Enchilada Nürnberg in Nürnberg

The food itself is very tasty. What is absolutely not right is the price-performance ratio! Very small portions. The Pollo enchiladas for €15.90 are a joke! Three cannelloni-sized pieces are at most an appetizer. If you mention this fact, the waitress shrugs their shoulders. Sovereignty works differently. Overall, it's rather loud there and unfortunately not every food order makes it to the kitchen...

The food, drinks and service are pretty good. The place has got a nice vibe with a good ambience.

Fast service, the food is delicious, frozen margarita top. What was interesting was that the portion of enchiladas was quite small, but enough meat and toppings were served for the fajitas. We had to complain about the tortillas because they were hard and stuck together in one place, but we immediately received new ones.

Food tastes good, BUT… Unfortunately, the portions were very small and the price was very high (the main course was the size of a starter), service was overwhelmed, orders came very late or not at all.

Si bien la comida era promedio en el mejor de los casos, fue el comportamiento del personal lo que verdaderamente arruinó la noche. Cuando salíamos y nos poníamos las chaquetas cerca de la salida, una camarera entró con una bandeja llena de bebidas. En lugar de esperar a que nos moviéramos o intentar navegar con cuidado, ella siguió adelante, chocando con nosotros y derramando las bebidas sobre otra mesa de clientes. Para nuestra sorpresa, comenzó a gritarnos e incluso a jurar en alemán. Su comportamiento no solo era poco profesional sino francamente hostil. Otro miembro del personal se nos acercó, también gritando, y nos culpó por "cerrar el paso. " Si bien la distribución del restaurante es limitada con muy poco espacio entre las mesas, esta reacción agresiva y grosera fue totalmente innecesaria. Un poco de paciencia y comprensión habría sido mucho más apropiado, especialmente porque ya estábamos avanzando hacia la salida. A pesar de gastar alrededor de 200 € en el restaurante, nos encontramos con un trato terrible a nuestra salida. Esta fue una de las peores experiencias gastronómicas que hemos tenido. No volveremos y no podemos recomendar este lugar a otros.

Very tasty food, very friendly and very attentive staff even though everything was fully booked. Everything is done here to make the guest happy. Everyone is very highly motivated. We would be happy to come back and therefore a clear recommendation for us. Thank you for giving us a wonderful Christmas Eve and for being there for us.

Food was the worst ‘mexican’ food I have ever tasted. Crunchy chicken (which costs 17 euros) was not even a chicken piece, it was just minced chicken meat and It wasn’t even taste like chicken. Compared to price and taste, most awful experience in my life.

We were passing through and we know much better Mexican. It's meh, disappointing lack of flavors.

We waited 15 minutes, then we left again, no one wanted to serve us and at the end there was a stupid comment.

It's unclear how this place has 4.3 stars. All four of us love Mexican food, but none of us enjoyed our meal this evening. A server tried to be helpful when we ordered a side of rice and beans, a staple in any Mexican restaurant. However this place did not offer beans whatsoever. The guacamole was horrible; I'm sure the chicken in my burrito came from a frozen bag; even the chips were not very good. The salsa tasted like ketchup and the other sauces were more like gravy. Oh, and the prices were ridiculous.

Unfortunately it has deteriorated extremely. Has nothing to do with what it once was. The ambience and service aren't bad, but the portions are way too small and way too expensive.

We really enjoy eating and drinking cocktails here. The service staff is usually very nice, relaxed and still “on the ball”, the food is not the healthiest 😉, but very tasty, great selection, the cocktails are great. One of the few bars in Nuremberg that you can recommend👌

Very good food and the staff were nice and fixed a place quickly for two. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy in the room and we ended up with a very loud group so it was difficult to talk to each other.

Mixed performance The service was very nice and the food came quickly, but we felt rushed - the next reservation was already ready even though we hadn't paid yet. The loud music also made it very uncomfortable. The three burritos (€17) were disappointing: the one with chicken was good, but nothing special. The one with minced meat tasted like old meat, and the one with meat substitute was inedible. Unfortunately the chocolate cake didn't have a soft core.

