Haven't been in years. Warm welcome. Service is amazing. Beers and drinks are cold and refreshing. Outstanding place.

And whether I can recommend Nate's Yummy Scrummy Calexico Foodparadies - it was wonderful. When it comes to namesake Nate, we don't just come in because of the food, but because of Nate himself and his tac orgasm as a whole concept. It's loud and colorful, plenty of West Coast Punk, some wrestling, graffiti and stickers, plus a good amount of pop culture and a certifiable Batscher - it's all here! The dishes, we count around 15 varieties of tacos, enchiladas and the like, are available with chicken as well as vegetarian, with beef but also with cactus. When we order, Nate gives us a plastic card with the name and likeness of a little-known celebrity. When the food is prepared for us, Nate bleats the name of our B-celebrity across the room and we pick it up at the counter, receive a short, humorous complimentary comment from Nate and serve ourselves the food. And we really enjoyed the food. Because it was more Mexican than many other sombrero shops. The guacamole was really tasty, the refried beans would have been worthy of any truck stop in Albuquerque and the chili is subtly described as 'Ringburner'. Real Calexico, instead of hand-tamed system catering, you know. I justify the only missing star by saying that I generally imagine a main course with some kind of garnish. Not just a block, no matter how good the block tastes. We didn't have dessert or coffee on the list, but the lemonade and local and spooky beers were more than enough.

Such a cool and hidden gem! Everyone was really cool, the place has a great vibe, and the tacos were AMAZING! Priced perfectly (especially on Taco Tuesday) at €2,50/ea for street tacos, you really can’t beat them!

Dude. Best food, drinks, concept and time to spent here with friends. Owner and staff are super cool too. On a food-tinder platform I’d swipe right. Already looking forward to coming back and next time I’ll take some spicy pics of the food and drinks.

Cool spot and nice food. Concept of putting your used plates / cutlery in a box on the way out needs a look at. Paying €15/20 for a burrito and serving yourself isn’t really something I’d be up for trying again.

We like the place very much. The food is delicious, everyone will find something to their liking. I love Death Valley style with extra hot sauce. And the frozen margheritas are great. You just have to come to terms with the fact that English is spoken and it's basically a local SB

Love crazy Nate’s, Nate and Andy. Go for trivia every month and will never say no to going any other time. The margaritas are the best. The spicy sour cream is delish. Such a great neighborhood hang out.

Crazy Nates is simply one of the places for excellent tacos in Nuremberg. Fresh, delicious, juicy. What more could you want from a taco? No matter what combination you eat and how - you will definitely have a real treat here. My personal favorite is the street taco with tofu or cactus. Plus homemade chili sauces in different levels of spiciness, but also with different flavors - simply a must! The service is very simple. A counter. Everything is ordered there. You get a card with a famous person and as soon as the name is heard the food is ready. But we also have to emphasize the friendliness and sympathy of the staff! Just don't expect table service. Personally, the ambience doesn't always appeal to me. 90s vibe, skateboards, VHS cassettes, snowboards as benches. Crazy American style. But if you like that, you're in good hands here. All in all - always worth a visit! Especially on Taco Tuesday, i.e. Tuesdays.

We recently moved back to Germany and Crazy Nate’s has become my kids favourite place. Love the food and how friendly everyone is.

Hier kann man die perfekte authentische TEX/MEX Küche geniessen. Es war ein echt cooler Abend,alle waren glücklich! Mein Burrito (Death valley style) war genau richtig,ordentlich scharf und geschmacklich perfekt. Für die Kinder war das Essen (quessedillas beef,tacos beef) sehr lecker und auch nicht zu scharf.Preislich bewegt es sich hier in einem überschaubaren Rahmen,nur 4€ für ein Helles würden auch reichen(5€). Vielen Dank für den lockeren und entspannten Abend.

Came here once and was hooked ever since. Amazing burritos and quesadillas. Whether they are traditional I don’t know but damn are they good. My personal recommendation would be the Long Beach burrito with extra pickled onions inside. But for real. The staff is amazing and very engaging. The food tastes amazing. It is a bit more on the expensive side but well worth every penny. It’s always warm, fresh, filled with love and hits just the right spot in your heart that makes you feel warm and at home.

