Hot Tacos in Nürnberg

The presentation of the food is just sad. The literally put three nachos on my plate. The guy is nice, but the food doesn’t meet positive expectations.

I was there for the first time today. A man (I mean the owner) immediately asked if it was your first time there and if he could explain how it works. He also gave great open and honest advice, even if it didn't make the most profit for him. Unfortunately there is no toilet and the dips were forgotten. Otherwise great: nice staff, good food, great price.

I was surprised at the extremely fast service despite it being lunchtime. I had the plate with three tacos, a plate of tortillas and a drink for a total of 19 euros. However, you have to clearly emphasize the excellent quality of the products and the great taste. While writing the review I immediately felt like it again and went back straight away.

I've been there several times and haven't been disappointed yet. Our order was taken and prepared an hour before closing time and tasted just as fresh and delicious as it did at lunchtime during peak time. Price-performance ratio is awesome. Would always come back.

The food is ok, but expensive for what you end up getting.

The boss is a very nice person. Even when eating, they ask if I say Alles Klar. The taste of the burrito is ordinary and it is difficult to eat well.. I ate it all while spilling it.

You have to speak of a little insider tip, hidden in a side street but incredibly tasty. The staff was super friendly and helpful when putting together the food (be sure to get the tomatillo dip 🤤) and it tastes simply amazing. In addition, there is an incredibly low price. Absolute recommendation for anyone who wants delicious Mexican food.

So so delicious!! Just the right spiciness and also vegetarian/vegan possible. Definitely a big recommendation!

I tried out the tacos and unfortunately I have to say that the meat needs to be cooked longer, or at least there should be more sauce and better seasonings. Everything was very bland and tough. Has nothing to do with the originals in Mexico and California. - Unfortunately the service is not particularly polite either. I don't appreciate it when people call me to pick up the food with harsh gestures (while the beeper isn't working), even though it's not busy, and especially the "wink" when returning the dishes without saying thank you.

Pretty little restaurant in downtown Nuremberg with very, very tasty food! We had a vegan burrito - highly recommended. Important information: there are no toilets and due to a construction site it is currently not so nice to sit outside. Of course, the restaurant can't do anything about that.

I was there on June 5th. in town and wanted to buy burritos. The store was empty and the employee was already annoyed when I placed my order for 2 mini burritos with the dips that came with them! He pampered me, how am I supposed to know what kind of dips it comes with!!!!I also wanted salta and a second sour cream! Apparently that was too much for him...another customer came along and placed his order. He wanted to leave out an ingredient, whereupon the employee complained to the guest: "That's the way it is, otherwise it wouldn't be Mexican." And started preparing food. Another customer came in and added order number 3. My 2 portions of 2 burritos each were ready and squeezed into 1 box. (the box couldn't be closed despite squeezing the burritos) I said that he should please take two packages because they were for two different people! He “threw” the box to the side and it hit it well. Then he complained about the environment and stuff. And started preparing the next meals we ordered. I stood there and was ignored! It would have taken 10 minutes to repack it... only when he had finished order 2+3 did I get my now cold burritos. He was so aggressive and disrespectful!!! When I asked him his name to complain, he didn't even have the balls to tell me his name. I also asked for the receipt, which was not given to me. The meal cost 2.5 euros more than expected and I wanted to have the receipt to understand this. With the portions you usually get 1x sour cream included in the price. Not this time because I also paid for the sour cream that was included in the menu Court belonged! Dear owner, it's a shame that your staff is so rude and you have to think about whether you want to eat there again, even if you're considering taking it away! With this outrageous and disrespectful staff!!!!!The nice employee had a tattoo on the inside of his right upper arm (Nino or Nivo with a date) black hair and a beard!!!What's wrong with this employee???? He shouldn't work with people!!!! Your behavior was so bad, I hope I don't see you again if I come again!!!!

The staff was extremely friendly, the food was really great, the taste was really Mexican, if you don't like that you should just order sour cream and dip it. In terms of price, if you order everything possible with a drink, you'll get 15-20€ (from the tacos (3) I was full but not completely full.

The food was very tasty and the price was also quite good, but I assume the chef who was behind the counter was just rude and arrogant. When I asked if I would get more sauce, he replied that I should have said that a little earlier and I don't have any now get more sauce

Rude salespeople who are disrespectful to customers and think they are doing something better.

Good Mexican food at a very good price, they have habanero chili sauce which is always appreciated.

Food was delicious (quesadillas & burritos). But the price-performance ratio isn't quite right. Veggie quesadillas for 10 EUR + Spezi for 3.50. Service is very friendly.

We didn't eat anything because they didn't have Corona beer and friendliness was conspicuous by its absence.

Very satisfied! The tacos on Fürther Straße are a taste experience of authentic Mexican cuisine. Everything is freshly prepared here, especially the tender beef, which is served with fresh vegetables. The staff are extremely friendly. A must in Nuremberg 🤩 In addition, the tacos in the city center also taste great 🤩

I used to go to this place for the quesadillas, but today I was freely mistreated more than one time. The guy(probably owner) seemed to have a problem with foreigners. Unfortunately will never come back there or recommend this place.

