corn on the cob is a poem, the garlic butter is definitely homemade, and the mixed platter with enchilada, taco, beans and baked potatoes almost exceeded our capacity. The Buttenheimer beer also goes great with it. And if you pay under 65 euros for two people including drinks, then you really can't fault it. Please go everyone so that this jewel can be preserved for another 25 years.

There is very tasty food here and it is usually quick to get the food. However, it is best to make a reservation or arrive as early as possible. If you are early, you may not be able to sit there for long because the next guests who have reserved arrive. This has never been a problem for us as we just eat and then leave straight away.

The food is not Mexican, it's a version of tex-mex food. I wouldn't recommend it if You want to experience Mexican food. The prices were too expensive.

Very nice restaurant. The food was very tasty. In my opinion, this restaurant has a very large selection of dishes compared to some other restaurants... which slimmed down their menu a lot after Corona. However, if you want to visit the place on a Friday evening, I would recommend coming by public transport. Finding a parking space is very difficult. Lots of resident parking!!

Actually a nice shop with delicious food...but it was my second time eating there on New Year's Eve...to my surprise, I didn't think about it, the same menu as last year...but it still tasted good regardless. I had the feeling that an effort had been made last year...the waitresses were very smartly dressed in a traditional way...and even back then I would have liked authentic music (Spanish/Mexican) to round it off...and no radio Antenne Bayern Müll...something again this year was the case. You come in to the fiery Mexican and Michael Jackson is singing from the speakers 👎

Sehr leckeres Essen, die Mitarbeiter auch sehr freundlich. Bei dem Essen wird man auf jeden fall satt :) und was auch immer das für ein Tequila am Schluss ist, ist sooo lecker

Das Essen war sehr gut und das Preis Leistungsverhältniss war gut. Der Service war sehr nett. Man hat auch ohne Reservierung einen Tisch für zwei Personen bekommen und das zur Zeit der Weihnachtsfeiern, fand ich super.

Schönes Lokal, sehr nettes Service Personal, Essen ist lecker, aber es fehlt leider etwas das Spiel mit dem Gewürz, um wirklich authentisch zu sein.

Wir waren schon eine sehr lange Zeit nicht mehr da. Essen nach wie vor super! Menge und Preis im Einklang. Bedienung sehr nett . Die Auswahl an Speisen ist grandios. Wenn man in Nürnberg ist auf alle Fälle ein Besuch wert, wenn mal was anders Essen möchte. Macht weiter so wir kommen gerne wieder ! Zu empfehlen als Nachspeise Hot Mango!

Sehr guter Mexikaner, tolles Essen in einem super schönem Lokal! Wir hatten ein Geburtstagskind dabei und es wurde vom Personal gesungen und ein kleiner Kuchen und etwas zum anstoßen gebracht, das war sehr, sehr nett! Zeitweise wartet man schon sehr lange auf ein Getränk, gerade am Anfang, aber darüber kann man bei so einem tollen Laden auch mal hinwegsehen. 😄

Ich war nach über 25 Jahren mal wieder beim Mexikaner, das Lokal hat sich kaum verändert. Das Essen ist immer noch sehr gut 👍 Ich habe Spare Ribs gegessen, die waren immer noch so lecker wie damals. Auch meine Frau und Freunde die dabei waren, waren sehr zufrieden. Da gehen wir mit Sicherheit wieder hin. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Honestly speaking i do not understand the rating they have. This is definitely not a Mexican food restaurant. Food was extremely oily and without spices ( and i do not eat very spicy in general). Tortillas were super bad quality. Friendly staff & good Margherita. Overall: I do not recommend it for food. For drinks, yes

Freundliches Service, sehr professionell. Schnelle Bedienung. Leckeres Essen, Auswahl ist groß, super Speisekarte. Alle Speisen waren gut serviert auf den Tellern und alles war frisch und warm. Getränke wurden auch wunderschön vorbereitet. Gute Preise. Schöne Atmosphäre. Gerne wieder

Wartezeit auf die Getränke 45 Minuten! Fleisch war totgebraten (Fleischplatte). Vorspeisenplatte Mexico aber empfehlenswert.

Essen war sehr gut. Service war auch prima. Ambiente ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Es war auch leider extrem heiss und leider waren die Ventilatoren aus.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Super nette Bedienung und sehr gutes Essen. Auch unser Hund war willkommen. Ein gelungener Abend! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke Euch

Wir waren gestern endlich wieder dort. Nach wie vor für uns der beste Mexicaner in Nürnberg. Das Essen einfach super lecker und der Service sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Besser geht es nicht und wir kommen immer wieder gerne.