The food and atmosphere was warm and vibrant. By arrival there was no free space so we sat at the bar and the waitress said we would get another table if free. But as we changed our table (having told another waitress and getting confirmed), the waitress came at us and angrily asked : “where do you come from?” As if we’ve done something wrong! At the end we decided to give no tip because of this behaviour but we realised how her temper suddenly changed and threw the receipt on the table. We find this behaviour inappropriate and rude.

A noticeable improvement compared to before. Unfortunately the map is significantly reduced in size, but you can get by. The Fiesta de la muerte card is an idea. Still, the pepper steak is missing, which was the burner for years. That could easily be the case, since there are also those unfortunate burgers on the menu. Wir hatten beide den "Grünen Teller" mit gefüllter Paprika, Avocado, Burrito, etc... danach waren wir satt. Trotzdem haben wir noch die Churros gegessen. Dann waren wir pappsatt. Wir haben keine Bestellung bereut. Die Bedienung war freundlich und flott, die Getränke kamen schnell und waren kalt. Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch, gut gewürzt. Die Fritten super knusprig. Ich habe mir noch zwei Dips dazu bestellt, weil mir nur die eine Sauce dabei zu wenig war. Aber für den Dip-Preis konnte man das gut machen. Die Churros waren knusprig, frisch, warm, nicht zu fettig. Die Schokosauce dazu war sehr lecker und zum Finger abputzen gab es ein Erfrischungstuch dazu. Die Margarita mit Likör 43 war auch super lecker. Die Lage ist auch toll und wir hatten so schöne Plätze, dass wir auf Kirche und Schönen Brunnen gucken konnten. Unser Hund war auch kein Problem.

The food here is very tasty and fresh. I had a chicken bowl and felt full afterwards. The atmosphere is nice and the waiters are also very nice. However, like almost everywhere, once you've eaten and drank, no one comes to the table for ages and asks if you'd like to order anything else. In addition, the prices for food (from €15 without a side dish, which costs extra) and drinks are quite high (wine €6.50, beer €5,…). It's worth drinking a cocktail at happy hour. They are delicious and contain a lot of alcohol. Otherwise quite expensive for €12-15. One star deducted for that. Otherwise I can highly recommend the enchilada 👍🏻

Das Essen war relativ in Ordnung (normale Portionen), Geschmäck in Ordnung. Ein bisschen teuer, aber in der Innenstadt in Nürenberg, auch verständlich...was für uns eine Überraschung war ist, dass sie automatisch 10% Tipps-Kosten ohne fragen genommen haben...Gesamtpreis ist automatisch teuerer geworden.

It is highly recommended to end the day at Enchilada and enjoy the quality of the food and drinks. Unlike other restaurants nearby, guests here get an ambience combined with hospitality.

The cocktails were really great, but the food was very lacking. We've been there several times in the past and were really disappointed with what's currently on the menu. Spare ribs, for example, or a mixed plate were completely missing...

We ended up here by chance on Friday evening. It was still happy hour and it was really worth it. The cocktails are good and tasty. We also had food from the summer menu - it was really worth it. The service was quick and attentive. We'd love to come by again.

The restaurant is located very close to Nuremberg's main market. Food and drinks are very good and the staff is very nice. Outdoor tables are a must in summer.

If you think the food is a bit expensive for these portions, it could be a little more or a little cheaper. The seasoning was a bit bland for our taste, but everyone sees it differently. The cocktails tasted like pure juice even though they were supposed to be very strong. At the end the bill came, which was my mistake for not checking or asking for it straight away. But then I did this at home and discovered that the waitress had probably screwed up the numbers (requested 97 instead of 78) and thus received a tip of 21 euros. Of course it was my mistake because I didn't notice it straight away or ask, but if I get a tip of 21 euros for an amount under 100 euros, I'll ask or pay attention to it. At least that's how it is with us Unfortunately it was our first and last visit

I've been coming to Enchilada since 1995... a lot has changed since then and not everything for the better! During my last visit on Thursday, the food (Chimichanga original and pulled pork fajitas) was completely tasteless. There was not a hint of cumin or chili, let alone salt and pepper. Unfortunately there was nothing at the table to add seasoning. The cocktails were good as always. However, since the food was far below average, I found €25 for the fajita and €15 for the chimichanga (which was served on a small plate without any side dish) much too expensive. All in all, I was disappointed!