Good California Mexican food. Taco's were delicious, and the Nachos with chicken and cheese were good and filling. Margaritas hit the spot. Definitely give Nate's a try if you're looking for authentic Mexican food.

This is the best mexican food I have had in Bayern. The frozen margaritas are great. All menu items are really good. However, it is a bit pricey (worth the money tho)

We didn't like the food. At the end of the day, however, it's a matter of taste. What is not a matter of taste, however, is the constant diarrhea that my girlfriend and I had for the next 2 days. Never experienced anything like this. It wasn't cheap either. I ended up paying €50 for being subjected to negligent bodily harm. Thanks for nothing. P.S. The Bre who took the order was cool.

Cool atmosphere with snowboards on the benches. The Housemade Pink Lemonade is delicious! We were completely full after the burritos, even though the portion size didn't look like it at first. Only the surcharge of 1.50 - 2.50 for additional guacamole or sour cream in the burrito is not in proportion to the price.

Delicious! Nachos Grande for €11 is a lot - and delicious. Just like the tacos and the keto bowl. Rounded off with delicious magarita. All for not a lot of money. To recommend!

For the first and certainly not the last time at Crazy Nate. Super tasty Mexican food, you order at the counter, there's good music playing, the mainly younger people are in a good mood and the casual decor is also epic. The bonus: there is gluten-free food here even for people with celiac disease. Nuremberg still has far too little to offer. Thumbs up 🤘🏻

The nachos and tacos are amazing! The Street Stile Tacos taste authentically Mexican. :) The burritos are not to our taste, a bit too soggy.

First things first: There are fantastic Californian-Mexican burritos, tacos and other delicious gimmicks here, which makes eating really fun! Every dish and recipe is unique, and even West Coast natives say they rarely find this level of quality in burritos. There's probably nowhere else like this in Europe. It's not an exaggeration at all to say that people actually often come to Crazy Nate's from miles away, from many neighboring towns and cities. The atmosphere is a strange, hard-to-describe mix of 80s retro stuff, Godzilla monsters, toy robots, kung fu movies and Mexican lucha libre, skater and punk rock culture. Accordingly, the music in the background is usually canceled. The furnishings are simple but efficient, and every piece of furniture definitely feels second-hand and very "do it yourself." Of course, this is something you need to know, and not everyone will be able to fully understand or enjoy the concept. Colorful, loud, youthful and non-conformist.

One of my favorite places to eat in Nuremberg. I religiously eat here once a week. Their burritos are to die for. Highly recommend. Why 4 starts you may ask? It happened too often that I went to order close to closing time and they had no more food left. Which is great for them but sucks for me 😝

We arrived 30 minutes early as we had mistimed our journey, we were worried we would have to wait but we were welcomed in straight away with no fuss. The food, drinks (homemade frozen margaritas are the one) and service (the staff were absolutely hilarious and really friendly and accommodating) were amazing. We actually had a couple of Mexican meals whilst we were staying in Nuremberg, and hands down Nate’s was the absolute best!!

Crazy Nate's is an authentic eatery with a great atmosphere. The food is not only great, but also very authentic. The tacos on Taco Tuesday are particularly outstanding - a real treat! The selection of ingredients and the preparation leave no doubt that the cooking here is done with passion. We were thrilled with the quality and taste of the food. The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of the delicious cuisine at Crazy Nate's. Five stars - absolutely deserved!

Great authentic Californian-Mexican food. Burritos, tacos, quesadillas. Plus great salsas (Chipotle, Hot, Hot Hot and Verde) Plus punk rock, wrestling videos and really nice staff.

Good Mexican food, quick service. Problem is the place is small, if many people come. We had to sit with another people, but it was ok. No waiter, you have to pick up the food and then bring the dirty dishes. Everything was tasty and fresh. The place is really loud, feels like a pub.