The portions are just tiny for the prices and it wasn't always like that. Very unfortunate.

Small shop in the middle of the city center. I've overlooked it so far, but: really tasty tacos and a hot sauce that you have to try. The guys in the kitchen were super nice and would even give you a sourcream if it was a little too spicy. I will definitely come back. Stamp card is at the start.

If you like more than loud kitchen noises, this is the place for you. If you want to eat something in peace and quiet, you should order the freshly prepared dishes to take away.

Favorite Mexican when things need to be quick. You just have to bring your own hot green sauce ;)

I love hot tacos! I can recommend the one in Gostenhof for those who want to sit, eat and go to the toilet in a relaxed manner. The one in town is good for a quick meal on site or to go as there is no toilet there.

Hot tacos! Ay ay ay! Mama Sita! Insider tip in the back street in the pedestrian zone. We had quesadillas, tacos and mini burritos with various dips. Yummy!

Sehr leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service. In den Küchenbereich sollte man aber während des Essens nicht schauen, da sich das Personal an den Eigenkreationen bedient, fremde Personen in Privatkleidung im Küchenbereich stehen und die Lappen nicht wirklich frisch und sauber aussehen.

Super schnell mein Essen bekommen. Netter Service und leckeres Essen. Definitiv einen Besuch wert, wenn man in wenig Zeit eine gute Mahlzeit möchte für wenig Geld.

Ein absolutes muss wenn ich in der Stadt bin und das seit Jahren. Das Team toll, Vorallem der Filialleiter. Das Essen schmeckt so unglaublich gut. Gehe hier gerne hin. 10/10

Sehr leckere vegetarische Tacos, sehr lässige Atmosphäre

Netter, kleiner Laden mit ein paar wenigen Sitzplätzen und angenehm entspannter Musik. Die Leute vor Ort waren sehr freundlich und das Essen war ruck zuck fertig. Mein Quesedilla war lecker; nichts ausgefallenes aber gut. Den Preis fand ich in Ordnung. Ich würde wieder hier essen.

Zu viele Speisen nicht verfügbar gewesen, obwohl dies gerade für die Combos interessant sind.

Ultra entspannter Laden mit guter Musik und sehr netten Angestellten. Essen war eine 5/5. Das pulled Beef war saftig und die Schärfe war genau richtig. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder. 👍 Und Jungs und Mädels Trinkgeld nicht vergessen 😉

Got the vegetarian burrito. It was basically just lettuce and under seasoned rice in a wrap. No beans, guacamole, or any other protein source. The staff were nice but it really doesn’t make up for the expensive and disappointing food.

Super leckere Burritos! Super Lage in der Innenstadt und gute Sitzmöglichkeiten. Leider haben sie keine Toilette und somit gibt es auch keine Möglichkeit sich nach dem Essen die Hände zu waschen. Erfrischungstücher würden hier helfen.

Super leckere Nachos mit Guacemole, Jogurt und Hackfleisch, zentral gelegen und Möglichkeiten draußen zu sitzen. Freundliche Betreiber. Haben uns während eines Filmdrehs etwas spendiert, obwohl wir die Straße blockieren.

Also das Essen ist okay aber wirklich sehr teuer für die kleine Portion. Das Fleisch ist sicher toll aber ansonsten... Der Salat wird mit erwärmt, dadurch schmeckt er natürlich nicht frisch. Warmen Eisbergsalat mag ich nicht. Die Mitarbeiter sind eingebildet und gelangweilt.

Bester Laden in Nbg wenn ihr Lust auf Tacos, Burritos usw habt. Mega nettes Personal.. immer wieder gerne

Wirklich klasse! Essen ging extrem schnell, war super lecker. Dazu kommt: Der Herr hinter der Theke hat bei der Arbeit den Spaß seines Lebens. Unfassbar, wieviel gute Laune man versprühen kann. Absolute Empfehlung!

Affordable option for authentic Mexican food in town!

Mit Abstand einer der geilsten Fast Food Läden in ganz Nürnberg. Der Service ist seit Jahren überragend, genauso wie der Musik Geschmack und das Ambiente. Das Essen ist auch seit langen Jahren auf Top Level, die Burritos sind mit Abstand die besten die ich bisher in Deutschland irgendwo gegessen habe. Ich liebe diesen Laden.