We celebrated our birthday there and it wasn't a nice experience. I won't eat there again. The food was anything but good, the quality wasn't there, the fajitas (pulled pork and pollo) were on the same level as ready meals, the drinks were OK. For the hefty prices you would expect different quality. In addition, a waitress was somehow overwhelmed (even though the store was almost empty) and literally threw her plate on the table (which is defined as behavior that is detrimental to business). With the quality of the food and the staff, it's no wonder the restaurant industry is in agony.

Not authentic at all. It is very hard to find authentic food in Germany. I am Mexican and none of the food they had in the menu made any sense. Their ingredients on some of these “tacos” were very odd and the tamale was topped off with pico de gallo? The horchata was a powder mix, not homemade. In my personal opinion, if Taco Bell had a sit down restaurant then this would be close to it. If you want authentic Mexican food with amazing service look elsewhere. The waitress rang our bill up and when she gave us the change she said “do you want your change back? “ my friend said yes. She quickly replied “well tip is not included in the bill” practically forcing a tip out of us. Servers in Europe do not work off tips. This was very rude and unprofessional. Vibe was good, music was reggaeton. This is great for someone who is not familiar with authentic Mexican food.

It was one of my favorite restaurants but yesterday I just had steak and it was so hard and cold.

They really screwed up my birthday. Even though I had made a reservation months in advance, they tried to give us a bar table at the entrance. Apparently we were late, which is not true. I had called 2 weeks before and said that we would come at 11 p.m. instead of 10:45 p.m. Apparently they didn't write that down, but that's not my problem! Then you wanted 1.50 euros in “plate money” per person, even though I had already left almost 100 euros there anyway. The female waitress there is just cheeky and talks condescendingly to guests. I told the manager on site and all he said was "and what should I do now?". This store is just disgusting... never again. Better go to Alex or BarCelona.

Nice Mexican restaurant in the heart of Nuremberg. We were first warmly welcomed at the Enchilada. We then looked at the menu; The selection of vegetarian dishes there was particularly overwhelming. Personally, we would have liked more dishes with meat, especially Mexican cuisine, as it is synonymous with meat dishes. We finally settled on tacos and a chicken burger, as well as homemade sodas. The very courteous service took the orders and the lemonades arrived promptly. These were already very tasty. The food was also delicious, although the chicken burger was a little crispier and of a higher quality. The fries and the tacos were convincing. The payment process then went smoothly. Overall, the lemonades and Mexican food in particular were very tasty. In addition, the service was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, we would have been happy with a selection with more Mexican meat dishes and a higher quality burger. Nevertheless, the restaurant is recommended!

SOOO enjoyed this restaurant, if for no other reason than it's really difficult to find "Mexican food" in Germany 😬🤭 Approximated the vibe of this class of food without the cheesy decor. Covered outdoor seating, indoor dining with front walls that open to the sidewalk, also. Enjoyed real chips and salsas(again, not what you usually find in Germany), enchiladas and burritos. Simply served with salsas. Ordered a "classic" margarita (look it up) and it was very well made. Finally, if there on a weekend, there's a server whose name is Michael who is efficient and fun. Ask him to tell you what his dad says about marriage!😉

Tourist trap! Only drink bottled beer there! Wine: lowest quality ever! Cocktails consist almost exclusively of "crushed ice" NEVER again, as do the homemade lemonades. Coffee was OK Service very nice and attentive. Food very low quality and completely overpriced! Avoid! Far too many reviews here seem ordered.