Definitely cool for young people - too loud for us in places. We didn't eat, so we can't rate it. Otherwise we had 2 beers and space. The owner is super nice and you feel like you're in good hands. Next time we'll try the food - so we'll be back ;-)

As someone who is from Texas, I was highly disappointed by this place when I got there. Leading up to it I was somewhat excited to go, hearing that it was Baja Mexican food. When I got there I was met with a very plain menu of burritos, some tacos, and misc other items. But somehow this "Baja" restaurant missed one of the biggest staples of the cuisine, QUESO. How does any self respecting restaurant that is literally only serving Mexican food not have queso??? I got a San Francisco burrito, it was sub par. Tasted bland, and the addition of their sauces didn't do a damn thing for the taste. We got chips with our order, and those tasted like they came out of a bag 3 weeks ago. A $8 margarita was in a glass that seemed smaller than a normal cocktail... Bottom line, don't waste your money or time. Seems they reported my last review, probably don’t like having an actual honest review.

Love this spot when I come to Nuremberg. Great food in a fun vibrant atmosphere. I have travelled all over Europe and this is the closest to authentic tacos you will find. On this visit I ordered: 2 pork street tacos 2 chicken “crazy Nate’s style” tacos 1 bean taco Loved the cabbage on the chicken tacos. The pork was juicy and not over cooked, straight up great carnitas. The green salsa is a must try.

Wirklich einmaliges Ambiente. Allerdings hat es ein wenig muffig/komisch gerochen. Außerdem sprach der Mitarbeiter nur Englisch. Für uns war das ok, aber das könnte andere Gäste abschrecken. Das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch und kam schnell. Besonders interessant war, dass man Kaktus auf Tacos bestellen kann. Die Tacos haben wie aus dem Kino geschmeckt. Perfekt!

If you regularly greet people by saying “Gruß Gott” and eat knödel more than once a month, you might find Crazy Nate’s a bit baffling. On the flip side, if you’re cool, you’ll definitely find Crazy Nate’s is just awesome! Good grub, good vibe, good drinks. Owner is a very cool dude. If ever I miss the West Coast, I’m headed straight there (the restaurant, not the coast).

Einfach nur WOW! Haben den Laden durch Zufall entdeckt, es waren die besten Tacos, die wir je gegessen haben und wir lieben Tacos und haben schon viele probiert. Der Besitzer ist super nett und zuvorkommend, die Preise sind wirklich super günstig! Wir werden nur dafür extra mal wieder die Stunde Fahrt in Kauf nehmen und nach Nürnberg düsen! :-)

We stopped by today for the first time and it was one of the best memories from our Vacation here! The food is AMAZING and top service. We will definitely come back the next time we are here. And the best thing about it is, it's American owned!!

Das Essen war richtig gut und verdient 5 Sterne, aber es gibt keinen Table Service, der Margarita erinnert mich an einen Limetten-Slushy (ist überhaupt Tequila drin) und es war sehr kalt. Der Ort hat Potential, aber bietet mir noch zu wenig für das Geld, das ich dort lasse... Aber ansonsten richtig geile Deko und das Konzept find ich auch gut

The owner Nate has created an authentic and inviting atmosphere that definitely keeps us coming back for more. The tacos are a work of art, bursting with vibrant colors and robust flavors. Each bite is a fiesta of taste, with tender meats and fresh ingredients. The burritos are equally impressive. Don't forget to pair your meal with a locally brewed IPA beer from good ol’ Nuremberg, expertly selected to enhance the bold flavors of the Mexican cuisine (just ask Nate what he can recommend). This place is literally a testament to the owner's dedication and passion for delivering a truly exceptional dining experience. Forget about all the other places in Nuremberg. This is to place to be haha! :D

Crazy Nate macht lecker essen hat gute (harte) Mucke am Start und sorgt für ein leicht nerd'iges Ambiente, lass dich überraschen. 😁 Ich war nur kurz drin um ein paar leckere quesedillas zu essen wollte aber gar nicht mehr gehen. Hatte ein paar magherittas zuviel, Preise sind auch ok. Inhaber spricht deutsch und englisch.

Essen in Ordnung, hatte aber auch schon besseres. Preise für Selbstbedienung zu hoch. Der Mitarbeiter schreit mich an, weil ich die Soßenflasche kurz mit zum Tisch genommen habe. Ich war zum ersten Mal dort und wusste nicht, dass man Schälchen nehmen muss. Ebenfalls haben die Mitarbeiter schlechte Deutschkenntnisse.