Crazy Ambiente, crazy Mitarbeiter, leckeres und authentisches Essen

Für mich ein NO GO ! Der Salat wird nicht gewaschen. Jeder weiß das Salat gewaschen werden muss auf Nachfrage habe ich ein Nein bekommen das ist einfach Abturn ! Da ich in meiner Schwangerschaft mehr darauf achten muss bin ich froh gefragt zu haben aber ich finde es echt mies da es für jedermann selbstverständlich ist Salat zu waschen ☹️

I lived in California for several years and know how a Burrito should taste! This Burrito tastes nothing like a Burrito should, it looks like one but misses the idea of a Burrito on several items: Spices, Meat preparation, Wrap, Sauces etc. But that is not the key issues. The staff is missing customer centricity which results in being unfriendly, blaming customers for being not clear enough. One guy working there yelled at customers for no reason because he felt that they should have been clearer with their order. The guys working there were verbally fighting over trivial stuff. Do not recommend going there since fake Mexican food made in a very German way, poor customer experience and this all for 8€ Burrito and 4€ Drink.

La comida era normal pero la verdadera razón por la que escribo esto es que el personal es terrible. Cuando entré al restaurante no me saludaron ni nada. Obtuve un mejor servicio en el lugar doner al otro lado de la calle que aquí. En general, este lugar no es tan bueno, pero el personal es terrible.

Terribly disappointed, greeted by 2 unfriendly arrogant guys with no clue of what it means to provide customer service. The burritos (which were quite overpriced) were hardly filled, only slightly tasted a little bit Mexican, the lack of flavour and proper ingredients was overcompensated by filling the sauce with sugar. But the food isn’t the reason for me feeling compelled to write this review, it was the rudeness of the staff, to top it off we were even asked to clear our own table because they were too lazy to come around and collect the plates. I’d expect such service from a hole in the wall 3€ falafel shop not somewhere we spent 18€ for a horrible attempt at a burrito. Save yourself the hassle and get a falafel from the lovely man next door. -Nürnberg citizen who cares about the service industry.

The food was very nice but the service experienced was bad. The bill was 8 euro but he charged me 10 euro because there's a 10 euro minimum when paying by card. I expected 2 euro back but got nothing. So I guess I just gave a 2 euro tip for fast food. Eventually I was allowed to get a water bottle from the fridge. Perhaps this is Mexican hospitality.

I had the burrito with chili con carne! Very good and tasty and the staff was friendly and happy! All in all a great experience! Highly recommended!

A great little take away restaurant with the option for around 18 to eat in. Suitable location close to most of the shops, prices are inexpensive and the drinks options are vast. Staff are friendly and happy to help with your selections. Highly recommended and will return if visiting the city again.

A little pricey. Smaller portions. But fresh super tasty food. So worth it. 100% will be visiting again. As an American living in Germany craving Mexican/texmex is a full time obsession. Hot tacos satiated that need for burritos and spicy salsa verde!! Loved it.

When I imagine tacos and burritos, they do not have cheese, lettuce and chipottle on them, but man was I wrong. I cannot call this authentic mexican food but definitely it is 2 thumbs up! I will be stopping by here tomorrow <3 again.

A friend and I visited hot tacos very excited for some Mexican food after a long day of travelling to nuremberg to be sorely disappointed by the service provided. I gave my order, I can be quite fussy so there wasn't going to be a lot of salad on the burrito, he looked at me and in front of the whole store and said he wasn't making that, it would be too tiny and told me he would make mini burritos (very rude to the point of almost me saying don't worry about it and walking out) received food, was tasty but tiny in comparison of what I initially wanted. My friend then ordered a chicken burrito, he went away to make it then called out her order to find that he had made two small tacos, she told the guy that she ordered a chicken burrito, and he said no you ordered taco (again in front of the whole store), he did not attempt to fix this issue or take her word for it so she ate the tacos, not quite sure how he got tacos and burrito mixed up... (very small proportion again) ate quickly then left as soon as possible. Very unimpressed by the service, staff were very rude and ignorant to our requests, very bad first impression of Germany...

Staff - One was "meh", the second absolutely enthusiastic and the third one friendly and attentive. Food - I had tacos. They were the best I ever had. My friend had the burrito - best he ever had. Simply put - go there!

This place is amazing!!! I had two mini burritos. One with chorizo and one vegetarian. I had Guacamole and Chipotle dips. The chipotle was spicier than most, but amazing! I meant to take a picture but I got excited about the food and forgot. Great Mexican style comida. Best Mexican I've had in Germany!

Just came across this place when walking around in nuremburg. Very casual, quirky place and the best burritos ever!! Defiantly worth a visit.

We just happened to be walking past Hot Tacos after seeing the Nuremberg Memorial, and after seeing it looked pretty busy we took that as a good sign and decided to try it. The food is definitely not authentic Mexican but it's good and hot...

I go there often for lunch during the weekend when in the city center. All the food is good, it's a great alternative to the typical fast food restaurants.

People are friendly. The place is small but clean. Has a few places to sit. Ideal stop after shopping or a city center walk. Food is fresh. However I was a bit disappointed with the Tacos. No doubt tasty but not the usual crisp ones...

If you are spending some time in the city center and want a short "food break" I strongly recommend this place. Good atmosphere and service, the food is always fresh and good! You should come and try.

Great food, good vibe, and top service. It is great value and every time I eat here it reminds all that is wrong with the big fast food chains. Here you can eat home cooked fresh food for the same price as Big Mac meal....
